It's six fifteen in the morning ...press play, turn up the volume and join me on my journey. Techno remains one of my favourite go to sounds and this set features some real ear candy played at a little slower pace, the proper stuff of course. Essentially, it could be argued that all electronic music is techno. Well what does it all matter? A rhetorical question of course, i don't expect you to answer. So, heres a selection of tunes you have probably never heard before. After digging deep in my crates for some quality tunage and marvelling in the joy of Ableton Live tip toeing in perfect tandem with Traktor Scratch Pro and the revelation that is Ableton Link.... we have a live set. So, enjoy! And what ever you do- don't believe the hype. *Some tracks mat not be tracklisted due to being unreleased or rare* Original Mix Link: Listen over on Evermix: (Live Recording) https://evermix.fm/mix/f036b9f0-2427-4406-881d-c08ddf5ad973/

Hello everyone:) After weeks of having a messed up laptop, USPS losing my parts in the mail, countless hours of reinstalling Traktor Scratch Pro and dealing with severe DPC latency issues, I am happy to finally be able to upload some sets. This set is strictly techno. I don't play sets like this often, but I needed some bangin' 4 on the floor tunes. I'm going to be changing up my profile to look a bit more professional. Hope you like the new art work!
In this episode, I describe the pros and cons of working with Traktor Pro 2 and Traktor Scratch Pro. I also give Insight on where Native Instruments can improve in the near future.

First Mix made with my Turntables and the Traktor Scratch Pro interface and Software. Hope you like it!
New mix entitled "the fall". The fall is the transition between summer and winter, hot and cold, from one extreme to another. Leaves fall from trees having expired their time and lay scattered across the ground in a colorful display of what seems to be despair for the tree. This is not the case however as the tree is just protecting and preparing itself for the cold weather that is approaching. In the end when spring arrives with warm air and fresh water, new leaves will sprout and the tree will be back to normal, stronger than before... I'm not posting a track listing for this mix. There is various styles of house music so prepare yourself for the ride! This mix was recorded using an Allen & Heath Xone DB4 Digital Mixer , an Allen & Heath Xone K1 Midi Controller, an Allen & Heath Xone K2 Midi Controller, Traktor Scratch Pro 2.7.0, 2 DB Technologies Opera 712DX Self Powered Monitors and a pair of Allen & Heath Xone XD2-53 Headphones. Hello People, how are you doing? I hope you are all having a brilliant start to the summer whatever country you are in. I can't believe it is June already roll on Glasto and the Big Chill. To be honest I've been lacking inspiration for music over the last 6 weeks which is not normal for me. In order to combat this, I listened to the Above and Beyond podcast at full blast in my car then spent a few hours record shopping on Beatport solely for progressive, uplifting and trancier cuts of music. You will be pleased to know that I managed to get some wicked new tunes. I have just bought a Macbook and now have all the hardware and software necessary to start producing my own music. Big shout out to Chevy One and Adam Nyquist from the Jambasha crew and Greg Stainer from Radio 1 Dubai for helping me get setup. Time will tell whether I am any good at doing this or not so watch this space. After owning Serato scratch a few years ago I have also now purchased Traktor Scratch Pro in order to save me burning a million and one CD's every week. I bought it at the same time as the Macbook, I just could not resist. This mix is literally the first time I have plugged it in to use. Even though I am still using CDJ's the controls are slightly different and it will take me a while to get fully upto speed but I can safely say I am very happy with my first outing into the Traktor world. I hope you like the results..... Enjoy the happy uplifting summer tunes and remember if you are listening and liking then please give me a shout to let me know. There is nothing niceer than getting a shout from someone to say the are listening. It sure helps with inspiration for me to keep making this podcast which takes a full day every month. Big Summer Love to you all Rubberfunk X
This is my 3rd mix in 3 weeks! I think i have rediscovered my musical passion...... I just need to buy an Maudio keyboard and I can start my production mission. To follow my trance and breaks mixes I have done a 100minute deep, progressive, techy, house mashup. I am thoroughly loving Traktor Scratch Pro and not having to burn loads of new CD's each week. Big shout out to Grant Wilson and the crew from up the road. Also one of my parents closest friends Sheila is days from dying of cancer. Big Love to her, her husband Ron and their family. These things make you realise how lucky we all are and that the realities of life can be just around the corner at anytime. Enjoy things while you can and be nice to each other. Peace out Rubber. P.s. Webstats show my podcast downloads are going through the roof 1000plus each month but im only getting one or two emails with feedback on the tunes. Let me know if u listening and liking, i really appreciate it. Pass this link on to anyone that may also want to listen.
Rich Korach discovered underground electronic music in 1994, finally encountering the sound that would transform the rest of his life. Growing up just north of Detroit, Rich witnessed performances from some of the early pioneers of techno. Shortly after immersing himself in the underground warehouse scene in Detroit, he became an active DJ himself. The next decade included such highlights as: being a resident DJ for Detroit’s legendary production company, Paxahau, playing gigs at: the Detroit Electronic Music Festival (2005 and 2008), Space – Ibiza, Weekend Club – Berlin, and all across the U.S. Rich even had an impromptu tag session with one of his musical heroes of the time, Richie Hawtin, in 2005. - In late 2008, Rich moved to San Francisco to thwart the cold and live in one of the most diverse and beautiful cities in America. Since then, his performances in the Bay Area underground have caused quite the stir, resulting in a residency with promotions powerhouse As You Like It (AYLI) and a steadily increasing demand for performances. In 2011 he played alongside a wealth of artists, including Tiger and Woods, Deniz Kurtel, Iron Curtis, Matthias Tanzmann, Benoit & Sergio, Dave Aju, Mike Huckaby, Nicolas Jaar, and Lee Curtiss. To say Rich Korach’s sound is an instant classic is understood to those who’ve become converts to his shows. His is an insatiable appetite for the unexpected, which makes watching his next move upward and onward such a joy. - Recorded using Traktor Scratch Pro with vinyl control and a KONTROL X1 for effects/looping.

HIGH ENERGY ..STATE OF THE ART.. CUTTING EDGE DANCE MUSIC......on ACID (not literally....its a genre thing!!!)My first Mix using Traktor Scratch Pro... and definately a "unique" mix for me. Having not been able to mix for a while... after getting a brand new Korg KM-202 mixer with a dead headphone (cue mix) fader...I had to steal a different fader from an old Vestax PMC-05 Pro... and solder it to the Korg KM-202 circuit board (the original parts are GARBAGE!!... so i'm replacing all the faders with much higher quality ones!) But.. Now i'm set! And this is the first product of my technological advancement! A mix... definately on the Darker side.. filled with some of what i consider to be some of the most Cutting Edge dance tracks out right now!! IT'S ...ELECTRO-TECH!! HIGH ENERGY ELECTRO (without too many corny bleeps and tweaks) and Hard TECH HOUSE mixed with tons of tricks.. fx... doubling .. etc. ... lots of ..not so common mixing methods.. that seems to be my style.EXPERIMENTING + TAKING RISKS = CREATIVITY !! .. got it!Tracklist:1- Sweat (On The Walls) - Original Mix - John Tejada - Poker Play Recordings2- Desynchronised - Original Mix - Deadmau5 - Rising 3- Fidelidade - Original Mix - Christian Smith & Gabe - TR4- Godzilla - Original Mix - Dylan Rhymes & Tom Real - Lot495- Godzilla - Fussy Boy Remix - Dylan Rhymes & Tom Real - Lot496- The Things You Say - Dirty South Remix - Cicada - Critical Mass / New State Music7- Rocker - Eric Prydz Remix - Alter Ego - Ultra8- Lollipop Machine - Original Mix - Roman Salzger - Opaque Music9- Not Exactly - Original Mix - Deadmau5 - Mau5trap / Ultra 10- Random scratch and fx tracks.. throughout.So...
