Friends of the Rosary,Today, September 15, the day after the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, we celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows. On the feast of the Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we have the opportunity to reflect on the importance of this feast for the Society of Saint Pius X. In union with Our Lord Jesus Christ, Who Our Lady brought into the world and stood with painfully at the Cross, Mary dedicated the whole of her life for the redemption of mankind. Her designated role in our salvation as Co-Redemptrix is particularly material when we consider the Society's mission of forming holy priests who stand in persona Christi to provide sacramental grace to the faithful.

 In the quiet of our hearts, we come to you, Our Lady of Sorrows, Mother of the Crucified, Mother of us all. O most Sorrowful Virgin Mary, you stood faithfully beside your Son, Pierced by seven swords of sorrow. You bore suffering with perfect love, And your heart became a mirror of His Passion. We turn to you now, Mother of Sorrows, Asking for the grace to suffer with hope, To love with courage, And to unite our wounds to yours. The Seven Sorrows of Mary: The Prophecy of Simeon – Joy and warning: “A sword will pierce your heart.” The Flight into Egypt – You fled in darkness, carrying the Light of the world. The Loss of the Child Jesus – Three days of searching, your heart aching with absence. Meeting Jesus on the Way to the Cross – You saw Him bloodied, burdened, yet loved without condemnation. Standing at the Foot of the Cross – You received His final breath with silent strength, becoming Mother of the Church. The Crucifixion and Descent – His lifeless body rested in your arms; your tears watered the seed of salvation. The Burial of Christ – Stone sealed the silence, yet you waited in hope, trusting God even in death. O Lady of Sorrows, Teach us to remain with Christ in suffering, To be brave in grief, And to believe in the promise of resurrection. Our Lady of Sorrows, pray for us. 

The Seven Sorrows of Mary Rosary is a devotional chaplet reflecting on Mary's deep sorrows, featuring a special rosary with seven sets of seven Hail Mary's, each set meditating on a sorrowful event in her life.

There is a great need for each of us to take the reality of spiritual warfare seriously as well as the weapons that God gives us to engage in this fight for our souls. One of the most powerful weapons we have is recourse to the intercession of the saints! Shockwaves have been felt throughout America and around the world with many of the changes being made by President Trump. Even some Catholic organizations in America are feeling it. We MUST NOT relax our prayer efforts! Exorcist Fr Chad Ripperger is reminding and asking all of us to step up our prayer, adoration, and more for the protection and guidance of President Trump and the rest of our government. Fr.
