The boys are back, and it's time to relive an entertaining rivalry from Jay B's golden era. What I would love right now, is for all the Reflectionites to sit back and enjoy the nostalgia of the Rick Rude/Ultimate Warrior rivalry from 1989 to 1990. Two equally larger-than-life personas captivated WWE fans in the late 1980s, and their feud was a great mid-card match that was almost as good as Hulk Hogan's main event feud at that time. This rivalry was a litmus test for both the Warrior and the heat magnet Rude, and it made this feud truly special. Enjoy the discussion! Rick Rude was pure entertainment. The Snark Marks love nothing more than the idea of a wrestler coming out and calling the entire arena of fans fat, ugly sweat hogs before his match. He sold as good as anybody, he succeeded in every organization he joined, and his life was cut tragically short likely due to his involvement in the business. Join us as we celebrate the sexiest man on god's green Earth.

Duke and Rogue are back for episode five on our latest trek, and today we review WWF's Saturday Night's Main Event from October 1988, sandwiched between SummerSlam and Survivor Series The feud between Ravishing Rick Rude and Jake the Snake Roberts is nearing it's climax (ughh yeah), as Jake vows to take off Rude's pants before the night is done. Elsewhere we have a rematch for the tag titles with Demolition defending against the Hart Foundation. The Hulkster takes on King Haku and so much more!
Duke and Rogue are back to take you way back to the very first SummerSlam, live from Madison Square Garden. It's a happening, with the Mega Powers (Savage/Hogan) taking on the Mega Bucks (Dibiase/Andre) in the main event, with Jesse the Body Ventura as guest referee. Elsewhere we have a hell of an opener between The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers and The British Bulldogs. Demolition is defending their titles against the Hart Foundation, and The Honky Tonk Man is facing a mystery opponent, looking to end the greatest Intercontinental Title reign of all time. Another highlight of the undercard is Ravishing Rick Rude and the Junk Yard Dog competing in a battle of creatively airbrushed wrestling tights. All this and more as we look back at the first SummerSlam.
In the 1980's, the WWF produced Saturday Night's Main Event, special shows that aired on NBC in place of SNL when the comedy troupe had a week off. Today we're covering the 16th one of these, and the first to not feature Hulk Hogan, who was busy working on the classic film No Holds Barred. Fresh off victory at WrestleMania 4, World Champion The Macho Man Randy Savage defends his title against The One Man Gang. Elsewhere, we have a tag match with the Bulldogs taking on Demolition, and two of Rogue's all time favorites from this era, Koko B Ware and Ravishing Rick Rude facing off.
WWE WrestleMania V took place at Trump Plaza in 1989! As the fifth WrestleMania looked to make history, some matches and moments were better than expected and some did not rise to the occasion. Matches include: The Rockers vs. Twin Towers, Mr. Perfect vs. The Blue Blazer, The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase vs. Brutus The Barber Beefcake, Tag Champions Demolition defend against Powers of Pain and Mr. Fuji in a Handicap Match, WWE Intercontinental Champion The Ultimate Warrior challenges Ravishing Rick Rude, we get a special Piper's Pit with Morton Downey Jr., and in the main event, The Mega Powers Explode as WWE Champion Macho Man Randy Savage defends against Hulk Hogan, plus more!
WWE WrestleMania IV took place in 1988 live at the Trump Plaza in Atlantic City, New Jersey! Robin Leach introduces us to the WWE Championship tournament featuring The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase, Hulk Hogan, Macho Man Randy Savage, Andre the Giant, Dino Bravo, Don Muraco, Ricky Steamboat, Greg Valentine, Jake the Snake Roberts, Ravishing Rick Rude, One Man Gang, Bam Bam Bigelow, plus we get a 20 man Battle Royal, The Ultimate Warrior vs. Hercules, WWE Intercontinental Champion The Honky Tonk Man vs. Brutus the Barber Beefcake, WWE Tag Champions Strike Force vs. Demolition, and a 6 man tag as Koko B. Ware and The British Bulldogs team up against Bobby the Brain Heenan and The Islanders

The Attitude Of Aggression returns for Chapter 6 of The Big Four Project, a chronological analysis, review, and discussion about WWE's Big Four PPVs/ Premium Live Events. On this Episode, Dave is again joined by the one and only PC Tunney, along with the returning DJ of the Mindless Wrestling Podcast, to discuss two more huge events in pro wrestling history, the 1989 installments of Summer Slam and Survivor Series. Both events feature the rise, and equally quick exit, of “The Human Wrecking Machine”, Zeus. Zeus would step off the set of No Holds Barred to present a “real-life” challenge for the WWF Champion, Hulk Hogan. But as this is going on, The Ultimate Warrior was catching up to The Hulkster in both popularity and in the eyes of one Vince McMahon. By the time this chapter of The Big Four Project is done, Warrior has recaptured the IC title from “Ravishing” Rick Rude and was featured in the Main Event of Survivor Series '89….pushing Hogan to the mid-card of the event! The Road to The Ultimate Challenge begins here on Chapter 6 of The Big Four Project!About the Chairshot Radio NetworkCreated in 2017, the Chairshot Radio Network presents you with the best in wrestling and wrestling crossover podcasts, including POD is WAR, Women's Wrestling Talk, Chairshot Radio daily editions, The #Miranda Show, Badlands' Wrestling Mount Rushmores, The Outsider's Edge, DWI Podcast, Bandwagon Nerds, the Greg DeMarco Show, 3 Man Weave, Five Rounds, Turnbuckle Talk, The Reaction and more! In this edition of World Championship Wrestling from 1986, we will see how the "Ragin' Bull" Manny Fernandez turned his back on Jimmy Valiant and went for the money to join Paul Jones. Also, "Ravishing" Rick Rude is in action for the first time as well as Brad Armstrong. Interviews as well from Dusty Rhodes, Arn Anderson, Ivan Koloff and. of course Jim Cornette. Also, Ronnie Garvin tries to reason with Fernandez, and Dick Murdoch dons a blonde (or silver) wig to make fun of Ric Flair! And that's what wrestling was back in 1986: fun.
