MEET DR. AMELIA JUDSON Originally from Bogan Gate, she decided at the age of 12 that dentistry was for me. She graduated from Charles Stuart University in Orange, where she discovered her musical talents in DJ-ing. She was professionally signed with a Sydney management team. She played to a huge crowd at the Future Music Festival on her 20th birthday. However, the club scene wasn't for her and soon after graduating joined Smile Solution Collin Street in Melbourne, before eventually transitioning back to Sydney to work alongside Dr Fadi Yassmin at FY smile in Double Bay. Her special interest lies in cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics. After a brief hiatus, we're glad to be back with rock star festival director, Emily May Ockenden. Emily handles dual roles as the Director of Production for BWG Live and the Director of Operations for WYH Live. Raised in Australia, Emily got her start with Future Music Group in Sydney as a receptionist. She found her break when 3-months in, the festival coordinator left the company just weeks before the Future Music Festival (a mammoth tour consisting of 13 festivals and 40 sideshows packed into 3 weeks). She returned from her stint as festival coordinator and moved into handling tour logistics for the likes of The Stone Rose, The Prodigy, and Drake. After six years of touring Australasia as the National Touring Coordinator & Head of Artist Relations for FMG, Emily moved to the US, transitioning from logistics and tour management to site development and production design. She recently held the role of Festival Director for Something in the Water Festival, and since the shutdown has stayed active working on virtual events and has expanded her already impressive repertoire of skills to include COVID compliance.

Simon Shackleton, the man behind Elite Force, is dropping a stellar new, exlusive mix on all you Soupaholics, and we're super stoked to have it!  Make sure to give this a deep, thorough listen . . . you'll be glad you did!  Check it . . .  Simon Shackleton has been a Force to be reckoned with in Electronic Music over the past 25 years. He cut his teeth in the original acid house era when he performed in bands with Thom Yorke (Radiohead), went on to provide soundtracks from Hollywood blockbusters (The Matrix, Charlie's Angels) under his Lunatic Calm guise and then forged his own way with his Fused & Bruised label, home to his output as Elite Force for several years.  After stints on Moonshine and City of Angels in the US and Whole9Yards in the UK, he founded U&A Recordings back in 2006 as a vehicle for his own music, including his Zodiac Cartel productions. More recently, he has diversified with new imprint Stereophoenix, and recording under his real name has been responsible for a whole host of deeper, euphoric, techy productions. He also founded The One Series, a bespoke series of events featuring One DJ, One Room, All Night, at which he's played a number of 6, 7 and 8-hour sets. A Burning Man regular, Simon has also played many of the world's biggest festivals, including Coachella, Glastonbury, Future Music Festival, Shambhala, Rainbow Serpent, Kazantip and many more. Built to party and conquer the world, Kronic is Australia's most reckless entertainer. Fueled by an appetite for antics and an alarming disregard for personal safety, his electronically sequenced on-stage acrobatics take dj'ing to the next level, leaving crowds everywhere throbbing, engorged and yearning for more. With a cult following built from his series of bootleg mix tapes, it seems almost a lifetime ago that Kronic was one of Australia's hip hop DJ elite, constantly traversing the lands, bringing the party to the furthest corners of the nation. Five years on, with tour supports for LMFAO, Afrojack, David Guetta, Snoop Dogg & Lil Jon notched into his bed post, alongside lanyards from Creamfields and Future Music Festival slung over the door, it's obvious that Kronic has more than a foot in the EDM world. Transitioning from professional party-starter to production prodigy, it's Kronic's antics in the studio that have him commanding attention of late. After face planting into the ARIA Club Chart Top Ten with 2012′s Looking For Some Girls (feat. Bombs Away) (#7 Aria Club Chart), and the #11 follow up Watup Bitch, present day 2013 has Kronic spreading his wings, notching up remixes for fellow Aussie EDM heroes Dirt Cheap [Hussle], Bombs Away [Central], Chardy & Andy Murphy [Hussle]. Remix duties aside, it's Kronic original productions that have been turning heads of late. S.W.A.T. Team (with Chardy) saw Kronic reach Top 20 territory on Beatport, and earn support from Bingo Players, Hardwell, Tommie Sunshine, Sidney Samson, Deorro and more. Their follow up, Kavorka, became Kronic's biggest record to date – reaching #12 on Beatport's Electro House charts, and peaking at #5 on the Aria Club Charts. Not to mention Uberkron, a bass-heavy experimental collaboration with fellow Adelaide anarchist Uberjak'd, that snuck into the Beatport Top 40 Electro House releases. After touring the country (again!) with Tom Piper on Ministry of Sound's Addicted to Bass tour, Kronic has relocated to Sydney and is already hard at work, producing a monthly pod cast Handstands & Hangovers, and locking in studio time alongside Krunk!, Seany B, Static Revenger, Apocalypto and more. The H3LIUM Crew would like to present, the first in our guest mix series, by our good friend and the house music legend... StoneBridge We'll let the music speak for itself. Much love, Stone Since tapping into the musical mainstream with his remix work for artists such as Taio Cruz, Britney Spears and Missy Elliott, Grammy Award nominated producer and DJ StoneBridge has not slowed down. Taking his unique brand of sexy groove ladled house to crowds throughout the world, his DJ travels have encompassed top bill performances at stages from Australia’s Future Music Festival to SPiN Festival in Dallas and Anchorage, whilst being a regular guest for clubs like London’s Ministry of Sound and Ruby Skye in San Francisco. Born in Stockholm, StoneBridge’s path in music stretches over 20 years having launched his career by remixing international acts like De La Soul, Titiyo and Rebel MC. However, it was with his remix of Robin S ‘Show Me Love’ in 1993 that solidified his reputation as a world class remixer with the record going on to become one of the biggest selling house records of all time. This early success stirred up much interested in the Swedish producer’s studio talents and before long he found himself remixing some music’s most iconic artists in Lenny Kravitz, Robbie Williams, Usher, Simple Minds, Will Smith, Texas, Sia, Patti Labelle and Debbie Harry. As well as his work with some of rock and pop’s biggest names, StoneBridge also boasts an impressive back catalogue of work that includes Shawn Christopher’s ‘Make My Love’, Big Bass’ ‘What You Do’ and his chart slaying hits ‘Put Em High’ and ‘Take Me Away’. On the remix front he has delivered his reputable StoneTouch quality to tracks for electronic stars such as Basement Jaxx, Robbie Rivera and Richard Vission, whilst having collaborated with artists in Crystal Waters, Chris Kaeser and Erire. His collaboration with Chris Kaeser and Anita Kelsey titled ‘Rescue Me’ secured the Beatport Top 10 for two weeks and was snapped up by Hed Kandi for the world. His prolific musical output has led to three studio albums. His debut long player came in 2004 with the arrival of ‘Can’t Get Enough’, which garnered international acclaim among clubbers and the world’s music press. The album went on to sell over 60.000 copies and spawned undoubtedly two of StoneBridge’s biggest singles to date; ‘Put ‘Em High’ and ‘Take Me Away’, which both scored UK Top 10 chart positions. Four years later StoneBridge returned to the studio to complete work on his follow up album, titled ‘Music Takes Me’. Filled with the massive hit singles ‘SOS’, ‘You Don’t Know’ and ‘Close To Heaven’ the album drew much praise from his legion of fans. In 2010 StoneBridge released what he regards as “my musical chef d'oeuvre” with his third artist album ‘The Morning After’. The title track and second single from the album ‘Trip’en’ saw StoneBridge maintain his form for success with a slew of DJ and radio support. Most recently StoneBridge scored a global #1 hit as co-writer of Jason Darulo’s ’Don’t Wanna Go Home’. Other highlights include his Grammy nominated remix of Ne-Yo’s ‘Closer’ as well as scoring UK Top 40 hits with remixes on singles like Lily Allen’s 'The Fear', Cruz 'Dynamite', Alexandra Burke 'Start Without You’ and achieving #1 in the Billboard Hot Dance chart with Yoko Ono’s ’Give Me Something’ and Cher 'You Haven't Seen The Last of Me' back in 2010. Maximizing his years of knowledge working behind the mixing desk and dealing daily with record label execs and A&R specialists, StoneBridge took it upon himself to launch his own record label, Stoney Boy Music. Using the imprint as a way to not only compliment his busy release schedule but also support the next wave of talented producers. From the get-go the label has achieved an upward rise of success with a slew of white hot releases that have included Matt Aubrey & Holevar ft Matt Kysia ‘Addicted’ and CaPa ft Betim B ‘Your Body’, AstroShift ft Krista Richards ‘Tonight’, Goodluck’s ‘Taking It Easy’ and more recently Che Jose ‘The Fear’, which all picked up strong positions on the Beatport charts. With his music regularly chalking up playlist support on radio networks such as Radio 1, Kiss FM and Capital, StoneBridge’s presence on the airwaves is a familiar one. This led to StoneBridge hosting his own weekly four-hour mix show on SiriusXM broadcasting to millions every Saturday throughout North America. Moving forward, StoneBridge has been strapped down in the studio of late putting the finishing touches to a string of new beats and remix cuts that he’s confident will excite dancefloors from Berlin to Buenos Aires. Away from his studio space, his DJ diary are consistently littered with numerous global exploits at clubs such as Space in Warsaw, Singapore’s Hard Rock Café, Metropolis in Paris and London’s iconic Pacha. Combine all of this with his radio show, which continues to gather more listeners week on week - the show is now being broadcast across a host of FM and online radio networks around the globe, and the year ahead for StoneBridge looks brighter and bolder than any of his illustrious years gone by. You can catch Ali B hosting Saturday nights at West London’s ‘Paradise’ where his legendary 5 hour sets seamlessly take in everything from blues and funk to rock, soul, dub, disco and beyond, captured on his ever popular series of ‘Oh Shit!’ mix tapes and ‘Airpod’ podcasts. His latest productions include remixes for the likes of Fort Knox Five and collaborations with Nick Thayer on the mighty Bombstrikes label.   With an eclectic and varied music industry background spanning nearly two decades, Ali B has a broad sense of musical appreciation, coupled with an intuitive feel for the dance-floor which has seen him hold down DJ residencies at London’s two most influential venues. After making his mark at the legendary Blue Note club, he then went on to become the resident DJ for Fabric where he’s been since the day it opened, releasing one of the first albums in their legendary mix CD series. He has also extensively toured Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Asia, Africa and the US.   Ali B spent his teens working for the Acid Jazz record label followed by several years in Public Relations, representing the likes of Gilles Peterson, Norman Jay and Pete Tong. He went on to host a weekly radio show on Capital FM for five years, followed by 5 years on Kiss FM alongside regular appearances on stations including BBC 6 and Ministry Of Sound Radio. He has also made several appearances on British television for the likes of MTV, ITV and Channel 4.   Ali B’s infamous Air parties have been running since the mid nineties at venues across London, including The Blue Note, 333, Mass, Electrowerkz, Rhythm Factory, Cargo and Matter as well as hosting arenas at festivals such as Glastonbury, Global Gathering, Hi-Fi and Australia’s Future Music Festival.   Ali B’s Air Recordings record label covers a wide range of leftfield sounds. Releases have included Finish electro breaks duo Mr Velcro Fastener, US stalwarts Tony Faline and DJ Love, the UK’s Will Saul (with Ursula Rucker), Jellybass, Janette Slack, Diverted, Lazersonic, Franci$co and Mr No Hands, alongside Ali B himself who’s track with The Jungle Brothers propelled Air Recordings into the major league. ‘Beats On A String’ was play-listed on BBC 6 in the UK and Australia’s national Triple J radio station. Alongside remixes for the likes of Positiva, Multiply, Sony and Cheeky, Ali B has also released mix albums for Fabric, Y4K, Godskitchen and his own Air Recordings label.   Ali B is widely regarded as the DJs DJ, as comfortable at the controls of clubs such as Fabric playing a heady mix of cutting edge bass and beats as he is digging for rare 7’s to play one of his exclusive party sets. He is regularly in demand at high profile events such as Vancouver’s Winter Olympics, Abbey Road Studios with Mark Ronson, numerous film wrap parties, various private members clubs such as Bungalow 8 & Dover Street Arts Club and celebrity events which in the last 12 months have included Mick Hucknall’s 50’th birthday party and Gary Barlow’s wedding anniversary.
