Hey Ohana, On this episode we're diving into what we think is both one of the most important and underrated attractions in all of Walt Disney World...The Walt Disney World Railroad! And you can't possibly talk about the WDW Railroad without also getting into Walt and his own personal love of trains. So with the help of our friend Jim Smith (of Disney Facts and Figment fame), we get into Walt's early love of trains, how that transferred to the parks, a breakdown of the attraction itself, and a little chat about another special location outside of Magic Kingdom that shares Walt's passion for trains with visitors! After giving the episode a listen, head over to our FB group to continue the conversation and let us know if a ride on the WDW Railroad is a must-do when you visit our favorite place. Thanks again for tuning in and as always...See Ya Real Soon! DISCLAIMER: We are not an affiliate of the Walt Disney Company nor do we speak for the brand or the company. In the 91st episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn & Dave theme the episode around Valentine's Day, notably the Disney music that shares the love. First up, Dave & Jenn discuss how they met, then how Jenn met Brady and how Dave met Steph, plus a little WDW Railroad news, and some strange sand in Animal Kingdom. Then, they share their picks for their Top Ten Best Disney Love Songs... from classics like Sleeping Beauty and Lady & the Tramp to the Renaissance era Little Mermaid and Lion King to modern day classics like Rapunzel. Plus a few controversial pics, a little "tick tick Boom" talk, some Bryan Adams, Phil Collins, Dave's fair assessment on why that "Three Musketeers" song is awful and more HSM3 than you'll need in your day.

One thing Walt Disney ALWAYS wanted in his theme parks was a train. From his earliest days in Marceline, Missouri, to taking the train from NYC to Los Angeles after Oswald the Lucky Rabbit was taken from him, Walt always had a fascination with railroads. This week I'll take a closer look at that fascination with the Word of the Week – Railroad. From the train that brought the Disney family to Marceline, MO to the WDW Railroad, take a trip with me as I explore the history of railroads in the life and times of Walter Elias Disney.
