Kevin, Matt and Tony are back with another exciting episode of The Shining Wizards Wrestling Podcast The soft open, the boys try and button up this nonsense about Tony & the Can You Beat That Championship committee. We get a little clarity, but we still don't have a clue what is going on. We quickly catch up before we are joined by our guests, The Death Samurai AKIRA. He's had a shit travel day but is kind enough to join us. We talk about being a deathmatch wrestler, Jon Moxley wearing his hoodie on Dynamite, Masha, OPW, H20, wrestling his significant other and much more. Its a great interview and insight to AKIRA. A man you should have your eyes on. After a quick break we briefly touch on the Ibushi situation, before talking about Cody Rhodes being the guy to take the title off of Roman Reigns. This turns into a conversation about guys who didn't work out in one promotion but were successful in another, and leads to us taking a premature trip Down the Aisle to talk Lex Luger and SummerSlam 1993, Tatanka, Allied Powers and more. We get back on track with some this and that's about NJPW, Impact Wrestling, MLW, and NWA. Does seeing Jay White lose in Impact effect his stock in New Japan Pro Wrestling? We talk about the Ric Flair news, and that's an interesting conversation. Then against Tony's wishes we do a proper down the aisle, back to a random USWA card from 1995. We talk about Gorgeous George 3, Mark Curtis, Robert Gibson & Ricky Morton in solo runs, David Jericho, & more. Its the perfect Down the Aisle to end the show Remember to Rate, Review and Subscribe if you enjoy this show. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/the-shining-wizards/support

A special welcome to those of you listening on TheWrestlingRevolution.com. If you want to bring our updates to your website...email us: desk@justprowrestlingnews.com. (STINGER: NJPW) Kota Ibushi is sounding like someone who has wrestled his last match in New Japan. Depending on how you translate it, Ibushi replied to a fan on Twitter by writing he's either “now” fired” or expects he will be fired…for publicly airing his grievances with the New Japan office along with text messages he exchanged with Kikuchi, who Ibushi describes as a matchmaker. In one of those texts, Kikuchi threatened to end Ibushi's contract. Ibushi wrote he has only told 1/1000th of the story. And if he said too much he would be “executed in the dark”. He added, “I don't have any friends because they think I'm an idiot.” He later replied to a fan's tweet by saying that if he returns to wrestling, “it will be somewhere else.” He's been out of action since he was injured during the G1 Climax final last summer. (STINGER: AEW) MJF will face Wardlow at Double or Nothing…on a few conditions. Wardlow must take 10 lashes from MJF on next week's Dynamite. Wardlow must face Shawn Spears inside a steel cage with MJF as the special guest referee. Plus, if Wardlow loses at Double or Nothing, he can never sign an AEW contract. HookHausen is a reality. Hook & Danhausen will team up on the Double or Nothing “Buy In” pre-show…against Tony Nese & Mark Sterling. Danhausen's AEW in-ring debut last night was…very brief. Tony Nese pinned him in a matter of seconds thanks to a distraction by Mark Sterling. Hook saved Danhausen from a post-match attack and then, shook Danhausen's hand! Three Owen Hart Foundation Tournament matches went down last night. Toni Storm beat Jamie Hayter. Jeff Hardy cradled Darby Allin for a pinfall win. And Adam Cole used the Sharpshooter to get a submission win over Dax Harwood. Ricky Starks is still the FTW Champion. He beat Jungle Boy after some ringside involvement by Swerve Strickland backfired. Also on the show, The Blackpool Combat Club joined forces with Eddie Kingston, Santana & Ortiz to beat up on the Jericho Appreciation Society. This Friday's Rampage will once again start early - at 5:30 PM Eastern. Tony Khan says there will be another Grand Slam special from Arthur Ashe Stadium “in a few months”. (STINGER: WWE) The NXT UK Championship is on the line today. Ilja Dragunov will defend against Jordan Devlin. The lost must leave NXT UK. PWInsider reports NXT's will hold its next live streaming special In Your House on Saturday, June 4th. Cameron Grimes defending the North American Title against Carmelo Hayes is already announced for the show. (STINGER: Impact) The challenger for Josh Alexander's Impact World Championship at Slammiversary will be determined on tonight's Impact in a Gauntlet For The Gold match. Meanwhile, Alexander & New Japan's Tomohiro Ishii will face Bullet Club's Jay White & El Phantasmo. Ace Austin will defend the X-Division Title in an Ultimate X Match at Slammiversary. Kenny King will face Chris Bey in a qualifying match on tonight's Impact. Also on tonight's show, The Influence defends the Knockouts Tag Titles against Gisele Shaw & Alisha. Tonight's MLW Fusion has an Apocalypto Match between Jacob Fatu and Bestia 666. Plus, Mil Muertes defends the MLW Caribbean Championship in a 4-way “Cyclone Match” against El Dragon, El Hijo de LA Park, and Octagon Jr. That's JUST Pro Wrestling News for Thursday, May 12th. Listen and subscribe at www.JustProWrestlingNews.com I'm Matt Carlins and this is JUST Pro Wrestling News for Friday, October 22, 2021. This update is brought to you by IndyWrestling.us. (STINGER: WWE) Expect some fallout from Thursday's Crown Jewel pay per view on tonight's SmackDown. Roman Reigns is STILL the Universal Champion coming out of Crown Jewel. He took advantage of a knocked-out referee, hit Brock Lesnar in the head with the title belt and pinned him to retain the gold. That title belt was slid into the ring by Paul Heyman, but who it was intended for was left...deliberately vague. Tonight's SmackDown is also the first WWE show with the new post-Draft rosters now in effect...and the situation involving the two women's singles championships on WWE's main roster remains a bit of a mess. Becky Lynch is still the SmackDown Women's Champion. She pinned Sasha Banks with a rollup while holding the bottom rope to win a 3-Way over Banks and Bianca Belair. So, Lynch is now officially part of the Raw roster, despite holding the SmackDown Women's Title...while Charlotte Flair is now on the SmackDown roster while holding the Raw Women's Title. We still don't know what WWE is going to do about this. Getting back to Crown Jewel...Big E hit the Big Ending and pinned Drew McIntyre to retain the WWE Championship. Xavier Woods is the King Of The Ring. He pinned Finn Balor with a springboard elbow drop. Zelina Vega is the first winner of the Queen's Crown tournament. She pinned Doudrop with a Code Red after about six minutes of action. Goldberg pinned Bobby Lashley to win their No Holds Barred match...after Goldberg speared Lashley off the stage. Edge beat Seth Rollins in their Hell In A Cell showdown. Mansoor beat Mustafa Ali. After the match, Tarek Hamdi, an Olympic silver medalist for Saudi Arabia in taekwondo, showed up and knocked out Ali. Randy Orton & Riddle beat AJ Styles & Omos to retain the Raw Tag Titles. Styles took the pin. The Usos beat Shelton Benjamin & Cedric Alexander on the kickoff show. On Thursday's NXT UK… Jordan Devlin pinned Joe Coffey with the Devlin Side in the main event. Aleah James pinned Xia Brookside with a diving sunset flip from the second rope. Xia was NOT happy about this result. Jack Starz & Dave Mastiff got a DQ win over Symbiosis after Eddie Dennis attacked Starz with a steel chair. (STINGER: AEW) AEW's World Title Eliminator Tournament begins on tonight's Rampage...with Orange Cassidy vs. Powerhouse Hobbs. The TBS Championship Tournament bracket will be revealed. Also, AEW Women's Champion Dr. Britt Baker vs. Anna Jay… And Andrade El Idolo vs. Pac. (STINGER: New Japan) The biggest story to come out of Thursday may be one we didn't expect - the surprise in-ring return of Katsuyori Shibata. It happened just after the intermission of New Japan's G1 Climax Final show. Just about everyone was stunned to see Shibata walk out for an unannounced exhibition match against Zack Sabre Jr. Wearing little more than shorts and sneakers, the two grappled their way to a time limit draw after a mere FIVE minutes of action. This was NOT a hard-hitting match...but for fans of Shibata...it was something...and the hope that there may be more to come. Shibata was forced into retirement by a head injury, suffered during a match back in 2017. The G1 Climax final itself...was a bit of a buzzkill. Kota Ibushi injured his right arm when he missed a Phoenix Splash. It was ruled that Ibushi could not continue...and Kazuchika Okada was declared the G1 winner. (STINGER: Impact) Impact Wrestling last night put the final pieces in place for Saturday's Bound For Glory pay per view. The Good Brothers will defend the Impact Tag Titles in a 3-Way against BOTH FinJuice AND Bullet Club's Chris Bey & Hikuleo. The challenging teams met last night - but the match ended in a double pin...after two referees ended up in the ring and both counted a pinfall. The six wrestlers who will meet on Saturday to decide the first Impact Digital Media Champion came together for a 3-Way Tag Team Match last night. John Skyler & Tenille Dashwood beat Crazzy Steve & Chelsea Green and Jordynne Grace & Fallah Bahh. Dashwood pinned Fallah Bahh after hitting him with the Spotlight Kick. Also last night...Mickie James pinned Savannah Evans with her signature DDT. Trey Miguel beat Alex Zayne. AND Brian Myers kicked Sam Beale and Manny Lemons out from under his Learning Tree. W. Morrissey beat Jake Something on Before The Impact. (STINGER: ROH) It's all Violence Unlimited vs. The Foundation on this weekend's Ring Of Honor TV. Jay Lethal goes one on one with Homicide. Listen and subscribe at www.JustProWrestlingNews.com I'm Matt Carlins and this is JUST Pro Wrestling News for Monday, October 18, 2021. This update is brought to you by IndyWrestling.us. (STINGER: WWE) Tonight's Raw is in Sacramento, California...and it's the last stop before Thursday's Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia. Two wrestlers will punch their tickets to the show tonight. Jinder Mahal and Xavier Woods meet in a King Of The Ring semifinal. Finn Balor awaits in the final at Crown Jewel after he beat Sami Zayn on last Friday's SmackDown. A Queen's Crown semifinal has Doudrop vs. Shayna Baszler...with the winner heading to Crown Jewel to meet Zelina Vega in the final. Vega used a small package to pin Carmella on SmackDown...thanks to an assist from Liv Morgan. Baszler helped Sonya Deville win a 2-on-1 match against Naomi on SmackDown. Also announced for tonight: Charlotte Flair is set to defend the Raw Women's Championship against Bianca Belair. Belair was on last Friday's SmackDown, where she helped Sasha Banks win a non-title match over SmackDown Women's Champ Becky Lynch. The Raw Tag Champs Randy Orton & Riddle have a non-title match tonight against the Street Profits. The Profits lost a Street Fight to the SmackDown Tag Champs The Usos on last Friday's SmackDown. Also tonight, WWE Champ Big E & Drew McIntyre vs. Doplh Ziggler & Robert Roode. Rhea Ripley tweeted Sunday that her gear bag, which was also carrying her WWE Women's Tag Team Championship belt, is missing...apparently misplaced after WWE's show in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Saturday. (STINGER: New Japan) We're into the final week of New Japan's G1 Climax tournament. Monday's matches in the A Block will decide one half of the tournament final. Four men are still alive...and tied at 12 points apiece at the top of the A Block standings: Kota Ibushi, Zack Sabre Jr., KENTA and Shingo Takagi. BUT none of them control their own destiny. Ibushi and KENTA will meet in Monday's main event. If Ibushi beats KENTA...and Sabre loses his match against Tanga Loa...Ibushi wins the block. But if BOTH Ibushi and Sabre win on Monday...Sabre wins the block. If BOTH Ibushi and Sabre LOSE...Takagi can take the block...IF he beats Yujiro Takahashi. KENTA's path is the most complicated. He must beat Ibushi...and also have Takagi lose...OR have Takagi AND Sabre BOTH win. Simple, right? On Saturday's New Japan Strong… Will Ospreay pinned Karl Fredericks with Hidden Blade. After the match, TJP was revealed as the newest member of the United Empire. New Japan announced Buddy Matthews - the former Buddy Murphy in WWE - will be part of its Battle In The Valley show in San Jose on Saturday, November 13th. New AAA Tag Team Champions were crowned on Saturday night's AEW Dynamite. FTR - who entered under the masked guise of The Super Ranas - beat the Lucha Brothers...pinning Rey Fenix after hitting him in the head with one of the title belts. (STINGER: AEW) At least four matches are announced for tonight's AEW Dark: Elevation...including Nyla Rose, Emi Sakura & Diamante vs. Red Velvet, Ryo Mizunami & Kilynn King. The bracket for the 8-man World Title Eliminator Tournament is now unveiled. Matches begin on next Friday's Rampage with Orange Cassidy vs. Powerhouse Hobbs. The winner will meet the winner of a match between Jon Moxley and Dark Order's 10. The other side of the bracket will have Bryan Danielson vs. Dustin Rhodes...and Eddie Kingston vs. Lance Archer. Those two matches will happen on next Saturday's Dynamite. The bracket for the TBS Championship tournament will be revealed on Friday night's Rampage. On this past Saturday's Dynamite...The Young Bucks & Adam Cole beat Dark Order's John Silver, Alex Reynolds & Evil Uno. Malakai Black beat Dante Martin. Martin had Lio Rush in his corner. Bryan Danielson submitted Bobby Fish. Penelope Ford submitted Kiera Hogan. Jon Moxley plowed through Wheeler Yuta in less than a minute. Friday night's Rampage saw Scorpio Sky, Ethan Page & former UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior Dos Santos beat The Inner Circle's Chris Jericho, Jake Hager & TNT Champion Sammy Guevara. Sky pinned Jericho after a distraction by Paige Van Zant set up Jericho to be hit by Jorge Masvidal's running knee strike. CM Punk beat Matt Sydal. Ruby Soho used a backslide to pin The Bunny, but after the match...Penelope Ford & The Bunny attacked Soho and knocked her out with a pair of brass knuckles. On the LIVE Buy In on YouTube Friday night...Bryan Danielson pinned New Japan's Minoru Suzuki...and Bobby Fish beat Lee Moriarty. It was officially announced late Friday night that Moriarty is now signed with AEW. That's JUST Pro Wrestling News for Monday, October 18th. (STINGER: WWE) A WWE Championship match is set to kick off tonight's Raw...with Big E defending against the former champ, Bobby Lashley. Lashley laid out the challenge during last night's Extreme Rules pay per view...not long after Big E and the rest of The New Day beat Lashley, AJ Styles & Omos to open the show. Big E pinned Lashley with the Big Ending after some miscommunication between Lashley and Styles. Sasha Banks returned to WWE TV last night. It happened during the SmackDown Women's Title match between Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair. Belair appeared to be moments away from hitting Lynch with the KOD and taking back the title, BUT that's when Banks made her return. She went right after Belair. Then, after a brief staredown, Banks took down Lynch as well. As Banks made her way back up the ramp, she could be heard saying, “I'll see both of you on Friday.” Roman Reigns is STILL the Universal Champion. He pinned THE DEMON Finn Balor in last night's main event...and there's a lot to unpack here. Balor was closing in when The Usos got involved and beat up on Balor. He appeared to be down and out, but then the lights turned red, Balor's music started to play and he powered up...to the point that he was poised to hit Reigns with the Coup De Grace. That's when the top rope inexplicably snapped. The lights went back to normal. The music stopped...and Reigns hit Balor with a Spear to get the win. Charlotte Flair pinned Alexa Bliss with Natural Selection to retain the Raw Women's Champion. After the match, Charlotte ripped Lilly to shreds...and Bliss basically had a nervous breakdown over this. Damian Priest is still the United States Champion. He won a 3-Way over Sheamus and Jeff Hardy. Priest rolled up Sheamus to get the pin. The Usos beat the Street Profits to retain the SmackDown Tag Titles. Montez Ford took the pin. Liv Morgan pinned Carmella on last night's Kickoff Show. MVP underwent surgery last week to repair a torn meniscus he suffered all the way back in February. He said he expects to be back on TV within the next 4-to-6 weeks. (STINGER: AEW) Tonight's AEW Dark: Elevation...has Paul Wight in a 3-on-1 match. Plus, Thunder Rosa is in singles action...and Dark Order's John Silver, Alex Reynolds, Alan “5” Angels & 10 will be in an 8-Man Tag. (STINGER: New Japan) TWO wrestlers remain unbeaten in the A Block of New Japan's G1 Climax tournament following Sunday's matches. Zack Sabre Jr. submitted Kota Ibushi. Sabre now holds tournament wins over Ibushi, Shingo Takagi and Tetsuya Naito. The other unbeaten is Great-O-Khan. He beat Yujiro Takahashi on Sunday. Also, KENTA pinned Tomohiro Ishii with a schoolboy after crashing Ishii into an exposed turnbuckle. And Toru Yano used a low blow and a rollup to pin Tanga Loa. Shingo Takagi had the non-tournament match. He pinned Yuji Nagata. The G1 resumes on Wednesday with matches in the B Block. On Saturday's New Japan Strong...Ren Narita beat Fred Rosser...and Jay White beat Wheeler Yuta. After the match, White got into a brawl with Tomohiro Ishii...which ended with White laying out Ishii with a Bladerunner. Back in Japan... Syuri is the winner of Stardom's 5 Star Grand Prix tournament. She beat Momo Watanabe in the tournament final on Saturday. In Pro-Wrestling NOAH, the final four is set in the N-1 Victory tournament. Next Sunday, it'll be Kaito Kiyomiya vs. Kenoh and Masakatsu Funaki vs. Katsuhiko Nakajima...with the winners meeting in the tournament final in the main event of that same show. (STINGER: AEW) The Young Bucks will defend their AEW Tag Titles at All Out...inside a steel cage. Their opponents will be determined by a four-team tournament over the next couple weeks. It begins Friday on Rampage - with Jurassic Express facing Private Party. The winner there will face the winner of a match on next Wednesday's Dynamite between the Lucha Brothers and the Varsity Blonds. The Bucks benefited from a lot of outside interference as they beat Jurassic Express last night to retain their tag titles. The Elite laid out Jurassic Express and Christian Cage after the match. Another match announced for All Out: Paul Wight vs. QT Marshall. It will be Wight's first match in over a year. His last one was an Unsanctioned Match against Randy Orton on WWE Raw last July. MJF forced Chris Jericho to tap out to his Salt Of The Earth arm submission to win last night's main event. Sting & Darby Allin beat 2.0 in a wild Tornado Tag Match. It started after 2.0 and Daniel Garcia attacked Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston, who were supposedly heading to the ring for a promo. It never happened. In a backstage promo later in the show...Mox called out a bunch of guys, from Kenny Omega...to Christian Cage...to Hangman Page. Before any of them, Mox will have a match against Daniel Garcia on Friday night's Rampage. As for Kingston, TNT Champion Miro called him out in a pre-recorded segment, saying “The Redeemer wants to talk.” Sammy Guevara pinned Shawn Spears in a hard-fought match that spilled out all around ringside. Thunder Rosa submitted Penelope Ford. Dan Lambert once again bashed AEW during an in-ring promo. He had former UFC champions Andrei Arlovski and Junior dos Santos alongside him. Lance Archer eventually heard enough and made his way to the ring, but before he could get there...Archer was attacked and laid out by Ethan Page & Scorpio Sky. (STINGER: Impact) The new Impact World Champion Christian Cage will be back in the Impact Zone tonight. Also on the show, Melina will make her Impact in-ring debut. Plus, Moose & Ace Austin vs. Sami Callihan & Chris Sabin...Doc Gallows vs. Joe Doering...and Matt Cardona vs. Shera. Kiera Hogan is the latest name added to the Invitational Cup battle royale at the NWA's Empowerrr pay per view on August 28th. Also, the fourth and final team in the NWA Women's Tag Team Title Tournament at Empowerrr is a trio - The Freebabes: Miranda Gordy, Hollywood Haley J and Jazzy Yang. (STINGER: WWE) Today's NXT UK has a pair of title matches… Pretty Deadly defend their tag titles against Moustache Mountain.. Meiko Satomura puts her women's championship on the line against Stevie Turner. Bill Goldberg gave a quick comment on his contract status with WWE...heading into his SummerSlam title match against Bobby Lashley. (Goldberg Contract Status) That clip is from Wednesday's episode of “The Bump”. (STINGER: New Japan) Minoru Suzuki is coming to America. New Japan announced he'll be part of the Autumn Attack shows in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex coming up on September 25th and 26th. Also announced for those shows: Will Ospreay, Jay White, Lance Archer and the current IWGP Junior Tag Champs Taiji Ishimori & El Phantasmo. Back in Japan, a major title match is set for the Wrestle Grand Slam stadium show on September 4th. Hiroshi Tanahashi will defend the IWGP United States Championship against Kota Ibushi. Welcome to the Squared Circle Podcast! I am your host Marie Shadows. It was originally to be Kota Ibushi vs Shingo for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. However, Ibushi is still feeling the affects of the second vaccine shot. Tanahashi - after defeating Kenta on July 24, 2021 - became the replacement for Ibushi. Tana vs Shingo was a last minute match during the main event of Tokyo Dome. Both men delivered a stellar main event that told the story of hope and light in these trying times! And then, Darkness shadowed everything. Listen and subscribe at www.JustProWrestlingNews.com I'm Matt Carlins and this is JUST Pro Wrestling News for Saturday, July 24, 2021. A special welcome to those of you listening on WrestleMap.com. If you want to bring our updates to your website...email us: desk@justprowrestlingnews.com. (STINGER: WWE) Roman Reigns' road to a seemingly inevitable SummerSlam showdown with John Cena...took an unexpected detour on last night's SmackDown. Cena opened the show and demanded Reigns answer his challenge for the match. Reigns didn't show up to face Cena in person. But Reigns eventually showed up at the end of the show...and announced that the answer is “no”. Cena was not present for this. But Finn Balor entered...and issued his own challenge. This time, Reigns agreed...and that's when the show faded to black. Earlier, Balor pinned Sami Zayn with the Coup de Grace. Part of last night's SmackDown was broadcast from the Rolling Loud hip-hop festival in Miami. A massive crowd of music fans got to see two matches. Bianca Belair beat Carmella to retain the SmackDown Women's Championship...and Angelo Dawkins beat Chad Gable. WWE had been promoting Big E vs. Apollo Crews as the second match at Rolling Loud. Instead, those two were in Cleveland...for a segment that also included Dolph Ziggler, Robert Roode, Shinsuke Nakamura - with Rick Boogs - and Cesaro...who said he wants a shot at Crews' Intercontinental Title. Toni Storm's SmackDown debut was a win over Zelina Vega. She pinned her with her new Storm One finisher. Also, Jimmy Uso stole a pinfall win over Dominik Mysterio...with a little leverage assist from Jey Uso. WWE announced it will be running a pay per view on New Year's Day - that's Saturday, January 1st - at State Farm Arena in Atlanta. (STINGER: New Japan) New Japan has a major show on Sunday. It's Wrestle Grand Slam in Tokyo Dome. But as of Friday night, there's still no guarantee that Kota Ibushi will be there for his main event title match. Ibushi is scheduled to challenge Shingo Takagi for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. But Ibushi is recovering from aspiration pneumonia. He's been out of action since he was pulled from a show on July 11th. New Japan is running a Summer Struggle show on Saturday. There could be an announcement during that show. Here's what else is on Sunday's Wrestle Grand Slam card. Tetsuya Naito & SANADA defend the IWGP Tag Titles against the former champs Taichi & Zack Sabre Jr. The Champs stood tall on Friday's Summer Struggle show. Naito pinned Sabre with Destino...and SANADA rolled up Taichi for a pinfall win. Also on Sunday… Kazuchika Okada vs. Jeff Cobb… El Desperado defends his junior title against Robbie Eagles. Rocky Romero & Ryusuke Taguchi challenge Taiji Ishimori & El Phantasmo for the junior tag titles. Plus, Toru Yano defends the provisional KOPW 2021 Title in the New Japan Ranbo. The finals of the Tag Team Turbulence tournament is set on New Japan Strong. On last night's show...The Good Brothers beat Yuji Nagata & Ren Narita...and Chris Dickinson & Brody King beat Royce Isaacs & Jorel Nelson. It's Good Brothers vs. King & Dickinson on next week's Strong. FILTHY Tom Lawlor is still the Strong Openweight Champion. He choked out Satoshi Kojima after interference by JR Kratos. Lawlor's post-match interview backstage was interrupted by...Lio Rush, who wants the next shot at the title. (STINGER: AEW) AEW Women's Champion Dr. Britt Baker revealed Friday that she has a broken right wrist. She apparently sustained the injury during her title defense on Wednesday. Baker tweeted she's “not taking any time off”. The NWA is in Charlotte, North Carolina for The Gathering. It's running a card there Saturday night with Nick Aldis defending his Worlds Heavyweight Championship against Trevor Murdoch...and Kamille defends her NWA women's title for the first time...against Kenzie Paige. GCW is holding two Homecoming shows this weekend. Saturday's show has Nick Gage defending the GCW Championship against Matt Cardona. Also on the card, Drew Parker will challenge Alex Colon for the GCW Ultraviolent Championship. Parker is hustling back from Japan...where he just won Big Japan's Deathmatch Championship on Friday. Sunday's Homecoming show has Ring Of Honor's Jonathan Gresham vs. Starboy Charlie...and AEW's Cezar Bononi vs. Chris Dickinson. (STINGER: Impact) We have the first match announced for the Impact Plus exclusive Homecoming show on July 31st. It'll be W. Morrissey vs. Eddie Edwards in a Hardcore Match. Speaking of Morrissey, he told Sean Waltman's Pro Wrestling 4 Life podcast that his contract with Impact runs through October's Bound For Glory pay per view. (STINGER: ROH) Ring Of Honor's women's championship tournament will begin at the end of the month...with THREE first-round matches on ROH TV - Miranda Alize vs. Alex Gracia, Mazzerati vs. Nicole Savoy, and Sumie Sakai vs. Rok-C. Major League Wrestling's Battle Riot III event will be broadcast Saturday night starting at 10PM Eastern on BeIN Sports and MLW's YouTube. That's JUST Pro Wrestling News for Saturday, July 24.
