A new podcast from 3 born-sexy-yesterday know-nothings who won’t let their lack of facts get in the way of a good joke! Join Allie, Anne, and Lea every Sunday as they discuss the hunks, dweebs, and local bad boys of the All Elite Wrestling world.
There was lots to get into this week in AEW! We talk about Toni and Mariah's brilliant promo work, Ricochet's incredible and perfectly annoying heel character, Renee's trials (bad interviewee behavior), Megan Bayne's trials (precarious wardrobe), the Death Rider's trials (telling a coherent story), and Will Ospreay's trials (immediately being abandoned by his only friend). Plus, it's WEEK TWO OF THE BEST BODS TOURNAMENT BRACKET!!!!!! The Eastern conference was tough and it's only going to get tougher. Join us for all the fun and YES, when we describe you as having a "cow body" it IS a compliment!(00:00) Chitchat time(12:10) Hangman and MJF(21:54) Death Riders and Cope(36:46) Megan Bayne & co(39:48) Toni and Mariah(47:24) Undisputed Kingdom and FTR(49:02) Swerve, Ricochet, Brody & Okada(57:04) Don Callis Family, Ospreay, Kenny(1:10:14) Mercedes Mone plus Alex Marvez Wellness Check(1:12:58) BEST BODS TOURNAMENT!!!!!!!!!!
Guess what, guys, we made it through February and you know what our reward is? THE BEST BODS IN AEW TOURNAMENT!!! MARCH MADNESS STYLE!!!! Anne got perhaps too excited about the data and the powerpoint, but sixteen beautiful bodies were selected — a sweet sixteen, if you will — and we talk through the first four match-ups in the Western conference. Plus I guess we talked about the week in AEW or whatever… luckily there were some extraordinarily beautiful bodies on display there as well. A special thank you to “Hangman” Adam Page for his chairwork. It's the our last February episode and thank god for that. Your girls were a leeeeeettle distracted this week, and conversations ranged a lot of new and interesting places, like our relationships with our mothers, the identity of the NHL commissioner and our new concept of a private figging stable for boys. But we did manage to buckle down and get to a really fun week in wrestling. Hangman and MJF put on a MASTERCLASS, and we attack their promo like the english lit nerds that we are. Plus, Toni's champ again to some of the pod's surprise, Harley's inspired Allie to make herself a puppet, and Will Ospreay and Adam Cole are NOT thrilled Orange Cassidy's back. Some storylines at AEW aren't succeeding as well as others, but between Toni-Mariah and Hangman-MJF, we got LOTS of meat on the bone this week. Just a lot of juicy juicy psychosexual characterization meat on these ole bones! Plus, guess who came back? Guess who everyone in the iwc was most excited for? That's right, we saw our son Dustin Chuck Taylor again! Looks like February might be worth it after all. What a fun week in wrestling! Your girls had a GREAT time with this week in AEW! How could we not? Toni made Mariah SPIN out before our very eyes! Hangman's gone weak for Swerve! Ricochet put on a CLINIC on how great character work enhances your in-ring! Will is SO proud to show off his very best friend! Even the slightly less good stuff was still super fun to discuss--we cover Mark Davis's return, Dustin Rhodes's improbable existence, Cope's deeply unfortunate hair, and Jericho's bleary hangover look. It was a sleepy little filler week in AEW, but there was still some fun stuff to talk about. Toni Storm revealed her amnesia was the performance of a lifetime, to our delight! Hangman barged into Swerve's dressing room, obviously looking for some sloppy makeouts! Ricochet wore a capelet! Mox and the Death Riders were not thriving inside a midwestern cellar! Will Ospreay threw his body over Kenny Omega's! Look for the helpers, everyone... And we're back! It's a strange, fractious time to be a wrestling fan, but if you know ONE thing about us, it's that we've GOTTA have our fun. We start off celebrating Will Ospreay finally finding the friend he was desperate for in Kenny. Proud of you, bruv. Then, the Hurt People need to figure out who the hell they are, Mariah's indicting all of us for being complicit in Toni's derangement, and the former House of Black is sooo proud of their barking. Plus we discuss Goofus (MJF and Jeff Jarrett) and Gallant (Hangman and VPCD), and take a firm stand on cults (bad). God it's good to be home. 0:00 Chit Chat Time 3:58 Kenny/Ospreay 24:13 Private Party/Hurt People 33:46 Women's Division 44:53 Doghouse of Black 48:06 Death Riders/Jericho 1:08:44 Ricochet/Swerve 1:15:48 MJF and Jeff Jarrett 1:31:45 Hangman and VP Christopher Daniels
Finally, your girls get to react to the greatest triumph of our time as podcasters—the Young Bucks took their shirts off, and it was GLORIOUS. Plus, Kenny's BACK baybee, Will Ospreay is a friendship slut, the Hurt People are a tag team after all, and the old men of AEW are absolutely wildin' out. Take off your shirt, and get on in here! We might not be back to feeling normal yet after our big Young Bucks interview, but the episode format? It's back to normal, baybee. Did we process that much of what happened at World's End? Maybe not, but we're here to discuss it anyway, along with what trends we want wrestlers to consider "In" for 2025, and what we'd like them to usher "Out." We talk Continental Classic, we talk Kenny's big return, we talk Cope, and oh yeah, what everyone's been waiting for, we talk Jeff Jarrett! All this and more on this week's Tunnel Talk! It's the Winter Christmas Collision Crash Smash Bash for the Fallen time at AEW, and your girls are just trying to keep up! As Anne eerily predicted, Toni's gone full amnesia mode and we could not be happier about it. Ricochet has revealed his secret dork ass self and he's NEVER been more over with us. Plus Darby and Ospreay took us out of this WORLD, The Bucks turned up to delight us, and Adam Cole and MJF did passably fine for once! A very Merry Christmas to us all! Everyone's sober, prepared, and back in rhythm this week, and it's never felt so good! Your Connie girls talk about why this year's tournament simply isn't reaching the heights of last year — it's called emotional stability and it's disgusting. Luckily we've got Orange Cassidy and his proclivities to get us through these trying times, not to mention the time capsule that Will Ospreay's straightened floppy '90s boy hair put us into. Plus, we're attracted to Chris Jericho, we're NOT attracted to Matt Cardona, and we're SO worried about our son Kyle O'Reilly and the horrifying normalization process that's taken him over. Let's put all our cards on the table: Allie was compromised by substances in this episode but we valiantly recorded anyway. Is it our most "coherent" podcast? It's not. Are any of our episodes that coherent, though? That's not for us to say. We talk CONNIE, we talk MJF's horrible hair, we talk OC's triumphant cameraman ruse, we talk Swerve and Max Caster! Plus Allie reveals that she's horny for Chris Jericho's sexy Shania Twain look. I'll be honest, we're gonna tweet this one with a notes app apology. Then it's over to the most WONDERFUL time of the year—Connie Szn!!! Your hosts discuss the contestants, the matches, and most important, the promos. Tunnel Talk's Super Special November Vacation continues but we have another pre-recorded bonus episode to tide you over before we return next week — this time it's a classic Tunnel Talk dating game! We take two randomly selected wrestlers and have to send them on a date. Who asked who? Where do they go? HOW does it go? You'll have to listen to find out! MISS YOU, LOVE YOU, BYE!
The girls are still on their big November Break but we pre-recorded just a little something to throw on up here. This week, the girls sit down and talk romcoms--the rules of the genre, our top fives, and the wrestlers that should star in them. MISS YOU ALL, SEE YOU ON THE OTHER SIDE!
It's our last episode before our November break and boy do we have senioritis. After a long chitchat time about Unitarians for some reason, we get down TO it. AEW presented FRIGHT NIGHT this week, and it was truly a theatre of the absurd. We cover Mark Davis's big return in his "running to 7-Eleven" fit, OC's promo on how children don't understand true grief, baby lion cubs Private Party finally proving they're big predators who can DEFINITELY take down the Bucks. Plus Darby descends from the rafters, and Malakai is now doing close-up magic. A++, AEW, thanks for the glorious send-off! Chuck Taylor got dead-wife murdered this week, and thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers in these exhilarating times. So yeah, this week's episode goes long! We talk through exactly how it happened in loving detail, and really get into the best-friend-destroyed-hero's-journey of it all. Were they roommates? Yeah! Are we horny about it? You bet your sweet bippy! Some people didn't enjoy this week in AEW, but for us, it gave us everything we could ever need: Kyle Fletcher shaving his head over his feelings for Will Ospreay, Shelton Benjamin impressing us solely through good wrestling, and on top of that? Christian and the Patriarchy did things so confusingly sexual that we were honestly floored. It's another week of Tunnel Talk! It's our post-Wrestledream episode and AEW is UNDER attack from hooligans in a pickup truck! We discuss the MULTIPLE patricides that took place this week, and the moms who just watched it happen. Plus Adam Cole came back and tried to sell us a story about evil being good sometimes, Ricochet became our biological son with one simple mispronounciation, and we give out the inaugural Best Behaved Boy award to our beloved new homeowner Dustin “Nice Suit” Chuck Taylor. Surprise! The pod's out early because otherwise we'd have another lame duck podcast situation on our hands. Listen to our takes quick, before WrestleDream makes them all obsolete! We discuss the Moxley vs. Danielson feud and what parts of himself Bryan Danielson may not be comfortable with, plus Darby's manic-guy-on-bus energy and the difference between a good promo and an entertaining promo. Also Danny Garcia isn't leaving! The women's division might be backsliding! And you won't predict who we talk about doing the wettest of kissing. Seriously — take a guess right now and see how that turns out. Welcome to Tunnel Talk! Big announcement: Tunnel Talk has merch now at chopped-tees.com! Go pick some up quick! Here! This week we delivered what I would call a "normal" episode. We graciously allow the ROHheads to have their fun with Nigel/Danielson, we talk through Mox and Darby, we celebrate the Young Bucks and their good match and their mind-blowing sartorial choices. Mariah and Mina are giving us the lesbian drama we so crave, and don't worry, we definitely somehow got distracted talking about James FitzJames and the Terror for like 20 minutes as we filibuster the ending of our own podcast. (00:00) Chitchat Time & Merch Announcement! (09:34) Bryan Danielson vs. Nigel McGuiness (20:10) Mox vs. Darby and Mox/Danielson (35:50) Young Bucks and Tag Division (57:27) Hook and Roddy (1:08:24) Mariah and Mina (1:12:54) The Conglomeration (mostly a digression on polar expeditions)
It's the fifth installment of our From the Reviews series! If you give us a 5* review on any platform and shoot us a message with a request, we'll watch whatever match you ask and record ourselves watching it! In this episode we watched: (00:00) Intro (01:58) Go Shiozaki vs Katsuhiko Nakajima (requested by @Manu_Niite on twitter) (36:31) Jamie Hayter vs Roxxy (requested by Chris Gannon) (59:27) Nick Gage vs. Matt Cardona (requested by Eric Sunderman) (1:36:13) Shibata vs Akiyama (requested by @black_urn on twitter)
Every Sunday, Tunnel Talk triumphantly publishes an episode we're proud of and worked hard on. This week, we decided to do something a little different. This episode is not good. The girls incoherently discussed the developments in the BCC, tried valiantly to make any sense at all while covering Mariah and Mina, absolutely misremembered half of the Elite storylines, and I think somehow lurched through vague thoughts on Ricochet, Hangman, and OC. Look, we're allowed to have bad weeks. Just skip this one. (00:00) Chit Chat Time (11:30) BCC (28:23) Digression about gas station (36:24) Mariah May (43:59) Digression about gas station (48:45) The Elite (1:01:24) Ricochet/Ospreay (1:07:53) Digression about gas station (1:08:49) Bryan Danielson's faults for some reason (1:11:56) Hangman/Jeff Jarrett (1:15:42) Learning Tree/OC/another digression/FTR
The girls were exhausted this week but brought a real Friday night party energy to the pod, where we could NOT stop from circling back on our billionaire vanity project, a wrestling promotion that shows only at our very special and VERY popular gas station. So that's fun. We also talk through what makes for a sexy storyline (and it's NOT copying what other people are doing) as we review the highs and lows of All Out. Swerve and Hangman were soooooo violent and sooooo sexy, Mox was sooooo violent and sooooo sexy, Willow and Kris were — well, you get it. Yeah, we like the sexy murder pay-per-view for freaks! (00:00) Chitchat Time (09:47) Announcements and Podcast Business (12:41) All Out Overview (14:34) MJF and Danny Garcia (22:15) Swerve and Hangman (42:41) Danielson, Mox, Darby, Nigel (1:00:05) Young Bucks vs. Claudio & Yuta, Tag Division (1:14:39) Pac and Ospreay (1:17:10) Ricochet and Sammy Guevara and Chuck Taylor (1:22:51) Willow Nightingale and Kris Statlander (1:27:01) The Continental Conglomeration (1:42:01) Mariah and Mina
The girls are back together and JUST in time as Hangman burns down Swerve's house in the most romantic way we've ever seen. Not to be outdone, Mox shows up and sexually rewires little Jack Perry, and we overheated about it. Plus MJF's turkey hair was NOT worth his money, Okada's Continental Congress better yield some fun results, Matt Jackson took down his lovely hair for us, and we're starting a wrestling company that airs only on gas station pumps. Enjoy! (00:00) Intro (13:41) Swerve/Hangman (33:51) MJF/Garcia (47:34) Mox/Darby/Jack/Danielson/Bucks (1:17:15) Binders full of women
Anne is out this week, and we had our bestie James Boyd help us tackle the electric events of last weekend's All In and this week's abrupt lurch towards All Out. Our cold, drizzly, British summer has given way to the SEXIEST autumn imaginable as Swerve finishes up his feud with Danielson and immediately admits to sitting outside Hangman's house for hours just to get a glimpse. Who's doing it like them? Plus Mox is home from his long voyage on the seas ransacking royal navy ships, Ricochet goes here now, and we guess Dax Harwood is better than Hitler. It's a good one! (00:00) Intro (7:36) General All In thoughts (22:01) Danielson/Swerve/Hangman (39:23) Danielson/Jack Perry/Darby (51:52) Mox's Return (1:02:48) Casino Gauntlet and Ricochet Debut (1:17:36) MJF/Ospreay (1:27:23) the State of the Women's Division (1:43:13) The Bucks and Grizzled Young Vets
It's a punchy one this week as the girls discuss the run up to All In! What a strange and inadequate build most of these matches have had. We get into what worked and what didn't with MJF and Ospreay, and big ditto for Bryan Danielson and Swerve. Heel patriotism, MJF? During the summer of the Olympics and the newly revitalized DNC?!? Bad timing, brother. And otherwise, what don't we talk about? The Hangman interview, a BTE obituary, a wrestling game where you lose health points as you try to convince your stars to lose matches, and of course, Minnesota senior senator Amy Klobuchar. (00:00) Chitchat Time (07:22) All In Overall Thoughts (11:39) MJF and Ospreay (25:52) Swerve and Danielson (55:01) Casino Gauntlet match (58:11) Hangman Adam Page (1:06:33) Young Bucks, FTR, Darby, Jack Perry, Acclaimed (1:21:30) Mercedes and Britt (1:23:19) Toni and Mariah (1:26:11) Chris Jericho and Hook (1:29:12) Trios & Zero Hour
It was an enjoyable week of wrestling and BOY, does that go a long way when it comes to our tolerance for nonsense! Which Bryan Danielson is still mostly providing on the main event scene, but we felt more charitable towards it this week and hey: he tried. (Sort of.) But Swerve is doing the work all by himself, and you know what else we got to see? Mercedes and Shida, opening Dynamite! Mariah May cutting a promo that's an all-timer! The Young Bucks, wrestling! Finally, some treats for girls!! (00:00) Chitchat Time & What's Making Lea Happy (09:45) Mercedes and Britt and Shida (22:36) Swerve and Bryan Danielson (38:38) Hangman and Jeff Jarrett (44:26) Young Bucks, the Acclaimed, FTR (56:29) OC and the Conglomeration (1:08:44) Claudio and Okada (1:11:34) Mariah May promo (1:13:50) Darby and Jack Perry (1:18:21) Christian Cage (1:19:46) Ospreay and MJF (1:20:55) Hook
The girls are feeling AWFULLY targeted by the booking decisions on AEW this week, so we take a speed run through most of it, pausing to discuss how Swerve is carrying the entire upper card on his back, Toni's making break up graphics to spam her tumblr with, Orange Cassidy is acting OUT, and Sweetie boy Kyle is trying his very best to understand Ospreay's new code of ethics. After that, we play a game called, “Hey Tony, booking tag teams isn't THAT hard!” (00:00) Chitchat time (7:24) Swerve Danielson (25:14) Toni and Mariah (28:00) OFTR (53:47) Ospreay and Kyle (1:00:34) Tag team game!
This week in AEW, Bryan "Rafiki from Lion King" Danielson was in the moment and preaching the gospel of stability and emotional balance. Disgusting. Your girls breakdown that promo and also compare the success of Swerve's response! Then we turn our attention to two gladiators who have never fought each other for us before: Darby and Hangman. We are at our leisure to see that again. Plus Mariah elaborates on her motivations, Kyle Fletcher defends his big brother with all the fire in his sweetieboy heart, we ADORE the new tag men MxM, and for the love of god, will SOMEONE get Orange Cassidy an appointment with a guidance counselor? (00:00) Intro (16:26) Danielson and Swerve (38:10) Darby and Hangman (53:25) Toni, Mariah, Willow, Kris (1:06:52) Ospreay and MJF (1:16:00) MxM, FTR, Acclaimed and the Bucks (1:31:49) Conglomeromenon
Wrestling is in a summer slump, but this week we had BLOOD N GUTS, BABY, and it reinvigorated us! The girls spend waaaaay too much of the podcast talking through that match and the related stories, because we deserve it! We also discuss a frankly inexplicable promo where Jeff Jarrett (??) tries to inspire (???) Bryan Danielson, why Swerve vs. Danielson isn't working, and how we're going to off ourselves if they make us watch Bucks vs. FTR AGAIN at Wembley. But the women's division is doing great and Swerve and Hangman? They're going to make us [redacted] [redacted] until we [redacted]. (00:00) Chitchat time & What's Making Lea Happy (14:50) Blood and Guts and Related Storylines (49:31) Swerve vs. Danielson (59:11) Bucks vs FTR (1:05:42) Mariah May and Toni Storm (1:11:05) Kris and Willow (1:17:11) MJF and Ospreay (1:26:42) The Idle Midcard
We're back!!! Refreshed, rejuvenated, with our feelings now much smaller fish in their beautiful pond. And we tackled a week that — well, it could've been better, but it certainly could've been worse. Danielson is going to fight Swerve in the electric atmosphere of Wembley Stadium, and maybe someday they'll start building that match. Meanwhile, the Blood n Guts build hasn't been that compelling but at least we got to see Nick Jackson's beautiful boobs — on twitter, not TV, because TV was busy spending one full hour on Ospreay fighting MJF. But while the men are phoning it in, the woman could not be doing better, and we are absolutely THRILLING to Mariah May's brutal psychotic heel turn on Toni Storm! Plus, Mercedes and Britt are doing great work and Britt got to do a Big Old Fashioned Mask Reveal. Join us for this and so much more! P.S. We're going to be on the Gateleapers podcast's AEW episode being released on July 25! We didn't even embarrass ourselves that bad! (00:00) Podcast Business and What's Making Anne Happy (12:38) Hangman, Bryan Danielson, Swerve (21:11) Blood n Guts build and the Elite (40:19) Toni Storm and Mariah May (51:29) MJF and Ospreay (1:04:36) Mercedes and Britt
It's a big juicy PPV episode and we had a LOT to talk about. There was an epidemic of male tenderness sweeping AEW as rivals cradled each other post match and uhhhh yeah, your local freaks were into it! You know what else we were into? Mina and Toni settled their issues with a threeway kiss! And Hangman came back and was the meanest maddest heel ever before sexually menacing Matt Jackson! And Britt came back and her abs were incredible! And OC did some sexual exploration with Zack Sabre Jr.! Is that enough exclamation points?!?! (00:00) Chitchat Time & What's Making Allie Happy (08:56) Forbidden Door Overview (16:44) Swerve vs. Ospreay (26:15) Ospreay vs. Danny Garcia plus MJF (42:48) Mercedes Mone, Stephanie Vaquer, Britt Baker (53:09) Hangman returns! The girls discuss the arrivals of Zack Sabre Jr, Tanahashi, Ishii, Gabe Kidd and more guys we definitely recognize! Plus the Owen wildcard is making everyone loco in their brains, Toni, Mariah and Mina are making *us* loco in OUR brains, Mark Briscoe is making Kyle O'Reilly loco in HIS brain, and MJF is real mad not to be the prettiest boy at the party anymore. Hey, just tell us. Is this going okay? 00:00 Intro 10:29 Learning Tree 21:03 The Elite 27:52 Lio/Dante/Darius 36:52 Toni/Mariah/Mina 48:10 Mox and the BCC 53:09 The Conglomeration 1:06:40 MJF, Swerve Ospreay
It was a fun week in AEW and we hit the highlights, from the Young Bucks actually wrestling to Christian Cage's Father's Day tribute! Swerve and Ospreay did sexy sexy kissing pose, and so did Orange Cassidy and Zack Sabre, Jr, so that's right, boys, kissing's back on the menu! The girls have of course had it covered the whole time, and Mariah, Mina and Toni brought even more weird psychosexual stew to the table with a big contract signing this week. Join us as we discuss that and so much more! We're also going to be the Poisonrana Pod's Charity Stream to raise money for the Maddy Cusack Foundation on Saturday, June 29! We'll be appearing from 2:00-2:30 pm Eastern time, so tune in to watch us play some games and then donate to this great cause! Your girls are doing a lite run through this week--we NEEDED a little summer treat! After a brief discussion of the Orange Cassidy/Kyle O'Reilly/Don Callis Family Universe, we skip on over to check in on mommy's little Elite and the ELECTRIC energy between Swerve and Will Ospreay. We say "I'll have what they're having!" Once we're done being complete perverts, it's over to our very special summer themed dating game, which somehow didn't end up very summery OR date-y but hey, that's how it goes sometimes! 00:00 Intro 12:54 - OC, Kylo, Willow, Stat, Trent and DCF 35:53 Elite + Swerve/Ospreay 1:02:39 Game
It's our fourth installment of our From the Reviews series! If you give us a 5* review on any platform and shoot us a message with a request, we'll watch whatever match you ask and record ourselves watching it! In this episode we watched: 3:20 Mystery Wrestling 5 (requested by @cfettback on twitter) 24:06 Chiitan & Pokotan Vs Andreza Giant Panda & Super Sasadango Machine (requested by @kingofthenorth on Twitter) 47:08 Kenny vs Ibushi 2008 (requested by Charles) 1:06:30 Kenny vs Ospreay (requested by Cody)
This week we get to talk about all our favorite things: the Elite having a storyline! The Best Friends having a storyline! Mariah, Toni and Mina having a love triangle! Plus we get to clarify some stuff about Having a Special Guy, as well as really get into OUR very special guy, Chuck Taylor, FINALLY giving us more information on his injury. Do we sound crazy talking about it? Of course we do, he's our special little guy! Plus, if Taz and Tony Schiavone don't work out what's going on with them and resolve some of this conflict we are absolutely going to go insane. It's another Tunnel Talk, baby, buckle up! And FYI, on June 29, we're going to be on the Poisonrana Pod's Charity Stream to raise money for the Maddy Cusack Foundation! We'll be appearing from 2:00-2:30 pm Eastern time, so tune in to watch us play some games and then donate to this great cause! It's our post-Double or Nothing episode (Deeble or Neeble for the real ones) and the girls once again bravely break away from the wrestling podcasting herd and say things like "It was a fun show," "Enjoyed watching that match." Please don't cancel us, folks! We discuss: our aborted love affair with The Brood, the absolute insanity of Anarchy in the Arena, the joy of finally getting to see Mercedes wrestle, and the searing agony we felt watching Orange Cassidy writhe in the ring, Completely Alone. Join us for the hot takes you're not getting ANYWHERE else! 00:00 Chitchat Time 06:10 Cope and Malakai 18:44 Anarchy in the Arena 36:52 Ospreay and the Gauntlet 50:32 Swerve and Christian 1:02:30 Willow and Mercedes 1:20:47 MJF 1:29:50 OC, Trent and the Don Callis Family
It's ice cold shower season and maybe that's why your girls showed up in such a good mood this week, but we had LOTS to talk about. Trent and OC continue their psychological torture of us and each other, and we have a live-on-the-air realization that Dustin Chuck Taylor may have been the first wrestler we saw go out on his back! Team AEW is not doing their best work but our beautiful Elite are doing great storytelling, as are Swerve and Christian, and shockingly, even Malakai Black decided to be interesting for the first time in years. This week had flamethrowers, it had TK in an SUV, it had a period bloodbath — but the most important thing we talk about is the utter failure of the wrestling media. Media criticism? From Tunnel Talk? You'll have to listen to find out! Your girls are having a wild one this week and their grasp on the “facts” is way looser than normal. They discuss: Claudio and his grudge against Eddie, The Elite and the futility of expecting us to root against them, the newest development in the Mina/Mariah/Toni storyline, and whether Jericho University is fully accredited. Don't bother us, we're busy interpreting! 00:00 Chit Chat Time 6:48 BCC 16:44 Elite 41:18 Mercedes and Willow 47:12 Swerve 55:41 Mina/Toni/Mariah 1:00:02 Cope 1:15:24 Jericho
Your bravest girls bear up under another week that's trying to keep them down! Mommy's very best elite are doing their finest work and we vote to LEAVE them in charge forever. Plus, we try to get to the bottom of what's going on in the Toni/Mariah/Mina triangle and we're starting to suspect lesbionic activity. Also we try frantically to become medical professionals in the wake of Chuck Taylor's diagnosis which has mixed results. What's making us happy? Not this! 00:00 Chit Chat Time 09:38 Team Elite vs Team AEW 25:39 Swerve and Christian 35:01 Serena Dweeb and the WLW scene 48:44 Big Cope 58:58 Best Friends
Well friends, Chuck Taylor is dead, and may his memory be a blessing to all of us. The girls process their big feelings about Orange Cassidy's announcement and speculate about Dustin's future. It is simply not rewarding being a Chuck Taylor fan. In happier news, the Elite have taken over Dynamite, and honestly, we think they're doing a great job. Sorry Kenny! Plus Serena Deeb is scaring the hoes, and Chris Jericho is back on top. It's a mixed bag! 00:00 Chit Chat Time 05:05 Best friends 27:48 Elite 48:34 Toni and Serena Deeb 54:43 Cope and Kyle 1:02:09 Jericho
This week was QUITE an exciting one for Fun Loving Girls, so as a treat we went long to talk about ALL our favorites. We were giving out awards left and right: Trent Beretta, congrats on your Most Persuasive Argument Award for a truly coherent and impressive Heel Turn Monologue. Jack “JB” Perry, GREAT work on snagging the coveted Damon Salvatore Mommy's Little Ham award. And Nicholas Jackson? You took your shirt off so you got a very much deserved MVP/Locker Room Leader award, and tell your brother that if he does the same, there's another one where that came from. Your plaques will be arriving in Jacksonville shortly. Plus: Swerve's the World Champ!!! Willow's the TBS champ!!!! Ospreay and Danielson put on a banger! Toni Storm's gimmick continues to kill, and you must NEVER count out Chris Jericho! 00:00 - Chitchat Time 07:41 - World Champion Swerve Strickland 16:19 - Callis Family - Ospreay vs. Danielson 29:56 - Kylo Riley's Pale Heaving Belly 34:57 - Best Friends!!!!!! 51:56 - Willow Nightingale 57:03 - The New Elite!!!!! 1:21:53 - Toni Storm 1:30:10 - Chris Jericho
Mox came back and suddenly AEW feels like home again! We discuss the BCC's feud with the Don Callis family and whether Ospreay has any concept of why it's happening. Then it's over to mommy's little Elite and this week, Okada receives a very prestigious award! But he's not the only one getting accolades this week, we also feel incredible relief over Jericho's increasing confidence as he welcomes all of us to his Learning Tree atop Wizard Mountain. We do a check in with the heartbreakers formerly known as Best Friends and the horndogs in the Women's division. And as always, Stay Frosty! 00:00 Chit Chat Time 08:23 Mox return, Don Callis and Ospreay 21:14 The Elite 39:23 Jericho 57:36 Best Friends 01:08:38 Willow, Mercedes, Cope 01:15:14 Stardom, Mariah, Toni and Rosa 1:24:29 Swerve and Joe
It was a weird week in wrestling, and we discuss our mixed feelings about AEW airing All In backstage footage of CM Punk attacking Jack Perry. But even though parts of that were a bit of a bummer, at least we had a great time seeing the unlikely tag team of Willow Nightingale and Adam Copeland come together, and were very entertained by witnessing what seemed to be Alex Marvez's first time sitting in a chair! Plus, kissing??? Tender perfect kissing between Mariah May and Mina Shirakawa? And if that weren't enough, we got to indulge ourselves in a little wrestling regency game and boy, did we have fun! Hey guys? Greg turned heel. Greg turned heel and he kicked OC and Dustin left with Sue, and OC was left in the ring. Cue Taps, and 1 billion years of sobbing. We talk about some other stuff too, like Kris going heel, Joe actually bothering to be a heel, and Dave Meltzer's hypothetical reaction to Ospreay having something called a Kissing Match. Also? Greg went heel. We only had a luxurious, cool two hours of AEW to review this week and your girls frankly enjoyed reveling in it! We get into the taggy tourney in all its important manifestations: Young Bucks, Best Friends (OC and Trent version), and of course, the Other, Less Fun side of the bracket. We also talk about what's going on with Chris "Big J" Jericho, exhort Samoa Joe to start pulling his weight on the World Title group project, and give a little undeserved time to our favorite cannibal Kylo Riley. Some of our listeners who've left five star reviews took advantage of our rewards program to make us watch a match of their choosing, and BOY did they deliver! Rory Beckett gave us Swerve vs. Athena and those were some EXTREME HUNKS IN ACTION. Then Young Boy Joshua Smith of Keepin' It Strong Style got us to watch a 1985 I Quit match between Magnum TA and Tully Blanchard and uhhhh that was a lot more sexually compelling than we were prepared for. Tim Hunter gave us a Stardom Escape the Cage match that was frankly the best thing I've ever seen in my life - honestly we now have big plans to become Stardom bitches and learn Japanese. Swaggamice had us watch Lucha Underground, whose aesthetics made us declare AEW to be trash, and finally, Angelkitty6201 had us watch MCMG vs. Generation Me (Young Bucks) in an empty arena match that we hadn't watched up to this point for fear of it being TOO activating, and guess what, we were right! It's Tunnel Talk's third anniversary, and as is traditional, the girls are in their cups! Despite slowly descending into a negroni hole, your hosts still manage to cover the horniness of the I Can't Quit You Match, the diversity of storylines in the women's division, the impending end to our podcast over Ospreay's likeabilty, and who is not participating in the group project that is the Swerve/Joe feud.
