On today's we ask what team or teams make their respective leagues better or more worthy of viewership when said team(s) are relevant? In just about every other major sport, or at least those I can think of, at some point folks claimed there would never be another then all of a sudden bam, here comes the next guy. Well, there actually may be a case for one dude being able to boast such a claim as being truly one of a kind...

From the moment Texans QB DeShaun Watson was accused of certain wrong doings explicit in nature, we questioned the validity and timing of the accusations hurled his way. In a recent statement put out by Watson's attorney, seems as though the skepticism was not unwarranted. Pick any sport's Hall Of Fame, I guarantee there will be some snubs worthy of conversation/debate til the end of time, but the list I've come across for the NFL may very well be the most glaring of them all...

The NFL decides a 17-game schedule is what's best for bidness, but nobody seems to give a darn whether or not it's what's best for the players. The Padres have 'loaded up' on talent, but will it be enough to pull off the ultimate prize that is the World Series? Manny Pacquiao and Terrence Crawford are allegedly s'posed to duke it out this upcoming June, but the question remains on whether or not folks are as interested in seeing this clash as they had in the past? The Baylor Bears opened up a can on the Gonzaga Bulldogs that I personally didn't see coming. Was the lopsided victory sparked by 'bulletin board' material? Inquiring minds do indeed wanna know... In the land of college football, is Mel Tucker and Michigan State primed to be top dawg in the Michigan rilvary?

With so much action that went down during the NBA Trade deadline, has the league lost its intrigue? Going by what the Lakers and Nets did, intrigue lost is the least of their worries... What feels like many moons ago when reportedly there were less than 50 cases of the COVID-19 virus, we brought Dr. Jamil Smith on to discuss what steps people could take to best prevent contracting the virus, and the importance of the body's role in said prevention. I've heard people say some straight-up bassackward stuff when it comes to sports debate, but nothing like what I've read in the thread of a Facebook group I'm in (Elite Sports Debate), who went so far as to put these absurd takes in a category called "Hall Of Shame"...

At the time this episode was recorded Tom Brady had not won Super Bowl 55 with his new squad, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Even while still a member of the Patriots, the question has been constant as to whether or not Brady is the GOAT. An unrealistic concept in my opinion, but a conversation that's here to stay. Now that TB12 has indeed won a ship outside the confines of Bill Belichick, is it time to not only revisit the GOAT narrative, but label him as TBE QB if not player?

From the casual NFL fan to the most seasoned, who by now, hasn't heard of the goings on down in Texas; Houston to be exact, in regards to DeShaun Watson and his asking to be traded. Let Brett Favre and Dick Vermeil tell it, Watson needs to be quiet and just do what's asked because the Texans are paying him a ton of cash, or just stop whining, as Richard so eloquently put it, even though in the case of Carson Wentz, who demanded a trade like Watson, he claims is the victim of not having enough talent around him. Did SB 55 live up to the hype? Are the refs' to blame for the Chiefs being ineffecient? Is Tom Brady the best QB ever, or all around football player? Did you know the NFL has a HOF section for fans in Canton?

MLB has been mired in its fair share of muck as of late, but naming Ken Griffey Jr as senior advisor to the commisioner could very well not only bring baseball back to the forefront as 'America's Past Time', but also bring the credibility it lost along the way. Although we somewhat discussed LaMelo Ball on last week's show, this time it's more about him rather than whether or not Jordan got it right by selecting him 3rd overall in the 2020 NBA Draft... should be a good one!!!

With the as usual 'questionable call' that IS the NFL, we take a look back at both the NFC/AFC championship games as well as SB 55 and the possible storylines soon to follow. The Hornets Ted Stepien like draft selections over the years have been well documented, but did Jordan finally get it right with the selection of LaMelo Ball? The Big Red Machine will no doubt go down as one of MLB's finest squads to ever grace the field; were the 1998-1999 Bronx Bombers arguably better?

The debate about which NFL Receiver has the 'best hands' is forever ongoing, but today we wanna know who hands were better, Larry Fitzgerald or Chris Carter? Did the Browns lose to the Chiefs in their Divisional Round matchup because the refs missed the helmet to helmet call, or was it a case of not being the Browns time yet? Would the outcome in the Rams and Packers been different if not for the injury to Goff's thumb? Steelers did their usual 1, 2 when it comes to the Browns, but the week 7 contest against the Titans should be one for the ages, and quite possibly a precursor to a ship appearance vs. them Chiefs! Seahawks boast one of the league's worst defenses, a far cry from the 'Legion of Boom' days, and yet are sittin pretty in the NFC West at 5-0; crazy or what!? Going up against the Cardinals it's a good bet they'll be 6-0 when all is said and done, even though them 'Red birds' are currently ranked 4th in total offense. Bears take on the Rams in the Monday nite showdown, but did you know they've scored 128 pts only allowing 116??? Not bad for a team who's record many thought the Rams should have. Speaking of which, Goff is overrated and a classic case of 'system QB'... In the "Rilvary Recap", Steelers did to the Browns what they always seem to do when these two get together. Chiefs RG Laurent Duvernay was the first player to do so, and there's been a ton more, and counting, ever since... Former Washington Football Team signal caller Alex Smith has been cleared by his medical team to participate in full team activities; is this good or bad? Think the NBA is all smiles and candy corn??? Not according to former Champ David West; wait til you hear what he had to say about recent Knicks hire Tom Thibodeau...

Trouble in Tunisia??? why one Tunisian tennis player got banned... last but not least, we give y'all some 'shop talk' on the proposed July 3oth startup for the 2020 NBA season...

what in tarnation is goin on wit MLB that it has gone from being America's pastime to past tense? We go over some of the latest news and notes surrounding Major League Baseball, and whether or not the season should resume or be cancelled altogether. Lavar Ball all but made the worst outta his first trip down "15 minutes of fame" lane, but this time I understood full well the words that were comin outta his mouth. In our ongoing coverage of the events surrounding the untimely and unfortunate death of George Floyd at the hands of some Minneapolis police officers, we decided to get the perspectives of the next generation of the future we should all envision, in addition to a mental health professional to help break down the psychological aspect of why such hatred from one race could be had for another, and just how deep rooted the disdain lies.

While in the midst of an ongoing pandemic (COVID-19), America finds herself, yet again, on the doorstep of another ongoing pandemic of sorts, that has plagued this country since as far back as I can remember, which is none other than the never ending subject of RACISM, and in particular, as it relates to police brutality. What took place in the case of George Floyd who died senselessly at the hands of a Minneapolis Minnesota police officer has become an alarming norm that is often discussed, but has never REALLY been addressed. Well, today's show is not only abbout addressing this vile and despicable crime, for CRIMINAL it is, it's also about finally finding solutions to what feels like for a Black Man living in this country, everyday "being on TRIAL"...

I was all set to discuss with Bro. For what seems like all my life, the NCAA has been steadfast in NOT compensating players for their likenesses while at the same time raking in profits to the tune of billions of dollars off of said likenesses, but in a recent about-face, have changed their tune on "Pay to Play" compensation. What changed? Is it pressure from the G-League in offering players upwards of $300,000 coming straight outta high school? The Coronavirus pandemic? Or was it simply time for a change? the UFC's Dana White seemed all set to forge ahead being the first sports entity to hold events as planned, despite the 'gag order' so to speak, for all major sporting events being canceled or put on hold, due to Coronavirus and its paralyzing effect felt by the entire sports world as we know it, but like all the other majors Dana was told his show was a no go from higher up; what's next for Dana and the UFC? The NFL Draft is but a mere few days away, but in an odd twist unlike drafts in the past, for the first time ever players will be selected by way of 'virtual reality'... is this the future for the draft going forward? Which team benefits the most? Could this draft go down as potentially one of the worst ever? Is playing 'without the fans' the best option? We answer as best we can just what exactly sports may look like down the road...

eSports seems to be all the rage nowadays, is it the new norm, and will it still have a place when "true sports" makes its return? 'Measurables or Modus Operandi'... which one determines what a player is?

Today we ask, other than the obvious or most talked about, who is your most memorable 'Sports Figure?' If you were an NBA head coach with the PG/SG spots left to fill, would you want Iverson as the PG and Klay Thompson at SG, or Steph Curry at PG and Iverson at SG?? When we last met, our discussion surrounding the NFL's New CBA (collective bargaining agreement) had yet to be signed, and there were a number of factors which held considerable weight in regards to how soon, and if, a deal would be reached before the strt of the new league year. Who had more to lose or gain with a new deal being done with a year left on the current deal, how much of a factor was the TV contracts, and what, if any, would be the ramifications for marijuana usage to name a few. Well, not that a new deal has been voted on, we decided to revisit the whole issue to determine if the new deal is Fair or Foul, and for whom??
