Tobin, Leroy and Beast let loose everyday between 1-4 pm, discussing the latest topics in Miami sports, crazy local news, fighting, animal attacks, head kicks and all around debauchery. *Cast -* Tobin: Fighter of all rat finkery on a case to case basis. Eater of Crow. #TeamPettyForever Leroy: Dest…
The Tobin, Beast & Leroy podcast is without a doubt the best sports podcast in Miami. It sets itself apart from others with its perfect balance of hilarity and showmanship, while also maintaining a level of seriousness and even-keeled analysis. The chemistry between the hosts is exceptional, creating an enjoyable listening experience that keeps you coming back for more. In fact, I would go as far as to say that it is the best podcast I have ever heard.
One of the major strengths of this podcast lies in the chemistry between Tobin, Beast, and Leroy. Their banter and camaraderie shines through in every episode, making it feel like you are part of their close-knit group. Their ability to seamlessly transition from humorous moments to serious sports discussions is impressive and keeps the content fresh and engaging. Whether they are cracking jokes or diving into deep analysis, they manage to strike a perfect balance that keeps listeners entertained throughout.
However, one area where the podcast could use some improvement is in its episode descriptions. While most of the time they are posted in order, there are instances where they are not. This can be frustrating for listeners who want to follow along chronologically. Lately, they have even omitted mentioning which show hour each episode corresponds to, further complicating matters. It would greatly enhance the listening experience if they made sure to either post episodes in order or at least include clear indications of which hour they belong to.
In conclusion, The Tobin, Beast & Leroy podcast is an outstanding sports show that stands head and shoulders above the rest. With its perfect blend of humor and serious analysis, it has carved out a niche for itself in Miami's podcast scene. Despite some minor issues with episode descriptions, the overall quality of this podcast is unmatched. I highly recommend giving it a listen if you want a top-notch sports podcast that will keep you entertained and informed.
On todays' show its football Friday, as last night the NFL 2025 season kicked off with the Hall Of Fame game where the Chargers led by Trey Lance defeated the Detroit Lions 34 -7. We check in the Miami Dolphin s who were back on the practice field in pads. the offensive line looked great in practice and is that a good sign of what is to come from this team this season as they try to change the soft narrative that is labeled on them. Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa has been named to the President Trump Council of fitness, we heat the President attempt to say Tua's last name. We touch on MLB as the Marlins host the Yankees for a 3 game series this weekend. Were you shocked that Sandy Alcantara wasn't traded on the deadline yesterday? All of this plus show silliness like what tickles Leroy's fancy this weekend, what important events happened on this date August 1st, also Why you keep On Lying Vlad Edition and much more.
In thid final hour of the show, we recap the Miami Dolphins padded practice, talk Marlins as they face the Yankees for what should be an exciting 3 game weekend series in Miami. Finally ,we play two games in this last hour. First, is why you always lying where producer Vlad will give the show 3 stories and 1 is true the other 2 is false and Marcos and Leroy has to pick which one Vlad said was true. Secondly, we close the show with " You're Dead To Me"
This weekend the NFL will celebrated the 2025 class of Pro Football Hall OF Famers. The Tobin & Leroy show takes a look at next year's class and who is on the ballot for the first time like Drew Brees, Larry Fitzgerald, Frank Gore and Jason Witten while others like Eli Manning Reggie and Steve smith Sr. are up for the second time.
On this edition :Why You Keep On Lying Producer Vlad comes in and gives us 2 lies and one truth and Marcos or Leroy have to pick the one that is true.
In this third hour we hear President Trump who is creating a council for fitness have a hard time pronouncing the name of Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa who is part of the board and takes an underhanded shot at the QB. We take a look at next year's hall of fame class that can be nominated and it's a who's who's in football?
Marcos lists all the great or bad things that has happened on August 1st.
While discussing football we realize that not only was Leroy Hoard a great football player but we used him in video game.s
In hour Tua, more on the Fins changing their attitude and tone on offense. They won't be successful if they can't control the line of scrimmage on offense and defense. We check in on new game that should be played in the casinos now that Mattel has said Uno being allowed to play in Vegas isn't happening. We give Leroy a list of events happening this weekend and see if it "Tickles his Fancy".
In hour 1, we talk about football being back as last night they played the Hall of Fame game in Canton Ohio where the Chargers beat the Lions 34-7 behind QB Trey Lance 2 TDs. The Dolphins are back in pads for practice and we heard the Offensive line having a dominant practice. Will there be a change in philosophy with Mike McDaniel?
With Tobin out, it's a Marcos-led ride from start to finish, and things go off the rails immediately in the best way possible. We kick things off with Hall of Fame Game hype, Eric Allen's distractingly beautiful eyes, and a deep philosophical debate: should the Marlins hovering around .500 actually be celebrated? Marcos brings the chaos with a Day to Day segment, revealing today's National Days and celebrity birthdays — which somehow unlocks a wild club story from Leroy's past involving Wesley Snipes. Then, Hour Tua begins, and so does the madness. Leroy recounts his break saga involving eggs, bacon, and a shirt that overstayed its welcome. The crew attempts (and fails) to prepare him for British culture ahead of his trip. Things go completely sideways as we trade embarrassing bathroom stories, analyze the Dolphins' defense, and — yes — even talk nose hairs. Sports? Don't worry, we eventually circle back with the Miami Heat's shocking connection to the biggest memorabilia heist in sports history. Hour 3 keeps the criminal theme going as we unpack Gilbert Arenas allegedly running a casino out of his house (with his name literally on the tables), and Marcus Morris getting called out for owing over $200K to a casino. Somehow, we pivot into a debate on moms, dads, and which zodiac signs are truly insufferable. We round it out with a skeptical round of Goosies or No Goosies, as a Miami Hurricanes recruit's superhuman strength fails to impress. Finally, in Hour 4, we hit headlines and wrap up with the return of “Why You Always Lyin? – Brittney Edition.” She tries to fool the crew with three wild statements: an obsession with 50 Cent, bad driving habits, or a celebrity run-in. Only one is true — and you won't believe which it is.
We kick things off with headlines and fresh reactions to the Hall of Fame Game, plus more takes on the wild Miami Heat memorabilia heist and other top stories making waves. Then it's time for Round 2 of "Why You Always Lyin? – Brittney Edition" — where Brittney tries to fool the crew with three personal “facts,” but only one is actually true. Did she really have a strange obsession with 50 Cent? Is she actually that bad behind the wheel? Or did she bump into her idol in the streets of New York? Only one is real — tune in to find out who gets duped!
From heists to hustles, we jump right into the wild news of Gilbert Arenas allegedly running a full-blown casino out of his home. Pro tip, Gilbert — if you're trying to stay low-key, maybe don't put your name on the tables. Next up: former NBA player Marcus Morris gets hit with legal trouble of his own, reportedly owing over $200,000 to a casino. The crew breaks it all down before taking a hard left turn into a totally different arena — family dynamics, moms vs. dads, and the zodiac signs that drive us all insane. Then it's time for a rapid-fire round of Goosies or No Goosies, where the squad just isn't buying the hype over a Miami Hurricanes recruit benching way more than most NFL players. Impressive? Sure. Goosebumps? Not quite.
Hour Tua kicks off on a hilarious note as Leroy recounts his break adventures — a riveting tale of bacon, eggs, and his complete failure to change shirts. From there, chaos only grows as the crew attempts (and spectacularly fails) to teach Leroy some British culture ahead of his upcoming trip overseas. Things spiral into full ridiculousness as we swap some truly embarrassing pee stories and roast the Dolphins' defense — or lack thereof. Tua has not throwing a single interception during training camp, which has us questioning the defense. Just when you think it couldn't get any more unhinged... we're talking about Leroy's nose hairs. Eventually, we manage to steer things back to actual sports news. The Miami Heat find themselves at the center of the largest sports memorabilia heist in history. Naturally, that sparks a roundtable flex as the gang shows off their most prized sports collectibles.
With Tobin out, it's another Marcos-led takeover, and we dive right in as we gear up for tonight's Hall of Fame Game. Marcos runs through this year's Hall of Fame inductees — though let's be honest, all anyone can talk about are Eric Allen's mesmerizing eyes. We shift gears to the Marlins: hovering near the .500 mark — is that something to celebrate, or just a step in the right direction? Then it's time for a classic Marcos segment: Day to Day, where we break down today's National Days and famous birthdays. Things take a wild turn when Leroy shares a traumatic (and hilarious) flashback involving none other than Wesley Snipes at the club back in the day!
Today's show is packed with sports talk, laughs, and plenty of spirited debate. With Tobin out for a few days, Marcos takes the reins as host and kicks things off by diving into the latest headlines. We discuss Minkah Fitzpatrick's return to Miami and react to Dolphins training camp news, including the concerning knee injury to Kader Kohou. Are the Dolphins cursed this season? We also break down Travis Hunter's bold claim to unicorn status — is he truly the real deal, or is that a bit premature? The conversation then shifts to Hour Tua, where we cover everything Dolphins — from Jaylen Waddle's evolving role on Aux to standout performers and injury updates. Brittney and Leroy tackle a hot topic: why contact injuries are becoming so common in sports today. Marcos adds some humor by exploring today's National Days, sparking a lively debate about a very serious question: does cake really belong in cheesecake? Spoiler: snitches still get stitches. Later, Marcos and Leroy analyze the impact of Kohou's injury on the Dolphins' defense, debating whether the team should prioritize adding depth to the secondary or bolster their pass rush. Leroy delivers a bold take about wide receivers: just because you play the position doesn't mean you can catch — and the crew wonders if this might finally be Julian Hill's breakout year. College football also gets attention as we highlight standout players from the Miami Hurricanes and speculate on Carson Beck's chances of success in South Florida. To cap it all off, we get to know our substitute producer Brittney in a special edition of Why You Always Lyin? She shares three unbelievable stories — but only one is true. The crew tries to guess: Did Brittney really go to high school with Zion Williamson, lose a tooth to a shuffleboard puck, or has she never played a competitive sport? Finally, the show wraps with an exciting round of Sports Family Feud, hosted by our game show king Frogboy. The competition heats up over quirky topics like professional birds and celebrity signatures, leading to some surprisingly intense fun.
We get to know our substitute producer in a special Brittney Edition of Why You Always Lyin? She shares three wild stories — but only one is true. Then, we wrap up the show with another hilarious game hosted by our resident game show king, Frogboy. It's time for Sports Family Feud, where topics like professional birds and celebrity signatures spark some serious (and surprisingly competitive) fun.
Marcos asks Leroy what Kader Kohou's injury means for the Dolphins defense — should Miami look to add depth in the secondary, or focus on beefing up the pass rush? Leroy doesn't hold back with a bold take: Just because someone plays wide receiver doesn't mean they can catch! Could this finally be the breakout year for Julian Hill? We shift gears to college football, highlighting standout players from the Miami Hurricanes. Plus, can Carson Beck find success in South Florida? To wrap up the hour, it's time for our favorite Wednesday segment: Rats Off a Ship! We react to midgame trades, the return of Fantastic Four, and the Clippers dubbing themselves the "uncs" of the league.

Is he the real deal, or is the self-proclamation a bit premature?
