But it was at age 18 that she found what she really liked: A good pair of cdj and a headset. From then on he was only absent from the 2010-2014 electronic scene. Nowadays, he has been hired by BE ONE RECORDS and SONIKA IBIZA, and is very much influenced by elements from around the world. From famous DJs to established electronic music labels. She likes to look for new trends all the time around the world, creatively enhances the sets, and of course, all for the sake of the public, always generating a beautiful vibe making House, Techhouse and Techno her main style. Ricky recently shared stage with established artists such as D-nox, Dennis Cruz, DJ Glen, Chemical Surf, Viktor Lives, Mario Fischetti, Gabriel Boni, Soldera, Elefanktz, Tim Barsko. SoulfuLips (Bar Grooves Edition) Still riding on my holiday vibe, I felt it was time to revisit soulful house. Soulful tracks were beginning to accumulate in my hard drive and I thought it was time to present it in a series of sets. I am attempting to offer a classic soulful mood using mostly current releases. I have been using a lot of their mashups lately. Incredibly talented French duo, most of their tracks available as free downloads on SC. Their take on the Temptations/Doll Combers mash is remarkable and even if it brought the original mood of the set down, I still enjoyed dropping it. The MJ mash is not mad either. “A Gentleman’s Song FK” from Mark di Meo is the absolute stand out of the set. The song, which I believe refer to Frankie Knuckles, has the FK feel and is impeccably constructed. The way every instrument is introduced, very similar to a jazz or a classical construction is truly sublime. Hello Fellow Music Lovers, It's that time of year again – the holidays. It can be an amazing time to be with family and loved ones, but for many, it can also be a very depressing and trying time of year. I hope that every one of you can use the power of music to try to make it through any tough times you may be experiencing. And also, use music's inherent joy as a tool for celebration.
