Episode 19 was recorded on the road! For episode 19 we traveled to Salt Lake City, Utah to meet with Jordan Nelson. Jordan is a senior admin with salesforce as is truly a content creator on LinkedIn! Jordan is a go-getter who focuses' on problem-solving. At the age of 22, he owned his own car wrapping business and even grew it to multiple employees and a physical location. However, he decided the tech space is where he wanted to be and joined salesforce! During this episode, Jordan and I discuss the need for critical thinking if you wish to set yourself apart from those around you in business!
For episode 18, I had the pleasure of interviewing Andres Bustamante. Andres is a recent graduate of the University of Texas and has been a licensed realtor since he was 19. During episode 14, I interview Derek Adkins. Derek is a relationship manager for Capital Farm Credit in Bryan-College Station. At 26, currently Derek is the only relationship manager in his 20's for Capital Farm Credit in College Station. Derek's love and passion for agriculture are clear in this episode and he discussed with us how that love for something traditionally blue-collar lead to a successful career in an adjacent white-collar industry. This allows him to be a professional, while also allowing him to be close to his agricultural roots.
During episode 13, I interview Ian Cash. Ian is the Founder and CEO of CTRL golf. After graduating with a mechanical engineering degree from Texas A&M, Ian loved full-scale VR and problem-solving. He went through the McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship at Texas A&M and combined these two passions creating CTRL. An arm sleeve designed to take the complex data points of golf and will turn them into a turn-key and easy-to-use solution allowing everyone to better their game. We discuss how Ian runs his business and what drives him to continue to get better.
