It's been TOO long since we talked about Star Wars so we thought we were ready to finally talk about the oft dreaded prequels! So here we are with The Phantom Menace! From 1999, we remember the world being crazy excited for these movies. Coming off the heels of the Stars Wars Episodes IV-VI re release in 1997, we had high hopes for these but let's just say George Lucas went a little bit overboard with the CGI, leaving many to claim, where was the Star Wars universe we knew and loved? Well with tons of time gone by (23 years, jesus christ!), we've learned this movie ain't half bad! Sure, Jar Jar has got to GO, the plot is sort of a snoooooze (trade federation, blockade, waaaaat?!), and little Annakin is cheeseball city, but we enjoyed ourselves! Ya got crazy siths, evil double red light sabers, and Queen Amidala's crazy do's. What's not to love?
So...Obi-Wan faces Annakin, for the last time

We've waited five long years for May the Fourth to land on a Monday and we're not wasting it! Actually, five years ago I don't think this show batted a lightsaber at the notion, but this time we've got the Star Wars songs you and the public love and want to hear!It may be a little telling that two out of three songs are about Baby Yoda and one is a classic about the original trilogy. Sorry Rey, Finn and young Annakin. 1. "Baby Yoda" by Beth Kinderman 2. "Small Round Yoda" by the great Luke Ski 3. News of the Stupid! 4. "Star Wars Cantina" by Mark Jonathan Davis Beth Kinderman is at BethKinderman.com, The great Luke Ski is at thegreatLukeSki.com, and Mark Jonathan Davis is at markjonathandavis.com Thank you to our Patreon backers for helping make this show possible!
Just like Revenge of the Sith is the best part of the Prequels, Part two of our cast is the best part of... our cast! Lightsaber forms, Padme being Padme, and Annakin going nuts... relive the best part of your childhood if you were a child, or if you were older... you probably have some mixed feelings on the prequels. Let us know how you feel about them. Love you knights.
