(Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Communist Cuban officials detain 16-year-old protestor Protests in Morón, Cuba, erupted the night of March 13 and lasted through the next day in response to a week of blackouts and shortages of medical and food supplies, reports International Christian Concern. Protestors ransacked and set fire to the Cuban Communist Party's headquarters. Among those arrested on March 16 were Evangelical Pastor Elier Ávila and his son, Jonathan. Though the pastor is now free, his 16-year-old son is still behind bars. While his son was accused of participating in the vandalism, some suggest that Cuban officials painted many of the law-abiding protestors of criminal mischief. Anna Stangl, the Director of Advocacy for Christian Solidarity Worldwide, said, “The detention of a 16-year-old child, with a serious medical condition, simply because he attempted to exercise his freedom of expression, is unconscionable.   “Despite the gravity of the situation on the island–with rampant hunger, scarcity of medicine, outbreaks of disease, and the failure of the power grid, the answer of President Miguel Canel, and the Cuban Communist Party, is to round up and imprison those who dare to call for change.”  Please send a 2-3 sentence letter to Ambassador Lianys Rivera urging Cuba to release Pastor Elier Ávila's son, Jonathan. Trump's snappy rely to Japanese reporter During a meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi on Thursday, U.S. President Donald Trump was bold in his response to a provocative question from a Japanese reporter, according to Real Clear Politics. Listen. REPORTER: “Japan and U.S. are very good friends. But one question: Why didn't you tell U.S. allies in Europe and Asia, like Japan, about the war before attacking Iran? So, we are very confused about, we Japanese citizens.” TRUMP: “One thing, you don't want to signal too much, you know? When we go in, we went in very hard, and we didn't tell anybody about it because we wanted surprise. Who knows better about surprise than Japan? Okay? Why didn't you tell me about Pearl Harbor? (laughter) Okay? Right? “No, you believe in surprise, I think much more so than us. We had to surprise them, and we did. And because of that surprise, we knocked out, in the first two days, we probably knocked out 50 percent of what we and much more than we anticipated doing. So, if I go and tell everybody about it, there's no longer a surprise, right?” Joseph Duggar arrested for sexually abusing a minor Joseph Duggar, from the reality TV show "19 Kids and Counting," was arrested Wednesday on allegations of sexually abusing a minor during a family vacation in Panama City Beach, Florida, reports NewsNation.com. The married 31-year-old former reality star, who has three children of his own, was charged with lewd and lascivious conduct with a minor and molestation of a victim less than 12 years old. His arrest occurred years after his 38-year-old brother, Josh Duggar,  was convicted of child pornography charges. Officials say the victim identified Joseph Duggar as the abuser, saying he repeatedly asked her to sit on his lap. She said these incidents would allegedly progress into Joseph Duggar covering her with a blanket and touching her inappropriately. The victim reportedly stated that Joseph Duggar apologized for his actions, and the incidents stopped. Officials say the victim's father confronted him on Tuesday, and Joseph confessed his sins to both the father and detectives in Tonitown, Arkansas. In Matthew 18:6, Jesus said, “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.” Late-term abortionist, who died, had no regrets Susan Robinson, one of America's most infamous late-term abortionists, died earlier this month, less than a year after being diagnosed with cancer, according to an Instagram post made by her fellow abortionist Shelly Sella. She wrote, “Susan was my friend and colleague in third trimester abortion …, both in Wichita and Albuquerque. Susan was drawn to abortion … by her sense of justice, which never wavered. … Together, we helped create a model of abortion.” LifeSiteNews.com reports that Shelly Sella emphasized that Susan Robinson had “no regrets” and that she was “very pleased about the whole business” before she died. Jonathon Van Maren wrote, “Reading the news about Robinson, my mind was immediately drawn to two videos I had seen her in. The first was After Tiller, a 2013 documentary featuring four late-term abortionists, which I reviewed over a decade ago. It struck me that two of the featured abortionists – Susan Robinson and Leroy Carhart – are now dead, while Warren Hern and Shelly Sella are retired.” The second was the video footage published by David Daleiden of the Center for Medical Progress in his bombshell undercover investigation exposing the abortion industry and the trafficking of baby body parts. At one point, the late Susan Robinson tells Daleiden, “The fetus is a tough little object, and taking it apart … is very difficult,” Robinson tells Daleiden at one point. “I mean, taking it apart on day one is very difficult.” Later: “You go in there, and you go, ‘Am I getting the uterus, or the fetus? Oh good, fetus. [Robinson made a stabbing sound] What have I got? Nothing. Let's try again.'” Van Maren concludes, “Translated: It is hard work to dismember and crush a baby. This was Robinson's sense of justice.” Micah 6:8 says, “[God] has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” Actor Chuck Norris hospitalized And finally, Chuck Norris, the 86-year-old actor and martial arts icon, has been hospitalized in Hawaii following a medical emergency, reports NewsNation.com. The incident occurred on Wednesday on the island of Kauai, though the nature of the emergency has not been disclosed. The hospitalization appeared to be sudden. As recently as Wednesday of this week, Norris was on the phone with a friend while training on the island, cracking jokes, and showing no signs of distress. Norris had been actively training in Kauai in the days before the emergency. A black belt in karate, taekwondo, tang soo do and Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Norris posted a video on his birthday, March 10, showing him sparring with a trainer. NORRIS: "I don't age. I level up." The caption read, “I'm 86 today! Nothing like some playful action on a sunny day to make you feel young. I'm grateful for another year, good health, and the chance to keep doing what I love.” Though largely retired from acting in recent years, Norris has remained active on screen. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark and Timothy Reed Swedish Christian family guilty of “religious extremism” for going to church The European Court of Human Rights refused to hear an appeal of a Swedish Christian family in a case involving parental rights and religious freedom. Back in 2022, officials in Sweden separated Daniel and Bianca Samson from their two eldest daughters. The state found no evidence of abuse but accused the family of “religious extremism” for simply attending church three times a week. Morales Sancho, Legal Counsel for Alliance Defending Freedom International, stated, “The element of religious discrimination is also unmistakable in this case. The state labeled the family as religious extremists solely because of their active practice of their Christian faith.” Psalm 14:4 asks, “Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, who eat up My people as they eat bread, and do not call on the LORD?” Swedish population embraces sexual perversion Sadly, people in Sweden are the most likely to view homosexuality as morally acceptable in a recent Pew Research survey. The study surveyed 30,000 people across 25 countries. People in European countries were also among the most likely to be morally accepting of homosexuality, abortion, and divorce.   Christianity's decline in England People in Britain are worried about the decline of Christianity in the nation. A study by Whitestone Insight found that 52% of Brits believe that drifting from their Christian roots is bad for future generations. Fifty-eight percent also said that Christianity plays a beneficial role in public life.  This comes as Christian identification has declined. Only 44% of adults in Britain identified as Christian last year, down from 54% in 2018. Carrie Prejean, who objected to Zionism, was fired by Trump's religious liberty commissionIn the United States, a member of the U.S. President's Religious Liberty Commission, Carrie Prejean Boller, was removed from her position after she registered opposition to Zionism last month.  A recent convert to Catholicism, Boller challenged the tenets of Zionism, claiming they were incompatible with her faith. She also sent a letter to President Donald Trump after her removal, explaining her misgivings. She appeared on the podcast of LifeSiteNews.com editor John-Henry Western. BOLLER: “I know there's three Catholics that are thinking about running for president in 2028 so I don't think now is the time to really dismiss Catholics, fire Catholics, remove Catholics, simply because I'm standing up for my Catholic faith. “So, I'm hopeful that he's going to make the right decision. If I don't have my religious freedom on a Religious Freedom Commission, it's not a religious freedom commission.” Christian workplaces thrive Employees in Christian-led workplaces report high levels of engagement in their work according to a new report.  The State of the Christian Workplace 2026 report released new data on 40,000 employees in over 400 Christian organizations in the U.S. Sixty-one percent of employees in Christian-led workplaces reported being engaged in their work. These engagement levels are nearly twice that of the U.S. workforce overall.  Jay Bransford, President & CEO of Best Christian Workplaces, noted, “Engaged employees bring energy, enthusiasm, commitment, and passion that directly fuel Kingdom impact.” Colossians 3:23-24 says, “Whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.” U.S. federal workforce shrunk by 10.3% Pew Research reports that the U.S. federal workforce shrank by 10.3 percent in 2025.  Nearly 350,000 people quit, retired, were laid off, or otherwise left the federal government last year. That's an 80 percent increase compared to 2024. Agencies with the most job cuts included the U.S. Agency for International Development, the National Endowments for the Arts and the Humanities, and the Education Department. 18-year-old rescues brother from axe-wielding man And finally, an 18-year-old is thanking God after protecting his brother from an ax-wielding man in Florida over the weekend.  Fox News reports Leodan Pino and his 16-year-old brother were closing up a car wash in Ocala. That's when the suspect approached while yelling and threatening.  Pino told the man he had to leave. The man refused and pulled out an ax.  Thankfully, Pino is a military recruit and trained in mixed martial arts. He proceeded to execute a take down and subdued the suspect until police arrived.  Listen to his comments afterward.  PINO: “I'm very thankful that God gave me the opportunity and gave me the strength to be able to control that situation. Very thankful that I was the one closing with my brother and no one else was. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Russian forces destroyed 450 Ukrainian Baptist churches According to a report published earlier this year by Mission Eurasia, a parachurch ministry dedicated to equipping churches in and around Ukraine, Russian forces have damaged or destroyed at least 737 religious buildings since the start of the full-scale invasion in 2022. Of the 737 buildings affected, about 450 were Baptist churches. Baptists, while the largest Evangelical population in Ukraine, represent only 1 percent to 2 percent of the overall population, revealing that Russian forces are deliberately targeting Baptists in their violent campaign across Ukraine. In 1 John 3:13, Jesus said, “Do not be surprised, my brothers and sisters, if the world hates you.” Hegseth says US has ‘iron-clad will' in Iran war War Secretary Pete Hegseth told reporters on Thursday the United States will continue its attacks on Iran for as long as necessary, saying “We are in it to win it!”, reports NewsNation. Donalds holds Governor Walz accountable for Somali fraud On March 4th, Republican Congressman Byron Donalds of Florida asked Democratic Minnesota Governor Tim Walz some tough questions about allegations of fraud tied to the Somali community in Minnesota during a House Oversight Committee hearing, reports ZeroHedge.com. DONALDS: “Was your office notified of these fraud allegations?” WALZ: “Not me.” DONALDS: “Specifically, we have it under sworn testimony in the Oversight Committee that your former chief of staff was notified directly by these various commissioners about the fraud in Minnesota.” WALZ: “Could be correct.” DONALDS: “So, are you saying that your chief of staff didn't notify you?” WALZ: “I'm saying I don't recall whether he did at that time or not, but we took action. So, I'm assuming, when we put our budgets together, based on that, we put a package together for that legislative session.” DONALDS: “Let's talk about budgets, Governor Walz. Feeding Our Future went from $307,000 in 2018 to $199 million in 2021. Are you aware of this increase in budgetary costs from Feeding Our Future?” WALZ: “Not specifically, but I know it increased during the pandemic.” DONALDS: “The Housing Stabilization Services went from $27 million in 2021 to $105 million in 2024. Are you aware of this increase, Governor Walz?” WALZ: “Not specifically, but I know it increased.” DONALDS: “Autism Centers went from $24 million in 2019 to $342 million in 2024. Are you aware of that?” WALZ: “Not specifically again. But yes, we know the budget increased.” DONALDS: “Integrated Community Supports went from $4.6 million in 2021 to $170 million in 2024. Are you aware of that?” WALZ: “Again, not specifically on the numbers, but it's the budget.” DONALDS: “Governor Walz, you have to submit a budget to your legislature every single year, like every governor has to do. If you're not aware of these increases, what was your office doing?” WALZ: “Everyone is balanced. My budget is about $72 billion. It involves 23 agencies.” DONALDS: “Florida's budget is $115 billion, sir. But what were you doing if you're seeing program increases like this amid allegations of fraud in your state?” Shockingly, $9 billion of taxpayer money was stolen in Minnesota which had been intended for marginalized communities. Planned Parenthood offers Botox injections to supplement abortion income There's a new wrinkle in Planned Parenthood's ever-changing post-Dobbs business plan: The abortion giant has begun offering Botox treatments as a much-needed additional source of income, reports LifeSiteNews.com. Planned Parenthood is in desperate need of new revenue streams after President Donald Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill blocked it from receiving federal Medicaid reimbursements.    As a result, Planned Parenthood Mar Monte — the group's largest affiliate spanning Northern California and Nevada — has been forced to scramble to plug an estimated $100 million revenue gap, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal.   What is unsaid in the Wall Street Journal puff piece is that Planned Parenthood in Northern California and Nevada needs to generate money in new ways in order to subsidize aborting preborn children. Missouri's Personhood bill protects babies from conception Speaking of abortion, Missouri Republican State Senator Mike Moon introduced a resolution which would recognize the personhood of each child in the womb. The bill defines the term "person," under the Missouri state constitution, as including every human being with a unique DNA code regardless of age, including every in utero human child at every stage of biological development from the moment of conception until birth.  Whether you live in Missouri or not, call State Senator Moon's office at 573-751-1480 to thank him for sponsoring the Personhood resolution. Legendary pop star Neil Sedaka died And finally, Neil Sedaka, the Juilliard-trained pop music icon who sold millions of records worldwide and wrote or co-wrote over 1,000 songs, died on February 27th at the age of 86.  According to Parade, Neil Sedaka's most popular songs include chart-toppers like  "Oh! Carol," a 1959 song about his high school sweetheart, Carole King, who is 84 today. “Darling, there will never be another. Cause I love you so. Don't ever leave me. Say you'll never go. I will love you, for my sweetheart No matter what you do. Oh Carol, so in love with you.” “Breakin' Up is Hard to Do” “Comma-comma down, Dooby-doo, down-down Breakin' up is hard to do. Don't take your love away from me. Don't you leave my heart in misery. If you go, then I'll be blue Cause breakin' up is hard to do.” and "Laughter in the Rain." “Strolling along country roads with my baby It starts to rain, it begins to pour. Ooh, how I love the rainy days And the happy way I feel inside” In the days following Sedaka's death, streams of his songs jumped by at least 500 percent. For example, there were 514,000 streams of “Laughter in the Rain.” In his 1982 autobiography, Laughter in the Rain, Sedaka remembered himself as “a Jewish mama's boy” – a resounding understatement that did not reflect how completely Eleanor dominated his life until his mid-20s, reports The Guardian. During his first wave of success, between 1958 and 1963, he handed over five-figure royalty checks, which she cashed and kept, allowing him a $1,000 monthly stipend. Later, when Sedaka discovered that his mother, who had appointed herself his manager, had spent most of his money, he fired her and she attempted suicide. Neil married his wife, Leba, in 1962 with whom he had a son and daughter.  The fact that their marriage lasted six decades is rare in the entertainment industry. Ayatollah Javadi Amoli - one of Iran's most senior Islamic clerics - declared that the nation was "on the verge of a great test" and urged "the shedding of Zionist blood, the shedding of Trump's blood" on state television. Exiled Iranian Prince commends Trump for bombing Iran By contrast, in an interview on CBS' 60 Minutes, Prince Reza Pahlavi, the eldest son of the deposed last Shah of Iran, a leader of the opposition to the Iranian Islamic Republic, commended President Donald Trump for bombing the Iranian military sites. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson and Timothy Reed 90,000 Nigerians displaced due to Islamic violence More than 90,000 Catholic Nigerians have been displaced in the Southern Taraba State since September 2025, reports International Christian Concern. According to the Catholic Diocese of Wukari, over 100 people have been killed and thousands more wounded in that same time frame. U.S. funds United Nations, Dept of Ed, and Nat'l Institutes of Health The Trump administration is still funding the United Nations.  President Donald Trump approved another $3 billion dollars to the international organization in early February, according to Reuters.  The U.S. has averaged $2.5 billion dollars of funding each year for the United Nations, over the last twenty years.  America joined the United Nations back in 1945, and is its largest donor.  And, despite vowing to close down the U.S. Department of Education during his campaign, the president has signed a government funding bill that will jack up the Education Department budget 2025 levels by $217 million for a total of $79 billion. That's $12 billion more than the administration's original request. Plus, the National Institutes of Health gets another increase of $415 million over Fiscal Year 2025. In total, $48.7 billion of taxpayer money will keep this bureaucracy alive and flourishing. Republican states take action to cut property taxes Several Republican-majority states are working to reduce and eliminate property taxes for citizens. North Dakota, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, and Texas have made progress. Plus, Tennesseans will consider a ballot measure this November to eliminate the property tax. Several states are also working to trim or fully end state income taxes, with nine states having zero income tax in 2026.  One-third of young women call themselves homosexual or transgender The Gallup polling organization released new numbers on Americans identifying with a list of sexual perversions.   Now, 9% of U.S. adults call themselves sexually perverted, up from 7% in 2023, and 3.5% in 2012. The increase has occurred with the younger generation primarily. Now, almost a quarter of 20-somethings and roughly one-third of young women call themselves homosexual or transgender. Also, 10% of the 30 to 49-year-olds claim these perverse identities. Transgender murderers kill at 10 times rate of general population As The Worldview reported on February 12, the mass murderer held responsible for perpetrating Canada's worst school shooting in recent history was a man pretending to be a woman, reports LifeSiteNews.com. Jesse Van Rootselaar killed his mother and seven others, and wounded 27, before killing himself in the massacre in a remote town in British Columbia. Another man pretending to be a woman, Robert Westman, was the perpetrator at the Annunciation Catholic School shooting last August. At least five other mass-casualty shootings are attributed to men and women attempting to change their gender. That includes the Aberdeen, Maryland Rite Aid shooting, the STEM School killings in Denver, Colorado, the Club Q massacre in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and the Covenant School massacre in Nashville, Tennessee. Also, the Iowa Perry High School perpetrator appeared to be pushing the transgender agenda. A recent study from National Review found that transgender suspects participate in mass shootings at a rate of 10 times that of the rest of the population. Alabama's Governor signs Child Predator Death Penalty Act Alabama Republican Governor Kay Ivey signed the Child Predator Death Penalty Act into law late last week, reports WVTM13.  This law assigns the death penalty to crimes of first-degree rape, first-degree sodomy, and first-degree sexual assault of victims under age 12. Biblical law assigns a serious penalty to those who kidnap or seize people against their will. Exodus 21:16 says, “Now one who kidnaps someone, whether he sells him or he is found in his possession, shall certainly be put to death.” Kansas governor vetoes law to keep boys out of girls spaces Kansas Democratic Governor Laura Kelly  vetoed a bill passed by the Kansas legislature that would have kept biological males out of women's bathrooms.  The bill would have prosecuted any men, pretending to be women, who trespass in women's spaces, on repeated offenses. Hopefully, the state legislature will override the veto, given that the Republican Party holds a two-thirds majority in both houses.   So far, 20 states have passed laws that ban men from invading women's spaces. Proverbs 17:13 reminds us, “Whoever rewards evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house.” Puerto Rico affirms value of human life from conception Puerto Rico Governor Jenniffer González-Colón  signed a bill that affirms the humanity and dignity of an unborn child, from the moment of conception.   Governor González-Colón said the bill “classifies as first-degree murder the intentional and knowing killing of a pregnant woman, resulting in the death of the unborn child at any stage of gestation within the mother's womb.” This was passed mainly for purposes of homicide and criminal law. While this personhood law does not automatically ban abortion outright in Puerto Rico, pro-lifers are hopeful it will pave the way for future legal protections of unborn babies. 47% of Americans think visitors from other planets have visited Earth  (theme from the movie E.T.) Interest in extraterrestrials and UFOs is at an all-time high in the United States. A “Yougov” survey found 47% of Americans believe extraterrestrials have visited the Earth. Former President Barack Obama says ET's probably exist. But he clarified on Instagram that, “I saw no evidence during my presidency that extraterrestrials have made contact with us.” Pokemon card sells for $16 million And finally, a trading card has netted the highest private sale amount in history.  A Pokeman card took in over $16 million over the weekend. That beats the last world record sale of a 1952 Mickey Mantle baseball card, which sold for $12.6 million in 2022. There were only 41 of this particular Pokemon card produced in 1998. That compares to 75 billion Pokemon cards printed in 2025. Pokeman is a game wherein the players play-act the harnessing of the power wielded by demons or monsters. Extra print stories United States military strikes ISIS in Syria The US military conducted strikes on more than 30 ISIS targets in Syria since the beginning of February.  According to US Central Command, or CENTCOM, the attacks "struck ISIS infrastructure and weapons storage targets with precision munitions delivered by fixed-wing, rotary-wing, and unmanned aircraft." CENTCOM Commander Brad Cooper said, “Striking these targets demonstrates our continued focus and resolve for preventing an ISIS resurgence in Syria. Operating in coordination with coalition and partner forces to ensure the enduring defeat of ISIS makes America, the region and the world safer."  More than 50 ISIS terrorists have reportedly been killed in the past couple of months by the United States military. Tensions remain high between the US and the Middle East, with all eyes on potential military action in Iran.  US House passes SAVE Act The U.S. House of Representatives passed the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act requiring those who vote in American elections to provide proof of citizenship. The bill passed 218-213, with every House Republican voting in favor of the measure. Texas Democrat Henry Cuellar also crossed the aisle to vote for the law. The law is touted by Republicans as a simple way to secure American elections and to eliminate cheating and foreign influence. Americans also overwhelmingly favor the requirement of a photo ID to cast a vote. However, the bill faces a hard road in the Senate, with Republicans holding only 53 seats, but needing 60 votes to pass the SAVE Act. Jesse Strang, a 17-year-old male pretending to be a female while wearing a dress, reportedly killed 10 people including himself.  He also injured 25 people. It's Canada's deadliest school shooting in decades.   The shooting took place at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School in northeastern British Columbia which has fewer than 200 students enrolled in Grades 7 through 12. Chris Elston, a Canadian pro-family activist, said, “He was a young man who needed serious help for his mental health. And the app saw over 22.2 million active users on the first Sunday of the year. This marks a 20% growth from last year. Countries with record levels of engagement include Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, and El Salvador.   Only 31% o Protestants read Bible daily In the United States, new analysis from Lifeway Research found most Protestant churchgoers don't read the Bible on a daily basis. Seventeen percent of churchgoers read the Bible at least monthly. Fourteen percent read weekly. Thirty percent read a few times a week. And only 31% read the Bible daily. However, the percentage of churchgoers who read the Bible daily or at least a few times a week is now 61%. That's up from 36% in 2007. The FDA is supposed to be conducting a safety review of mifepristone, one of the drugs used in chemical abortions. Republicans are accusing the agency of dragging its feet on the study. And that's because of this chemical abortion.” U.S. homicides down 20% The Major Cities Chiefs Association released its latest report on violent crime in the U.S. The report collects data from 67 of America's biggest police departments. Compared to 2024, reported homicides were down nearly 20% last year. And reported violent crimes are falling after a surge of reports during the COVID-era shutdowns. 130,000 new American jobs The United States added 130,000 jobs in January, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Analysts expected only 55,000 jobs. It's the biggest job growth in over a year. The gains were led by healthcare, social assistance, and construction.  The unemployment rate remained slightly elevated at 4.3%. 92% of Americans like religious themes in movies & TV And finally, a new survey found most Americans are open to religious themes in movies and TV shows. Karmella Borashan of the Assyrian International Council addressed the International Religious Freedom Summit in Washington, D.C. last week. She warned, “Christianity is fading from the Middle East and [Christians] are placed in the mercy of the perpetrators. Once we had 1.5 million Christians; now we have only less than 300,000 left.” Assyrian Christians, in particular, face persecution from Muslim Jihadists in Syria and Iraq. Hebrews 13:3 says, “Remember the prisoners as if chained with them—those who are mistreated—since you yourselves are in the body also.” U.S. and Hungary partner to advance religious freedom Speaking of the Middle East, the United States and Hungary  signed an agreement last week to advance religious freedom in the region. The U.S. Department of State noted, “Christians are the most persecuted religious group worldwide, yet atrocities and attacks against them too often go unaddressed. Such persecution presents a threat to American security and undermines the values upon which our nation was built.” Hungary has already been supporting suffering believers for years through its office of Aid for Persecuted Christians. The new agreement is focused on aiding the church in sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East. More Gen Zers attending church in New Zealand Baptist churches in New Zealand are seeing increased interest from young people.  Gen Z has reportedly been leading a rise in church attendance in the West, known as the “quiet revival.” The 2025 Annual Report for the Baptist Churches of New Zealand noted similar findings for its young people. Youth attendance in these churches increased 24% between 2022 and 2024. And people under the age of 25 accounted for nearly 60% of baptisms reported.  Trump tosses Obama's global warming policy In the United States, the Trump administration is expected to repeal an Obama-era climate change policy this week. The policy is known as the Endangerment Finding. It claimed that greenhouse gases, like carbon dioxide, are a danger to public health. The finding has been the legal basis for regulating greenhouse gas emissions.  The Environmental Protection Agency plans to rescind the rule, making it “the largest act of deregulation in the history of the United States.”  Is social media addictive to kids? Major social media companies are facing landmark trials this year for how their platforms affect children.  A case against Google-owned YouTube and Meta-owned Instagram begins this week. The companies face accusations that their platforms were designed to be addictive for kids.  The platforms TikTok and Snap were initially named in the lawsuit, but settled for undisclosed amounts.  Floridian Christian defended for objecting to pro-abort COVID shot Liberty Counsel recently filed an appeal on behalf of a Christian who lost his job for not getting the COVID-19 shot, reports LifeSiteNews.com. Christian Marin worked for Nemours Children's Hospital in Florida. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he refused to get the shot due to his pro-life beliefs. The hospital fired him in 2021. And the Florida Commission on Human Relations sided with the hospital in 2023. Liberty Counsel Founder and Chairman Mat Staver said, “Nemours [Hospital] violated Marin's religious protections and should be held accountable.” RFK partners with Christian recovery programs for addicts & homeless The Trump administration is welcoming faith-based organizations to participate in a new recovery program for drug addiction and homelessness. U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. made the announcement last week at Prevention Day. Lai is a British Citizen and an adherent of the Catholic Church. World journalists are marking the case as a worldwide setback for freedom of speech and freedom of the press. The United Kingdom home office has responded to the news. The Hong Kong Free Press reports that “British national status holders will be able to immigrate into the U.K. with their children. The office estimates that 26,000 people will arrive in the U.K. over the next five years.” Thousands of Tanzanians murdered Political upheaval, tyranny, and blood in the streets is the order of the day in Tanzania over the last few months.  Some reports have revealed the government of President Samia Suluhu Hassan killed thousands of Tanzanians. Hassan is a Muslim who was re-elected in a landslide victory last October, marred by accusations of massive fraud.  That's when the African country was plunged into chaos and rioting.  The bloodshed and terror has gone on for months, reports The Washington Stand. In an effort to conceal the atrocities taking place there, the government has reportedly shut down the internet. Tanzania is at least nominally Christian with a 57 percent Christian population and a 37 percent Muslim population, as the Muslim creep hits south Saharan Africa. Christian martyrdom grows with Muslim population in Nigeria Islamic influence is growing in Nigeria as well — a nation where 56 percent of the population is Muslim and 43 percent is Christian. This has resulted in the martyrdom of 50,000 Christians and the displacement of millions of Christians from their homeland.   Pray for our Christian brothers and sisters and the people of Tanzania, Nigeria, and Uganda.  Civilian killings continue in Nigeria Last Tuesday, almost 200 Nigerians were killed by gunmen in the communities of Woro and Katsina, reports the International Center for Transitional Justice. Woro is located in the western Nigerian state of Kwara, while Katsina is in the northern region of the country. Psalm 35:1 says, “Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.” War Department will no longer work with Harvard War Secretary Pete Hegseth announced that the War Department will no longer send military officers to Harvard. He slammed the university for what he called its support of terrorism and the Chinese Communist Party.   Hegseth said, “Too many of our officers came back looking too much like Harvard — heads full of globalist and radical ideologies that do not improve our fighting ranks.” The War Department is set to re-evaluate all Ivy League school partnerships.  Virginia Democrats unveil gerrymandered congressional map Democrat lawmakers in Virginia put forward a new congressional map heading into the midterm elections this November. The Old Dominion state map heavily favors Democrats, giving them four extra seats, while the Republicans would lose four seats. This comes after the Supreme Court ruled that the new congressional map for California was valid, giving Democrats five additional seats. Virginia Democrats swept the last election, winning races for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and Attorney General.  All told, gerrymandering in Virginia, California, and a few other states should yield the Democrats an additional 5 to 9 seats in Congress in 2026. And gerrymandering in Texas, North Carolina, and Missouri could yield the Republicans an additional 6 to 10 seats in the upcoming election. Connecticut works to expand abortion access Connecticut is launching a billboard campaign to promote abortion and death, reports LifeSiteNews. The campaign, sponsored by the Reproductive Equity Now Foundation, is advertising the state's commitment to make the killing of unborn children more accessible. Billboards will announce a state-provided pro-abortion hotline.  Connecticut Democrat Attorney General William Tong talked about his state's culture of death. He said, “Abortion is safe, legal and accessible here in Connecticut, and that's the way it's going to stay.”  But Proverbs 31:9 instructs us to “Open your mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.” GOP Rep chastises NBC & NFL for Bad Bunny's foul lyrics And finally, Sunday's Super Bowl half-time show turned into one big leftist political statement with Benito Ocasio, known as Bad Bunny, and a few other characters, who openly opposed President Trump's “America First” policies.   To his shame, the Puerto Rican singer sang a bunch of foul-mouthed, sexually-explicit lyrics in Spanish. Republican Congressman Randy Fine of Florida did not pull any punches in his X post. He wrote, “You can't say the f-word on live TV. Bad Bunny's disgusting halftime show was illegal. Had he said these lyrics -- and all of the other disgusting and pornographic filth -- in English on live TV, the broadcast would have been pulled down and the fines would have been enormous. “We are sending FCC Chairman Brendan Carr a letter calling for dramatic action, including fines and broadcast license reviews, against the NFL, NBC, and Bad Bunny. The move marks the first publicly acknowledged presence of American forces on the ground following U.S. airstrikes in Nigeria on Christmas Day, reports The Christian Post. A senior U.S. military commander told Reuters the deployment was carried out in agreement with the Nigerian government. Nigerian Defense Minister Christopher Musa confirmed that U.S. personnel were active in the country. Team USA skiers not proud of America because of Trump (Audio: Olympic theme song) American freestyle skiers are facing intense backlash on social media after comments made about representing the United States at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan, Italy amid the Trump administration's recent immigration enforcement operations in the U.S., reports Fox News. Speaking to the media ahead of Friday's opening ceremony, two-time Olympian and Olympic gold medalist Chris Lillis, who's competing in the men's aerials, said, "I feel heartbroken about what's happening in the United States. I'm pretty sure you're referencing I.C.E. and some of the protests and things like that. I think that, as a country, we need to focus on respecting everybody's rights." From the Old Testament to the New [Testament], God has allowed us to set up our civil societies and have separate nations. Immigration is not something that's frowned upon in Scripture. In fact, it's welcome. We're to welcome the sojourner and love our neighbor as ourself. “When people cite passages out of the Old Testament, they say, well, you're supposed to take care of the sojourner and the neighbor, treat them as yourself, welcome then in. And we have not had that. “When Biden and Harris opened the borders wide for four years, we had as many as 20 million illegals come across the country. And we all know many dangerous people -- hardened criminals, child molesters, rapists, murderers, all the rest, terrorists -- who came into the country. We did not take care of our borders. “Sovereign borders are Biblical and good and right and they're just. It's not because we hate the people on the outside. It's because we love the people on the inside.” Planned Parenthood drops lawsuit trying to get federal funding back Planned Parenthood has thrown in the towel on its efforts to preserve its primary federal funding, voluntarily dismissing its lawsuit against the defunding provision of the Trump administration's signature legislation, reports LifeSiteNews.com. Last July, President Donald Trump signed into law his “One Big Beautiful Bill Act”, a wide-ranging policy package that includes a one-year ban on federal tax dollars going through Medicaid to any that provides abortions for reasons other than rape, incest, or supposed threats to the mother's life.  According to Operation Rescue, 54 abortion mills shut their doors in 2025, 36 of which were Planned Parenthood abortuaries. The incident has reignited long-standing fears of targeted violence against Christian communities and intensified calls for lawful self-defense amid persistent insecurity. Military sources confirmed that the attack occurred at about 1 a.m. last Thursday when Islamic Fulani militias stormed the site, opening fire on miners who had remained overnight. At the graveside, grief gave way to anger, frustration, and an unmistakable sense of abandonment. Weeping relatives and neighbors spoke of fathers and sons lost — not in open combat, but while struggling to survive in an economy that has pushed many into mining at night which has been banned. Trump warns Iran 'time is running out' as US military builds up in Gulf President Donald Trump has warned Iran that "time is running out" to negotiate a deal on its nuclear program following the steady build-up of US military forces in the Gulf, reports the British Broadcasting Corporation. The US president said a "massive Armada" was "moving quickly, with great power, enthusiasm, and purpose" towards Iran, referring to a large US naval fleet. In response, Iran's Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, said the country's armed forces were ready "with their fingers on the trigger" to "immediately and powerfully respond" to any aggression by land or sea. Trump's latest warning follows his promise that Washington will intervene to help those involved in the brutal and unprecedented crackdown on protests in the country earlier this month. Apple cider vinegar was sprayed on Rep. Ilhan Omar A man accused of attacking Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, a Somali-American, during a town hall event on Tuesday reportedly sprayed apple cider vinegar on her, reports Fox News. Anthony James Kazmierczak, age 55, was seen on video lunging at Congresswoman Omar while spraying an unknown substance on her shirt out of a syringe. Right before the attack, Omar called for the resignation or impeachment of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, following two fatal shootings involving federal immigration enforcement agents in Minneapolis. Man paints over heretical billboard to read 'Jesus is God' A viral video shows a man painting over a heretical billboard campaign in California, altering the message to read, “The Bible says … Jesus is ___ God,” reports The Christian Post. The undated video shows an unidentified man atop a billboard platform with the Los Angeles skyline behind it as he paints over the word “Not” in the ad which had initially stated “Jesus is Not God”, transforming the billboard into a proclamation of faith.  World's Last Chance, the group behind the billboard, claims the message is part of “four billboard themes that dare to shatter the chains of long-held misconceptions.” In addition to the Jesus billboard, which adds the text, “Jesus did not pre-exist in Heaven,” the group's website lists three others, including one that attacks Trinitarian theology and another promoting the so-called “flat earth” theory. In addition to the billboard campaign, the World's Last Chance website features several videos purportedly “debunking” the deity of Jesus and the Trinity.  The billboard campaign has been reportedly spotted in California, Georgia, and other states. In a January 21st video, author and Living Waters founder and CEO Ray Comfort responded to the billboard remodeling job with a stark warning about the impact of false teaching in the public square. Persecuting Christians is a booming business in the Muslim-majority nation, and the country is earning large sums of money from arresting Christ followers, reports International Christian Concern. Fines and bail amounts imposed by Iranian courts have reached hundreds of thousands of dollars in recent years, financially crippling poor Christian families trying to keep their loved ones out of prison. For years, the Middle Eastern nation has targeted Christians for their faith in Christ through intimidation, physical abuse, and imprisonment. But what's often overlooked are the exorbitant bail amounts doled out to Christ followers simply to keep themselves out of jail. Joseph Shahbazian, leader of a Christian house church, was arrested in June 2020 for his Christian activities and given a bail amount of $163,000. After pleading with the court and handing over the deeds to his and his mother's apartments, the court accepted $109,000 on Shahbazian's behalf. Proverbs 22:22-23 says, "Do not rob the poor because he is poor, nor oppress the afflicted at the gate; For the LORD will plead their cause, and plunder the soul of those who plunder them." Shahbazian was released from prison in 2023 after serving a little more than a year in jail, but was rearrested in 2025 for his continued Christian activities and sentenced to an additional 10 years in jail. According to Open Doors, Iran is the sixth most difficult country worldwide for Christians. Trump ends all tax-funded research with aborted baby parts On January 22nd, the 53rd anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision, President Donald Trump ended federal funding for research involving the use of aborted baby parts. It's a major victory for pro-life advocates that halts taxpayer support for such studies effective immediately, reports The Daily Wire. The National Institutes of Health announced the policy change on Thursday. The move prohibits the use of funds for research involving aborted baby parts obtained from elective abortions, while allowing ethical fetal tissue from sources such as miscarriages when donors consent. NIH Director Jay Bhattacharya said, “Someone who has had a miscarriage and wants to do a meaningful thing and they donate the tissue from the miscarriage to science, that's still allowed. The only ban is on, you have an abortion specifically to terminate the baby, and then the tissue then gets sold, that's what's being banned,” something he described as “morally abhorrent.” Rescue Resurrection protesters plead with Trump to ban abortion pill People from as far away as California and Georgia came to the nation's capital Thursday morning to plead with the Trump administration to ban the abortion kill pill, which is now easily available by mail and has led to a shocking increase of abortions following the Supreme Court's overturn of Roe v. I noticed the stock market went up pretty substantially after we announced it.” BARTIROMO: “The [Gross Domestic Product] of Greenland is like $3.3 billion, but people are valuing Greenland between $50 billion and almost a trillion [dollars]. So, what are you willing to pay for Greenland?” TRUMP: “Well, I'm not going to have to pay anything.” The president has described U.S control of the Arctic island as critical to both national and international security.  Indeed, Greenland will be an essential property to facilitate the much-anticipated Golden Dome, the U.S. missile defense system that will destroy enemy missiles before they launch or while they are in flight. It will be patterned after Israel's Iron Dome missile defense system. TRUMP: “We're going to have total access to Greenland. We're going to have all military access that we want. We're going to be able to put what we need on Greenland. We're talking about national security and international security. We are building the Golden Dome, and it'll be Israel times probably a hundred.” 7 Democrats voted with GOP to pass DHS/ICE spending bill Seven Democrats voted with Republicans on Thursday to pass a Department of Homeland Security spending bill, despite opposition from their own Democratic leadership, reports Fox News. The DHS bill will be bundled alongside three other spending bills, totaling a combined $1.2 trillion in federal spending. The entire package's passing is a significant step toward averting a government shutdown come January 30th. It passed in a 220-207 vote with the help of seven Democrats. Only one Republican, Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky, voted in opposition.  According to TheHill.com, the seven Democrats who sided with Republicans were Reps. Henry Cuellar of Texas, Jared Golden of Maine, Marie Perez of Washington, Laura Gillen of New York, Don Davis of North Carolina, Tom Suozzi of New York and Vicente Gonzalez of Texas. They reportedly left a video message for their children in the event of their arrests. In it, they tell their children, “If one day you do not see mom and dad anymore, remember the hymn we sang together today.” The couple proceeds to sing “As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds His people.” Produced by Maranatha Music, you might recognize Messianic Praise's version of the song “As the Mountains.” MESSIANIC PRAISE: “As the mountains are around Jerusalem, the Lord is all around His people. Trump threatens to invoke Insurrection Act amid unrest after second I.C.E.-involved shooting On Thursday, President Donald Trump threatened to invoke the Insurrection Act of 1807 to restore order amid ongoing riots against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials in Minneapolis in the wake of a second I.C.E.-involved shooting Wednesday night, reports the Christian Post. In a Truth Social post, Trump wrote, "If the corrupt politicians of Minnesota don't obey the law and stop the professional agitators and insurrectionists from attacking the Patriots of I.C.E., who are only trying to do their job, I will institute the Insurrection Act, which many Presidents have done before me, and quickly put an end to the travesty that is taking place in that once great State." Trump's threat came the morning after an I.C.E. officer shot an illegal Venezuelan immigrant in the leg after he allegedly fled during a traffic stop and attempted to beat the officer with a shovel, according to the Department of Homeland Security. DHS claimed the officer was "fearing for his life and safety" when the suspect "violently assaulted" him. The suspect was reportedly in stable condition, and the I.C.E. agent remains hospitalized. The shooting came a week after an I.C.E. agent fatally shot Renee Good, video of whom shows her driving her vehicle into him after refusing to comply with officers. Women's sports and private spaces should be protected. “There are two sexes. That is not something we should be afraid to say in this country. Men and women are different, but inherently equal. We hope and expect that the Supreme Court will rule in the right way on this matter.” Charges dropped against Red Rose pro-life rescuers After a successful pro-life rescue that temporarily closed a Pennsylvania abortion mill, involved arrests and initial jail time of several days, six Red Rose Rescue activists had all criminal charges against them dismissed on Monday at the Delaware County Courthouse, reports LifeSiteNews.com. The rescuers included Dr. Monica Miller, Eric Holmberg, Will Goodman, ChristyAnne Collins, Patty Woodworth, and Joan Andrews Bell. Regarding their successful July 31 rescue at the Delaware County Women's Abortion Mill, Dr. Miller said, “We came out on top for sure.” At the time, the six Red Rose Rescuers were peacefully offering roses to mothers going into the chemical abortion facility along with resources for alternatives to abortion. They also provided information to abortion center staff regarding how they could depart the abortion industry and access support from former abortion staff members who had become pro-life. The rescuers were arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and “defiant” trespass after they refused to leave the abortion mill at the request of police officers, to whom they explained “we cannot leave as long as the unborn are scheduled to be killed.” Proverbs 24:11 says, “Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter.” As a result of their pro-life rescue efforts, the abortion mill temporarily closed. Every woman walked out of there without the kill pills. Miller added, “That meant that at least the unborn children had a reprieve of their executions. And this gave women an opportunity to change their minds.” Early peanut exposure in babies tied to sharp drop in food allergies Historically, parents have been advised to avoid feeding peanuts to babies for the first few years of life, but emerging research has confirmed that introducing them sooner — as early as infancy — could help stave off food allergies, reports Fox News. A 2025 study, led by the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, analyzed medical records from dozens of pediatric practices across the U.S., finding that early introduction of peanuts resulted in a 27% decrease in peanut allergy diagnoses among children and a 38% decrease in overall food allergies. 387th anniversary of first U.S. state's constitution And finally, this past Tuesday, January 14th, was the 387th anniversary of the year Connecticut revealed the world's first written democratic constitution establishing a representative government. On January 14, 1639, the state adopted the Fundamental Orders of Connecticut. As families gathered to welcome 2026, armed Muslim fighters from the Allied Democratic Forces, or ADF, carried out a deadly nighttime incursion, killing at least 15 people on Thursday, January 1. Working with the global Islamic State movement, the ADF is among the most dangerous terrorist groups in Congo. Venezuelan dictator captured in daring U.S. raid Venezuelans are celebrating in the streets. (Audio of celebration) Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro was seized by the United States Army's secretive Delta Force unit in a daring raid on his heavily-secured compound, reports the Daily Mail. CBS News reported that the ultra-elite Delta Force unit was behind the capture of Maduro, and his wife Cilia, in the early hours of Saturday morning. The couple was seized from their bedroom in the dead of night by U.S. forces as they slept, according to CNN. The raid did not lead to any U.S. casualties. The pair was snatched by helicopter from Caracas after they had been monitored by CIA spies, with President Donald Trump giving the order to take them two days ago. President Trump says Maduro and his government have conspired to flood the United States with illegal drugs, and will now face trial in the U.S. on drugs and weapons trafficking charges. Mom upset school secretly socially transitioned her daughter A mother in Maine, named Amber Lavigne, had her parental rights usurped by school officials when a guidance counselor secretly gave her gender-confused 13-year-old daughter a chest binder and referred to her by using a male name and pronouns. A chest binder is used to flatten the breasts of a trans-identified girl to help her pretend to be a boy. With the help of the Goldwater Institute, Lavigne is taking the school to the Supreme Court, reports The Christian Post. LAVIGNE: “I don't want to lose my daughter to the state, even as she grows into an adult, I'll always be her mom.” When she confronted her daughter about the chest binder in her bedroom, she learned that the school guidance counselor had provided it.  LAVIGNE: “This situation really is about my parental rights being violated, about a social worker who had never even had a conversation with me, encouraging my child to keep secrets from me, to tell her, ‘Look, I'm not going to tell your mom, and you don't have to either.' So, she's bringing these breast binders home and hiding them in her room on me. Arkansas Governor in hot water for celebrating Christmas And finally, secularists and atheists alike were predictably furious with Arkansas Republican Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders this past Christmas, reports LifeSiteNews.com. It's just not that they found her professed love for Jesus Christ problematic. It's that she used her position as governor to spread the truth that Jesus Christ is the Savior of Mankind. On December 16, Sanders issued a declaration recalling that “more than two millennia ago in the little town of Bethlehem, far from the centers of power in first-century Rome, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was born in a humble manger.” Sanders added that “on that first Christmas, Christ's arrival was unassuming” and “not focused on the wealthy or powerful but rather on the poor, powerless, and meek.” Sanders then approved an extra day off for state employees on December 26 “in order that [they] may spend this holiday with their families giving thanks for Christ's birth.” The God-hating Freedom From Religion Foundation was livid. In a letter to Governor Sanders, attorney Chris Line said, “State offices are not churches, and gubernatorial proclamations are not sermons. The governor is free to practice her religion privately, but she may not use the authority of the state to promote Christian doctrine as official government speech.” Governor Sanders tweeted, “The Freedom from Religion Foundation took issue with me closing state offices to celebrate Christmas and sent a letter demanding I rescind my proclamation. Christmas is not just a holiday; it's the celebration of Jesus Christ's birth. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Nigerian Muslims killed 14 in Adamawa State Fourteen Nigerians are dead, and four are missing after Boko Haram, a Muslim terrorist group, attacked three villages on the evening of December 29th in Adamawa State, reports International Christian Concern. In addition, numerous homes and businesses were vandalized or burned in the attacks, which struck the villages of Zah, Mubang Yadul, and Kijing. Many villagers fled for their safety. The attackers reportedly fled into the bush before security personnel arrived. The attacks, which occurred days after the U.S. struck ISIS-affiliated Muslim militants in northwest Nigeria, were the latest in a string of assaults on villages in the area to occur around Christmas. MN employees: "Gov. Tim Walz is 100% responsible for massive fraud." Republican Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana took to the Senate floor to address how it's possible that Somalis in Minnesota were able to defraud taxpayers to the tune of $1 billion, possibly $9 billion, through fake non-profits. KENNEDY: “Here's what the Legislative Auditor in Minnesota said: ‘The threat of litigation and the negative press affected how the state politicians use their regulatory power.' “And here's what a fraud investigator in the Attorney General's office said: ‘There is a perception that forcefully tackling this issue would cause political backlash from the Somali community, which is a core voting block for Democrats.' “One of the other witnesses in the fraud investigation said, ‘Look, the 80,000-voting block folks with Somali ancestry, you got to have their votes to win in Minneapolis. And if you're a Democrat, if you can't win Minneapolis, you can't win in the state.' So, the politicians did nothing.” Senator Kennedy quoted from a social media post in which hundreds of employees of the Minnesota Department of Human Service weighed in. KENNEDY: “Don't just take my word for it, and don't blame the state employees. They tried. In fact, recently the state employees, they just said, ‘Look, we've had enough.' Several hundred employees from the Minnesota Department of Human Service, who administered this program, they posted this. I'm quoting now. '[Democratic] Governor Tim Walz is 100% responsible for massive fraud in Minnesota. We let Tim Walz know of fraud early on.' That's employees talking, hoping for a partnership and stopping fraud. ‘But no, we got the opposite response. Tim Walz systematically retaliated against whistleblowers.'” Jeremiah 9:6 says, “'You live in the midst of deception; in their deceit they refuse to acknowledge Me,'” declares the LORD.” Additional massive fraud at Somali-run day care centers in Minnesota In a related story, YouTuber Nick Shirley, age 23, has exposed what appears to be massive additional fraud in taxpayer-subsidized, Somali-run day care centers. This has prompted the Department of Health and Human Services to announce that it is derailing the $185-million gravy train.  HHS Deputy Secretary Jim O'Neil said on X, “We have frozen all child care payments to the state of Minnesota,” reports The Blaze. O'NEIL:” “Intrepid journalists have made shocking and credible allegations of extensive fraud in Minnesota's child care programs. We believe the state of Minnesota has allowed scammers and fake day cares to siphon millions of taxpayer dollars over the past decade.” Muslim NYC Mayor sworn in with Quran Incoming New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani took his New Year's Eve oath of office on his grandfather's Quran and a 200-year-old Quaran from the New York Public Library. It marked the first time a New York City mayor used Islam's misguided text to be sworn in, reports the Associated Press. The 34-year-old Democrat became mayor in a long-closed subway station beneath City Hall, the first Muslim, the first South Asian and the first African-born person to hold that position. Most of Mamdani's predecessors were sworn in on a Bible, although the oath to uphold the federal, state, and city constitutions does not require the use of any religious text. MAMDAMI: “We will replace the frigidity of rugged individualism with the warmth of collectivism.” CT Governor to give $10 million to abortion giant Planned Parenthood Connecticut Democrat Governor Ned Lamont has announced he intends to give $10.4 million of taxpayers' money to Planned Parenthood of Southern New England, in order to compensate for Trump's decision to defund the abortion giant, reports LifeSiteNews.com. The Connecticut Mirror reported the governor's latest spending proposal, part of $41 million to make up for lost federal funds for a variety of so-called “services,” bringing the total committed for that purpose up to almost $168 million. Parents: School cancels Christmas concert over “Jesus” lyrics And finally, parents in Fonda, New York are furious after the annual elementary school Christmas concert was canceled. Many suspect it's because a teacher was offended by the name of Jesus, reports Christian talk show host Todd Starnes. Children at Fonda-Fultonville Elementary School had worked very hard to learn songs for the concert.  But there was one particular song that caused a bit of controversy. The song is called, “Oh, What a Special Night” and it tells the birth of Christ from the perspective of the animals around the manger scene. At the end of each verse, the children sang, “Thank you God for Baby Jesus.” The school district confirmed that the song was removed from the concert under guidance from their legal department.  Shortly after that, the concert was canceled. On Facebook, one parent wrote, “So tired of this woke culture, where one parent can call in and complain, and ruin it for the entire district.” Another said, “It is CHRISTmas. If someone doesn't agree with that, then they don't need to participate, and their parents don't need to attend. … The school has ruined the countless hours of practice the other kids have put in, as well as the joy and excitement they feel when they see their families in the audience. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Canadian pastor released from prison with gag order Canadian Pastor Derek Reimer has been released from prison in Calgary, Alberta on strict conditions as he is still serving his one-year house arrest and two-year probation for objecting to a Drag Queen Story Hour for little kids in a 90-second, peaceful conversation with Saddletowne Library Manager Shannon Slater. Reimer is not allowed to use any form of social media. Plus, leftist government officials have actually restricted him from attending the Street Church in Calgary and The Remnant Church in Red Deer because his parole officer is scared he will “rally up the mob.” Pastor Artur Pawlawski of Street Church told The Worldview, “Pastor Reimer has been totally muzzled by the Canadian courts. He has been prohibited from talking with anyone including his family, his friends, churchgoers, or reporters. It's a total, Soviet-style gag order. If he talked to anyone about what is happening he will go straight back to prison.” Pawlawski knows first-hand about these kind of oppressive government tactics. He said, “I grew up behind the Iron Curtain. Communists muzzled the public.  If you dared to expose them by telling the truth, they would do a show trial, imprison you, and torture you. “ Not surprisingly, the Canadian judge insisted that any Biblical objection to the sinful lifestyle of transgenders and homosexuals on the part of Pastor Reimer would qualify as “hate speech.” Calgary Pastor Shawn Hamm said, “The courts in Alberta are corrupt and they have been turned into a political circus! Jeffress: “None of the government's business” what pastors preach On Wednesday, Pastor Robert Jeffress of First Baptist Dallas had a message for  a White House religious liberty panel. JEFFRESS: “What I preach from the pulpit of the First Baptist Church of Dallas, or any pastor preaches from his church is none of the government's business.” (clapping) In testimony before the U.S. Department of Justice's Religious Liberty Commission, Jeffress shared their experience with the Internal Revenue Service during a controversial church tax inquiry in 2021 under former President Joe Biden. Jeffress' statement to the Commission included comments he initially shared with his congregation on Sunday, in which he recounted how the atheist legal organization Freedom From Religion Foundation filed a complaint with the IRS after former Vice President Mike Pence and then-HUD Secretary Dr. Ben Carson shared their faith testimonies of “how they came to know Jesus as Savior” at Jeffress' church in June 2020.  Jeffress said, “It's interesting that we did not hear anything from the IRS for 11 months. Then, four months after Joe Biden became president, on May 6, 2021, the IRS informed our church that they were initiating an inquiry into the tax-exempt status of our church because of our patriotic service.” He added that he does not endorse candidates from the pulpit, but “we encourage Christians to vote their biblical conviction.” Ironically, on November 1, 2020, the same day he addressed his church about the presidential race, President Biden was speaking at the Sharon Baptist Church in Philadelphia, where the former president and the church's pastor “openly encouraged members to vote for Biden while both men were standing in front of a campaign banner in the church.” Jeffress noted, “When we pointed out the contrast to the IRS between our non-endorsement policy and this church's flagrant disregard for the Johnson Amendment, the IRS officials conducting the examination had no response.” While the inquiry lasted more than a year, the IRS eventually acknowledged in July 2022 that First Baptist Dallas “did not engage in any improper political intervention or violate the U.S. tax code.”  Despite the favorable outcome, Jeffress said he wanted to testify before the Commission because while First Baptist Dallas could afford the legal fees, most churches could not — nor, he said, should they have to do so. Elon Musk affirms belief in Creator On The Katie Miller Podcast, billionaire Elon Musk revealed that he looks up to the Creator at the 12:37-mark of a nearly hour-long conversation, reports The Christian Post. MILLER: “Who do you look up to the most?” MUSK: “The Creator.” MILLER: “What's your current position on God?” MUSK: “God is the Creator.” MILLER: “You don't believe in God, though, do you?” MUSK: “Well, I believe those this universe came for something. People have different labels.” The comments from the Tesla and SpaceX founder are the latest in his publicly evolving views on God and faith. In response to a tweet from a user on X urging him to confess a Creator in May 2022, Musk wrote: "Thank you for the blessing, but I'm OK with going to hell, if that is indeed my destination, since the vast majority of all humans ever born will be there." Describing the reality of hell, Jesus said to those on His left, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.'"  (Matthew 25:41) Subsequently, in 2025, Musk urged his millions of X followers to go to church following the assassination of Charlie Kirk on September 10th.  He also attended Kirk's memorial in Glendale, Arizona on September 21st. 17 pro-lifers arrested for blocking Memphis Planned Parenthood abortion mill And finally, ten men and seven women spent a night in a Memphis jail on December 5th, after staging a peaceful protest in front of the Memphis, Tennessee Planned Parenthood abortion mill, reports LifeSiteNews.com. The protest was organized by “Rescue Resurrection,” a pro-life group planning “rescue” actions across the country. Those arrested included well-known figures in the pro-life movement: Randall Terry, founder of Operation Rescue; Joan Andrews Bell, a longtime pro-life advocate; Terrisa Bukovinac, director of Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising; Nathan Berning, director of Let Them Live; and Dr. Monica Miller of Citizens for Life, among others. Exhausted from spending a sleepless night in an over-crowded holding cell with no beds, Randall Terry said that “this is a very small price to pay to stand up for the babies.” Video footage of the arrests captured by journalist Ford Fischer shows Terry, Bell, and other pro-life protesters being dragged away by police, because they went limp, before being transported to jail.  And there is video of Joan Andrews Bell, a sernior citizen, being carried away by three Memphis Police Officers. Bell was pardoned by President Trump after being sentenced to two years in prison for a prior abortion clinic blockade for which she was prosecuted under President Biden.
