In his second Guest Mix on the H3LIUM Crew Podcast, Mike Fry brings down the House on our H3family with his funky techy nu disco style. Being influenced by the music of Cassius, Louis La Roche, Mylo and of course Daft Punk, it's no wonder that Mike found himself with a huge love for that disco sound. His monthly podcast 'Digital Adventures' is a reflection of this passion, hour long mixes ranging from Nu Disco to House with some Funk and classics thrown in for good measure. Mike has graced the decks at some of London's most loved night spots including Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Brixton Academy and The Egg. Add to that a number of the capitals best bars, boat party's and even a hand full of gigs overseas in the clubbing mecca that is Ibiza. As one half of 'We The Speakers', Mike explores a more deep/tech sound, but it's as a solo performer that the 'disco loving', 'funk fanatic' comes out to play…… Links: https://www.facebook.com/DjMikeFry https://soundcloud.com/mike-fry Tracklist: Attack Yourself! - Laser Flip (Bit Funk Remix) Andhim - Boy Boy Boy Marlon Hoffstadt & Dansson - Shake That Louis La Roche - Let Go Moullinex - Sunflare Lxury - J.A.W.S Rosie Gaines - Closer Than Close Art Of Tones - Take Me Higher Mercury - Sweetness Luke Solomon - Say Something (Ashley Beedle Remix) Ninetoes - Finder (Lizzie Curious Remix) Mason - A Girl Like Me
October 2013, H3LIUM DJ's Lizzie Curious, Damian, Ronnie G, and ~Seismyc~ dropped their signature sounds on South Florida's finest House Music Soldiers. H3 took control of the decks at the famed South Beach nightspot, Tantra, for an evening of tasty beats with the Miami based Delicious Party. The following week, Seismyc and Damian went back-to-back at Key West's hot spot, Rumor. The good vibes and bangin' house beats were flowing strong, and the H3family took the events to the next level!! This latest H3LIUM Crew podcast episode is a live mixed compilation of tracks from the ~Seismyc~ playlist for those events. It captures the energy and essence of H3's week long tour of South Florida. Lizzie Curious CIWMF Festival Mix www.facebook.com/LizzieCuriousMusic It is with mahooosive pleasure that I present my latest resident mix for H3LIUM. This mix is inspired by the amazing CIWMF festival in the Cayman Islands, which I had the honour of performing at, alongside StoneBridge. Expect high octane EDM and hedonistic house all wrapped with a whole heap of Curious energy! This mix includes the fantastic bootleg of 'Longest Road' by our crew member Damian, the latest single from my siSTAR Krista Richards, plus a fantastic mashup of StoneBridge's Put Em High, along with plenty of hand in the air classics and dancefloor-destroying bootlegs. I have also included some of my recent music, including the first airing of my brand new single 'I'm Not Drowning'. Already supported by StoneBridge, in fact he debuted the slamming Luv Gunz remix of I'm Not Drowning at the festival, I am delighted to include it on this podcast. October 26th through 28th, 2012 was a weekend full of milestones and memories, past, present and future, for the H3LIUM crew and for what we've come to think of as the "H3LIUM Family". For the first time, the entire H3 crew returned to the city and venue where H3LIUM-3 was originally founded (Brooklyn, New York), to share the love of house music and celebrate with many of the friends who have supported us over the years. As a bonus, that weekend the world famous white party "Sensation" made it's debut in the USA at the Barclay Center in Brooklyn, just blocks away from the venue "Deity" (H3's "birthplace"). The crew and our extended "H3family" set the stage for two EPIC private events. The first, a Sensation opening night afterparty, and THE party that has set the bar for us going forward "H3LIUM HALLOW33N 2012"... Never before has a more amazing group of our H3family been assembled and thrown down like that night! If you couldn't make it (or if you want to reminisce ;), the upcoming mix series in the H3LIUM Crew podcast will cast a light on the vibe that the H3LIUM DJ's threw down that weekend. This particular mix is a live mixed compilation of tracks from Seismyc's set lists for that weekend, and kicks off with a GORGEOUS piece of vocal house by Ivan Perea, The Henchmen, & Krista Richards ~ "Bring Love to Life", soon to be released on Loud Bit Records (Nov. 26th). Much love, and I hope you enjoy the mix! ~Seismyc~ Tracklist: Ivan Perea, The Henchmen & Krista Richards - Bring Love to Life (Original Mix) Salome De Bahia - Outro Lugar (Prok & Fitch 2012 Festival Mix) Matthew Codek, Nader Razdar - Alegria (Original Mix) My Digital Enemy, Carl Hanagan - We Are One (Original Mix) Adam Port - Sally (Original Mix) Kevin Andrews & Jason Chance - Crack House (Belocca's Tribal of Deceptions Dub) Sonny Wharton, Futuristic Polar Bears - Welcome Home (Original Mix) Stafford Brothers, Olfulsen - Take Control (Baggi Begovic & Robbie Taylor Remix) Patrick Hagaenaar feat. The H3LIUM Crew would like to present, the first in our guest mix series, by our good friend and the house music legend... StoneBridge We'll let the music speak for itself. Much love, Stone Since tapping into the musical mainstream with his remix work for artists such as Taio Cruz, Britney Spears and Missy Elliott, Grammy Award nominated producer and DJ StoneBridge has not slowed down. Taking his unique brand of sexy groove ladled house to crowds throughout the world, his DJ travels have encompassed top bill performances at stages from Australia’s Future Music Festival to SPiN Festival in Dallas and Anchorage, whilst being a regular guest for clubs like London’s Ministry of Sound and Ruby Skye in San Francisco. Born in Stockholm, StoneBridge’s path in music stretches over 20 years having launched his career by remixing international acts like De La Soul, Titiyo and Rebel MC. However, it was with his remix of Robin S ‘Show Me Love’ in 1993 that solidified his reputation as a world class remixer with the record going on to become one of the biggest selling house records of all time. This early success stirred up much interested in the Swedish producer’s studio talents and before long he found himself remixing some music’s most iconic artists in Lenny Kravitz, Robbie Williams, Usher, Simple Minds, Will Smith, Texas, Sia, Patti Labelle and Debbie Harry. As well as his work with some of rock and pop’s biggest names, StoneBridge also boasts an impressive back catalogue of work that includes Shawn Christopher’s ‘Make My Love’, Big Bass’ ‘What You Do’ and his chart slaying hits ‘Put Em High’ and ‘Take Me Away’. On the remix front he has delivered his reputable StoneTouch quality to tracks for electronic stars such as Basement Jaxx, Robbie Rivera and Richard Vission, whilst having collaborated with artists in Crystal Waters, Chris Kaeser and Erire. His collaboration with Chris Kaeser and Anita Kelsey titled ‘Rescue Me’ secured the Beatport Top 10 for two weeks and was snapped up by Hed Kandi for the world. His prolific musical output has led to three studio albums. His debut long player came in 2004 with the arrival of ‘Can’t Get Enough’, which garnered international acclaim among clubbers and the world’s music press. The album went on to sell over 60.000 copies and spawned undoubtedly two of StoneBridge’s biggest singles to date; ‘Put ‘Em High’ and ‘Take Me Away’, which both scored UK Top 10 chart positions. Four years later StoneBridge returned to the studio to complete work on his follow up album, titled ‘Music Takes Me’. Filled with the massive hit singles ‘SOS’, ‘You Don’t Know’ and ‘Close To Heaven’ the album drew much praise from his legion of fans. In 2010 StoneBridge released what he regards as “my musical chef d'oeuvre” with his third artist album ‘The Morning After’. The title track and second single from the album ‘Trip’en’ saw StoneBridge maintain his form for success with a slew of DJ and radio support. Most recently StoneBridge scored a global #1 hit as co-writer of Jason Darulo’s ’Don’t Wanna Go Home’. Other highlights include his Grammy nominated remix of Ne-Yo’s ‘Closer’ as well as scoring UK Top 40 hits with remixes on singles like Lily Allen’s 'The Fear', Cruz 'Dynamite', Alexandra Burke 'Start Without You’ and achieving #1 in the Billboard Hot Dance chart with Yoko Ono’s ’Give Me Something’ and Cher 'You Haven't Seen The Last of Me' back in 2010. Maximizing his years of knowledge working behind the mixing desk and dealing daily with record label execs and A&R specialists, StoneBridge took it upon himself to launch his own record label, Stoney Boy Music. Using the imprint as a way to not only compliment his busy release schedule but also support the next wave of talented producers. From the get-go the label has achieved an upward rise of success with a slew of white hot releases that have included Matt Aubrey & Holevar ft Matt Kysia ‘Addicted’ and CaPa ft Betim B ‘Your Body’, AstroShift ft Krista Richards ‘Tonight’, Goodluck’s ‘Taking It Easy’ and more recently Che Jose ‘The Fear’, which all picked up strong positions on the Beatport charts. With his music regularly chalking up playlist support on radio networks such as Radio 1, Kiss FM and Capital, StoneBridge’s presence on the airwaves is a familiar one. This led to StoneBridge hosting his own weekly four-hour mix show on SiriusXM broadcasting to millions every Saturday throughout North America. Moving forward, StoneBridge has been strapped down in the studio of late putting the finishing touches to a string of new beats and remix cuts that he’s confident will excite dancefloors from Berlin to Buenos Aires. Away from his studio space, his DJ diary are consistently littered with numerous global exploits at clubs such as Space in Warsaw, Singapore’s Hard Rock Café, Metropolis in Paris and London’s iconic Pacha. Combine all of this with his radio show, which continues to gather more listeners week on week - the show is now being broadcast across a host of FM and online radio networks around the globe, and the year ahead for StoneBridge looks brighter and bolder than any of his illustrious years gone by. Welcome to the world of the Lizzie Curious: internationally renowned DJ, singer, songwriter and producer. 'She is the easiest singer/songwriter I have ever worked with. She has a beautiful voice and a great personality and this shows on the songs she does for me'. Robbie Rivera 'For any promoters out there reading this - book this girl NOW, she will rock your club'. K-KLASS "Your voice is beautiful. We fell immediately in love with your vocals of DEPARTURES and it was a pleasure to remix this track!" - Cosmic Gate 'You're an amazing singer Lizzie!!' - David Tort 'Always love Lizzie's work.' - George Acosta 'Heavenly vocals' - DMC BuzzChart. As a DJ, she combines talent, an insatiable appetite for the hottest house music, a never ending source of energy and enthusiasm, plus flawless technical skills; creating consistent floor-filling, crowd-enthusing performances that see her in demand around the world. Alongside the continued success of her very own 'Curiousity Club' events and monthly podcast, 2012 has now seen her secure two new residencies. First up is her residency with global house superbrand Hed Kandi, performing monthly at their stunning flagship bar in her home city of London. And as of June 2012, Lizzie Curious has confirmed a residency with the USA-based DJ powerhouse collective H3LIUM. This will see Lizzie performing stateside more often - kicking off with H3LIUM @ Deity, New York in October! As an in demand singer/songwriter she works with & is remixed by the likes of Robbie Rivera, Cosmic Gate, Stonebridge, David Tort, First State, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Alex Gaudino, Thomas Gold, George Acosta, Andy Duguid, Lazy Rich, Jason Chance & the So Called Scumbags. She has already notched up over 30 releases to her name and receives consistent worldwide support from industry luminaries (Tiesto rates her vocals 5/5 and plays her songs on his global radio show; Judge Jules plays her music on Radio 1) and devoted fans alike. Demand for Lizzie Curious shows both in the UK and internationally continues to rise, with show-stopping gigs in Russia, Bahrain, Miami USA (3 consecutive years at Robbie Rivera's jewel in the Miami WMC crown: Juicy Beach, and Hed Kandi Miami), a bi-annual residency in Grand Cayman (The Caribbean), Houston USA, Greece, Finland, Majorca, Spain, Poland and Lithuania. Not to mention a plethora of gigs in Ibiza (including superclub Amnesia and a residency in 2009 at superclub Privilige playing in the main room for Juicy Ibiza alongside the likes of Robbie Rivera, Stonebridge, Marco V) already under her belt. Equally impressive are Lizzie’s talents as a singer/songerwriter and producer, where in The Curious Studios she produces her own, original material to consistently high acclaim, her versatile voice flawlessly moving from from the spine-tingling angelic through to sexy and dirty as her songs dictate! Her first vocal for Robbie Rivera, Star Quality, became the title track for his 2008 artist album and to date, Lizzie has recorded 8 more vocals for Robbie Rivera, all released on Juicy Music: including My Heart (with Robbie, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike), Meant To Be, The Rain (featured on his 2009 artist album) and the seminal summer house smasher Sax Heaven, which was remixed by Alex Gaudino and Thomas Gold. Departures became the runaway success hit of 2011, with the Cosmic Gate remix being championed by all the heavyweights of the EDM world on their radio shows (Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Above & Beyond and Ferry Corsten) and the Stonebridge & Chris Kaeser remix being chosen for the Godskitchen Electric album. Robbie Rivera says of Lizzie's work ‘She is the easiest singer/songwriter I have ever worked with. She has a beautiful voice and a great personality and this shows on the songs she does for me.’ Lizzie's talent, passion and dedication to the craft of singing and songwriting has seen her become highly sought after for her vocals. Her discography to date, alongside her impressive catalogue with Robbie Rivera on Juicy Music, includes regular releases on Black Hole Recordings, plus Strictly Rhythm, Spinnin' Records, In Charge, BugEyed and Big Fish, regularly charting on beatport and the DMC Buzz Chart. 2012 has already seen releases for Lizzie with Nick Sentience on Spinnin' Records (Freefalling) and Robbie Rivera (It's A Feeling), George Acosta (Like Home) and Andy Duguid (Music Box). Born and residing in Miami, Florida, Damian began DJing shortly after being introduced to electronic music back in 2002 when he attended his first Ultra Music Festival held in Downtown Miami in Bicentennial Park. Now a member of the H3LIUM DJ crew, representing all areas of the US, Damian found his way to the house music community by way of the strong urging of friends and family to take up the trade, always having had a deep passion for the music. Since then, he’s rocked the decks across the nation and the globe, opening for legends such as Stonebridge, George Morel, Pedro Henriquez, Eric Prydz, Markus Schulz, The Shapeshifters, Ivano Bellini, Lizzie Curious, Chrissi D!, Scotty Boy, Riley Warren, and Austin Leeds, Damian is a regularly scheduled performer at many Winter Music Conference and Miami Music Week events, and has appeared in the Groove Cruise lineup for two consecutive years (2011-2012). His musical influences include Eric Prydz, Stonebridge, Funkagenda, UMEK, Stefano Noferini, Da Fresh, and Daft Punk among many others. While artists, genres and tastes in the global electronica scene have ebbed and flowed, for Damian one genre has always shined through... House. ~Seismyc~, a member of the H3LIUM DJ crew, representing all three coasts of the US, found his way to the house music community by way of the filthy warehouses, airplane hangars, fields, theatres, and any other location where producers and promoters of Denver Colorado’s early underground house music scene could throw a party. His early musical influences included the standard host of veterans like DJ Dan and Donald Glaude, Bad Boy Bill, Charles Feelgood, Frankie Knuckles, Deep Dish… and while artists, genres and tastes in the global electronica scene have ebbed and flowed, for ~Seismyc~ one genre has always shined through... House. After 15 years of dancing and fist pumping to the eargasmic beats of the world’s legendary house music producers and DJ's, with a push from a friend, he got behind the decks and dropped his first beat. Since then, he's rocked the decks across the nation and the globe, opening for legends such as Stonebridge, Eric Prydz, Markus Schulz, The Shapeshifters, ATFC, Ivano Bellini, Lizzie Curious, Scotty Boy, Riley Warren, Chrissi D!, and Austin Leeds to name a few. Over the last few years, he teamed up with Domas (Los Angeles), and Damian (Miami) to form the DJ crew H3LIUM-3. Together they have gained momentum, gigging together at some of the hottest events in the US, and have also made their way internationally, touring places like Berlin, Cancun, London and Ibiza. DJ's Adrenal (San Diego) and Ryan Patrick (Chicago), and dropcap (Dallas) have been added to the H3 roster, rounding out and broadening the breadth of the H3LIUM crew's sound and global outreach. Live and in the mix for his debut H3LIUM Resident Showcase, ~Seismyc~ is bringing you some smokin' new tracks from My Digital Enemy, Eddie Halliwell, Bingo Players, Tune Brothers, Jason Chance, Sharam, Prok & Fitch, and some of the freshest promos hot off the Stoney Boy presses. Ryan Patrick is a natural, passionate performer with the ability to deliver an unforgettable show. Whether it is chilling at a sexy lounge, soaking up the rays at a pool party, or rocking it out at the club or after-party, Ryan has a versatile sound that will have everyone grooving. Although Ryan found the electronic music scene a little later in life, right from the very beginning it became his passion, and it has had a lasting impact on his life. His early exposure and influences came from the dark and hard Techno/Minimal sounds which dominate Detroit’s underground music scene, and it quickly became his preferred sound early on. Those roots in the Techno/Minimal style tend to find a special place in his performances and recordings, and Ryan’s passion for that style has opened doors for him and his burgeoning DJ career, leading to opportunities to open for some of the legends in Detroit Techno, including Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson, and Stacey Pullen. Over time and with more exposure to other genres of EDM, Ryan has come to identify with a sexier groove in his preferred sound and track selection. At this point in his music career, it is with an open-minded mentality that we find him now including a broader variety of genres in his sets, from House to Tech House, and also delving into Deep House sounds. Through Ryan’s embrace of all styles of electronic music and the scene that accompanies it, he can be characterized as a true connoisseur of electronic dance music. His newfound versatility and creativity is the trademark of his current sets, and it has won him fans the world over. H3LIUM: https://www.facebook.com/groups/H3LIUMDeejays/
Originally from Houston, dropcap has called Dallas, Texas his home since 1994. As a professionally trained vocal performer in his youth, DJing was a natural evolution to express his love of music and performance with others. Years spent listening to nearly every musical genre helped shape dropcap's unique style behind the decks. He gets dance floors moving by mixing crowd-pleasing tech, progressive and electro house beats with underground gems you might won't hear other DJs play -- and that's just the way he likes it.
