Desde que assumiu, o Brasil fez oito jogos e teve quatro vitórias, dois empates e duas derrotas. O treinador italiano tem quase 60% de aproveitamento. E mais do que isso: fez o Brasil voltar a jogar como o Brasil. Marcio Arruda, da RFI em Paris Apesar de os números de Carlo Ancelotti à frente da equipe brasileira não serem espetaculares até agora, jornalistas especializados apontam uma melhora assustadora no futebol apresentado pela seleção. A mídia espanhola, que conhece de perto o trabalho de Ancelotti, que conquistou 15 títulos em seis temporadas pelo Real Madrid, escreveu após uma vitória brasileira: “O despertar de um monstro”. “Normalmente, você tem medo do monstro. E isso é importante”, disse um bem-humorado Ancelotti. “Não despertamos nada. Estamos trabalhando para chegar à melhor condição possível na Copa do Mundo. Acredito que estamos num bom caminho”, afirmou o treinador. O atacante Rodrygo, que trabalhou com Ancelotti no Real Madrid, garantiu que agora os jogadores têm um entendimento mais claro do que fazer em campo. “A gente sabe o que fazer para atacar e se defender. Vamos guardar as coisas positivas e, o que a gente fez de negativo, iremos trabalhar para melhorar. Eu fico feliz porque agora eu vejo que a gente tem uma ideia para colocar em prática em campo; temos um plano”, revelou. Esquema tático pode mudar conforme adversário O plano mudou o panorama da equipe. O esquema tático da seleção brasileira tem dado certo, mas pode ser flexível conforme o adversário. “O Ancelotti acertou esse esquema 4-2-4, que deu muito certo contra a Coreia do Sul e Senegal. Mas é um esquema que eu já percebi, nas entrelinhas, que ele não acredita que dê certo contra França ou Espanha, por exemplo. E aí o Ancelotti fala em encontrar um plano B para ser um pouco mais defensivo”, opinou o correspondente internacional da Band, Felipe Kieling. “O Ancelotti deu uma cara para a seleção brasileira. Até a chegada dele, a gente não sabia para onde o Brasil estava indo." "Está claro o caminho que o Ancelotti começou a seguir. Ele trouxe jogadores que muita gente criticava, como o Casemiro, que hoje ninguém contesta”, completou Kieling. A jornalista Julia Guimarães, da TV Globo, considera que agora o Brasil, que já garantiu vaga na próxima Copa do Mundo, tem uma nova cara em campo. Se por um lado o esquema 4-2-4 tem agradado, por outro é preciso que todos joguem pelo grupo. “Ele encontrou um sistema de jogo interessante com quatro atacantes, mas alguns deles terão de se sacrificar para recompor e ajudar o meio de campo, que só tem dois volantes. Aliás, são dois excelentes volantes, mas que vão precisar de ajuda. Então, o jogo precisa ser coletivamente defensivo”, explicou o jornalista Alexandre Oliveira, da TV Record, que já trabalhou como correspondente internacional. Sem posição fixa Voltar para fazer marcação e abrir mão da posição de origem não incomoda, por exemplo, o atacante Matheus Cunha. “Eu acho que tenho tido bastante oportunidades com o Mister Ancelotti. Eu me sinto muito bem nessa posição que ataca e ajuda na marcação. Acaba que o protagonismo fica um pouco de lado, mas é para ajudar o grupo a fazer coisas boas. A pouco mais de seis meses do início da Copa do Mundo, o técnico Carlo Ancelotti ainda não fechou a lista dos 26 jogadores que vão disputar o mundial. “O treinador ainda tem dúvidas nas laterais, tanto que no jogo contra Senegal ele colocou o Eder Militão, que foi muito bem. Outra posição vaga é o camisa 9. O Vitor Roque talvez tenha oportunidade e muita gente fala do Pedro. Também acho que o terceiro goleiro não foi escolhido. Eu diria que o Ancelotti já deve ter na cabeça dele uns 20 nomes. Acho que faltam dois nomes para as laterais, um para goleiro e outro para o ataque. O Neymar é sempre um ponto de interrogação”, disse Felipe Kieling. Com bagagem de três Copas do Mundo pela Globo, Julia Guimarães disse que os jogadores abraçaram a ideia do treinador. “Acho que ele já conseguiu colocar uma cara na seleção, faltando pouco tempo para a Copa do Mundo. O Ancelotti trouxe a mentalidade de um grande campeão para os jogadores da seleção. Dá para ver nas entrevistas coletivas que todos os jogadores falam sobre a importância de ter um cara como Ancelotti na seleção. Isso, claro, aumenta a confiança de todo mundo. É só ver como o Estêvão está jogando. O caçula da seleção está jogando muito”, afirmou Julia. Talento genuinamente brasileiro Aliás, Carlo Ancelotti rasgou elogios ao jovem atacante Estêvão, de apenas 18 anos. “Estêvão tem um talento incrível. Eu fico surpreso como um jogador tão jovem tem esse tipo de talento. Com ele, o Brasil tem um futuro assegurado”, declarou o treinador da seleção. A chegada de Carlo Ancelotti ao comando da seleção animou a torcida brasileira. Os torcedores que foram a Lille na terça-feira (18) para assistir ao amistoso do Brasil contra a Tunísia mostraram empolgação. “Está começando aquele calor no coração. Todo ano de Copa é a mesma coisa, mas eu acho que a esperança está maior para 2026. Enquanto formos o único penta, a gente sempre vai ser a seleção a ser batida” contou Sean Bryan Dias Medeiros, brasileiro que mora na Irlanda. O brasileiro Guilherme Rodrigues, que mora na Bélgica e atravessou a fronteira para acompanhar o jogo, disse que confia no sexto título do Brasil em Copas do Mundo. “A gente sonha há um tempo com isso e acho que vai se tornar realidade”, apostou Guilherme. "Pode ser que fique muito mais caro" E se o hexa realmente vier em 2026, será que Ancelotti continua como técnico da seleção depois da Copa? “Estou muito bem aqui na seleção. Não penso em sair. É claro que depois da Copa eu e a CBF vamos negociar uma renovação. Não tenho pressa em decidir e não há problema para mim em permanecer no cargo”, revelou Ancelotti. “A verdade é que o contrato antes do mundial foi barato, mas depois da Copa pode ser que fique muito mais caro”, brincou Ancelotti sobre a renovação.

Synthetic cannabinoid HHC or Hexa hydro cannabinol has been classified as an illegal drug by the Government. This means that the import, export, production, possession, sale and supply of products containing the man-made substance is banned. HHC, as well as 13 other substances, has now been categorised as a Schedule 1 controlled drug Misuse of Drugs Act 1977. A Clare mother has called for this ban after her daughter's experience with HHC. To discuss this further, Derrick Lynch was joined by Clare mother.

Without this enzyme, toxic substances accumulate in the brain and spinal cord, resulting in symptoms like muscle weakness, balance issues, speech difficulties, and psychiatric challenges. Claire McCall is a Kiwi journalist, author, and self-described "not-so-tough" adventurer who took on a life-changing challenge in her 50s. Born in South Africa and now based in New Zealand, Claire didn't grow up sporty, but in her 40s, she discovered a love for hiking and new physical challenges, including climbing Kilimanjaro with her son. In 2022, Claire and her partner James set out to hike selected stages of the Hexa Trek, a newly established long-distance trail through France.  Covering just a portion of the trail, the journey became the inspiration for her book, Hiking the Hexa—a candid, warts-and-all memoir that captures the highs, lows, and reality of long-distance hiking. In this episode, Claire shares her experience on the trail, from fears of failure and embracing the unknown to the joys of connecting with people along the way and the challenges of hiking as a couple. She reflects on her midlife decision to tackle big dreams, the logistics of planning such an adventure, and the lessons she learned along the way.
