So here we are at the end of 2020. A year I'm sure that everyone around the world wants to put behind them, I certainly do. The December 2020 edition of UP! takes us out of this year with a bang and a collection of awesome house and club mixes. The set kicks off with the Charlie Lane mix of "Everybody's Lost" by Ananya then slides into Ariana Grande's new track "34 + 35" which adds up to 69 - just sayin'. The Cube Guys have hit back with a stellar cover of Whitney Houston's "Love Will Save The Day". I put a throwback track from Danny Howells ft. Erire in the set because the Hoxton Whores remix of "Dusk 'Til Dawn" is so good. The set shifts to a happy main room sound with Jason Derulo's huge hit "Savage Love", Miley Cyrus' hit "Midnight Sky" and an amazing Toy Armada remix of Kylie's "Magic". Nick Stracener takes Tina Turner's "What's Love Got To Do With It" to another level and Kelly Clarkson delivers a standout vocal on her track "I Dare You". Steps are back with their pop hit "What The Future Holds" and Cyndi Lauper's new song "Hope" is beautifully mixed by Tracy young to close out the set. I'd like to take a moment to thank some people, both friends and in the music world for helping to keep me on track this year, personally and in the music production scene. Rob Ladic (aka Division 4) has been so supportive and I love our lunch get togethers in Sydney. Both Rob and Wayne G (whom I've known for years) have been extremely generous providing me with their private remixes for which I am very grateful. To Matt Consola at Swishcraft Music and the boys from Dirty Disco I say a big, heartfelt thank you & the same to Nick Stracener in Dallas. Personally, my friends Aaron, Mark, Deb, Jason, Daryl, Matt & Anthony, David & Derek, Ben, Mark & Michael, Mat, Tim & Anna and my brothers Cameron & Nick, you have all helped me through a difficult year and I thank you for it. This is the first of many from Boston's Dusk Till Done crew and friends. We were lucky to have our very special friend, Mr. Danny Howells, grace our decks for close to 1.5 hours at a recent event. We hope you enjoy as much as we did, and more to follow soon... Bio: Danny is one of the few DJs on the scene today that truly has a style of his own. With his passion for all styles of music and infectious personality, Danny has created a unique, eclectic sound that has established him as one of the most in demand DJs in the world. Danny is one of the hardest working and most dedicated individuals in the business with over 20 years experience and a hectic touring schedule that constantly takes him around the world. He's played in the world's coolest clubs and held residencies at places such as Arc, Ministry of Sound, Twilo, Renaissance, The End, and Bedrock, as well as his own Dig Deeper nights worldwide. With a back catalogue of well received mix albums under his belt, he has previously compiled acclaimed mixes for Global Underground, being the only DJ to contribute to not only the main series with his Miami album, but also the 24:7 and Nu-Breed Series. In addition to this, he also compiled a cd for Azuli's Choice series, as well as albums for Renaissance along with three volumes of his own Nocturnal Frequencies series. As a producer he has been responsible for many stand out tracks, including the timeless Persuasion/Repercussion on Bedrock Records, Breathe on Renaissance Records and Kinkyfunk on Yoshitoshi Records. He also hit the charts in 2004 with the Miami hit Dusk till Dawn, which featured the talents of Dick Trevor and Erire. Danny has also had massive dance-floor success with Deep Dish as "Size DDD" and the Eminem sampling "Nobody Listens To Techno". In more recent years he has been focusing on original productions for his own Dig Deeper label, the likes of which have been licensed to mix albums by artists such as Juan Maclean on his DJ Kicks album, and Cassy for her recent compilation on Cocoon. On the remix front Danny has previously mixed records such as Roachford's "Ride The Storm", Madonna's "Get Together", Marco Bailey's "Smooth Drive", and Bent's "Waiting For You". Other artists that have received the remix treatment include We Deliver, Stryke, International Observer, Robbie Williams, David Morales, BT, Chakra, Coco and Stonebridge, Destiny's Child and many more, including most recently Felix Da Housecat's purple tribute, "We All Wanna Be Prince". Building on his discography of original productions is a major priority for Danny, as his Dig Deeper label enters it's third year. Danny has come a long way since his early beginnings in his hometown of Hastings, though his complete love of all music remains the same. Danny is a DJ with a broad musical taste who likes anything from jazz to rock, to pop and anything a bit bizarre. He likes to champion his own special tracks and records that nobody else has latched on to and has a way of combining cutting edge grooves with crowd pleasing dynamics that enable him to connect with his audience making him one of the hottest DJs in the world.

Much love, Stone Since tapping into the musical mainstream with his remix work for artists such as Taio Cruz, Britney Spears and Missy Elliott, Grammy Award nominated producer and DJ StoneBridge has not slowed down. Taking his unique brand of sexy groove ladled house to crowds throughout the world, his DJ travels have encompassed top bill performances at stages from Australia’s Future Music Festival to SPiN Festival in Dallas and Anchorage, whilst being a regular guest for clubs like London’s Ministry of Sound and Ruby Skye in San Francisco. Born in Stockholm, StoneBridge’s path in music stretches over 20 years having launched his career by remixing international acts like De La Soul, Titiyo and Rebel MC. However, it was with his remix of Robin S ‘Show Me Love’ in 1993 that solidified his reputation as a world class remixer with the record going on to become one of the biggest selling house records of all time. This early success stirred up much interested in the Swedish producer’s studio talents and before long he found himself remixing some music’s most iconic artists in Lenny Kravitz, Robbie Williams, Usher, Simple Minds, Will Smith, Texas, Sia, Patti Labelle and Debbie Harry. As well as his work with some of rock and pop’s biggest names, StoneBridge also boasts an impressive back catalogue of work that includes Shawn Christopher’s ‘Make My Love’, Big Bass’ ‘What You Do’ and his chart slaying hits ‘Put Em High’ and ‘Take Me Away’. I'm serving up the final installment of this edition and need to take a much-needed break.  However, since Rick is out of town for the next week or so, why bother?  So, I've designated this next week as DIVA week.  I've already done some preliminary mixing and as difficult as some of this old stuff is, I think it'll pretty much rock.  I just need to go back and do a bunch of prep work on the mixes to get them into high-quality shape for your listening pleasure.  That part is very time consuming but the added value to the sound is 200% worth the effort.  I'm not giving out any names or dates; let's just say they'll show up when they show up.
