    The Passover crowds were looking for a deliverer, a son of David who would rise up and throw off the shackles of Roman oppression. So imagine their disappointment when Jesus entered Jerusalem peacefully on the back of a gentle donkey. They didn't recognize Him as the king they'd been waiting for. We can have the same problem they did: We look to Jesus for help or comfort without also recognizing Him as our king or accepting that His way can be hard to follow.     Connor Kraus wraps up our Deuteronomy series with a look at the end of Moses' life. We get a glimpse into the unique and spiritually intimate relationship between God and Moses. Despite Moses' status, we learn that even he had to endure the consequences of his sin and only peer over, rather than enter into, the Promised Land.     Songs communicate with us at a deep level, so it's no surprise that God inspired Moses to include one at the very end of Deuteronomy. This week, Pastor Jim walks us through the famous Song of Moses, which some have called the Israelites' national anthem. He discusses the song's structure, its poetry, and what it teaches us about God's plan to redeem the world.Jason, Teresa, and special guest Pastor Jim discuss a variety of topics, from the song they remember earliest in life, to other songs contained in the Pentateuch, an update from Pastor Jim on what's happen in Israel today, and a reminder to focus on the right things as we pray for Israel.
