You were free.   Then as you got older, life got complicated by experiences, patterns & stories then took form in your mind and body.   They influenced how you made decisions, how you judged your life a success or not, how you interacted in relationships with others and with yourself.   These patterns and stories changed who you were.   But not really. They were only a mask that you wore. Maybe several masks covering up who you really are.   Maybe you realized you could take off the masks and choose to be who you truly are.   Maybe you’re still shedding some of those masks.   Maybe you don’t even recognize some of these masks you’re wearing because it’s too hard to see.   What would it feel like to be free from these masks and live the magic again and flow with life like that time you remember when you were younger?  Maybe even more free and wise.  What would that feel like?   In this week’s episode: What causes us to put on masks and cover up who we really are How to take off the masks covering the real you and live from love not fear How to face anything, even what you’re most afraid of, and set yourself free to live in flow Getting curious about a new rhythm in your life and how to make changes step by step with more compassion for yourself and others   Resources: Come join me over on Instagram Schedule a call today Awareness collective waiting list Join the Sacred Lifestyle Collection here

What do you fear?   Let’s get right to it - shall we. Is it not having enough food, water, toilet paper, dying?    What is your biggest fear right now?   Does fear drive you?   Did you ever see an old movie where one of the perfectly  normal characters was freaking out having an “out of body” experience where they were running around jibber jabbering and not making sense. The someone slapped them across the face and said “get ahold of yourself, you’ll do yourself and nobody else any good in this state.”   What is the ‘slap in the face’ that it will take to get the herd to wake up.   Yes, there are sick people. There have been sick people with plague, flu and more in the past. We made it through. Some people pass and some didn’t. We are all going to pass, to transition, to die at some point.   Here is a quote from the CDC re the flu in 2017-2018.   “In recent years, flu-related deaths have ranged from about 12,000 to — in the worst year — 56,000, according to the CDC. Last fall and winter, the U.S. went through one of the most severe flu seasons in recent memory. It was driven by a kind of flu that tends to put more people in the hospital and cause more deaths, particularly among young children and the elderly…..CDC officials called the 80,000 figure preliminary, and it may be slightly revised. But they said it is not expected to go down.”  (https://www.statnews.com/2018/09/26/cdc-us-flu-deaths-winter/)   Why the huge freak out now? Are we not better equipped mentally and technology wise to work in a wiser way for a proper test, vaccine, and treatment of COVID-19? Does it help or hinder finding a solution?   I am not a conspiracy theorist but there is something odd here and that we are in an election year and maybe there could be something going on. Whether there is or isn’t, let us all recognize what we can control and what we can’t.   How can we come together in a crisis more efficiently caring for all beings? Not by pricing Purell at $50 for 8 oz. or more.   How can we be more kind, compassionate, and understanding in this time?   I believe there is good within everything because there is God in everyone and everything. So where is the good here?   Let’s dive into this week’s episode of Truth & Dare together to:   Awaken a new conversation around our personal health and wellbeing Discern whether the sky really is falling and see what happened to Henny Penny Connect more deeply to your inner wisdom and knowing of how to best care for yourself in a world of sensationalistic news How you can reach out and be a part of a community to journey with other women in expanding who they are, what they want, and finally living aligned with your purpose How to embrace a new awareness of caring for yourself, your family, and in turn how that affects your community and beyond       Resources: If this episode spoke to you about your own journey and inner work process and you’re curious about my women’s group coaching sanctuary membership, Awareness Collective, click here to get on the waiting list as doors are opening at the end of March.   We only open twice a year and this is a beautiful process of coming together to experience your life expansion in your next phase of you who you are.   You can also come meet me now in my free women’s fb sanctuary, Peace Seekers & Space Expanders where you can re-inspire your daily life and passion and connect with other heart centered soulful women on this journey. “How do I stop negative energy from invading my space?”   “What do I do when certain people in my life are so negative and I just can’t take it anymore?”   As a master life coach & empowerment specialist, these are common questions I get when I start working with clients who are ready to expand and create the life they want taking a heart centered approach.   We all know that you cannot change anyone or make them do anything - meaning that you can’t “go driver on someone else’s life path.” You can’t magically wave your wand and turn a negative person into an optimistic person.   Here’s what you can do - take a look at how you’re managing your energy.   I know, you might be thinking “But Camden I’m doing all the right things and they are still blah blah blah….”  Again, you can’t change another person.    You can only manage your energy and take a look at how your energy is being affected by the choices you are making in your life.   Life truly is about connection, growth, expansion, compassion, kindness, truth, love, and empathy.  How do you discern your life choices from a heart a centered approach? That’s what this week’s Truth & Dare episode is all about. For The Love Of Pets

Have you ever noticed that your pets find you just when you need them?  You’re going through something, or you weren’t even looking for a new pet, or you were and the perfect new furry family member shows up - coincidence? - no way - they sensed you needed them.   Did you know that 68% of US households have a pet?   I was brought up around pets starting from the womb. When I was born and fresh home from the hospital, my mom put me on the floor with her poodle, Beau, so he could sniff me, get to know me, and welcome me - although I’m sure if he’s like my dogs now, it took a while for him to welcome this odd looking little stranger to the family.   Our pets or as we call them, our furry children, are part of the family. Their individuality, their compassion, understanding, and unconditional love fill the spaces in our hearts and home with such joy, silliness, and protection.   Recently, we said farewell to our mini gray/tan/black dapple dachshund Pete, who was 13 years old. Boy was he an alpha male. He had the best doorbell bark, he said “I love you” in slow drawl barks to me and he loved us.   We miss him so much and it’s left an empty space in our family. Our other pets were with us when we said goodbye. We are all adjusting.   This week’s show is a tribute to Pete and a conversation about how dogs are so present to showing up for their humans.   In today’s episode, you’ll learn:   More about Pete and why he was so special to us and an incredible dog that was so wise The benefits of having a pet join your family and what you could be missing by not having a pet Research on pets and why they can bring more mindfulness to how you live your life A healing mindful technique to acknowledge fear, loss, and grief instead of avoiding or compartmentalizing it How living with your pet can hone your listening skills and help you enjoy more fulfilling relationships   Resources: To learn more about the benefits of loving a pet, click here: https://newsinhealth.nih.gov/2018/02/power-pets   For the farewell poems I read, click here: https://www.sympathymessageideas.com/pet-loss-poems/

What you believed might be an overshare whether in a 1-1 conversation, a video, or from stage?   This week I’m exploring the art of conversation. I was inspired by James Baldwin’s quote I read in July’s Oprah Magazine:   “In order to have a conversation with someone you have to reveal yourself.”   Isn’t it true that what we give, we get back and then some. So wouldn’t it make sense that it also applies to how present and engaged you are in a conversation.   This is a favorite topic and teaching of mine because conversations weren’t easy for me when I was a kid and even as I got older. I was shy, not confident, and was afraid of saying the wrong thing and being judged.   Then something changed which you’ll hear more about when you join me for this week’s episode.   Let’s keep it going after you listen, please share your best conversation starter and also what you liked best about this week’s episode.   In this week’s episode, you’ll learn:   5 Must Have’s of the Art of Conversation and how they apply both online and in person. 4 Benefits of Conversation Is social media changing traditional conversations for adults and how How to engage in more meaningful conversations that help your personal growth, business skills, and level of daily happiness How to know if you’ve had a vulnerability hangover What exactly is a conversation   Resources: Check out this article on social interaction, skills, and conversation: https://thriveglobal.com/stories/how-social-media-affects-our-ability-to-communicate/
