Aaron Glenn is officially the new head coach of the NY Jets. They still don't have a GM and are bringing in a few guys for a second interview. Glenn is part of the Bill Parcells coaching tree and worked with Sean Payton and was also a scout for the Jets. We also need an offensive coordinator and a quarterback. Mark Brunell could be an option for OC. Glenn is going to have to lay the hammer down the same way Parcells did. What will happen with Aaron Rodgers now? Boomer said that should be up to the head coach and nobody else. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with Ben Johnson talking about quarterbacks making the difference in games and Jerry and Boomer battling about that. The Jags fired Trent Balke. Nick Sirianni talked about playing the Commanders for the third time this season. Dan Quinn was asked about being the underdog again. The Bills and Chiefs are so similar to each other according to Boomer. Patrick Mahomes was asked if he gets favorable calls from the refs. We heard John Minko on the call as St. John's beat Xavier. Mariano Rivera is involved in a strange lawsuit that we will need more information on before commenting. In the final segment of the hour, a caller wonders how Aaron Glenn was in the locker room after the Marino spike game. Boomer said the defenders, including Glenn, did not quit on the play.

Shane Stafford could not make it this week; my Co-Host is former UConn Offensive Lineman Courtney Williams, AKA the Jedi, for playing center and having the ability to outsmart defenses, along with making incredibly tough blocks. We talked about the NY Jets, which was difficult for Courtney, being a lifelong fan. He believes they need a complete reboot and should move on from Aaron Rogers. However, from where they pick in the draft, there may not be a top-level quarterback on the board. Hopefully, they will hire a great GM who will bring in an offensive-minded coach to get things on track. The Giants decided to keep Joe Shoen, and Brian Daboll was befuddling. An Argument can be made because Shoen drafted well last year, hitting on Malik Naibers and Tyrone Tracey. We debate if Sanders and Edwards are available at QB and if they are as good as advertised. Going over the NFL playoffs, who will come out victorious this weekend, and what the Vikings should do with the Sam Darnold situation. We predict who will be advancing into the NFC/AFC championship games. Then we look back on the college football playoffs, and I can't believe the National Championship will be decided by #8 ranked Ohio State vs #7 ranked Notre Dame. Maybe the teams who received byes ended up having too much time off. We made our prediction for Monday. We talked a little about college basketball and more. Thank you, Courtney, for stepping in, and Shane, we miss you! Â
