Daily Soap Opera Spoilers by Soap Dirt (GH, Y&R, B&B, and DOOL)
Click to Subscribe: https://bit.ly/Youtube-Subscribe-SoapDirt General Hospital fans are in for a treat as Liesl Obrecht, played by the talented Kathleen Gati, makes her return to Port Charles. Her comeback coincides with the ongoing tension between her niece, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), and Drew Cain Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison). Obrecht's unexpected return seems to be spurred by an email from Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), who she shares a unique bond with. The young actor hinted that Rocco has dressed to impress for their meeting. GH sees Obrecht's return isn't all about family reunions. The cunning doctor is also likely to get involved in Nina's ongoing predicament with Drew. Nina's life has been in turmoil due to Drew's blackmail and controlling behavior, and the return of her aunt Liesl could be the support she needs. Known for her ruthlessness, Liesl is not one to stand by while her family is threatened. General Hospital fans see the speculation is that Liesl might join forces with Nina to bring down Drew and free her from his manipulative grasp. But with Liesl's history of questionable actions and Drew's transformation from a decent man to a power-hungry individual, anything can happen. On this episode of Exclusively Van Halen, we share Jas Obrecht's world debut of one of Edward Van Halen's happiest, most memorable interviews. On that special morning — May 20, 1991 — Edward was on top of the world. He was celebrating the birth of his son, Wolfgang… his relationship with Valerie was strong… and he had just finished mixing For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge, Van Halen's first album in three years. The interview took place in the control room of Edward's expansive 5150 home studio. The console was a perfect snapshot of his world — cigarettes, tools, bottlecaps, a bowl of guitar slides, and Motley Crüe and Led Zeppelin CDs scattered around. “Before we do the interview,” Edward said, “I want you to hear the new album.” He cued up an advance CD of For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge, showed Jas the volume slider, and with a grin, said, “Hope ya like it,” before walking out the door. When the album finished, Edward returned, flipped a switch, and lit up two massive rooms behind the control room window — one filled with his guitars and amps, the other with Alex's drum setup. Right then, Jas and Edward launched into the wide-ranging interview you're about to hear. https://youtu.be/pG7e5crFnpE?si=R8MfBwPC_X8JNMQL Listening back after 34 years, Jas was struck by how joyful, relaxed, and full of life Edward sounded. This is the Edward Jas will always remember — and now you'll get to hear him that way too. The black-and-white photo of Edward is by Jon Sievert. Portions of this interview appeared in Guitar Player magazine's August 1991 issue. If you're into hard rock and heavy metal guitar, check out Jas's Talking Guitar interviews with Edward — plus conversations with legends like Angus and Malcolm Young of AC/DC, Yngwie Malmsteen, Michael Schenker, Joe Satriani, Vivian Campbell, and Ratt's Warren DeMartini and Robbin Crosby. Daily Soap Opera Spoilers by Soap Dirt (GH, Y&R, B&B, and DOOL)
Click to Subscribe: https://bit.ly/Youtube-Subscribe-SoapDirt General Hospital fans are in for a rollercoaster ride with the latest rumors around the popular ABC soap opera. High on the list is the potential return of fan favorite, Dr. Liesel Obrecht, played by Kathleen Gati. Obrecht, notorious for her past medical malpractices, could potentially play a major role in the revival of her daughter, Britt Westbourne, portrayed by Kelly Thiebaud. This speculation is fueled by the rumor that Thiebaud is returning to the show, albeit with amnesia. GH sees the rumor mill doesn't stop there. There is talk about the possible exit of Sofia Mattson, who plays Sasha Gilmore, possibly to escape the dangers of the Corinthos family. Kirsten Storms, known for her role as Maxie Jones, is also rumored to be taking a six-month medical leave. General Hospital sees that on a lighter note, fans might be relieved to hear that despite popular demand, the show is not planning to kill off Drew Cain Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison). Meanwhile, actor Josh Kelly is rumored to move from a contract to a recurring role as Cody Bell. Fans should note that these are all rumors as of now and may or may not turn into actual storylines. durée : 00:27:24 - Jean-Michel Obrecht : ma ferme en ville

This week we have a combo episode. It tells the stories of two successful women in marketing, in two different roles within marketing, united by the same graduate degree. Emilie Vicchio is the Marketing and Brand Communication Director at Client Solutions Architect, a global professional services firm. And Shannon Obrecht is her own boss. She owns her design agency, where she has dedicated her career to brand architecture and design. What I love about this episode is the dichotomy between these two; despite two different disciplines, they were both part of the University of Illinois' inaugural class for the Master's in Strategic Brand Communication Program (SBC). We dive into how the SBC program helped transform their careers and if this program or any form of higher education might help you. September 2022, 17.30 Uhr in Apulien, Italien. Host and American Family Farmer, Doug Stephan www.eastleighfarm.com begins with news that recent reports show that 2 of every 5 Americans are involved, in some way, with food production. 43 million have food industry related jobs and are paid $2 trillion in wages. Next, we meet Jeff Obrecht, Broker/Owner, Auctioneer, & Certified General Appraiser in Iowa. Known as “The Dirt Dealer” and based in Iowa Falls, Iowa, Obrecht says that land prices for good to excellent farmland are up 25% to 30% in the last year. https://www.thedirtdealer.com/ According to the Fed Report, here are percent changes in dollar value of good farmland, from January 1, 2021 to January 1, 2022: Illinois: +18%, Indiana: +22%, Iowa: +30%, Michigan: +19% and Wisconsin: +12%. Finally, Farmer Doug opines that we all need to strive for keeping local farms open and the farmers interested in staying in business, by buying local.

Welcome to our second holiday special! We give you first a touching family Christmas story, "Christmas at Red Butte," by Lucy Maud Montgomery, the author of Anne of Green Gables. Next, a Christmas meditation by Charles Dickens, entitled "A Christmas Tree." In this piece, the author of "A Christmas Carol" offers, instead of a story, a set of reminiscences about the meaning of Christmas past as he contemplates life-long celebrations of presents and toys, books, and stories both silly and serious — including a long section on ghost stories — and of course, as "A Christmas Carol" itself reminds us, telling ghost stories was a major Christmas tradition in Victorian England, adding supernatural chills to the chills caused by the weather. CREDITS Montgomery, "Christmas at Red Butte": read by Dee Canfield * Axletree, "Clothe the Fields with Plenty"; "Drops of Melting Snow"; "The Silent Grove" [https://freemusicarchive.org/music/Axletree/music-from-a-hampshire-farm] Dickens, "A Christmas Tree": read by Mischa Hooker * Borrtex, "Buying Presents"; "Happy Holidays"; "Christmas Eve"; "Love & Generosity" [https://freemusicarchive.org/music/Borrtex/Christmas_Time] * Jon Sayles [http://www.jsayles.com/familypages/EarlyMusic.htm; http://www.jsayles.com/familypages/holidaymusic.htm]: Couperin, "Les barricades mistérieuses"; Ravel, Piano Concerto in G, Adagio (2nd movement); Fauré, Requiem: "Kyrie," "Libera me," "Pie Jesu"; Obrecht, "Pace Domine"; Dufay, "Proles de caelo," "Ce mois de May"; Senfl, "Gottes Gewalt Kraft"; Pevernage, "Secoure moy, madame"; Carols: "Deck the Halls," "Angels We Have Heard on High," "Es ist ein Ros entsprungen" Theme music for program: * Chopin, Waltz in A-flat major, Op. 69, no. 1 and Waltz in B minor, Op. 69, no. 2 (performed by Olga Gurevich) Director / Organizer / Sound Editor: Mischa Hooker INFORMATION ON STORIES AND PLAYS REFERENCED BY DICKENS Dickens refers to many children's stories and plays in the course of his meditation, some still very familiar to young readers, others less familiar. Alphabet rhymes ("A Was an Archer") are still popular in easy readers; "Jack and the Beanstalk" and "Little Red Riding-Hood" are also very commonly read. Far less well known today are some of the plays Dickens mentions, such as "The Forest of Bondy, or Dog of Montargis"; or "The Tragedy of Jane Shore"; or "The History of George Barnwell." The internet provides immediate access to many of these historic works of children's literature, and it can especially be quite fun to see the old illustrations in the earlier editions even of familiar works. Apart from massive collections of scanned facsimiles offered by Google Books or the Internet Archive, one initiative to digitize and make available scans of numerous 18th- and 19th-century chapbooks is also worth pointing out: https://digital.library.mcgill.ca/chapbooks/index.php. We have gathered together a goodly collection of these old books mentioned by Dickens from these sources, in order to offer them for your interest in one spot. Warning! Looking into what another century considered good or appropriate is sometimes surprising or shocking — especially, adults should look over any such material before handing it over to children to read!
