Want to steal my Objection Handling Cheat Sheet? Click here. I have officially started my summer with door to door and from this point on will be giving you raw episodes breaking down my weeks and sharing important lessons learned. This week's lesson was taken from the NCAA March Madness Basketball Tournament. There is power in coming from a losing position. When you are down, you are focused on the right solution (catch up and win). We are going to break down some of the crazy final games of the tournament and how some of these teams lost sight of their ultimate focus and lead them to ultimately losing the game. This applies directly to door to door. If you are trying to have a killer summer and are currently under-performing on your week/time in D2D... It's ok! Being in a losing position keeps you hungry and focused on the right things. The worst thing you can do is simply give up and throw in the towel. Want to steal my Objection Handling Cheat Sheet? Click here. Today we juxtapose weak closing phrases with strong closing phrases. I got some help from my AI friends and managed to come up with 18 examples of common phrases reps say and it's alternative option for getting more deals. Some of the weak closing phrases we hear in sales include: - What do you think? - This deal won't last for long. - I don't want to pressure you. Compared to strong closing phrases like: - Let's get you started -- does morning or afternoon work better for you? - We aren't gimmicky here...- You're neighbor Ron is being serviced at 9, you cool if we stop by after him? Reps who use weak closes reek of lacking confidence and avoiding taking control of the situation. Strong closers use authenticity, confidence, and assertiveness to help customers make a decision today. Hope you enjoy. Connect with Tyler Evertsen: Instagram | tryd2dsales.com

8 Lessons Learned in 2024 Rookies can outsell Vets - I was blown away as I watched multiple rookies this summer absolutely dominate and put up numbers any vet would be proud of. Environment is Key - Who you are spending your time with off the doors makes a HUGE impact on the results you have during the summer. Close Close Close - Dominic Story. When reps stop assuming the sale and start lay down hunting, that's when a HUGE summer turns into a LONG one. Don't Act Like you Know it All - Don't tell yourself or your team that they know everything they need to. It's not true. Stick to the basics in your trainings, even if you're already been through many of them. Stay humble and hungry to learn. When you have a big day, don't use it has an excuse to not try as hard the next day. I Will Be the Best Mentality - This was my motto for 2024. Being my best meant I held myself to standards that could be measured. You won't always hit your goals, but you can ALWAYS hit your standards. My standards were: Leave for area on time Work until dark Do my very best to hit my daily goal Have a Vision for Yourself - Start with your Why, Identify your Where and end with your What. Why are you knocking doors? What motivated you to do this job? Where do you see yourself in 5 years? If there are people in the D2D space who have achieved what you are wanting, then it's possible. What are they doing? What are you willing to do to make this a reality? Set your Goals and Standards. Give Area/City a Chance - Story of Athens, struggled but then sold 50 in one week. People left and said it was a bad city. Don't listen to the negatives, adjust and figure out what works before abandoning an Area/City entirely. Create your Roadmap to Financial Success. Everyone wants to be rich, but most lack vision and discipline to get there. Wherever you're at, ask yourself if the company you're selling for is going to help you achieve your Vision? Do you believe they ACTUALLY will get you there? All hat, no cattle. What are their stepping stones to long-term financial freedom? If you're a leader, what unique offers do you have that help paint the dream for your ideal rep? Make sure you've shown your team that you're as invested into their success as you are into yours. Even by falling short, if you “Shoot for the Stars and you'll land on the Moon”

Learning how to love sales has been a journey for me and I'm sure many others in this field.
