Aliyah reversed Natalya's Sharpshooter into a rollup to get the pin. Naomi had a hand in the finish. That apparently upset Sonya Deville, because moments later backstage, Deville informed Aliyah that she's off the SmackDown women's team at Survivor Series...and there's no replacement named for that spot either. King Woods got a win over Universal Champion Roman Reigns via disqualification after The Usos interfered. This was a non-title match...BUT it was stated before the match that the loser must “bend the knee” to the winner, and if Reigns did not adhere to this..he would be stripped of his title and banished from SmackDown. Reigns was on one knee after the match after The Usos beat up Woods, so I guess he technically delivered on the stipulation. Also last night, Los Lotharios beat the Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura & Rick Boogs. And NXT's Von Wagner appeared backstage during SmackDown...apparently as backup for Adam Pearce. WWE responded to Keith Lee stating earlier this week that he paid for his own medical bills and expenses. Superstition is a southwestern gothic mystery audio drama about a private eye, a bartender, a cop, a missing girl, an old mystery and one very spooky town in Arizona.I can remember gearing up for the release of this show and how excited I was. The premise alone had me totally hooked. And that killer logo. The music for the show sets the scene so well. With each episode you’re completely enveloped by the atmosphere. It's an alternate 2016, and Watchtower 10 sits in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, keeping lonely watch over the Transcontinental Bridge. Each watchtower sits hundreds of feet away from the Bridge, broadcasting regular traffic reports to ensure that proper safety precautions are taken. These lighthouses (for cars) are filled with a carefully selected (and very capable) crew.Watchtower 10's necessary personnel happen to be: a generalist DJ who spends her free time relaying folklore from abandoned parts of the Bridge, her supervisor (who's only there because he lost a bet), an unfailingly optimistic Bridge Travel Agent, and a groundskeeper who has a thing for romantic comedies. Unbeknownst to the general public (but totally knownst to each watchtower's crew), these stations also hold a secret that could potentially destroy the world...or save it.The Bridge is a fictional serialized fantasy podcast about the monsters we fear, the monsters we can become, and the stories we leave behind.I can’t remember how I stumbled upon this amazing show, but as soon as I read the premise, I was already hooked. And then once I started listening I was even more drawn in by the interesting characters, the explored history and mythology of the world, as well as its complete unpredictability. Slumberland invites your ears to visit Slumberland, a small island town in the US. Come along with Thomas Edward M, the freelance soundman. He's been hired to meet the locals and record their oral histories for the town's time capsule. The unfolding history of the town mixes folklore, paranormal, mystery and humor.I had this podcast recommended to me a couple years ago and was delighted to find a lot to catch up on. It was the first show I listened to that had episodes on the shorter side and it did take me a little getting used. I marathoned it pretty quickly and now I avidly await each new episode and know it’s always going to be a delight. The creator does a great job of creating a whole unique world with this island and its strange and unusual characters, as well as taking listeners back into the past and how things came to be.
