Persecuting Christians is a booming business in the Muslim-majority nation, and the country is earning large sums of money from arresting Christ followers, reports International Christian Concern. Fines and bail amounts imposed by Iranian courts have reached hundreds of thousands of dollars in recent years, financially crippling poor Christian families trying to keep their loved ones out of prison. For years, the Middle Eastern nation has targeted Christians for their faith in Christ through intimidation, physical abuse, and imprisonment. But what's often overlooked are the exorbitant bail amounts doled out to Christ followers simply to keep themselves out of jail. Joseph Shahbazian, leader of a Christian house church, was arrested in June 2020 for his Christian activities and given a bail amount of $163,000. After pleading with the court and handing over the deeds to his and his mother's apartments, the court accepted $109,000 on Shahbazian's behalf. Proverbs 22:22-23 says, "Do not rob the poor because he is poor, nor oppress the afflicted at the gate; For the LORD will plead their cause, and plunder the soul of those who plunder them." Shahbazian was released from prison in 2023 after serving a little more than a year in jail, but was rearrested in 2025 for his continued Christian activities and sentenced to an additional 10 years in jail. According to Open Doors, Iran is the sixth most difficult country worldwide for Christians. Trump ends all tax-funded research with aborted baby parts On January 22nd, the 53rd anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision, President Donald Trump ended federal funding for research involving the use of aborted baby parts. It's a major victory for pro-life advocates that halts taxpayer support for such studies effective immediately, reports The Daily Wire. The National Institutes of Health announced the policy change on Thursday. The move prohibits the use of funds for research involving aborted baby parts obtained from elective abortions, while allowing ethical fetal tissue from sources such as miscarriages when donors consent. NIH Director Jay Bhattacharya said, “Someone who has had a miscarriage and wants to do a meaningful thing and they donate the tissue from the miscarriage to science, that's still allowed. The only ban is on, you have an abortion specifically to terminate the baby, and then the tissue then gets sold, that's what's being banned,” something he described as “morally abhorrent.” Rescue Resurrection protesters plead with Trump to ban abortion pill People from as far away as California and Georgia came to the nation's capital Thursday morning to plead with the Trump administration to ban the abortion kill pill, which is now easily available by mail and has led to a shocking increase of abortions following the Supreme Court's overturn of Roe v. Wade, reports LifeSiteNews.com. In the shadow of the U.S. Capitol dome, 20 people with Rescue Resurrection were arrested by United States Capitol Police outside the Health and Human Services headquarters as they sat down in the middle of the street. U.S. to gain “total access” to Greenland without payment On January 22nd, President Donald Trump said that the United States is negotiating an arrangement to secure full access to Greenland with no payment in return and unconstrained by any time limit, reports the Epoch Times. He appeared on Fox Business with Maria Bartiromo. Listen. BARTIROMO: “So, what are we talking about? An acquisition of Greenland? Are you going to pay for it?” TRUMP: “Essentially, it's total access. There's no end. There's no time limit. We're not doing, you know, the famous '99-year' deals that you hear about. Countries go on longer. I noticed the stock market went up pretty substantially after we announced it.” BARTIROMO: “The [Gross Domestic Product] of Greenland is like $3.3 billion, but people are valuing Greenland between $50 billion and almost a trillion [dollars]. So, what are you willing to pay for Greenland?” TRUMP: “Well, I'm not going to have to pay anything.” The president has described U.S control of the Arctic island as critical to both national and international security.  Indeed, Greenland will be an essential property to facilitate the much-anticipated Golden Dome, the U.S. missile defense system that will destroy enemy missiles before they launch or while they are in flight. It will be patterned after Israel's Iron Dome missile defense system. TRUMP: “We're going to have total access to Greenland. We're going to have all military access that we want. We're going to be able to put what we need on Greenland. We're talking about national security and international security. We are building the Golden Dome, and it'll be Israel times probably a hundred.” 7 Democrats voted with GOP to pass DHS/ICE spending bill Seven Democrats voted with Republicans on Thursday to pass a Department of Homeland Security spending bill, despite opposition from their own Democratic leadership, reports Fox News. The DHS bill will be bundled alongside three other spending bills, totaling a combined $1.2 trillion in federal spending. The entire package's passing is a significant step toward averting a government shutdown come January 30th. It passed in a 220-207 vote with the help of seven Democrats. Only one Republican, Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky, voted in opposition.  According to TheHill.com, the seven Democrats who sided with Republicans were Reps. Henry Cuellar of Texas, Jared Golden of Maine, Marie Perez of Washington, Laura Gillen of New York, Don Davis of North Carolina, Tom Suozzi of New York and Vicente Gonzalez of Texas. These are real-life situations that countless Christians face daily across Southeast Asia as they live in Muslim-majority nations, reports International Christian Concern. Islam has a strong presence and history in Asia, with 1.3 billion Muslims across the region and 242 million followers in Southeast Asia alone.  More than 60% of the world's Muslims live in Asia. US kills Al-Qaeda leader linked to deadly ISIS attack on US troops U.S. Central Command, known as CENTCOM, announced on Friday a deadly strike on a leader affiliated with Al-Qaeda in northeast Syria, reports The Epoch Times. The man had direct ties to an ISIS attack that killed two American service members and an interpreter on December 13, 2025, according to a Saturday CENTCOM post on X. CENTCOM Commander Admiral Brad Cooper said, “The death of a terrorist operative, linked to the deaths of three Americans, demonstrates our resolve in pursuing terrorists who attack our forces. We will find you.” Argentinian President Javier Milei defends unborn babies The abortion wars in Argentina are ongoing, reports LifeSiteNews.com. Javier Milei, who was elected president of Argentina in December 2023, ran on a staunchly pro-life platform. During his campaign, he promised to repeal Argentina's pro-abortion law, which passed narrowly in December 2020, and allows a mother to have her unborn baby killed up until 14 weeks of gestation. Abortion groups claim that these barriers likely account for the drop in the Argentinian abortion rate from 107,500 in 2023 to 79,186 in 2024. Senator to leftist obstetrician: “Can men get pregnant?” In a January 14th hearing on Abortion Kill Pill safety before the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee, Republican Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri could not get a straight answer from Dr. Nisha Verma, a board member of The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, about basic biological reality. Listen. HAWLEY: “Dr. Verma, do you think that men can get pregnant?” VERMA: “I'm not really sure what the goal of the question is.” HAWLEY: “The goal is just to establish a biological reality. You just said a moment ago that ‘science and evidence should control, not politics.' So, let's just test that proposition. Can men get pregnant?” VERMA: “I take care of people with many identities, but …” HAWLEY: “Can men get pregnant?” VERMA: “I take care of many women that can get pregnant. I do take care of people that don't identify as women that…” HAWLEY: “Can men get pregnant?” VERMA: “Again, as I'm saying …” HAWLEY: “Let me just remind you what you testified to a moment ago. ‘Science and evidence should control, not politics.' Can men get pregnant? You're a doctor.” VERMA: “I totally agree that science and evidence should guide medicine.” HAWLEY: “Do science and evidence tell us that men can get pregnant? Biological men, can they get pregnant?” VERMA: “I also think yes/no questions like this are a political tool.” HAWLEY: “No, yes/no questions are about the truth, doctor. Let's not make a mockery of this proceeding. This is about science and evidence, and I'm asking you. “The United States Supreme Court just heard arguments yesterday at great length on this question. This is not a hypothetical question. This is not theoretical. It affects real people in their real lives. And you're here as an expert, called by the other side, as an expert. You're a doctor, and you follow the science and the evidence. So, I just want to know, based on the science, can men get pregnant? That's a ‘yes or no' question. It really is, I think.” VERMA: “I think you're trying to reduce the complexity of a lot.” HAWLEY: “I'm not. It's not complex. I'm trying to get to an answer, and I'm trying to test, frankly, your veracity as a medical professional and as a scientist. Can men get pregnant?” VERMA: “I think you're also conflating male and female.” HAWLEY: “This is extraordinary. No, I'm not conflating male with female. They're two different things. There's biological men and there's biological women. And I want to know, can men get pregnant?” VERMA: “What you are talking about is biological.” HAWLEY: “I'm not going to answer my question.” VERMA: “biological males….” HAWLEY: “This isn't hard, doctor. Can men get pregnant? Yes or No?” Instead of answering Senator Hawley's very simple question, Dr. Verma continued to play games and sidestep a direct answer. VERMA: “I would be more than happy to have a conversation with you that is not coming from a place of trying to be polarized and pushing…” HAWLEY: “I'm not trying to be polarizing. I'm trying to ask. I think it is extraordinary that we are here in a hearing about science and about women. And for the record, it's women who get pregnant, not men. “Science shows that this abortion drug causes adverse health events in 11% of cases. That's 22 times greater than the FDA label, another fact you haven't acknowledged, and yet you won't even acknowledge the basic reality that biological men don't get pregnant. “There's a difference between biological men and biological women. I don't know how we can take you seriously and your claims to be a person of science, if you won't level with us on this basic issue. I thought we were past all of this, frankly.” Christian publisher Robert Wolgemuth entered Heaven at 77 And finally, the widow of the recently deceased Christian author and publisher Robert Wolgemuth, remembered by ministry leaders as a “legend in Christian publishing,” has revealed additional details about his sudden death, reports the Christian Post. Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth, the founder of Revive Our Hearts ministry, who married Wolgemuth in 2015, published a social media post last Thursday, providing additional details about her husband's final days before his death on January 10 at age 77.  She explained, “Early Christmas Eve morning, I took him to the ER, as he was in pain, struggling to breathe. He declined quickly and within a few days was totally unresponsive. On January 10, I returned to our home a widow. That same day, Robert moved to his eternal Home, to find unending joy and rest with Christ.”  Nancy added, “In the midst of tears aplenty, I rejoice in the incredible joy and gift of walking with Robert as his wife for the last ten years.” Evangelist Greg Laurie said, “Robert helped bring about the New Believer's Bible, which has literally touched millions of people around the world, as well as my book Jesus Revolution.  As Robert often said, ‘The anticipation of Heaven changes everything.' (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Chinese Communists arrested house church leaders On January 6th, Chinese Communists detained leaders and members of the Early Rain Covenant Church amid the nation's continued persecution of Christians, reports International Christian Concern. As of January 12, ChinaAid reported that six Christians from the church were either detained or placed under house arrest including Elder Li Yingqiang and his wife Zhang. They reportedly left a video message for their children in the event of their arrests. In it, they tell their children, “If one day you do not see mom and dad anymore, remember the hymn we sang together today.” The couple proceeds to sing “As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people.” Produced by Maranatha Music, you might recognize Messianic Praise's version of the song “As the Mountains.” MESSIANIC PRAISE: “As the mountains are around Jerusalem, the Lord is all around His people. As the mountains are around Jerusalem, the Lord is all around His people.” The Early Rain congregation has been the target of persecution at the hands of Chinese officials for many years due to its “unregistered” status. Trump threatens to invoke Insurrection Act amid unrest after second I.C.E.-involved shooting On Thursday, President Donald Trump threatened to invoke the Insurrection Act of 1807 to restore order amid ongoing riots against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials in Minneapolis in the wake of a second I.C.E.-involved shooting Wednesday night, reports the Christian Post. In a Truth Social post, Trump wrote, "If the corrupt politicians of Minnesota don't obey the law and stop the professional agitators and insurrectionists from attacking the Patriots of I.C.E., who are only trying to do their job, I will institute the Insurrection Act, which many Presidents have done before me, and quickly put an end to the travesty that is taking place in that once great State." Trump's threat came the morning after an I.C.E. officer shot an illegal Venezuelan immigrant in the leg after he allegedly fled during a traffic stop and attempted to beat the officer with a shovel, according to the Department of Homeland Security. DHS claimed the officer was "fearing for his life and safety" when the suspect "violently assaulted" him. The suspect was reportedly in stable condition, and the I.C.E. agent remains hospitalized. The shooting came a week after an I.C.E. agent fatally shot Renee Good, video of whom shows her driving her vehicle into him after refusing to comply with officers. Ari Fleischer: Minnesota leftists want illegals to stay in America Appearing on Fox News Channel's Special Report, former White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer offered his analysis. FLEISCHER: “The Insurrection Act is aimed at ‘civil disobedience.' It goes on to armed conflict as well, but it includes civil disobedience. Not peaceful protest, but civil disobedience. “And when you have the Governor of Minnesota, [Tim Walz], use the words ‘atrocities,' that ICE is committing ‘atrocities,' Governor Walz's word, when he says it's federal ‘occupation' of Minnesota, his word, ‘occupation,' urging Minnesotans to take to the streets to ‘bank evidence for future prosecutions,' Governor Walz's words, he is not seeking to calm things down. He is riling things up. And I think you have to ask what the root reason is why. “And it's because after the Biden years in which tens of millions of people came in illegally across the border with the willingness and the happiness of Democratic officials, now they want them to stay. They do not want people who came here illegally to have to leave in compliance with the law. They want them to get away with it. And that's what's driving their behavior.” If Supreme Court affirms two sexes, Trump will hold blue states accountable Riley Gaines, a podcaster and the former college swimming champion who objected to allowing biological men compete with women, asked White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt a question at the daily briefing. GAINES: “I was in Washington, DC earlier this week for the Supreme Court case. There were two arguments that were heard surrounding sex-based rights, and if it's constitutional for states to pass laws that ultimately protect those rights for women. “If the Supreme Court rules, as anticipated, in favor of maintaining these sex-based rights, is the [Trump] administration prepared to take action against the states? I believe at this point it's 23 states that don't have those protections for women.” LEAVITT: “Absolutely. The [Trump] administration already has done so. We've taken action in a number of fronts against these states who are failing to uphold the President's Executive Orders in this administration's policy of simply protecting women in women's sports and in women's private spaces. “We've gone to the mat with large universities in this country as well to try to fight for what's fair and what's just for women and girls across the country. Women's sports and private spaces should be protected. “There are two sexes. That is not something we should be afraid to say in this country. Men and women are different, but inherently equal. We hope and expect that the Supreme Court will rule in the right way on this matter.” Charges dropped against Red Rose pro-life rescuers After a successful pro-life rescue that temporarily closed a Pennsylvania abortion mill, involved arrests and initial jail time of several days, six Red Rose Rescue activists had all criminal charges against them dismissed on Monday at the Delaware County Courthouse, reports LifeSiteNews.com. The rescuers included Dr. Monica Miller, Eric Holmberg, Will Goodman, ChristyAnne Collins, Patty Woodworth, and Joan Andrews Bell. Regarding their successful July 31 rescue at the Delaware County Women's Abortion Mill, Dr. Miller said, “We came out on top for sure.” At the time, the six Red Rose Rescuers were peacefully offering roses to mothers going into the chemical abortion facility along with resources for alternatives to abortion. They also provided information to abortion center staff regarding how they could depart the abortion industry and access support from former abortion staff members who had become pro-life. The rescuers were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and “defiant” trespass after they refused to leave the abortion mill at the request of police officers, to whom they explained “we cannot leave as long as the unborn are scheduled to be killed.” Proverbs 24:11 says, “Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter.” As a result of their pro-life rescue efforts, the abortion mill temporarily closed. Working with the global Islamic State movement, the ADF is among the most dangerous terrorist groups in Congo. Venezuelan dictator captured in daring U.S. raid Venezuelans are celebrating in the streets. (Audio of celebration) Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro was seized by the United States Army's secretive Delta Force unit in a daring raid on his heavily-secured compound, reports the Daily Mail. CBS News reported that the ultra-elite Delta Force unit was behind the capture of Maduro, and his wife Cilia, in the early hours of Saturday morning. The couple was seized from their bedroom in the dead of night by U.S. forces as they slept, according to CNN. The raid did not lead to any U.S. casualties. The pair was snatched by helicopter from Caracas after they had been monitored by CIA spies, with President Donald Trump giving the order to take them two days ago. Mom upset school secretly socially transitioned her daughter A mother in Maine, named Amber Lavigne, had her parental rights usurped by school officials when a guidance counselor secretly gave her gender-confused 13-year-old daughter a chest binder and referred to her by using a male name and pronouns. A chest binder is used to flatten the breasts of a trans-identified girl to help her pretend to be a boy. With the help of the Goldwater Institute, Lavigne is taking the school to the Supreme Court, reports The Christian Post. LAVIGNE: “I don't want to lose my daughter to the state, even as she grows into an adult, I'll always be her mom.” When she confronted her daughter about the chest binder in her bedroom, she learned that the school guidance counselor had provided it.  LAVIGNE: “This situation really is about my parental rights being violated, about a social worker who had never even had a conversation with me, encouraging my child to keep secrets from me, to tell her, ‘Look, I'm not going to tell your mom, and you don't have to either.' So, she's bringing these breast binders home and hiding them in her room on me. Arkansas Governor in hot water for celebrating Christmas And finally, secularists and atheists alike were predictably furious with Arkansas Republican Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders this past Christmas, reports LifeSiteNews.com. It's just not that they found her professed love for Jesus Christ problematic. It's that she used her position as governor to spread the truth that Jesus Christ is the Savior of Mankind. On December 16, Sanders issued a declaration recalling that “more than two millennia ago in the little town of Bethlehem, far from the centers of power in first-century Rome, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was born in a humble manger.” Sanders added that “on that first Christmas, Christ's arrival was unassuming” and “not focused on the wealthy or powerful but rather on the poor, powerless, and meek.” Sanders then approved an extra day off for state employees on December 26 “in order that [they] may spend this holiday with their families giving thanks for Christ's birth.” The God-hating Freedom From Religion Foundation was livid. In a letter to Governor Sanders, attorney Chris Line said, “State offices are not churches, and gubernatorial proclamations are not sermons. The governor is free to practice her religion privately, but she may not use the authority of the state to promote Christian doctrine as official government speech.” Governor Sanders tweeted, “The Freedom from Religion Foundation took issue with me closing state offices to celebrate Christmas and sent a letter demanding I rescind my proclamation. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Nigerian Muslims killed 14 in Adamawa State Fourteen Nigerians are dead, and four are missing after Boko Haram, a Muslim terrorist group, attacked three villages on the evening of December 29th in Adamawa State, reports International Christian Concern. In addition, numerous homes and businesses were vandalized or burned in the attacks, which struck the villages of Zah, Mubang Yadul, and Kijing. Many villagers fled for their safety. The attackers reportedly fled into the bush before security personnel arrived. The attacks, which occurred days after the U.S. struck ISIS-affiliated Muslim militants in northwest Nigeria, were the latest in a string of assaults on villages in the area to occur around Christmas. MN employees: "Gov. Tim Walz is 100% responsible for massive fraud." Republican Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana took to the Senate floor to address how it's possible that Somalis in Minnesota were able to defraud taxpayers to the tune of $1 billion, possibly $9 billion, through fake non-profits. KENNEDY: “Here's what the Legislative Auditor in Minnesota said: ‘The threat of litigation and the negative press affected how the state politicians use their regulatory power.' “And here's what a fraud investigator in the Attorney General's office said: ‘There is a perception that forcefully tackling this issue would cause political backlash from the Somali community, which is a core voting block for Democrats.' “One of the other witnesses in the fraud investigation said, ‘Look, the 80,000-voting block folks with Somali ancestry, you got to have their votes to win in Minneapolis. And if you're a Democrat, if you can't win Minneapolis, you can't win in the state.' So, the politicians did nothing.” Senator Kennedy quoted from a social media post in which hundreds of employees of the Minnesota Department of Human Service weighed in. KENNEDY: “Don't just take my word for it, and don't blame the state employees. They tried. In fact, recently the state employees, they just said, ‘Look, we've had enough.' Several hundred employees from the Minnesota Department of Human Service, who administered this program, they posted this. I'm quoting now. '[Democratic] Governor Tim Walz is 100% responsible for massive fraud in Minnesota. We let Tim Walz know of fraud early on.' That's employees talking, hoping for a partnership and stopping fraud. ‘But no, we got the opposite response. This has prompted the Department of Health and Human Services to announce that it is derailing the $185-million gravy train.  HHS Deputy Secretary Jim O'Neil said on X, “We have frozen all child care payments to the state of Minnesota,” reports The Blaze. O'NEIL:” “Intrepid journalists have made shocking and credible allegations of extensive fraud in Minnesota's child care programs. We believe the state of Minnesota has allowed scammers and fake day cares to siphon millions of taxpayer dollars over the past decade.” Muslim NYC Mayor sworn in with Quran Incoming New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani took his New Year's Eve oath of office on his grandfather's Quran and a 200-year-old Quaran from the New York Public Library. It marked the first time a New York City mayor used Islam's misguided text to be sworn in, reports the Associated Press. The 34-year-old Democrat became mayor in a long-closed subway station beneath City Hall, the first Muslim, the first South Asian and the first African-born person to hold that position. Most of Mamdani's predecessors were sworn in on a Bible, although the oath to uphold the federal, state, and city constitutions does not require the use of any religious text. The Connecticut Mirror reported the governor's latest spending proposal, part of $41 million to make up for lost federal funds for a variety of so-called “services,” bringing the total committed for that purpose up to almost $168 million. Parents: School cancels Christmas concert over “Jesus” lyrics And finally, parents in Fonda, New York are furious after the annual elementary school Christmas concert was canceled. Many suspect it's because a teacher was offended by the name of Jesus, reports Christian talk show host Todd Starnes. Children at Fonda-Fultonville Elementary School had worked very hard to learn songs for the concert.  But there was one particular song that caused a bit of controversy. The song is called, “Oh, What a Special Night” and it tells the birth of Christ from the perspective of the animals around the manger scene. At the end of each verse, the children sang, “Thank you God for Baby Jesus.” The school district confirmed that the song was removed from the concert under guidance from their legal department.  Shortly after that, the concert was canceled. On Facebook, one parent wrote, “So tired of this woke culture, where one parent can call in and complain, and ruin it for the entire district.” Another said, “It is CHRISTmas. If someone doesn't agree with that, then they don't need to participate, and their parents don't need to attend. … The school has ruined the countless hours of practice the other kids have put in, as well as the joy and excitement they feel when they see their families in the audience. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Canadian pastor released from prison with gag order Canadian Pastor Derek Reimer has been released from prison in Calgary, Alberta on strict conditions as he is still serving his one-year house arrest and two-year probation for objecting to a Drag Queen Story Hour for little kids in a 90-second, peaceful conversation with Saddletowne Library Manager Shannon Slater. Reimer is not allowed to use any form of social media. Plus, leftist government officials have actually restricted him from attending the Street Church in Calgary and The Remnant Church in Red Deer because his parole officer is scared he will “rally up the mob.” Pastor Artur Pawlawski of Street Church told The Worldview, “Pastor Reimer has been totally muzzled by the Canadian courts. He has been prohibited from talking with anyone including his family, his friends, churchgoers, or reporters. It's a total, Soviet-style gag order. If he talked to anyone about what is happening he will go straight back to prison.” Pawlawski knows first-hand about these kind of oppressive government tactics. He said, “I grew up behind the Iron Curtain. Communists muzzled the public.  If you dared to expose them by telling the truth, they would do a show trial, imprison you, and torture you. “ Not surprisingly, the Canadian judge insisted that any Biblical objection to the sinful lifestyle of transgenders and homosexuals on the part of Pastor Reimer would qualify as “hate speech.” Calgary Pastor Shawn Hamm said, “The courts in Alberta are corrupt and they have been turned into a political circus! Jeffress: “None of the government's business” what pastors preach On Wednesday, Pastor Robert Jeffress of First Baptist Dallas had a message for  a White House religious liberty panel. JEFFRESS: “What I preach from the pulpit of the First Baptist Church of Dallas, or any pastor preaches from his church is none of the government's business.” (clapping) In testimony before the U.S. Department of Justice's Religious Liberty Commission, Jeffress shared their experience with the Internal Revenue Service during a controversial church tax inquiry in 2021 under former President Joe Biden. Jeffress' statement to the Commission included comments he initially shared with his congregation on Sunday, in which he recounted how the atheist legal organization Freedom From Religion Foundation filed a complaint with the IRS after former Vice President Mike Pence and then-HUD Secretary Dr. Ben Carson shared their faith testimonies of “how they came to know Jesus as Savior” at Jeffress' church in June 2020.  Jeffress said, “It's interesting that we did not hear anything from the IRS for 11 months. Then, four months after Joe Biden became president, on May 6, 2021, the IRS informed our church that they were initiating an inquiry into the tax-exempt status of our church because of our patriotic service.” He added that he does not endorse candidates from the pulpit, but “we encourage Christians to vote their biblical conviction.” Ironically, on November 1, 2020, the same day he addressed his church about the presidential race, President Biden was speaking at the Sharon Baptist Church in Philadelphia, where the former president and the church's pastor “openly encouraged members to vote for Biden while both men were standing in front of a campaign banner in the church.” Jeffress noted, “When we pointed out the contrast to the IRS between our non-endorsement policy and this church's flagrant disregard for the Johnson Amendment, the IRS officials conducting the examination had no response.” While the inquiry lasted more than a year, the IRS eventually acknowledged in July 2022 that First Baptist Dallas “did not engage in any improper political intervention or violate the U.S. tax code.”  Despite the favorable outcome, Jeffress said he wanted to testify before the Commission because while First Baptist Dallas could afford the legal fees, most churches could not — nor, he said, should they have to do so. Elon Musk affirms belief in Creator On The Katie Miller Podcast, billionaire Elon Musk revealed that he looks up to the Creator at the 12:37-mark of a nearly hour-long conversation, reports The Christian Post. MILLER: “Who do you look up to the most?” MUSK: “The Creator.” MILLER: “What's your current position on God?” MUSK: “God is the Creator.” MILLER: “You don't believe in God, though, do you?” MUSK: “Well, I believe those this universe came for something. People have different labels.” The comments from the Tesla and SpaceX founder are the latest in his publicly evolving views on God and faith. In response to a tweet from a user on X urging him to confess a Creator in May 2022, Musk wrote: "Thank you for the blessing, but I'm OK with going to hell, if that is indeed my destination, since the vast majority of all humans ever born will be there." Describing the reality of hell, Jesus said to those on His left, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.'"  (Matthew 25:41) Subsequently, in 2025, Musk urged his millions of X followers to go to church following the assassination of Charlie Kirk on September 10th.  He also attended Kirk's memorial in Glendale, Arizona on September 21st. 17 pro-lifers arrested for blocking Memphis Planned Parenthood abortion mill And finally, ten men and seven women spent a night in a Memphis jail on December 5th, after staging a peaceful protest in front of the Memphis, Tennessee Planned Parenthood abortion mill, reports LifeSiteNews.com. The protest was organized by “Rescue Resurrection,” a pro-life group planning “rescue” actions across the country. Those arrested included well-known figures in the pro-life movement: Randall Terry, founder of Operation Rescue; Joan Andrews Bell, a longtime pro-life advocate; Terrisa Bukovinac, director of Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising; Nathan Berning, director of Let Them Live; and Dr. Monica Miller of Citizens for Life, among others. Exhausted from spending a sleepless night in an over-crowded holding cell with no beds, Randall Terry said that “this is a very small price to pay to stand up for the babies.” Video footage of the arrests captured by journalist Ford Fischer shows Terry, Bell, and other pro-life protesters being dragged away by police, because they went limp, before being transported to jail.  And there is video of Joan Andrews Bell, a sernior citizen, being carried away by three Memphis Police Officers. Bell was pardoned by President Trump after being sentenced to two years in prison for a prior abortion clinic blockade for which she was prosecuted under President Biden. According to Open Doors' 2024 World Watch List, more than 4,100 Christians were abducted across Nigeria in the previous year. Data gathered from Nigerian and international monitoring groups place the number of Christians kidnapped since 2014 at more than 20,000, many of them during attacks on villages and houses of worship. Isaiah 59:2-3 says, “It is your evil that has separated you from your God. Your sins cause Him to turn away from you, so He does not hear you. With your hands you have killed others, and with your fingers you have done wrong. Trump and Hegseth defend targeted attacks on Venezuelan drug boats At Tuesday's cabinet meeting, President Donald Trump and War Secretary Pete Hegseth responded to questions about the controversial September 2nd air strike on a suspected drug boat in the Caribbean from Venezuela, reports RealClearPolitics.com. Secretary Hegseth doubled down on their methodology and mission. HEGSETH: “The evidence-based way that we're able to, with sources and methods that we can't reveal here, make sure that every one of those drug boats is tied to a designated terrorist organization. We know who's on it, what they're doing, what they're carrying. All these white bales are not Christmas gifts from Santa. This is drugs, running on four-motor fast boats or submarines that we've also struck. No one's fishing on a submarine.” Secretary Hegseth justified the lethal attacks on Venezuelan drug boats in international waters to protect the American people from deadly drugs like fentanyl and cocaine. HEGSETH: “How do you treat al-Qaeda and ISIS? Do you arrest them and pat them on the head and say, ‘Don't do that again'? Or do you end the problem directly by taking a lethal, kinetic approach? We know where the bad ones live, and we're going to start that very soon too.” Court rules NY's efforts to censor pro-life centers unconstitutional An appeals court panel has ruled that efforts to stop pro-life pregnancy centers in New York from informing patients about abortion pill reversal are unconstitutional, reports The Christian Post.   In an opinion published Monday, a three-judge panel of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit unanimously upheld a lower court ruling siding with two pro-life pregnancy centers, Gianna's House and Options Care Center. The new data was compiled by the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression, which asked more than 2,000 college students about their perceptions of free speech in the United States. Remarkably, 204 of the students surveyed were from Utah Valley University in Orem, where Charlie Kirk was fatally gunned down while peacefully and cordially taking questions from attendees. The foundation called the survey results “especially startling coming in the wake of Charlie Kirk's assassination — an extreme and tragic example of the sharp difference between words and violence.” Sean Stevens, chief research advisor for the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression, said, “When people start thinking that words can be violence, violence becomes an acceptable response to words. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Christian ethnic cleansing survivors given new homes in Armenia Several families displaced by ethnic cleansing in their ancient Christian homeland more than two years ago were given new homes and plots of land on Tuesday through a charitable initiative seeking to help revitalize a rural Armenian mountain village, reports the Christian Post. Romans 12:15 says, “Rejoice with those who rejoice.” The Tufenkian Foundation has cut the ribbon on a pilot refugee village in Svarants, completing the first 10 of 20 new homes in the upper reaches of Armenia's mountainous Tatev Municipality, which borders Iran and Azerbaijan. The new homes, which come with adjoining plots of land and a barn, were built specifically to help families rebuild their lives around the agricultural and livestock work they were doing before Azerbaijan's 2023 invasion of Nagorno-Karabakh. It's a predominantly Armenian region known affectionately to Armenians as the Republic of Artsakh. After a months-long military blockade, more than 120,000 ethnic Artsakh Armenians were forced from their homes in September 2023, and most have lived for two years throughout Armenia with what Artsakh leaders say has been inadequate social integration.  Judge orders Trump to end National Guard deployment in DC On Thursday, U.S. District Judge Jia Cobb, a Biden appointee, ordered the Trump administration to end its monthslong deployment of National Guard troops to help police the nation's capital, reports the Associated Press. She asserted that President Donald Trump's military takeover in Washington, D.C., illegally intrudes on local officials' authority to direct law enforcement in the district. Trump had said the troops were needed to deal with rampant crime and violence in Washington and support federal immigration law enforcement efforts there. Pope Leo met with Illinois' pro-abortion, pro-perversion governor The stream of liberal clergy and scandalous public figures who are given audiences with Pope Leo XIV seemingly never comes to an end. Now comes news that pro-abortion Democratic Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker spoke with Leo for 40 minutes at the Vatican during a private meeting on Wednesday, reports LifeSiteNews.com. In the past, Pritzker has designated Illinois a “sanctuary state” for women seeking abortions, expanded access to chemical abortion pills, and approved policies sexual perversion activists have long desired. To top it off, Pritzker may sign a bill that would legalize physician-assisted suicide. According to Proverbs 6:17, one of seven things that God hates is “hands that shed innocent blood.” A Pritzker spokesman said that the audience with Leo was arranged by pro-homosexual Chicago Cardinal Blase Cupich, a man with whom he has had a long friendship. Neither Trump nor Vance not invited to Dick Cheney's funeral Political figures from across the aisle gathered Thursday in Washington, DC, for the funeral of former Vice President Dick Cheney — a key figure of pre-MAGA Republican politics, reports CBS News. The funeral, which was attended by two former presidents and all living former vice presidents, was a bipartisan who's who of Washington dignitaries yet with the notable absence of two of the country's current leaders. Neither President Donald Trump nor Vice President J.D. Vance were invited to the funeral. Cheney received full military honors at the invitation-only memorial service at Washington's National Cathedral. Attendees included former Presidents Joe Biden and George W. Bush, former First Ladies Jill Biden and Laura Bush, as well as former Vice Presidents Kamala Harris, Mike Pence, Al Gore, and Dan Quayle. George W. Bush: Dick Cheney was a serious man Former President George W. Bush eulogized Dick Cheney, his former vice president, as a consummate public servant who could be relied on, and who “lifted the standards” of those around him. BUSH: “In a profession that attracts talkers, Dick Cheney was a thinker and a listener. And when he did speak up, conveying thoughts in that even tone of voice, that orderly, unexcitable manner, you knew you were getting the best of a highly disciplined mind. “No colleague, no legislator, no foreign leader who ever met Dick Cheney ever doubted that they were dealing with a serious man.” Cheney, who served as Bush's vice president from 2001 to 2009, died on November 3 at the age of 84. Prior to being elected vice president, Cheney served as defense secretary, White House chief of staff, and as a congressman representing Wyoming. Texas Governor slams judge who blocked redistricting map Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott slammed the El Paso federal judge, a 2019 Trump nominee, who once worked for Abbott, for authoring the decision that blocked the state's congressional redistricting map that President Donald Trump wanted ahead of next year's elections, reports the San Antonio Express-News. ​In an appearance on Fox News, Abbott said a previous redistricting decision by U.S. District Court Judge Jeffrey Brown, who worked for Abbott when he was a Texas Supreme Court justice in the 1990s, was overturned last year. ABBOTT: “Judge Brown, who wrote that opinion, he was just reversed last year in a different redistricting decision. He was wrong last year. He's wrong this year. I have never seen an opinion so erroneous in its writing. That's something that the United States Supreme Court, I think, is just not going to tolerate.” ​Abbott said he is “confident” that the U.S. Supreme Court will side with Texas and allow the new map, which gives Republicans five more winnable seats, to be used in the 2026 midterm elections. The case has major ramifications for control of the U.S. House during the final two years of Trump's presidency. Republicans currently hold a five-seat majority in the U.S. House. If Democrats retake control of the chamber, they would have the power to stop all major legislation Trump wants passed and would be able to hold hearings to investigate the administration's policy decisions and actions. British shoe cobbler victorious in David vs. Goliath battle And finally, a British shoe cobbler in Gloucestershire, England, named Alan Macdonald, has been happily repairing shoes for thirty years at Macdonald Traditional Cobbler. MACDONALD: “Well, my father was a cobbler and my grandfather was a cobbler. So, I've been around probably since I was about five. I think my father had me doing work.” Recently, a corporate shoe repair chain wanted to open a location right across the street. Local citizens signed a petition to protect Alan McDonald, reports GoodNewsNetwork.org. The petition to reject the corporate newcomer collected 1,000 signatures from people in the area through social media, including the local Parliament member. MACDONALD: “You know, I hadn't expected this swell of support that's happened as a result of this application. I mean, I just was not expecting that.” A United Kingdom grocery chain Tesco had submitted a planning application together with another chain called Timpson, to open a new location of one of their bizarre service centers that offered combinations of dry cleaning, watch repair, key duplication, photo printing, engraving, portraiture, and shoe repair. To Macdonald's delight, when the corporate application for its new location was due to be discussed at a parish council meeting, Tesco confirmed it would not be moving forward.  However, it failed to specify whether or not the petition drive led to their decision. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Catholic cathedral bombed in Bangladesh On November 7, a Catholic cathedral and school in Dhaka, Bangladesh, were bombed hours before a worship event that drew bishops from across the country, reports International Christian Concern. A suspect on a motorbike threw two homemade bombs at the church — one exploded near the gate, and another landed near the property, failing to detonate. Thankfully, no one was injured in the attack.  The incident did not deter 500 Catholics from attending the worship event the following morning at St. Mary's Cathedral, nor did it deter students from returning to school at St. Joseph School the following Monday.  Police investigators arrested a suspect and identified him as a member of a banned student political party. They have been initiating violent protests against the government, but more recently, their attacks have shifted toward churchgoers as they prepare for the February 2026 election.  St. Mary's Cathedral plans to take legal action and punish the perpetrator.  One churchgoer said, “Anxiety grips many of us while going to church.” And Bulbul Rebeiro with the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Bangladesh, said, “We are peace-loving people, but these incidents are frightening us.”  Bangladesh ranks 24th on the Open Doors' World Watch List of the countries most dangerous for Christians. Gen Z protests in Mexico City, storming presidential palace AUDIO: Sounds of rioting against police Those are the sounds of rioters who stormed the barricades outside the presidential palace in Mexico City on Saturday as an anti-cartel protest descended into chaos, reports The Daily Mail. Mobs of frustrated, mostly Gen Z Mexican protestors traded blows with cops and screamed slogans about how corruption and cartel killings have spiraled out of control in their country. Thousands of people filled the streets of the nation's capital and marched to the palace, which is the official residence of President Claudia Sheinbaum, the liberal politician who took office last October. The demonstration, largely organized by young activists and supported by older supporters of opposition movements, was the culmination of citizens' frustration with the government's inability to stop violence and provide economic opportunity. Pablo Vazquez, Mexico City's chief of police, said 20 people were arrested and are set to be charged with battery, assault and robbery, reports Bloomberg. Vazquez added that 60 of his police officers were injured, 40 of whom had to be sent to the hospital for treatment.  Trump supports Christian foster parents against pro-LGBT states President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Thursday aimed at “modernizing” the child welfare system in the United States, including a guarantee to side with foster families discriminated against by states for their religious convictions, reports LifeSiteNews.com. For example, Heath and Lydia Marvin, a Christians couple in Massachusetts who have fostered eight children under the age of four since 2020, lost their license to foster children because they refused to sign an agreement to “affirm” the alleged LGBT status of any children placed in their care.  LYDIA MARVIN: “We have been an active foster family in Massachusetts for the past four and a half years, and lost our license earlier this year due to new discriminatory policies against Christian families in Massachusetts. So grateful to be here and have the [Trump] administration's support for foster care, but also specifically for Christian families and faith-based organizations to continue caring for those who are most vulnerable in our communities.” Her husband Heath offered his support for the Trump administration as well. HEATH MARVIN: “It's so neat to hear the President and First Lady talking about both foster care and just the need that exists across the country for that, but also specifically, how Christians are twice as likely to be a part of foster care and to adopt.  They recognize that there are states that are putting policies in place that actually drive Christians out of foster care.” In Leviticus 18:22,  the Bible affirms heterosexuality, saying, "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; such a thing is an abomination." (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Syria's President to visit White House in historic first ​​ Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa is slated to visit the White House today, marking the first-ever visit by a Syrian president to Washington, D.C., reports International Christian Concern.  Al-Sharaa seized power in December 2024 after a rapid coup that toppled longtime dictator Bashar al-Assad.  In the months since coming to power, al-Sharaa has reached out to various religious and ethnic minority groups. However, he has also garnered significant criticism from minority groups and international human rights organizations, which point to the repeated massacres of Druze and Alawite civilians. At a recent Capitol Hill event titled “Fortifying Religious Freedom in Syria,” civil society groups gathered in support of decentralization. Speakers included Nadine Maenza, Ambassador Sam Brownback, Rep. Frank Wolf, and representatives of the Druze, Alawite, Kurdish, and Christian communities.  Al-Sharaa is moving toward a system that grants the central government significant authority, rather than a federated system in which local areas retain robust self-determination.  Some analysts predict that al-Sharaa's deep roots in Islamic jihad will lead to further attacks on ethnic and religious minority communities. Sharaa began his career with the Islamic State in Iraq, before creating his own al-Qaida-aligned militant group in Syria.  1,100 flights canceled Sunday amid nationwide air travel disruption On Sunday, more than 1,100 flights were cancelled across the country according to the FlightAware website, as the Federal Aviation Administration limited capacity at 40 major U.S. airports amid the longest government shutdown in American history, reports ABC News. On Saturday, 1,521 flights were canceled and 6,400 flights were delayed.  Defund Planned Parenthood by America's 250th birthday A coalition of pro-life groups led by Lila Rose of Live Action set as its next mission the passage of a permanent nationwide defunding of Planned Parenthood before the one-year-ban in the current law expires that will also coincide with the 250th anniversary of the United States, reports LifeSiteNews.com. This past July, President Donald Trump signed into law his so-called “One Big Beautiful Bill, a wide-ranging tax and spending package that contains a one-year ban on federal tax dollars going through Medicaid to any entity that provides abortions for reasons other than rape, incest, or supposed threats to the mother's life. That law forced the closure of numerous abortion mills. Rose said, “We cannot celebrate [250 years of] freedom while subsidizing the killing of American children.” Republicans have already proposed standalone measures to fully cut off Planned Parenthood's government funding: the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion and Abortion Insurance Full Disclosure Act, which permanently bans federal funds from being used for abortion; and the Defund Planned Parenthood Act, which disqualifies Planned Parenthood and its affiliates specifically. More Americans are reading the Bible but fewer believe it's 100% accurate With Millennials and Generation Z leading the way, particularly among men, Bible reading among U.S. adults in 2025 is at its highest level in the last 15 years, reports The Christian Post. The initiative by Barna Group and Gloo collected data from 12,116 online interviews conducted between January and October 2025. The research revealed that approximately 50% of self-identified Christians report reading the Bible weekly, the highest level of Bible reading among Christians in more than a decade. Weekly Bible reading among all U.S. adults reached its lowest point in 15 years in 2024 when it hit 30%. In 2025, the figure rebounded 12 percentage points to 42%. Approximately 50% of Millennials reported reading the Bible weekly, representing a 16-point increase from the previous year. Bible reading among Gen Z increased by a staggering 19 points, from 30% a year ago to 49% in 2025. Gen X currently stands at 41%. Sadly, despite more Americans reporting regular Bible reading, fewer maintain that the Bible is 100% accurate. Only 36% of Americans now hold that the Bible is 100% accurate. In 2000, this share was 43%. Just 44% of self-identified Christians strongly affirmed the accuracy of the Bible. Proverbs 30:5 says, "Every word of God is flawless; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.” Two farmers rescue 20 kids from burning school bus And finally, last week, two California farmers were honored for being the first ones to help save over 20 students aboard a school bus that caught fire, reports GoodNewsNetwork.org. Long before the Madera County Fire Department arrived on scene on September 4th, Angel Zarco and Carlos Perea were there.  Providentially, they were repairing their tractor at the time. In fact, the pair noticed the smoke billowing from the back of the bus even before the bus driver did. Carlos Perea recognized it was God's perfect timing. PEREA: “God put us in that place for a reason, that was to help. Help out the kids.” Angel Zarco explained they jumped into action. ZARCO: “We were just making sure that the kids were far away enough so they wouldn't get hurt.” The men made their way through the dark smoke to reach the final children in the back row.   ZARCO: “The bus caught fire right away, probably within like two minutes, three minutes. It all happened right away.” They evacuated all the students on board before hightailing it to a safe distance as the school bus burst into flames. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Sudanese police arrest pastor for not giving Muslim the church In an apparent attempt by a Muslim businessman in Sudan, Africa to seize church property, the police arrested and jailed a pastor on October 28th in River Nile State, reports Morning Star News. At 6:00pm, two police officers arrived at the home of Rev. Daud Kachu of the Sudan Presbyterian Evangelical Church in Atbara and presented him with an arrest warrant. When congregation members said he needed to speak with the church attorney first, the officers initially feigned understanding, but two other policemen, hiding behind the church building, appeared and forced Pastor Kachu into a vehicle. They took him to the Atbara police station, where he was jailed. An intensive interrogation followed on October 29th, and police conveyed the Muslim businessman's demand that he had 30 days to vacate the church premises. The police officers said, “The law is above your religion.” Police demanded that the pastor sign a document stipulating that he would no longer object to anyone trying to seize the church property, but the pastor refused. Rev. Kachu, who has led the church for 30 years, was initially denied bail, but police later released him after intervention by the church attorney. In Psalm 105:15, God warns, “Do not touch My anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm.” Box Office Massacre: October Revenue Falls to 27-Year Low, Excluding Pandemic Halloween is shaping up to be scarier than ever for Hollywood and its exhibition partners, but not in a good way, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Domestic box office revenue for October 2025 is expected to come in at roughly $425 million — the worst showing in 27 years, according to Comscore. This excludes October 2020, the heart of the COVID-19 pandemic,  Two problems. First, many October titles simply didn't resonate with general audiences. Second, fewer people are going to the silver screen. MN Supreme Court allows men, pretending to be women, to compete in powerlifting The Minnesota Supreme Court ruled unanimously on October 22nd that men have a right to cheat in women's sports, reported Fox News. The particular sport in question makes the ruling even more outrageous—powerlifting -- where men have a decided strength advantage biologically speaking.   Don't forget: This is the state where Governor “Tampon Tim” Walz put tampons in boys' bathrooms while letting boys go into girls' bathrooms.   Walz and his Democrat predecessor, Mark Dayton, appointed all of the state's Supreme Court justices. The fact that the decision was unanimous proves how the Left is “all in” on radical transgender ideology.   The New Left tells women today, “You have to let a man watch you undress and your daughter has to compete against boys.” Trouble In Chinatown In New York City's Chinatown district, illegal vendors are selling counterfeit merchandise like fake Gucci purses, designer clothing, and  high-end watches, reports Breitbart.com. That's not only illegal, it also hurts legitimate merchants who cannot compete with the fake knockoffs. Merchants have repeatedly complained to the city, but to no avail.   Federal immigration police launched an enforcement operation. They arrested nine illegal aliens, most of whom had committed additional crimes. Their rap sheets included robbery, assaulting police officers, drug trafficking, drug possession, forgery, and domestic violence.   Gary Bauer of Campaign for Working Families, wrote, “This enforcement operation was a ‘win-win' for New York City. Immigration police got rid of illegal merchants and criminals. “But what happened? There was a riot in Chinatown as leftists rushed into the streets to prevent immigration police from doing their jobs. This is what the Left has fomented around America. They have inspired an insurrection that is resisting federal law enforcement.” Tucker Carlson: Abortion enthusiasts have a “religious fanaticism” about killing In the footsteps of the late Charlie Kirk, conservative commentator Tucker Carlson took a strong stand for life recently during a Turning Point USA event at Indiana University in response to a pro-abortion student, reports LifeSiteNews.com. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Human Rights Conference in Berlin Highlights Christian Persecution Human rights experts met in Berlin, Germany last Wednesday, highlighting the increased persecution of Christians worldwide.  The International Society for Human Rights released a new report on Christian persecution at the conference.  The report notes that Christians suffer under dictatorial states like China, Cuba, and North Korea. They remain victims of discrimination and violence without state protections in countries like Egypt, Syria, Nigeria, India, and Myanmar. And believers face persecution in Islamic republics like Afghanistan, Iran, and Pakistan.  The conference also highlighted the suffering of Ukrainian Christians under Russian occupation. Russia Proposes a Rail Tunnel Under the Bering Strait Reuters reports Russia proposed a “Putin-Trump” rail tunnel under the Bering Strait to link the two nations. The eight billion dollar proposal follows President Donald Trump's phone call with President Vladimir Putin. Russia's proposal would involve building a 70-mile rail and cargo tunnel between Alaska and Russia's eastern region of Chukotka. The plan suggested Elon Musk's Boring Company for the construction project. President Trump called the idea “interesting,” saying, “We'll have to think about that.”  Trump Moves to Reduce the Cost of IVF Last Thursday, President Donald Trump announced a deal with the pharmaceutical industry to reduce the cost of in vitro fertilization. The Trump administration hailed the move as pro-family. However, pro-life groups are criticizing the plan.  LifeSiteNews noted, “The IVF process is gravely unethical as it entails the conscious creation of scores of ‘excess' embryonic humans only to be killed and human lives being treated like commodities to be bartered over. It has been estimated that more than a million embryos are frozen in storage in the United States following IVF, and that as many as 93 percent of all embryos created through IVF are eventually destroyed.” Conservative Anglicans Split from the Church of England Conservative Anglicans formally split from the Church of England last week. The Global Anglican Future Conference, also known as GAFCON, declared itself to be the Global Anglican Communion. It will no longer participate in meetings called by the Church of England's Archbishop of Canterbury.  Sarah Mullally is the recently appointed Archbishop of Canterbury. She is the first female to hold the position and supports same-sex blessings. Bishop Laurent Mbanda is the chairman of the GAFCON Primates' Council as well as the Primate of Rwanda. He wrote, “We cannot continue to have communion with those who . . . abandoned the inerrant word of God as the final authority.” Isaiah 8:20 says, “To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” Pew Research: Divorce Rates are Down in the U.S. And finally, Pew Research reports divorce rates, and specifically refined divorce rates, are down in the U.S. Unlike the overall divorce rate, the refined divorce rate takes into account changes in the number of people who are married at any given time.  This refined divorce rate peaked in the U.S. around 1980 at 22.6 divorces per 1,000 married women. By 2023, it had declined to 14.4 divorces per 1,000 married women.  The report noted that married men are more likely to be employed than divorced men. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Chinese college forces students to identify as atheists According to a September 30th report from ChinaAid, a mobile app used by a Chinese vocational school, requires students to declare they're atheists.   The app, used by Tianjin Vocational College of Mechanics and Electricity in China, instructs students to check the box for “no religious belief” in their personal information sections, clearly violating their right to religious freedom.  The report stated that “point 4 under ‘personal information notes' requires filling in ‘no religious belief,' forcing all enrolled students to declare themselves as ‘atheists' or ‘non-believers.'”  The Chinese Communist Party is officially atheist and has a long history of disrespecting and persecuting religious communities, including Christians.  Psalm 14:1 says, “The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no God.'” The Gospel Coalition stated in 2022 that “[President] Xi despises Christianity … [and] fears that religion, especially Christianity, is an attempt by foreign influences to subvert his nation.”   U.S. Special Operations helicopters near Venezuela The U.S. military's elite Special Operations aviation unit appears to have flown in Caribbean waters less than 90 miles from the coast of Venezuela in recent days, reports the Washington Post. According to an unnamed U.S. official, the helicopters were engaged in training exercises that could serve as preparation for expanded conflict against alleged drug traffickers, including potential missions inside Venezuela. Already, the U.S. military has struck at least five boats carrying illegal narcotics in international waters, killing at least 27 drug traffickers. Speaker Johnson & Speaker Ohana back Trump for Nobel Peace Prize On Wednesday, House Speaker Mike Johnson explained why he believed that President Donald Trump is deserving of the Nobel Peace Prize next year. It's an indisputable fact that no president has undertaken the work of saving lives and pursuing peace with such determination and with such remarkable success as President Trump. “Under his leadership, we are witnessing the dawn of a new golden age, not just for America, but for the entire free world. American strength is good for free people around the world, as we say always, and peace through strength is maintained.” Pentagon journalists turn in badges, refusing new Hegseth rules Dozens of Pentagon reporters turned in access badges and exited the War Department on Wednesday rather than agree to government-imposed restrictions on their work, reports the Associated Press. The nation's leadership called the new rules “common sense” to help regulate a “very disruptive” press. News outlets were nearly unanimous in rejecting new rules imposed by War Secretary Pete Hegseth that would leave journalists vulnerable to expulsion if they sought to report on information — classified or otherwise — that had not been approved by Hegseth for release. Homosexual pastor says abortion “helps the life of children” According to a viral video clip, a self-described “queer” Protestant pastor said babies should be killed in the womb so they do not grow up in an “unsupportive” situation, reports LifeSiteNews.com. Kurt Kaufman is a recently “ordained” minister who currently works as a “ministerial associate” at First Baptist Church of Denver. Protestia, which often criticizes liberal Christianity, posted a video of an interview Kaufman gave where he explains why he supports the intentional killing of innocent preborn babies. Listen. KAUFMAN: “Being in favor of reproductive rights [i.e., the destruction of the unborn], first and foremost, protects the life of the mother, and protects the life of the person that is already living, and is the person that is able to bring more life into this world should they choose,” “Furthermore, it protects the life of children. There are so many children that currently exist in this world that were forced to be born because of legislation, because of men that have decided for women. And so as a result, many children have grown up into a unsupportive, unhealthy and right-challenging household that hasn't been a life that any child should live. “And so being in favor of reproductive choice helps the life of children everywhere because they don't have to grow up in a world that dislikes them because they simply exist.” This is why, according to the so-called “minister” it's a good thing to support the killing of babies. But in Proverbs 6:16-19, there are seven things listed that God hates, including “the shedding of innocent blood.” LifeSiteNews asked Kaufman for further information on when the interview occurred, what he would say to the counterargument that society does not kill babies after they are born just because of their circumstances, and at what point he believes preborn babies are human beings who deserve protection from abortion. In a reply email this past Tuesday, Kaufman wrote, “I have no comment to provide.” Not surprisingly, Kaufman's outrageous remarks drew criticism from commentators on X. Scott Dunford wrote, “By his logic every kid born into a bad home situation should be eliminated. This is an evil and godless way of thinking.” And an account called Woke Preacher Clips wrote, “This is psychotic behavior.” Bad Bunny's Super Bowl perverse half time show vs. Turning Point's wholesome patriotic alternative And finally, Super Bowl LX (60) is set for Sunday, February 8, 2026, and will broadcast on NBC with a halftime performance featuring Benito Ocasio known as “Bad Bunny,” a Puerto Rican rapper who has championed sexual perversion, sexual immorality, self-indulgence, and hostility to Immigration Customs and Enforcement. Indeed, Ocasio has said that his sexuality may be fluid. He told Gay Pride, “At the moment, I am heterosexual and I like women, but maybe in 20 years I will like a man.” In his song, Ignorantes, he features sexual perversion, and in his song, Yo Perreo Sola, Ocasio created a disturbing video where he personally dresses and cavorts around in drag. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Turkey has expelled 350 foreign Christians Alliance Defending Freedom International reports that officials in Turkey are labeling Christians as national security threats.   Since 2020, the country has expelled about 350 foreign Christians under the guise of “national security.” Many of these believers lived and ministered in the country for decades. Officials are not only keeping foreign Christians out, they are also suppressing churches inside the country. For example, Turkey restricts Bible education and continues to deny legal status to Protestant seminaries. Madagascar Parliament impeaches President after Gen Z protests Youth-led protests have contributed to the unseating of another government—this time in Madagascar, an island country located 250 miles off the coast of Southeast Africa in the Indian Ocean Since September 25, Gen Z  groups have led antigovernment protests. They were protesting over water and power outages as well as poverty and government corruption.  The country's parliament voted Tuesday to impeach President Andry Rajoelina. He has been in power since  2009. The Madagascar Army immediately seized control of the African island nation, promising to create a transitional government.  The Gen Z-Madagascar movement was inspired by youth-led protesters in Kenya last year and in Nepal this year. America boosts Argentinian economy The United States finalized a $20 billion currency swap with Argentina last Thursday. The U.S. move aims at providing economic stability to Argentina as well as keeping China's influence out of the South American country.  Argentinian President Javier Milei thanked the United States. In a post on X. he wrote, “Together, as the closest of allies, we will make a hemisphere of economic freedom and prosperity.” Nobel Peace Prize recipient dedicates prize to President Trump The Norwegian Nobel Committee awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for 2025 to Maria Corina Machado last Friday.  The 58-year-old activist is known for leading the Venezuelan opposition to the governments of Hugo Chávez and Nicolás Maduro. Machado responded to the award on X, saying the recognition was a boost to her work. She also wrote, “I dedicate this prize to the suffering people of Venezuela and to President Trump for his decisive support of our cause!” U.S. President Donald Trump has been nominated for the peace prize multiple times for his peace deals, especially in the Middle East. To be clear, the deadline for the Nobel Peace Prize handed out in October was January 31, just 11 days after Trump took office. Jesus reminds us of ultimate peace in John 14:27. He said, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” Trump lays off 4,000 federal employees The Trump administration is laying off over 4,000 federal employees as the government shutdown continues. LifeSiteNews reports the layoffs include people working on Democrat programs like “family planning” and “LGBTQ health” issues. President Trump told a cabinet meeting that he would use the shutdown to cut Democrat programs. Listen. TRUMP: “Despite all of the damage that it's caused, the shutdown has been pretty damaging, not yet, because it's early, but it gets a little bit worse as it goes along. And we'll be making cuts that will be permanent. And we're only going to cut Democrat programs.” 58% of Americans say Bible transformed their lives The American Bible Society released the latest chapter of its State of the Bible USA 2025 report.  The study found that 36% of U.S. adults believe the Bible is totally accurate in all the principles it presents. And 58% say the Bible has transformed their lives.  Meanwhile, 24% of Americans say the Bible is just another book of teachings written by people that contains stories and advice. A majority of those also say the Bible was written to control or manipulate people. But Psalm 18:30 says, “As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.” Monster pumpkin weighs 2,346 pounds And finally, a California engineer won a pumpkin-growing contest held on Monday in Half Moon Bay, south of San Francisco.  Brandon Dawson's monster pumpkin weighed in at a whopping 2,346 pounds, over 300 pounds ahead of the next contestant. He is now the champion of the 2025 Safeway World Championship Pumpkin Weigh-Off. Dawson told the Associated Press his kids loved the process. DAWSON: “Oh, it's very much a family affair, especially as the kids -- my kids are four and two, and especially my four-year-old, especially now can really pay attention to the growing process. I think both of them might have interest in doing it in their future. “We like to spend time out in the patch and watch the thing grow when it's picking up 50 to 70 pounds a day.
