Winning the Rewired Pitchfest 2026 competition has put women's health in the spotlight, but Daye's founder Valentina Milanova tells Digital Health Unplugged that the UK is still "falling behind" on care, research and investment. In the latest podcast episode, Tammy Lovell, editor at Digital Health News, speaks to Milanova about the urgent need to rethink women's health and why progress has been slower than it should be. They explore the ongoing challenges, from stigma and funding gaps to delays in diagnosis and access to care, and what needs to change to better support patients. At the centre of the conversation is Daye's flagship innovation: a diagnostic tampon designed for at-home HPV testing, which offers a new approach to cervical cancer screening aimed at improving accessibility for patients while easing pressure on NHS services. Milanova also reflects on the wider issues shaping women's health - from the legacy of women being excluded from clinical trials until the 1990s to the reality that many women still wait years for a diagnosis. Listen to the full episode to hear why she believes the UK has the tools to tackle one of the most preventable cancers, but isn't moving fast enough. What if the most dangerous season in your ministry is when everything looks like it's going well? Jimmy Dodd talks about the quiet drift that can happen beneath the surface and how to respond before it leads somewhere you never intended. In this episode of FrontStage BackStage, Jason Daye sits down with Jimmy Dodd, founder of PastorServe, to explore a reality many pastors experience but rarely name. There are seasons in ministry when things appear to be working. The church is moving forward. People are engaged. From the outside, it looks like health.Yet beneath the surface, something can begin to shift.Jimmy shares from years of walking closely with pastors, along with his own story, to talk about how drift does not usually happen all at once. It forms slowly, often hidden beneath effectiveness and reinforced by responsibility, affirmation, and the steady demands of ministry life. Because things still seem to be working, the deeper questions often go unasked. This conversation invites a different kind of awareness. It is an invitation to pay attention to what is happening within, not just what is visible around you. It also reframes those moments when something feels off. Rather than ignoring them, they can become meaningful points of reflection and realignment. They discussed:How ministry success can quietly cover over personal driftWhy pastors often miss what is happening beneath the surfaceThe subtle signs that something deeper may be shiftingHow responsibility and affirmation can reinforce unhealthy patternsWhy moments of awareness can lead to realignment and renewed healthThis episode will resonate with pastors and ministry leaders who sense that something is not quite right beneath the surface. It offers space to reflect, to be honest, and to take a step toward greater alignment, health, and dependence on Christ.Looking to dig more deeply into this topic and conversation? In a culture shaped by algorithms that edit everything to fit our preferences, many are comfortable with a Savior but resistant to a King. Kyle Idleman challenges pastors to cultivate ministries that are not reactive to culture but resilient in proclaiming Jesus as King over every area of life.Kyle Idleman joins host Jason Daye to explore why many people are comfortable with Jesus as Savior but resistant to Jesus as King, and what that means for pastors leading in today's culture. In every generation, pastors must discern the spirit of the age. In ours, everything is customizable. Algorithms learn our preferences. Feeds serve us what we already like. Entertainment adapts to our tastes. Slowly, that mindset seeps into faith. Many people are comfortable with a Savior. Fewer are ready for a King.In this conversation, Kyle Idleman and host Jason Daye explore what happens when Jesus is embraced for what He offers but resisted for what He demands. They discuss the subtle cultural pressure toward compartmentalized spirituality, where faith stays safely personal and never disrupts finances, relationships, ambitions, or influence. In an age that prefers a manageable Messiah, how can pastors lead people into wholehearted allegiance? How can ministry leaders cultivate resilient ministries that are not shaped by cultural comfort but by the reign of Christ over every area of life? This episode offers both challenge and encouragement for pastors seeking to lead faithfully in a culture that often prefers a comfortable Jesus.Together they discuss:• Why algorithm culture trains people to curate a comfortable spirituality• The difference between transactional faith and transformational surrender• The danger of compartmentalizing Jesus• What it means to preach Christ as Messiah and King• How pastors can lead courageously in a culture that resists authority• Why resilient ministry requires proclaiming the whole JesusIf this conversation encouraged you, share it with a fellow pastor or ministry leader. Ann White shares her journey of bringing those struggles into the light and discovering healing, courage, and freedom in Christ.Pastors and ministry leaders often carry hidden struggles that few people ever see. Pastor burnout rarely happens overnight. Benjamin Espinoza joins Jason Daye to explore why so many faithful ministry leaders find themselves depleted and whether self-care is not selfish, but a matter of biblical stewardship. What happens when pastor burnout quietly takes root in the midst of faithful ministry? In this episode of FrontStage BackStage, host Jason Daye sits down with Benjamin Espinoza, pastor, leader, and author of Good News About Self-Care, to explore the reality of pastor burnout and the deeper theological questions surrounding self-care in ministry. With years of pastoral experience and a heart for the health of ministry leaders, Benjamin offers a thoughtful and biblically grounded perspective on why so many faithful leaders find themselves running on empty.Rather than treating exhaustion as a badge of honor, Benjamin invites pastors to reconsider whether caring for their souls is actually part of their responsibility before God. Together, they reflect on how ministry leaders can discern the difference between healthy sacrifice and unhealthy self-neglect, why burnout often grows unnoticed, and how a biblical understanding of stewardship reframes the conversation around rest, limits, and long-term faithfulness. In this conversation, they discuss:• Why pastors are especially vulnerable to burnout• The difference between sacrificial ministry and self-neglect• How self-neglect became spiritualized in church culture• What it means to see your life and energy as entrusted by God• Practical first steps for leaders who already feel depletedIf you are a pastor or ministry leader who feels stretched thin, this conversation will help you think more clearly about your limits, care more intentionally for your soul, and pursue a kind of faithfulness that is sustainable over time.Looking to dig more deeply into this topic and conversation? Nikki Daye, a school psychologist and ADHD advocate, grew up in the foster care system. She was diagnosed with ADHD as a child, but her medical records were eventually lost. As she got older, her ADHD diagnosis wasn't considered. Instead, her symptoms were misdiagnosed as anxiety, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. While her ADHD diagnosis was “lost in translation,” Nikki spent a lot of time feeling misunderstood and unsupported. It wasn't until adulthood that she finally got the clarity she needed.
