Et c'est dans les loges de « la cinquième salle », que nous accueille un quinqua au visage adolescent qui n'a de cesse d'envisager la musique comme un jeu...Pour suivre Kid KoalaYouTube / Facebook / Instagram / XKid Koala en tournée Titres diffusésExtraits de l'album 12 bites Blues (Ninja Tune – 2012) : « 1 bit blues - 10,000 miles » ; « 2 bit Blues  » Extrait de l'album Creatures of the Late Afternoon (Envision Records – 2023) : « Things are gonna change » feat Lealani Extraits de l'album Somme of my best friends are djs (Ninja Tune - 2003) : « Shanky Panky » ; « Vacation Island »Extrait de l'album Floor Kids - Original Video Games Sound Track (Arts & Crafts - 2018) : « Five Spot Stomp »Et aussi :« Crazy in love » (Kid Koala version) par Emeli Sandé, extrait de la B.O. du film de Baz Luhrmann, The Great Gatsby (2013)« Strictly business » par EPMD (1988)Extraits de l'album Deltron 3030(2000) de Deltron 3030 : « Positive Contact » ; « 3030 » ; « St. Catherine St. »Extraits de l'album It takes a nation of millions to hold us back (1988) de Public Enemy : « Security of the first world » ; « Night of the living baseheads » ;  « Show'Em whatcha got » ; « Mind terrorist » « Terminator x to the edge of panic »« Its All Over » de The Slew Extraits de l'album Doing it to death (1973) des J.B.'s : « Introduction to the J.B.'s » ; « Doing it to death part. 1 »Journaliste : Hortense VolleRéalisation : Benjamin SarraliéMixage 3D en Dolby ATMOS pour une écoute immersive au casque :Jérémie BessetResponsable d'unité de production FMM – RFI Labo : Xavier Gibert

Welcome back to The New Exchange podcast and to very the beginning of season 7. I am beyond excited to share these talks with you, starting with a guest I've been dying to have on here for a long time. Seye Adelekan is a Nigerian-British artist who's toured with Lana Del Rey, Emeli Sandé, KT Tunstall, and Paloma Faith; though he is best known as a prominent live member of Gorillaz's touring party. I first saw Seye onstage at Governors Ball way back in 2014, performing alongside Damon Albarn. Since then, I've been a fan, and seeing his growth as an artist over the years has been something special. Along with being an in-demand touring musician, Seye has also started to release his own solo music. His latest songs have so far explored various shades of human emotions, while also being draped with this tone of intimacy and expansiveness that speaks to his years of experience as an artist. On this premiere episode of the podcast, Seye shares with me his experiences of finding refuge in creativity amidst navigating sobriety, embracing his cultural roots, and also what happens when you start believing in yourself.

Emeli joins Emma to discuss her music and career. How are disabled children being affected by the war in Ukraine? There are claims that thousands have been forgotten and abandoned in institutions unable to look after them. The human rights organisation, Disability Rights International, has carried out an investigation. Their Ukraine Office Director, Halyna Kurylo joins Emma. ‘Alice's Book' by Karina Urbach tells the story of Karina's grandmother Alice Urbach. Before the Second World War Alice wrote a cookbook called Cooking the Viennese Way! - but when books by Jewish authors couldn't be distributed, Alice was taken off it. Karina talks about her family history, intellectual theft by the Nazis and her mission to restore Alice Urbach's name to her cookbook. Abi Morgan is a BAFTA and Emmy-award winning playwright and screenwriter whose credits include The Iron Lady, Suffragette and The Hour. She has now written her first book - This Is Not A Pity Memoir - about an extraordinarily tumultuous period in her and her family's life. Last weekend the Baftas saw Sophie Willan, the actress and creator of Alma's Not Normal, take home an award for best female performance in comedy. The sitcom is based on Sophie's own experience of growing up in care, and focuses on her relationship with the women in her family. Sophie dedicated her win to her grandmother, Denise Willan, who sadly passed away half-way through filming the show. Watching Eurovision tonight? Two hundred million people are expected to watch it, live from Turin. Representing the UK this year is Sam Ryder. He's doing well at the moment and is second favourite to win behind Ukraine.
