Get Started with Athletic Greens today! Alex and Chace are back with an NHL Round Two Recap. The guys start off by looking at the Hurricanes defeating the Devils 4-1 with an overtime winner in Game 5. They discuss how the Devils lack of goaltending came through at the worst time, but there is no doubt this season should be viewed as anything but a success. Highlighting where they go from here and why this team may be even better next year, the future is bright in New Jersey. Next, they do a deep dive into the Toronto Maple Leafs dropping Game 5 and losing the series 4-1. With takes flying around Twitter, what really is the best move? Chace makes an argument for variance and the guys debate what a trade would even look like. However, everyone admits there is no obvious answer. Finally, they switch to the Western Conference. Unfortunately, the Oilers have gone another year where McDavid and Draisaitl will not see a Stanley Cup, despite their crazy seasons. They also preview the Stars and Kraken, with the Stars ending up taking it. The guys will be back Thursday with a full preview of both Conference Finals.

But also, what does it mean for the immediate teams after? The guys examine if Chicago was ready to win, not that anyone in their organization will be complaining about it. However, how do they build this team up so they have all the pieces hitting at once? You don't want to waste any of Bedard's career, but the team also needs some more high-end prospects. Finally, they talk about Gabriel Landeskog and why his career unfortunately may be over.
