WarRoom Battleground EP 805: BREAKING: Pope Leo Skeptic LifeSiteNews's CEO John-Henry Westen FIRED In Pro-Leo Boardroom Coup
Want to reach out to us? Want to leave a comment or review? Want to give us a suggestion or berate Anthony? Send us a text by clicking this link!Catholic media stands at a crossroads as John Henry Westen, co-founder and face of LifeSite News, has been removed from his position by a 5-4 board vote. This shocking development comes as the Catholic world adapts to the leadership of Pope Leo XIV, with LifeSite's board explicitly citing a desire to "chart a new course" following the papal transition. For traditionalist Catholics who relied on LifeSite as a faithful voice, this raises troubling questions about the future of orthodox Catholic journalism and whether critical perspectives will continue to have prominent platforms. The conversation turns to liturgical debates when Father Dwight Longenecker's tweet about pre-Vatican II Masses reignites familiar arguments between traditionalists and supporters of the Novus Ordo. His characterization of traditional Masses as priests "mumbling through Mass as quickly as possible while the faithful prayed the rosary" represents what many see as a standardized, possibly manufactured narrative about pre-conciliar worship. Critics note how these identical criticisms often come from those too young to remember, suggesting a kind of cultural programming rather than historical accuracy. A striking contrast emerges through a video of Andrea Bocelli performing sacred music in a church filled with people in beach attire – illustrating how liturgical form shapes behavior and reverence.Moving beyond church politics, the show addresses disturbing trends in modern parenting, particularly regarding teenage sexuality. While discussing an extreme (likely fabricated) example of a mother encouraging her 14-year-old daughter to become pregnant, the hosts confront the very real phenomenon of parents enabling teenage sexual activity through birth control and tacit approval. This abdication of moral guidance – often justified with "they're going to do it anyway" – reflects a profound failure to love children authentically by teaching them virtue and healthy boundaries. The conversation ultimately connects these symptoms to broader cultural erosion that signals the potential collapse of our current social order, drawing parallels to previous civilizational turning points. It's Monday, July 7, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Pakistani Christian girl, kidnapped for two years, escapes A Pakistani Christian girl, who this month escaped the Muslim who kidnapped her, said he forcibly converted her to Islam and repeatedly sexually assaulted her as his so-called “wife,” reports Morning Star News. On the night of May 24, 2023, as her family slept, 14-year-old Muskan Liaqat was kidnapped at gunpoint from her home in Sheikhupura District, by Muhammad Adnan and his father Muhammad Arif. Muskan said, “They took me to their home, where they tortured me and forcibly took my thumb impressions on some papers. I was later told that I had become a Muslim and Adnan was my husband.” A member of the Salvation Army church, Muskan said she was treated as a sex slave. She said, “I was raped and beaten by Adnan … on almost a daily basis. As a result of repeated sexual abuse, I got pregnant in 2024.” Severe torture by Adnan resulted in a miscarriage in the fourth month of her pregnancy. She said, “I used to cry all night and prayed to God to rescue me from this hell, but it looked like my prayers were not reaching Him.” The trauma led her to attempt suicide by cutting her wrist. Judges routinely ignore evidence related to the children's ages, handing them back to kidnappers as their “legal wives.” Thankfully, she got away and is now in a safe house. According to Open Doors, Pakistan, which is 96% Muslim, is the eighth most dangerous country worldwide for Christians. South Korean doctor charged with murder after full-term abortion On July 2nd, a South Korean doctor was arrested and charged with murder following the abortion of a full-term baby last year, reigniting national debate over the country's ambiguous abortion laws and medical ethics, reports LifeSiteNews.com. On June 28, Judge Park Jeong-ho of the Seoul Central District Court approved arrest warrants for the surgeon, identified as Shim, and the facility's director, “Yoon.” Authorities allege the child was born alive and then deliberately left to die, which they say amounts to murder through “willful neglect.” The case dates back to late 2024. Evidence suggests that the baby was alive both before and after the procedure. The abortion was allegedly committed via labor induction – a method that, if resulting in a live birth followed by intentional death, could meet the legal definition of murder under Korean law. The Korean Medical Association condemned the incident, stating: “A fetus at 36 weeks is a baby who could survive well if born, and terminating a pregnancy at this stage is tantamount to murder.” Psalm 139:13-14 says, “For You [God] created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” Trump's Big Beautiful Bill defunded Planned Parenthood Trump's “Big Beautiful Bill,” which he signed into law on Friday, July 4th, defunded Planned Parenthood for a year, reports LifeNews.com. The defunding provision, outlined in Section 44126 of the bill, effectively terminates Medicaid reimbursements to Planned Parenthood for non-abortion services, closing a loophole that has allowed the organization to access federal funds despite the Hyde Amendment's ban on direct taxpayer funding for abortions. Pro-life critics have argued that those Medicaid reimbursements indirectly paid for the abortion giant to kill more babies by abortion. It is the first time that the radical Planned Parenthood abortion business has been defunded. The vote, as we reported on Friday, was 218-214. The new law will redirect hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to community-based, pro-life healthcare providers and away from Planned Parenthood and Big Abortion. Planned Parenthood, which kills over 400,000 babies in abortions annually, received $700 million in taxpayer funds last fiscal year. Death toll in Texas flash floods climbs to 79, 40 remain missing At least 70 people are dead in central Texas after devastating flash floods slammed the Texas Hill Country, with water rescues taking place along the Guadalupe River, which rose rapidly early Friday morning to the height of a two-story building, reports CBS News. (Watch this video to see the rushing water in Center Point, Texas which tears down trees and threatens a bridge.) A dozen are still missing from Camp Mystic in Kerr County, a children's Christian summer camp. 13-year-old Stella Thompson, a camper who survived, talked with the Dallas NBC affiliate. THOMPSON: “You'd see kayaks in trees. It was horrific, because we had no idea. First responders in the water. There were huge trees ripped out of the ground.” Tragically, in a last act of kindness, Richard Eastland, the director of Camp Mystic, died trying to save campers as floodwaters from the Guadalupe River overwhelmed the camp, which is on the banks of the river, reports the San Antonio Express-News. More than 750 girls were at the camp when the flooding struck. The dead include 38 adults and 21 children, with 18 of the adults and four of the children unidentified. Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott spoke from the heart. ABBOTT: “When Texans face a challenge, we come together, we unite. We will be relentless in going after and ensuring that we locate every single person who's been a victim of this flooding event. We're not going to stop today or tomorrow. We will stop when the job is completed. This is a 24/7 operation, day and night. We will find every one of them.” Dear Lord, Help the First Responders rescue all of the remaining survivors of this horrific flood. Amen. You can help with a tax-deductible donation to Samaritan's Purse through a special link in our transcript today at www.TheWorldview.com. 22-year-old woman survives, carried 20 miles downstream One bright spot. A 22-year-old woman, who was carried by the raging waters 20 miles from Hunt, Texas to Center Point, survived as she clung to a tree. Carl, who lives along the Guadalupe River, explained what happened to KENS-TV 5. CARL: “True miracle. There's no other way to explain it. “I came up on the deck and she saw me. So, she started to scream out loud. I thought she was in the water going down the river. I finally looked and was able to spot her in the tree. I began to holler back to her. ‘Hey, I see you. We'll get you help. Hang on. Hang on.' Because she was desperate! “After they were able to pluck her out, we brought her into our house and gave her a shower, clothed her because it had stripped all of her clothing off, gave her something to drink, gave her a nap. We called her grandmother in Corpus.” Thankfully, she had no broken bones and only a small wound on the top of her head. Worldview listeners in Colorado and California speak out And finally, two Worldview listeners wrote me at Adam@TheWorldview.com to share what they enjoy about the newscast. Wes Anderson in Grand Junction, Colorado, wrote, “I try to read The Worldview in 5 Minutes transcript every day. I appreciate the Biblical perspective on the news! It's nice to have a news source I can trust!” And Pastor Aaron Hebbard of Remnant Church in Mentone, California, wrote, “Here's what I like: I love the snapshot of the big issues of the day without having to spend precious time chasing various stories. I treasure the news on the persecuted church; it prompts prayer on behalf of our global brothers and sisters, and sets the stage for the unfathomable things Christ will do with the precious blood of His saints. I appreciate the occasional call to activism, whether it's a phone call or email to a local politician, or support for a cause, or to join a prayer movement.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Monday, July 7th, in the year of our Lord 2025. It's Friday, July 4th, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Muslim mob disrupts Christian retreat in Indonesia On June 27, a mob of 200 Muslims stormed a Christian youth retreat at a home in Indonesia, driving out participants and damaging property, as police and soldiers looked on reports Morning Star News. Ironically, after praying at the mosque that Friday, they carried banners and shouted, “Destroy that house, destroy that house.” – referring to the home in Cidahu District in the West Java Province. They damaged windows, toilets, a gazebo, and garden. Claiming that a house should not be used as a place of worship, the Muslim mob also threw a motorbike into a nearby river and damaged the main gate. Videos circulating online show a man climbing a wall and removing a wooden cross attached to it, which he then uses to break a window. House sends Big Beautiful Bill to Trump's desk On July 3, the House of Representatives passed the One Big Beautiful Bill to implement President Donald Trump's agenda, sending it to the president's desk, reports The Epoch Times. The bill cleared the House in a 218–214 vote, following an all-night session as Republicans scrambled to win over holdouts who had derailed an earlier attempt to advance the 940-page measure. House Speaker Mike Johnson was exuberant. JOHNSON: “This is the vote tally card. We're gonna frame this one. Okay? 218-214.” The vote also came after Democratic Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries held the floor — for what C-SPAN confirmed was a new length record — to lambast the bill for more than eight hours. The only two Republicans who voted against it were Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky and Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania, alongside the entire House Democratic Caucus. House Speaker Johnson said the Republicans knew they had to get Trump's bill passed in light of the gift of unified government. JOHNSON: “We believed in the election cycle last fall that we were going to be given this great blessing of unified government, that we would have the White House and the Senate and the House aligned -- unified government. “We had a tough four years before this last election cycle. America was in, we were in deep trouble. We knew that if we won, and we believed we would, we knew that if we got unified government, we'd have to quite literally fix every area of public policy. Everything was an absolute disaster under the Biden-Harris radical, woke, progressive Democrat regime.” The legislation enacts many of Trump's domestic policy initiatives, including tax cuts as well as boosting spending for the border and defense. The passage marks a major victory for Republican leadership and Trump, who had to contend with a diverse group of holdouts who objected to the Senate's version of the bill for various reasons, including its effect on the deficit and deeper cuts to Medicaid. House Speaker Johnson, an Evangelical Christian, expressed his gratitude to God. JOHNSON: “We took the best effort that we could, in One Big, Beautiful Bill, to fix as much of it as we could. And I am so grateful to God that we got that done as we did. “I do believe in God. I believe in that motto that is what has made our nation the greatest in the history of the world. And some people shake their heads and they think that's old fashioned or something. That is a fact. “When the framers put this together. They stepped out in faith. They did something that no nation had ever done before. The great statesman, philosopher G.K. Chesterton of Great Britain, said, ‘America is the only nation in the world that was founded upon a creed. And he said it's listed with almost theological lucidity [or clarity] in the nation's birth certificate: the Declaration of Independence.' “We hold these truths to be self-evident. We recognize, we boldly proclaim the self-evident truth that her rights do not come from the government. They come from God Himself.” Psalm 9:1 says, “I will give thanks to You, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all Your wonderful deeds.” The bill will head to Trump's desk ahead of a self-imposed July 4 deadline. He is expected to sign it at 5 p.m. ET today. 4 killed and 14 wounded in Chicago drive-by at rapper party On Wednesday night, four people died from gunshot wounds and 14 others were hospitalized following a drive-by shooting in Chicago, reports The Associated Press. At least three were in critical condition. Three shooters fired out of the SUV before they drove away. No suspect is in custody. Pastor Donovan Price talked to Channel 8 News. PRICE: “An SUV pulls up and just opens fire on a crowd of people. It was absolute chaos, from people screaming to blood on the streets to people laying on the streets. Just a massive police presence. Horrific. More than I've ever seen.” The shooting took place in Chicago's River North neighborhood, a popular nightlife destination with many restaurants and bars. It was outside a restaurant and lounge that hosted an album release party for a profane rapper named Mello Buckzz, whose actual name is Melanie Doyle. Hip hop lyrics are filled with calls to violence. Ironically, her boyfriend was one of those shot. Thirteen women and five men, ranging in age from 21 to 32, were shot. The dead included two men and two women. On his X account, Pastor Price wrote, “Just sitting in my car crying for some of the people I held tonight.” Psalm 11:5 says, “The LORD examines the righteous, but the wicked, those who love violence, He hates with a passion.” Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson said that the violence “has left our city in a state of grief.” RFK Jr. cites link between Hepatitis vaccine and autism Appearing on Tucker Carlson's podcast, Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. talked about the link between the Hepatitis vaccine for babies and autism, reports LifeSiteNews.com. He referenced a Centers for Disease Control study that was buried. KENNEDY: “They looked at children who had received the hepatitis vaccine within their first 30 days of life, and compared those children to a children who had received the vaccine later or not at all, and they found a 1,135% elevated risk of autism among the vaccinated children. It shocked them. They kept the study secret, and they manipulated it through five different iterations to try to bury the link.” Secretary Kennedy also referenced 100 other studies and the new studies at the Health and Human Services Department which will be completed by September. KENNEDY: “The external literature is showing over 100 studies that indicate that there is a link. “But we're going to do real science. The way that we're going to do that is we're going to make the databases public for the first time. We have already put out grant requests. Any scientists with credentials can apply for a grant and tell us how they want to go about studying these. We're going to get real studies done for the first time.” (You can watch the entire 90-minute interview on a variety of topics here) Worldview listeners in Nicaragua and Mexico speak up And finally, Bob Kelly wrote me at Adam@TheWorldview.com. He said, “Hello from rural Nicaragua [in Central America,] the 30th most difficult country worldwide to be a Christian, [according to Open Doors.] We like your emphasis on our brothers and sisters who are suffering for Christ.” And Hannah Van Kirk in Mexico said, “My three kids -- Tessa, Reese, and Lincoln -- and I have been listening to The Worldview for a year. We include it as part of our homeschool day. We enjoy the update and prayer reports about the persecuted Christians. And we appreciate that you occasionally suggest that we send get well cards to Christian leaders who are sick or cards of encouragement to others who are standing up against the world. We also enjoy the uplifting stories.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Friday, July 4th, in the year of our Lord 2025. With clarity and conviction, Mother Miriam delivers a bold and tender call to return to the one Church Christ founded, explaining why the Catholic Church alone holds the fullness of truth, sacramental grace, and the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. Speaking to Protestants, fallen-away Catholics, and those tempted by “church-hopping,” Mother warns against choosing comfort over obedience, and urges trust in God's authority, not personal preference. This is a heartfelt invitation to come home, embrace truth, and walk the path that leads to eternal life.U.S. residents! Mother Miriam explores the unique honor the Church gives to the birth of St. John the Baptist, Christ's forerunner and model of penitential holiness. She contrasts his life of self-denial with today's culture of indulgence, urging gratitude for the grace of baptism. Responding to a listener's email, she also dives into a candid discussion on the charismatic movement, weighing the gift of tongues, “baptism in the spirit,” and warnings from Bishop Athanasius Schneider and Fr. Mother Miriam calls to restore the Catholic family by reclaiming the sacred role of fatherhood, drawing from papal teaching and Catholic tradition as she urges men to lead their homes with prayer, authority, and sacrificial love rather than passing off that duty to schools or culture. She also confronts the silence of Church leaders amid rising heresy, grieves over Israel's military descent, and condemns assisted suicide as a grave offense against God's design. It's Monday, June 23rd, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Christian persecution pervades Christian-majority nations in Africa & Latin America Many Christians across Africa and Latin America continue to suffer for their faith because of Islamic oppression, dictatorial paranoia, and criminal cartel organizations, reports International Christian Concern. Large populations in Cuba, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Mexico, Mozambique, Nicaragua, and Nigeria are predominantly Christian. Yet, many Christ followers in these nations are often brutally attacked for following Christ, and their governments are failing to protect them. In Congo, Christians represent 95% of the nation's population, yet they are being slaughtered at alarming rates. Much of the killing is being done by Islamist groups like ISIS-DRC, also known as the Allied Democratic Forces. Likewise, in Mozambique, 62% of the population is composed of Christians, yet Islamic extremists still target them for their faith. According to Open Doors, these extremists have “target[ed] Christian places of worship, abducted religious leaders, and killed numerous believers.” And in Cuba, the Catholic Church estimates that 60% of the population practices Catholicism. Cuban churches that publicly oppose the government's human rights abuses are targeted by authorities for harassment and intimidation. British House of Commons passes dangerous bill legalizing assisted suicide Members of the British House of Commons voted Friday to pass a dangerous bill to legalize assisted suicide, reports LifeNews.com. In a vote of 314 to 291, Members of Parliament put their stamp of approval on the bill that will likely result in pressuring disabled and elderly people to kill themselves. Isaiah 59:7 says, “Their feet rush into sin; they are swift to shed innocent blood. They pursue evil schemes; acts of violence mark their ways.” Tim Dieppe, Head of Policy at Christian Concern, was outraged. DIEPPE: “Once you legalize assisted suicide, you will put pressure on vulnerable people. Vulnerable people will feel like they're a burden to others. People will be suggesting assisted suicide. Doctors could suggest it. I mean, that's horrific. You know, my wife died of cancer three years ago. I can't imagine what it would be like if her consultant had suggested suicide.” Labour legislator Diane Abbott said she's concerned that for-profit companies will run assisted dying businesses that take advantage of killing people for money. Members of Parliament had only 10 hours to consider over 130 amendments to the bill, or less than 5 minutes per change. America bombed Iran's nuclear facilities On Saturday, the U.S. military bombed three sites in Iran, directly joining Israel's effort to decapitate the country's nuclear program in a risky gambit to weaken a longtime foe amid Tehran's threat of reprisals that could spark a wider regional conflict, reports the Associated Press. TRUMP: “A short time ago, the US military carried out massive precision strikes on the three key nuclear facilities in the Iranian regime: Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. Everybody heard those names for years as they built this horribly destructive enterprise. Our objective was the destruction of Iran's nuclear enrichment capacity and a stop to the nuclear threat posed by the world's number one state sponsor of terror. “Tonight, I can report to the world that the strikes were a spectacular military success. Iran's key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated. Iran, the bully of the Middle East, must now make peace. If they do not, future attacks will be far greater and a lot easier. For 40 years, Iran has been saying, ‘Death to America, Death to Israel.'” The decision to directly involve the U.S. in the war comes after more than a week of strikes by Israel on Iran that aimed to systematically eradicate the country's air defenses and offensive missile capabilities, while damaging its nuclear enrichment facilities. TRUMP: “I want to thank and congratulate [Israeli] Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu. We worked as a team like perhaps no team has ever worked before, and we've gone a long way to erasing this horrible threat to Israel. I want to thank the Israeli military for the wonderful job they've done. And most importantly, I want to congratulate the great American patriots who flew those magnificent machines tonight and all of the United States military on an operation the likes of which the world has not seen in many, many decades.” (Learn more about the timeline that led up to America's bombing of Iran's nuclear facilities.) Iran threatens to block Strait of Hormuz, blocking 20% of oil shipments In response, Iran is reportedly saying it will block the Strait of Hormuz and stop oil shipments for what amounts to 20% of the world's daily oil flow and up to $1 billion, which will send oil prices soaring globally, reports NewsMax. Needless to say, Iran has no legal authority to block traffic through Hormuz, and blockage would mean direct combat with U.S. naval assets, including the U.S. Fifth Fleet warships patrolling the region. Dear Lord, We pray for peace. Amen. The 30,000-pound bunker bomb that made the difference In a post on TruthSocial, Trump said, “There is not another military in the world that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE!” Indeed, America's 30,000-pound bunker buster bomb offered the best chance of destroying heavily fortified sites connected to the Iranian nuclear program buried deep underground. Appearing on ABC News, Retired Lt. General Doug Lute explained. LUTE: “The original purpose of building this bomb was actually concern about the North Korean deeply buried nuclear related sites. So, this didn't originally have anything to do with Iran. But most recently, it's the only bomb in our inventory, or frankly, in the global inventory, that promises some prospect of actually penetrating the mountainside in which the crown jewel of the Iranian nuclear program, the Fordow site, is located. So, this is our best technological advantage in terms of trying to get to that site.” 90% of Trump Republicans say “Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon” Appearing on Fox News Channel with Dana Perino, Chris Stirewalt summarized Trump's mindset about Iran. STIREWALT: “I think that Donald Trump has never wavered from the ultimate objective, which is that the Iranian nuclear program has to end. It has to be dismantled. It has to be destroyed. The only question has been whether it's done militarily or whether it's done voluntarily. “He gave them a 60-day deadline. They let the deadline pass, and so Israel began bombing on Day 61 and now he is basically holding out. ‘This is your last chance. The time for negotiation is over. There's not going to be any kind of deal.' “This is a question of whether Iran cries ‘amo,' which is Persian for ‘uncle,' and allows U.S. to come in and blow up Fordow from the inside, or we do it from without, from the skies above, with B2 bombers. But I think there is zero chance that the Fordow nuclear facility survives this encounter.” Stirewalt asserted that the Make America Great Again crowd is supportive of Trump's decision to bomb Iran. STIREWALT: “The idea that there's a schism in the Republican Party, or that the Trump Coalition is breaking up is completely absurd. The Reagan Institute is coming out with a new poll this weekend. 90% of self-described [Make America Great Again] Republicans say Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. 80% say that Israel's security is vital to our security. 64% support Israel bombing the nuclear facilities. There is absolutely no daylight between Donald Trump and the [Make America Great Again] movement. The MAGA movement is absolutely behind Donald Trump in getting rid of this nuclear program.” On Truth Social, President Trump posted, “I gave Iran chance after chance to make a deal.” He concluded, “This is an historic moment for the United States of America, Israel, and the world. Iran must now agree to end this war.” Texas answers “What is a Woman?” in state law Last Friday, Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott signed into law the “What is a Woman Bill” also known as House Bill 229, reports Texas Values. Now, in Texas, men can no longer pretend to be women. The law accurately defines the terms “man”, “woman”, “boy”, and “girl” by scientific definitions and biological reality. The effect would be that biological women will have their rights, opportunities, and privacy protected by law. Genesis 1:27 states, “So God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God He created them; male and female He created them.” While Texas already has laws protecting women's sports, there have been many other threats to women's prisons, sororities, and private spaces like locker rooms. Hockey player gives glory to God after winning Stanley Cup The Russian-born goaltender of the National Hockey League's Florida Panthers, Sergei Bobrovsky, gave glory to God upon his victory after his team won the famed Stanley Cup, the championship trophy in the NHL, for the second year in a row, reports LifeSiteNews.com. REPORTER: “What makes this one special?” BOBROVSKY: “I mean, it's amazing feeling, and I want to say glory to the father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. I want to thank him for everything I have, for my parents, for my family.” Worldview listener in California is grateful the whole family can listen I invited Worldview listeners to share what they enjoy about the newscast in 2-6 sentences by email. Mother Miriam offers a passionate catechesis on the Holy Trinity, reading the full Athanasian Creed and explaining why belief in the Trinity is essential for salvation. Drawing on Saint Augustine and the Hebrew Scriptures, she reveals how God's triune nature is eternal and not a New Testament invention. She then answers listener questions about family estrangement, fallen-away children, and the painful work of forgiveness. She rejects feel-good relativism and reminds Catholics that real absolution demands repentance—and that loving the people closest to us sometimes means saying hard truths.U.S. residents! John-Henry Westen shares a moment of personal failure, where he pretended to remember someone's name out of pride, and uses it to confront a deeper spiritual danger: the fear of human respect. This subtle yet powerful temptation keeps many Catholics from speaking the truth, defending the faith, or even praying publicly. He reflects on how vanity, shame, and the desire for approval can silence our witness to Christ, drawing on examples from saints, Scripture, and a pro-life leader who once chose abortion not out of desperation, but to avoid judgment. The call is clear: reject cowardice, embrace humility, and stand firm in faith, no matter the cost.U.S. residents! Veteran pro-family advocate Peter LaBarbera sits down with John-Henry Westen to mark a sobering anniversary: 10 years since the Obergefell decision redefined marriage in America. LaBarbera lays out the cultural and spiritual fallout, from the normalization of gay parenting to the rise of transgender ideology and the marginalization of Christian truth. He exposes the hidden history of early LGBT activism, including disturbing links to pro-pederasty groups like NAMBLA, and challenges Christians to face hard truths the world wants erased. With clarity and conviction, he and Westen urge Catholics to speak with courage and love in a culture that now brands truth as hate.U.S. residents! Retired Colonel Douglas Macgregor delivers a blunt assessment: the war in Ukraine is over, and Russia has won. He claims over 1.5 million Ukrainian casualties, rampant corruption, and U.S. weapons ending up on black markets and even into the hands of cartels. Macgregor calls ongoing Western aid a deadly delusion meant to sustain PR, not peace. Turning to the Middle East, he warns that Netanyahu's ambitions and U.S. backing could ignite a regional war with global consequences. He criticizes Trump's foreign policy failures and urges Americans to reject lobby-driven conflict and demand a return to justice, truth, and peace.U.S. residents! Peter LaBarbera is the founder and president of Center for Morality and Americans for Truth. He's a former reporter for the Washington Times, LifeSiteNews.com, WND.com and a former contributing editor for Human Events. Interestingly, some are turning away from the moniker of June as "Pride Month" and instead, some are pushing "Fidelity Month," "Life Month," as well as "Family Month." Peter believes this is happening because the homosexual activist movement won numerous victories, including imposing so-called, same-sex marriage on America. Then they went "full-bore" on the trans issue. This invited considerable push-back, including from the feminists who didn't want men invading female spaces such as sports. Then there was the gender reassignment surgeries for children. The result is that they've reached so far that they've hit a breaking point as all of this is turning a lot of people off. Nonetheless, the homosexual activist movement continues to make headlines in various ways. For example: A Navy ship named after a gay rights icon is to be renamed. A girls high school softball team wins a championship via the arm of a male born pitcher. The American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) doubles down on their pro LGBTQ stance. Get the details on these news items and more including what's up with Target stores, Sesame Street and dangerous libraries. Listeners were part of the conversation as well, so don't forget to review this edition of Crosstalk.

Daniel Potvin is a former lumberjack turned Catholic warrior, whose conversion through suffering, Medjugorje, and the sacraments led him to found the Knights of Saint John Paul II: a bold, grassroots movement of lay Catholic men now active in 15 countries. Potvin shares his raw, inspiring story of healing, spiritual warfare, and masculine devotion rooted in the rosary, confession, Scripture, and Eucharistic adoration. It's Friday, June 6th, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Nigerian Muslims killed 9 Christians On June 1st and 2nd, Fulani Muslim herdsmen killed at least nine Christians in Plateau State, Nigeria, following the slaughter of 27 others days before, reports Morning Star News. The attacks took place in Bokkos County in predominantly Christian communities. Emmanuel Auta, a local resident, said, “Christians [are] being butchered.” Another resident, Lilian Madaki, said, “Among some of the Christian victims that I know is a 14-year-old Christian teenager who was shot and wounded and is currently being treated at a hospital.” And, in a text to Christian Daily International, Yakubu Kefas wrote, “The attackers, who we believe are Fulani terrorists, are carrying out indiscriminate shootings, killings, and large-scale arson, resulting in widespread terror, Christian casualties, and destruction of property.” Please pray for our suffering brothers and sisters in Christ in Plateau State, Nigeria. Proverbs 21:15 says, “When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers.” Trump bans new visas for foreign nationals from 12 countries On June 4, President Donald Trump issued a full suspension on new visas for foreign nationals from a dozen countries applying for entry to the United States and a partial suspension on nationals from another seven, reports TheEpochTimes.com. The proclamation is set to go into effect at 12:01 a.m. ET on June 9. A full suspension will go into effect for nationals from Afghanistan, Burma, Chad, the Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen. A partial suspension will affect nationals from Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan, and Venezuela. This executive action comes after the Secretary of State and assistant to the president on Homeland Security filed a report on April 9 identifying countries with such deficient vetting and screening information that a full or partial suspension of entry for their nationals was warranted. ‘60 Minutes' anchor Scott Pelley ripped for "angry, unhinged" speech criticizing Trump Outraged critics blasted longtime CBS “60 Minutes” anchor Scott Pelley as “angry” and “unhinged” after he delivered a fear-baced tirade against President Donald Trump during a commencement speech in North Carolina, reports the New York Post. The CBS newscaster warned Wake Forest University's graduating class on May 19 that “insidious fear” has infiltrated schools, businesses, and homes across the nation — leaving America in a state of “peril.” Listen. PELLEY: “In this moment, our sacred rule of law is under attack. Journalism is under attack. Universities are under attack. Freedom of speech is under attack, and insidious fear is reaching through our schools, our businesses, our homes.” Scott Jennings, the conservative commentator on CNN, called Pelley out for such a ridiculous statement. JENNINGS: “On the free speech issue, I don't know what America Scott Pelley is living in. We have more speech now than ever. There is no problem with free speech in America. What we do have a problem with are people who don't speak truthfully, who are interested more in narratives than truth, and who are using what used to be journalism for activism. We do have a problem with that.” Jennings asserted that 60 Minutes on CBS is a platform that is more interested in a leftist narrative than the truth. JENNINGS: “If you've watched 60 Minutes for five minutes over the last several years, you would know it's not fair. This is one of the shows, this is one of the outlets that conservatives would point to most often to say: ‘This is the state of American journalism. It's only here to try to hurt Republicans, hurt conservatives, hurt Donald Trump.'” Painting of Jesus returned to prominent location at naval academy U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy has announced that he is restoring an historic painting of Jesus Christ to its place of prominence at the Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, New York, after it had been taken down by Biden-era officials, reports LifeSiteNews.com. Known as “Christ on the water,” the painting depicts Jesus walking on the water in stormy seas toward merchant seamen adrift in a lifeboat, presumably after being torpedoed. DUFFY: “We are moving Jesus out of the basement. To all the great midshipmen at the Merchant Marine Academy, you let me know how important this painting was to all of you. Now, we all know it was taken out of a place of prominence and put it down in the basement. “I worked with the Academy, and because this is such a historic painting, I'm announcing that through that work with the Academy, this painting is going to go from the basement back to its place of prominence. It'll be a moment to celebrate.” It was painted by Lieutenant Hunter Wood in 1944 as a tribute to all merchant seamen who had been torpedoed during World War II. Actor Kevin Sorbo champions U.S. Christian heritage in new movie In the new docudrama called The American Miracle, historian Paul Kengor, one of 14 historians, captures how pivotal the Declaration of Independence and the subsequent American Revolution was for the world. KENGOR: “America in 1776: This is a watershed event in history. If you were to pick something over the last 450 years, four and a half centuries or so, that truly transformed humanity and the full scope of history, it was 1776.” The American Miracle movie will hit 1,000 screens across America on three days only – Monday, June 9th, Tuesday, June 10th, and Wednesday, June 11th. The actor who plays Benjamin Franklin – Barry Stevens -- is spot on in terms of appearance and disposition alike. FRANKLIN: “We have been assured, sir, in the sacred writings, that except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it.” Kevin Sorbo, who portrays the younger Thomas Jefferson, is an enthusiastic advocate that Americans know their own history. SORBO: “I think there's not enough history being taught in America anymore. I think people forget about what our Founding Fathers did for this country. Documentaries like this, I think, can help heal a nation, as corny as that sounds. I really do think it's important to learn history.” And Pastor Darnell Harper of New Covenant Temple, who screened The American Miracle before its June 9th national release, was amazed to witness God's divine intervention in America. HARPER: “I went to history class. I did not learn that God was in the middle of everything that was going on with the birth of our nation, the Constitution, and it just showed the handiwork of God and how God was establishing the United States of America.” Acts 17:26 says, “From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole Earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands.” Go to https://americanmiraclemovie.com/, watch the trailer, click on the Tickets tab, and type in your zipcode to purchase tickets at a movie theater near you to see it on June 9, 10 or 11. Mother Miriam reflects on the mystery of Christ's Ascension and what it means for Catholics today, speaking with conviction about the need to reclaim the beauty and meaning of this feast, not just liturgically, but in how we live our faith. At the same time, she makes a heartfelt appeal to help keep the Station of the Cross on the air, as it faces a serious financial shortfall. With passion and urgency, she reads letters from listeners searching for truth, including a Muslim man drawn to the Church and a Protestant wrestling with baptism. Mother Miriam reminds us that eternity is real, souls are hungry, and now is the time to act with love, sacrifice, and unshakable faith.U.S. residents! With the Latin Mass on the rise across the world, what's next? Kennedy Hall talks about the growing influence of the SSPX, which now serves nearly a million faithful but faces a serious challenge with only two active bishops. Hall explains why new consecrations are likely, and why Pope Leo XIV may want to avoid a repeat of the 1988 fallout. They also talk about the deeper roots of the Church's, focusing on how modernist thinking has shaped theology for decades, even among leaders often viewed as conservative. Mother Miriam delivers a powerful reflection on Christ's return to the Father as the Church prepares for the Feast of the Ascension, urging Catholics to rediscover the beauty of salvation history and the treasures of the liturgical calendar. Drawing from Dom Guéranger, she invites listeners into the hearts of the disciples and Our Lady at that sacred moment, while warning against the spiritual cost of watering down holy days. She pleads for urgent support to save the Station of the Cross Catholic Radio Network, one of the few media voices still proclaiming the truth without compromise. Mother Miriam speaks directly to Catholic women, urging them to reject the lies of feminism and embrace the sacred vocation of motherhood. “The family is God's idea,” she declares. Motherhood is rooted not in the world's values but in divine truth. Drawing from Scripture, tradition, and the example of Our Lady, she reminds mothers that no career or title can rival the eternal dignity of forming souls for heaven. With clarity and love, she calls women to reclaim their role as the heart of the home and spiritual leaders in a culture that desperately needs them.1U.S. residents! Dr. Craig Turczynski, a former IVF lab director, once immersed in embryo transfers and lab culture, reveals the moment his conscience, and his Catholic faith, forced him to walk away. “I let those embryos die in culture,” he confesses, exposing the moral and medical compromises he witnessed firsthand. From the overlooked risks to mothers and children, to the financial incentives that drive IVF clinics, Craig lays bare a system he now believes is broken. John-Henry Westen and Anthony Abbate of Avoiding Babylon open up about the spiritual exhaustion left in the wake of the Francis era, years marked by confusion, division, and deep wounds among faithful Catholics. Now, with Pope Leo XIV beginning his pontificate, they explore whether this could be the start of true healing. While ambiguity remains, early signs offer hope. The conversation turns toward unity, trust, and the need to read the pope's actions with both charity and clarity. Fr. Francesco Giordano explains to John-Henry Westen the five essential traits the Church needs in its next Holy Father: integrity, freedom, faith, fatherhood, and wisdom. As the conclave approached, Fr. Giordano emphasized the spiritual battle behind the scenes and warned against factionalism within the Church. He calls for a pope who will unite, not divide, a shepherd grounded in tradition and unshaken by modern pressures. It's Friday, May 16th, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 125 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Nigerian Muslims kill 2 Christian teachers Boko Haram Muslim terrorists recently targeted Christians traveling near a Nigerian army base along the deadly Damboa–Maiduguri highway, reports International Christian Concern. On May 12th, two Christian teachers were killed and several others were injured when their vehicle struck an improvised explosive device allegedly planted by the Islamic terror group. Blessing Luka and Gideon Bitterleaf were both devoted Christian educators with the Damboa Local Education Authority. Pray that these Muslim murderers will be held accountable. Genesis 9:6 says, "Whoever sheds human blood, by humans shall their blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made mankind." More children in United Kingdom have gender dysphoria Soaring numbers of children in England and Wales are waiting for specialist gender care from the National Health Service -- as youngsters of any age are now eligible for referral after the health service “caved to the pressure” of transgender activists to remove age limits, reports The Daily Mail and World Magazine. Average waiting times have grown to more than two years for a confused child to get a first appointment at a specialist health service clinic, with 157 of those aged under ten. There were 6,225 confused kids on the national waiting list at the end of March. That's up 12 per cent from the same point a year earlier. Young children believed to have gender dysphoria are generally given counselling and therapy with their family, but thankfully no longer prescribed hormone treatments. Indeed, Britain's National Health Service has moved away from a “medical model” in favor of a “holistic” approach to children's gender care, as per recommendations from the Cass Review. Puberty blockers are no longer prescribed to children for the treatment of gender dysphoria, after a ban last year was made permanent in December. Former FBI Director calls for Trump's assassination Former FBI Director James Comey is facing massive backlash after he posted a photo on his Instagram page calling for the assassination of President Donald Trump, reports Christian Talk show host Todd Starnes. An image of seashells that had been arranged on the beach to spell “86 47” was posted on Comey's personal Instagram account. The number “86” is code for killing someone. And, of course, “47” refers to the fact that Donald Trump is the 47th president of the United States. Comey wrote, “Cool shell formation on my beach walk.” Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem tweeted, “Disgraced former FBI Director James Comey just called for the assassination of President Trump. [the Department of Homeland Security] and Secret Service is investigating this threat and will respond appropriately.” And Republican Senator Tommy Tuberville of Alabama tweeted, “This is a direct THREAT against President Trump, who has already survived two assassination attempts. BEYOND despicable. James Comey MUST face consequences.” RFK Jr. agrees to examine the dangers of Abortion Kill Pill A recent study by the Ethics and Public Policy Center on the Abortion Kill Pill, mifepristone, showed that 11% of women experience adverse effects serious enough to send them to the Emergency Room. That's 22 times higher than what the Food and Drug Administration claims. Appearing before the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee on May 15th, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. agreed to a comprehensive review and relabeling of Mifepristone in response to a pointed question from Republican Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri, reports The Guardian. Listen. HAWLEY: “There's been a major study by the Ethics and Public Policy Center of 865,727 prescribed cases of mifepristone abortions, chemical abortions, between 2017 and 2023. This data shows the biggest study on mifepristone done, I think, ever, and it showed that nearly 11% of women experience very serious adverse health effects to include sepsis, hemorrhaging, infection, of course, emergency room visits. That rate is 22 times higher than the FDA's current label which says it's just 0.5 the incidence of serious adverse health events. “So, my question to you is this: You previously testified at the committee that you would do a top-to-bottom review of mifepristone. Do you continue to stand by that? And don't you think that this new data shows the need to do a review is, in fact, very pressing?” KENNEDY: “It's alarming, and clearly it indicates that, at very least, the label should be changed. I've asked Marty Makary, who's the director of FDA, to do a complete review and to report back.” HAWLEY: “Good!” South Carolina Supreme Court affirms Heartbeat Law The South Carolina Supreme Court ruled that the state may enforce its heartbeat-based abortion ban, rejecting an argument by Planned Parenthood to weaken the law, reports LifeSiteNews.com. Enacted in 2023, the law effectively bans most abortions after about six weeks gestation. South Carolina Republican Governor Henry McMaster told the Daily Wire, “Time and time again, we have defended the right to life in South Carolina, and time and time again, we have prevailed. Today's ruling is another clear and decisive victory that will ensure the lives of countless unborn children remain protected and that South Carolina continues to lead the charge in defending the sanctity of life.” Psalm 127:3 says, "Children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward." Christian band under fire by atheists and superintendent And finally, a popular Christian band is under fire from atheists along with Davidson County Schools in North Carolina, reports Blue Ridge Broadcasting. The 3 Heath Brothers band had been invited to host an anti-bullying event at Hasty Elementary School. Their performance included a number of songs that mentioned God. Afterwards, they gave the kids a devotional pamphlet that included Bible verses. The Freedom From Religion Foundation was enraged over the performance and accused the school of being a recruiting ground for Christianity. The God-hating attorney, Madeline Ziegler, wrote, “The district cannot allow non-school persons to treat schools as a recruiting ground for their religious mission. Public schools are not an appropriate place for outside adults to convince students to convert to Christianity.” Sadly, the School Superintendent Gregg Slate was just as horrified with the Christian band and wrote a lengthy letter of apology to the atheists. But then, the school district went a step further. They had the audacity to demand that the 3 Heath Brothers remove video of the event from their social media pages. A bizarre request indeed. School officials claim they were duped. But Nicholas Heath of the 3 Heath Brothers denied that there was any proselytizing or worship service at the event. Mother Miriam reflects on the joy of the Resurrection during Pascale time and its connection to the life of the Catholic family. Drawing from Bishop Fulton Sheen's Three to Get Married, she explores how the Holy Trinity is at the heart of every marriage. John-Henry Westen and Michael Matt reflect on the historic election of Pope Leo XIV and the signs that may point to renewal. From the offering of the Latin Mass above Pope Francis's tomb to encouraging reports from Rome, they explore whether this new pontificate could open the door to healing and dialogue with faithful Catholics. While acknowledging the wounds left by the Francis era, especially the suppression of tradition, they urge the faithful not to despair. Instead, they call for prayerful vigilance, trust in God's timing, and confidence that the Church remains in Christ's hands.U.S. residents! It's Friday, May 9th, A.D. 2025. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 125 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Second anniversary of brutal violence in India Christians of Manipur State, India marked the second anniversary of the brutal ethnic violence that erupted on May 3, 2023, reports International Christian Concern. Shockingly, 258 people were killed, 1,000 injured, and 60,000 people were displaced. Plus, 4,786 houses were burnt and 386 religious structures were vandalized, including temples and churches. India is the 11th most dangerous country worldwide in which to be a Christian. Cardinals selected first American Pope On the fourth vote, the College of Cardinals, referred to as the Papal Conclave, chose the first-ever American Pope. Robert Prevost has taken the name of Pope Leo XIV, reports LifeSiteNews.com. Born in Chicago, educated at Villanova University, and a missionary to Peru, Prevost selected the name Leo for a reason. On ABC News, Catholic Pastor James Martin said this. MARTIN: “Historically, it's a name that would signal his alignment with workers, labor, and the poor.” Catholics claim that Peter, the fisherman disciple of Jesus, was the first pope. In fact, Scripture does not teach that Peter was in authority over the other apostles at all or over the church. Indeed, Ephesians 2:19 says, “So then, you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God.” Catholics also claim that the pope is infallible when he acts or speaks as Christ's representative on Earth. That assertion is not Scripturally supported either. Pope critical of Trump/Vance, pushed COVID vaccine, & removed conservative bishops In terms of positions on the issues, Prevost has been a vocal critic of President Donald Trump's administration and has consistently used his X account to promote material hostile to Trump's immigration policies. In one instance from February 3, Prevost reposted an article by the National Catholic Reporter entitled “JD Vance is wrong: Jesus doesn't ask us to rank our love for others.” The article criticizes the U.S. vice president for correctly arguing that we owe more immediate responsibility to our own family members and country than to those overseas – a position taught by St. Thomas Aquinas – and reiterated in the “social encyclicals” of the nineteenth- and twentieth-century popes. As head of the Congregation for Bishops, Prevost was instrumental in the removal of conservative Bishop Joseph Strickland in 2023 from Tyler, Texas, and the removal of the leading French conservative bishop, Dominique Rey, from his diocese of Fréjus-Toulon. Prevost also reposted a call for the abortion-tainted COVID-19 vaccines to be “available for all” and a United States Conference of Catholic Bishops post that called getting vaccinated “an act of love.” In 2012, a year before the election of Pope Francis, Cardinal Prevost expressed disappointment that some Western media held “sympathy for beliefs and practices that are at odds with the Gospel,” in particular, the “homosexual lifestyle” and “alternative families comprised of same-sex partners and their adopted children.” Trump's trade deal with U.K. nets U.S. $5 billion opportunity On Thursday, President Trump and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced they had reached a trade agreement that lifted some — but not all — U.S. tariffs on British goods, reports National Public Radio. Trump said it would give U.S. companies better market access for beef, ethanol, other farm products, chemicals, machinery, and industrial products — new opportunities his administration said were worth $5 billion. 2nd largest automaker making splash in America Speaking of the positive impact of Trump's tariffs, Volkswagen Group, the second largest automaker in the world in 2024, is preparing to join the growing list of automakers looking to re-equip its US factories in response to the tariffs, reports The Daily Mail. The German automaker's luxury brand, Audi — which assembles most of its lineup in its home country, Hungary, Mexico, Slovakia, Spain, and China — is planning to make some of its crossover and SUV models now in America. ‘Frasier' star Kelsey Grammer regrets ex-girlfriend's abortion Frasier star Kelsey Grammer opened up about his profound regret over his ex-girlfriend's abortion in his newly released memoir, reports People Magazine. This tragedy closely preceded another in the actor's life: the 1975 rape and murder of his younger sister, which is the main subject of his memoir Karen: A Brother Remembers. In his new book, Grammer wrote, “I know that many people do not have a problem with abortion, and though I have supported it in the past, the abortion of my son eats away at my soul.” Just months before his sister's death, he explains that his then-girlfriend became pregnant and decided to abort their baby. While he said he was “willing” to keep the baby, he “did not plead with her to save his life.” Grammer admits he “volunteered to have my son's body vacuumed out of his mother's.” As Live Action reports, abortionists use “vacuums 10-20 times more powerful than a household vacuum cleaner to tear (babies) apart alive.” Grammer added, “I regret it.” Despite his harrowing regret over his own son's death by abortion, the TV star ironically says he still believes abortion should be legal. Proverbs 31:8 says, “Open your mouth for the voiceless.” Over 7,750 baptized in largest single-day baptism in US history And finally, on Saturday, 7,750 people were baptized in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Huntington Beach, California, an event organizers say marked the largest single-day baptism in American history, reports The Christian Post. Hosted by Oceans Church and led by Pastor Mark Francey, the event dubbed "Baptize California" drew approximately 30,000 attendees from more than 300 churches across the Golden State. As the conclave nears, John-Henry and Fr. James Altman explore the chilling prophecy of Peter the Roman—St. Malachy's final pope, said to reign during the Church's ultimate trial. Could this prophecy be unfolding now? They examine rising papal contender Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, and whether the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem could fulfill the chilling prophecy of Peter the Roman, the final pope listed in St. Malachy's alleged vision. With Pizzaballa's roots in the Holy Land, his growing visibility, and the Church in deep crisis, the parallels are hard to ignore. The hosts explore what this prophecy could mean, whether it's unfolding now, and why the next pope could lead the Church through its greatest trial yet.U.S. residents! Monsignor Charles Pope delivers a sobering warning: hell is real, and ignoring its existence is harming the Church. Drawing from Scripture, tradition, and his new book The Hell There Is, Msgr. Pope explains how false mercy, presumption, and a trivialized view of God have emptied parishes and robbed souls of salvation. God respects human freedom—even when it leads to eternal separation from Him. Heaven and hell are real, with degrees of reward and punishment. Priests and bishops must recover the courage to preach the Four Last Things: death, judgment, heaven, and hell.
