Featuring:Shane Arman, SVP, head of US Sports, Allison WorldwideIn 2010, many comms pros studied “The Decision” — LeBron James' highly anticipated announcement of which team “he'd be taking his talents to.” Fifteen years later, he had everyone on pins and needles awaiting “The Second Decision,” which ended up being the launch of an ad campaign with cognac brand Hennessy. Many had opinions on this, more critical than complimentary. During conversation with PRWeek's Gideon Fidelzeid, Arman opines on what the fallout would likely be for James and the brand. In doing so, he highlights what comms pros can take away from this episode. And that is just the start of this game. The WNBA. Emerging sports leagues. NILs. Pickleball — we know you're playing it. Everyone seems to be. All are discussed at length with Arman — all with a focus on the valuable comms lessons to be gleaned from each. In this episode of The Game of Life series, Pastor Mark unpacks what it really means to “keep score where it counts.” Drawing from Romans 12:10, he invites us to rethink success—not in terms of wealth, status, or achievements, but in the depth of our love and relationships. What if the real competition in life wasn't about getting ahead, but about outdoing one another in showing honor? What if the greatest victories came through small acts of kindness, generosity, and grace?Through practical examples and heartfelt teaching, Pastor Mark helps us see that when we love God fully and love others deeply, we're winning in the only game that truly matters.Listen in and discover how to live with purpose, measure your life by love, and keep score God's way.

I'm actually not keeping score officially, but I am in my head. I can't help but do it. What Trump is doing reminds me of the time when I was banking. Making mad money. I had so much money I never balanced my checkbook. And while I'm no Elon Musk, I didn't worry much about what I spent, because I knew what I could afford. How do you keep score? Maybe a better question is what is a win for you?Certainly we can all agree that Trump's second term is a win. It's actually his 3rd term. Think about it: we got a win while LOSING!!That's when you know it's time to hit the tables in Vegas.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

"No one from Dance Moms has ever talked about this, so this is like real behind the scenes tea." remarks Christi, so you know it's going to be a must-listen. But even more enticing is the fact that Kelly's back! And just in time to cover the first half of "The Understudies" as Abby's continued insults results in the moms keeping a running tally. After Maddie's surprise solo appearance at last week's competition, Abby sticks her right back at the top of the pyramid. Abby could have given Nia (who led the group to 1st) the top spot but some habits die hard I guess. Abby is more preoccupied with the fact the ALDC is facing off against Cathy's Candy Apples this week and her star player is preoccupied with other media appearances. Just in case Maddie's schedule might wisk her away to Miami, Chloe and Kendall are assigned as her understudies. Chloe also gets the rough end of Abby's barbs during group rehearsal after coming to practice injured, but there's also more to that story the cameras couldn't capture.Of course Abby doesn't miss a chance to brag about Maddie's good fortune, but her bragging quickly leads to more insults towards the other girls. Fed up with the negative comparisons to Maddie, the moms begin a running tally of how often each girl get unfavorably compared to her. But after production supplies a physical scoreboard for the mom to mark-up, Abby quickly catches on and things unsurprisingly begin to spiral.Quotes“You're allowed to take some days off, you have some built up PTO. you went through an entire year and a half of cancer and never missed a podcast!" What truly sets Christian community apart from other social groups? In this episode of our Philippians series, we dive deep into chapter 2:1-4, uncovering Paul's four distinctive markers of authentic church life: encouragement in Christ, comfort of God's love, fellowship of the Spirit, and affection and mercy. The original Greek structure reveals something profound—these virtues aren't self-manufactured but flow naturally from divine sources. When we're rooted in Christ, walking in love, filled with the Spirit, and practicing mercy, the expressions of encouragement, comfort, fellowship, and compassion naturally overflow. This challenges our Western tendency to focus on manufacturing these qualities rather than nurturing them. My hope is that this podcast helps grow your faith and equips you to accomplish your dreams and goals!Follow me on InstagramFollow me on FacebookFollow me on TikTok
