Did you know that whatever fills your heart will eventually be manifested in your words? Jesus taught that when God’s Word fills us, His truth naturally flows from our mouths (Luke 6:45), whether in everyday conversations, discipleship, small groups, or even public messages. This morning, we will discover how The Ezra Experience culminates in communicating the word of God as a way of life.
Why are you here on this earth? This Sunday, discover from Ezra’s life why studying and living God’s Word is directly related to our purpose in life and how to make it part of your daily walk with God.
Recorded Sunday, August 10, 2025 at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Bangor, Wisconsin. "Like" us on Facebook!!
What do your daily patterns reveal about your heart? In every area of life, our habits reveal what we truly value, and nowhere is that more important than in our walk with God. Starting this Sunday, we will explore the life of Ezra and uncover how his intentional practices transformed his life and reshaped the spiritual direction of an entire nation, and how they can do the same for us.

HOW TO SET YOUR HEART TO UNDERSTAND I am often asked how to prepare for spiritual encounters, such as visitations from the Holy Spirit that include revelations from the scriptures, which often involve angelic interaction. It's not uncommon to hear people say Well, if it happens, it happens. It's all up to God. I understand the reasoning because of the overemphasis that often happens concerning the sovereignty of God. By that, I mean a teaching that puts everything in God's hands and nothing in yours. The Scriptures are filled with guidance on how to enter into His presence to find answers and gain understanding. Among those scriptures, you'll find instruction to seek the Lord both early and often. We're also instructed to pray with faith that he will answer us. Many of our spiritual heroes in the Scriptures fasted, which meant missing meals and waiting upon the Lord with anticipation that He would answer them. In the book of Daniel 10:12, it is mentioned that the prophet Daniel set himself aside so that he might understand and gain spiritual insight into what was happening around him. The angel that came with the answer told him that from the day you set your heart to understand, I heard your words, and I have come because of your words. If you long to go up into a higher spiritual realm, where you can hear and see with greater clarity than you set your heart to understand and choose your words that will bring the angelic answer. Pastor Darrell Jones discusses Psalm 91:14-15 this morning.“14 Because he has his heart set on me, I will deliver him; I will protect him because he knows my name. 15 When he calls out to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble.”
As we reflected on all that we've learned during our 3 part series (What is a Man? What is a Family? & What is Nation?), we could not help but celebrate the transformation brought about by our father as we have turned with all of our hearts to seek him. We marveled at the growth that has taken place in our lives as result of being challenged with our idolatrous views and re-imaging of God. As a result, we better are reflecting his full image more fervently and more accurately. And yet, there is so much still to learn about ALL of his ways and even more so in attempting to reflect ALL of his ways. This message from brothers Caleb Brown, Abimbola Daramola, and Justin Linton was a call to inspire us to rise up as a holy, anointed nation of priests and set our hearts to pursue all of God's character! He will meet us in this endeavor and strengthen his "Anointed Nation" of priest
