In this episode of All Rise, Abdu Murray and Derek Caldwell sit down with Scott Symington to discuss one of the strangest and most culturally explosive topics of our time: UFOs, aliens, and the growing belief that disclosure could challenge Christianity itself. Are UFOs evidence of extraterrestrial life? Do aliens undermine the Bible? And what should Christians make of the increasing number of reports surrounding unexplained aerial phenomena? The conversation explores the scientific probability of intelligent alien life, the physical challenges of interstellar travel, the history of UFO encounters, and why some researchers have begun considering an interdimensional—not extraterrestrial—explanation for the phenomenon. In this episode of All Rise, Abdu Murray and Derek Caldwell sit down with Dr. Carrie Gress to discuss one of the most influential—and controversial—forces in modern culture: feminism. Drawing from her book Something Wicked: Why Feminism Can't Be Fused with Christianity, Carrie explores the historical roots of feminism, its vision of men and women, and why she believes its promises have ultimately left many people more isolated, confused, and unhappy. The conversation also touches on motherhood, the sexual revolution, identity, the surprising relationship between feminism and the occult, and why Christianity historically offered a radically different vision for women. Carrie Gress, Ph.D., is a scholar at the Institute for Human Ecology at Catholic University of America. She is the founder and editor at the online women's magazine TheologyofHome.com and the author of ten books, including the Theology of Home series, The Anti-Mary Exposed, and The End of Woman: How Smashing the Patriarchy Has Destroyed Us. In this episode of All Rise with Abdu Murray, Abdu takes live questions from students at Laurentian University in Sudbury, ON, Canada—and nothing is off the table. From artificial intelligence and transhumanism to suffering, free will, and faith, students wrestle honestly with some of the most challenging questions facing Christianity today. Why does human suffering feel so unfair? Does belief in miracles require abandoning reason? How can Jesus' death 2,000 years ago possibly matter now? Abdu also addresses difficult and often controversial topics—including polygamy in the Bible, LGBTQ inclusion, the uniqueness of Jesus among world religions, and whether evil and tragedy undermine belief in God. Along the way, we explore how faith, reason, and lived experience intersect in a world shaped by technology, doubt, and deep moral questions. As a former insider in the anti-disinformation world, Sabrina shares her journey from activist to critic—and why the narrative she once defended eventually stopped adding up. A former Muslim, Abdu Murray, talks with Wayne Shepherd about his conversion to Christianity and the importance of the bodily resurrection of Christ. (click for more...)Website: www.embracethetruth.orgYouTube: www.youtube.com/@AbduMurrayOfficialBackground & Early Life as a Muslim ApologistAbdu Murray grew up in a devout Shiite Muslim home in the metro Detroit area. Far from being a nominal believer, he took his faith seriously and actively challenged Christians and people of other faiths, pressing them to articulate why they believed what they did. He found that most Christians he encountered couldn't explain their faith beyond tradition or habit, and he used this to try to draw them toward Islam.A Turning Point in the BibleIronically, while attempting to find contradictions in the Bible to use against two Baptist men who kept visiting his apartment, Abdu stumbled upon John the Baptist's words in Luke 3 — warning people not to rely on tradition or lineage for salvation. The passage struck him because it echoed the very argument he had been making to Christians, and it forced him to ask himself the same question: why did he believe what he believed?Nine Years of SearchingThat encounter launched a years-long intellectual and spiritual journey. It took Abdu two years of studying the historical, philosophical, and theological foundations of various worldviews to reach the intellectual conclusion that Christianity was true. However, he wrestled with actually accepting that conclusion for seven more years, held back by the personal, cultural, and familial cost of leaving Islam — as well as the deep identity he had wrapped up in being Muslim. The Resurrection as the Pivotal IssueThe bodily resurrection of Jesus became the crux of his investigation. The Quran explicitly denies the crucifixion and resurrection, making it a direct point of collision between Islam and Christianity. Abdu researched the historical evidence extensively — including the accounts of eyewitnesses, early church figures like Polycarp and Clement of Rome, and the conversion of the skeptic Paul — and found the case increasingly compelling and uncomfortable to deny.Legal Training and Coming to FaithHis legal education proved formative in evaluating the evidence, teaching him to assess argumentation and distinguish credible evidence from superficially convincing claims. He became a Christian shortly after finishing law school, concluding that the eyewitness testimony in the New Testament would stand up to scrutiny in a court of law.Advice on Apologetics and FaithAbdu now runs a ministry called Embrace the Truth and encourages Christians to ask themselves daily why they believe. He argues that apologetics isn't just academic debate, but a tool for deepening one's own discipleship — likening it to a trained musician who experiences a symphony far more richly than a casual listener. He closes with the conviction that because of what Christ has done in history, believers can trust what God will do in their lives.Send your support for FIRST PERSON to the Far East Broadcasting Company:FEBC National Processing Center Far East Broadcasting CompanyP.O. In this episode of All Rise, Abdu Murray and Derek Caldwell respond to viewer questions about miracles and free will. First, why don't we seem to see miracles today the way we do in the Bible—and is modern skepticism really as rational as it claims? Then we turn to another perennial question: do human beings truly have free will, or are our choices determined? Learn about Abdu's urgent new book, Fake ID: How AI and Identity Ideology Are Collapsing Reality—And What to Do About It (David C Cook, 2026) at https://realitycollapsebook.com/.
Together, Stéphanie Rousselle and Abdu Murray explore some of today's most pressing concerns surrounding identity, truth, and technology—offering a Christian worldview on navigating these cultural shifts. At the heart of this conversation are two concepts Abdu Murray terms “bioclasm” and “AI mania”:Bioclasm is a cultural movement that, much like the "iconoclast," seeks to smash the traditional pillars of biological identity—such as gender and humanity itself—and reconstruct reality based on feelings and preferences, rather than facts. It is rooted in a post-truth culture, where personal feelings often outweigh objective truth.AI Mania refers to the society-wide rush to embrace artificial intelligence and technology without critical thought. Abdu Murray is careful to distinguish healthy technological use from unchecked enthusiasm, warning that overreliance on AI can blur boundaries between machine and human, making us question what it means to be truly human.Together, these movements lead to a "collapse of reality," where personal perception threatens to override the givenness of biological and moral truths.Navigating the tsunamis of bioclasm and AI mania requires discernment, compassion, and a return to the ultimate source of truth. The Christian hope is not in technological transcendence or personal autonomy, but in the God who creates, redeems, and sustains our true identity.Abdu Murray explains transhumanism as the ambition to overcome human limitations (including death) by merging with machines or uploading consciousness to digital forms. While proponents of this vision believe it offers hope for immortality, Abdu Murray points out its weaknesses—especially that all physical systems eventually succumb to entropy, or decay, and that technological "immortality" is a myth. True creativity, meaning, and relationship cannot be distilled into data or algorithms.Underneath the drive for identity autonomy (being your own authority) and technological transcendence is a deep longing for meaning, stability, and transcendence—what the Bible describes as being made in the image of God. The Christian faith urges us to find our core identity not in fleeting markers or technological advancements, but in relationship with our Creator.Abdu Murray draws parallels between today's quests for sovereignty and the biblical stories of Eden and Babel: humanity's attempts to become ‘like God' on their own terms have always resulted in loss, not gain. The hope, he says, lies in returning to the thick, robust understanding of what it is to be human: a living soul, created and loved by God.So, how can we engage culture with both conviction and compassion? Abdu challenges believers to answer each person, not just their arguments, and to see every conversation as an opportunity to remind others (and ourselves) of our true worth and purpose—anchored in God, the unchanging source of truth and identity.MORE ABOUT ABDU MURRAYAbdu Murray speaks internationally about the intersection of Christian faith and the questions of culture. He is the author of several books, including Saving Truth, Grand Central Question, and More Than a White Man's Religion. For most of his life, Abdu was a proud Muslim until a nine-year historical, theological, and scientific investigation pointed him to the Christian faith. Abdu lives in the Metro Detroit area with his wife, Nicole, and their three children.MORE ABOUT “FAKE ID”This groundbreaking exposé of how artificial intelligence and gender ideology undermine our view of reality helps us cut through the chaos and find the hope we're looking for.We hear that technology will set us free and that identity is whatever we choose. In this episode of All Rise, Abdu Murray and Derek Caldwell confront one of the most difficult questions about hell: is it fair? If we didn't ask to be born—and if we enter a fallen world where sin is inevitable—how can eternal judgment be just? Rather than repeating familiar answers, we examine the tension between biblical texts that seem to support everything from "double predestination" to "universalism" and everything in between to help make sense of the biblical portrayal of hope.

In this episode of All Rise, Abdu Murray and Derek Caldwell tackle two deeply personal and often misunderstood questions about the Christian life. First, what is the true relationship between law and grace—are they opposed to one another, or do they work together in a way many Christians miss? Second, how should we understand negative emotions that make us doubt God's promises—especially when our feelings seem louder than our faith?
We are living through a crisis of clarity. In the name of empathy, we have untethered compassion from truth, traded moral courage for slogans, and reduced identity to something endlessly self-constructed. The result is not freedom, but confusion, where words lose meaning, conviction is treated as cruelty, and the church often responds with language that sounds kind but forms no one. This week on Win Today, apologist and author Abdu Murray joins me for a sober, unflinching conversation about self-creation, gender ideology, and the liabilities of a post-truth culture. We examine how empathy becomes destructive when it is severed from reality, why identity collapses when it is built on feelings alone, and how the church's reliance on syrupy slogans leaves believers ill-equipped to engage the moment with wisdom and courage. This isn't reactionary, it's diagnostic. If you sense the ground shifting beneath basic definitions of personhood, truth, and meaning, this episode offers clarity without cruelty and conviction without caricature. Guest Bio Abdu Murray is an author, speaker, and apologist who explores the intellectual credibility of the Christian faith in a post-truth world. With a background in law and years of experience engaging questions of identity, meaning, and worldview, Abdu is widely respected for his clarity, charity, and ability to address complex cultural issues with reasoned conviction. In a world overwhelmed by self-definition and shifting truths, this message with Abdu Murray exposes the deep identity confusion plaguing our culture, and how the gospel answers it. Drawing from his background in law and apologetics, Abdu reveals how today's identity crisis stems not from a lack of options, but from too many counterfeit paths that fail to satisfy our longing to belong. Whether it's gender, race, political affiliation, or past wounds, we often construct identities that are fragile, temporary, and ultimately self-defeating. But the gospel invites us into a stable, unchanging identity rooted not in what we feel or what we've done, but in who Jesus is and what He's done for us. This conversation invites listeners to trade the exhausting pursuit of self-made significance for the liberating truth of being known, loved, and named by God.

In this episode of All Rise, Abdu Murray and Derek Caldwell respond to one of the most painful and emotionally charged questions we've received from viewers: "Why do people die young?" This question isn't theoretical. It's asked in hospital rooms, at gravesides, and in the grieving moments after sudden loss. It presses directly on the goodness of God, the reality of suffering, and whether faith can survive tragedy. In today's episode, we explore: Why the early death of young people strikes us as uniquely unjust Whether God's goodness is compatible with allowing such loss What Christianity does—and does not—claim about suffering and divine intervention Why some common answers, even well-meaning ones, often make the problem worse rather than better Rather than offering clichés or quick fixes, we slow down and take the question seriously—philosophically, theologically, and humanly—because some questions deserve more than platitudes.
