And just like that the first World Championship is wrapped up! Marc Marquez clinched his 9th World Championship at the Japanese GP over the weekend. Marc placed second in both the Sprint and the GP to none pother than a resurgent Pecco! The Moto3 race was neutered a little bit by a weird but brief sigh rain that spooked championship leader Rueda early on in the race. This let Munoz to take a commanding lead that he held until the end of the race. Rueda now has a chance to wrap up the tile at the next round. In Moto2 saw an on form Jake Dixion and Gonzalez qualify well. In the Race they both dropped back and rookie Holgado romped to other victory. Gonzalez was fast but too aggressive during a pass attempt on Vietti. Veitti went down and Gonzalez went to the long lap penalty loop. The guys also cover the new and go deep into things said by Michael Laverty. A Motegi la consacrazione di Marc Marquez dopo cinque anni di calvario, e Ducati festeggia anche con Bagnaia vincente. Alex indietro, Honda sul podio con Mir e Aprilia quarta col Bez. Ancora out Martin (clavicola). RUNDOWN (352) is Gainesville, Florida — home of the University of Florida. They reflect on Petty's legendary catalog, from “American Girl” to “Free Fallin',” his Beatles-inspired path to music, and his legacy in Gators football culture. Mitch and Hotshot recap the Seahawks' nail-biting win in Glendale, where a late Jason Meyers field goal sealed the victory to move Seattle to 3–1. They turn to the Huskies' tough loss against Ohio State, noting costly penalties and red-zone failures that made the final score more lopsided than the game felt. The Mariners closed the regular season with a sweep at the hands of the Dodgers but secured the No. 2 seed at 90–72. Joe Doyle and Brady Farkas join Mitch to debate whether the late skid matters, the state of the bullpen (Bazardo vs. Brash in high-leverage spots, Munoz's control issues), and the playoff rotation order. They also spar over Cal Raleigh's MVP case against Aaron Judge and whether Seattle should prefer Cleveland or Detroit in the ALDS. The Seahawks dominated for three quarters in Arizona before letting the Cardinals storm back with 17 unanswered points, needing Jason Myers' last-second field goal to escape with a win. The No-Table crew weighs Sam Darnold's poise, Mike Macdonald's conservative late-game decisions, the defense's lapses, and the ongoing questions with the run game and offensive line. Mitch welcomes CBS Sports' Rick Neuheisel, presented by Taco Time Northwest, for his weekly whip-around of the college football world. They break down Washington's missed opportunities against Ohio State, Alabama's statement win at Georgia, and why depth in the trenches separates contenders from pretenders. Rick also weighs in on Penn State's playoff chances, Miami–Florida State as a marquee matchup, and hands out his Chicken Caesar Taco awards before making his Week 6 pick. Wyman & Bob are joined by Ryan Rowland-Smith to talk about the Mariners series sweep over the Astros and what it means for the Mariners postseason push. He also talks about the pivotal role the bullpen has played in the Mariners success. Ryan breaks down the amount of energy that Victor Robles brings to this team. // The guys go through Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonad’s interview this morning and give their opinion on how he broke down the Seahawks win over the Saints. // Wyman & Bob go through the Mariners starting rotation and how impressive they were in the Astros series. They only gave up one run over 17 innings. The bullpen played their part with Munoz and Bazardo both pitching three games in a row.
Fed Chairman Jerome Powell's recent comments on the labor market, asset values, and risks have sparked a reaction in the markets. Alonso Munoz believes Powell's tone was "a little bit dovish" and that the Fed is likely to prioritize the health and strength of the labor market. Munoz sees room for the market to run despite Powell's valuation concerns and expects a potential rate cut in October. Munoz recommends a cautious approach, focusing on sectors like technology, particularly AI-driven names like Nvidia (NVDA), Oracle (ORCL), and Tesla (TSLA), which he believes are still in the early innings of their growth cycles.======== Schwab Network ========Empowering every investor and trader, every market day.Options involve risks and are not suitable for all investors. Jamie Munoz, founder of Catalyst Integrators, shares how the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) helped her scale a printing business from $2 million to $15 million in revenue and how it can work for video business owners of any size. She breaks down why so many entrepreneurs get trapped in the operator seat doing work that drains their soul, and provides a clear roadmap for getting out of operations and into the visionary role. Jamie also shares practical advice on hiring virtual assistants and the mindset shifts needed to stop being the bottleneck in your own business. Key Takeaways Core values are your hiring and firing framework - When employees don't align with your company's core values (like being "hungry"), you have a clear framework for making personnel decisions rather than relying on gut feelings The accountability chart shows your scaling path - Instead of traditional org charts, EOS uses accountability charts that show people in multiple seats, making it clear where to hire next as the business grows Start with 20% time savings - Hire help for just 20% of your weekly tasks (about 8 hours) to free up a full day for revenue-generating activities that can pay for the help and then some Perfect is the enemy of profitable - Learning to let go of "10 out of 10" creative standards and accepting that "7 or 8 out of 10" often exceeds client expectations while maintaining profitability About Jamie Munoz Jamie Munoz is a rescue dog mom, who lives in Cave Creek, Arizona. The Catalan Gp is covered on this episode. With usually dull racing Jim and Rich jim and rich focused more on the news of the week. The announcement was that Gunther Steiner of drive to survive F1 fame is now a MotoGP own having bought the Tech3 team. Out on track the Moto3 race only became interesting in the last 5 laps. Jim was happy that for the first time in a long long time the riders kept out of the pit lane exit while riding 5 wide on the front straight. Piqueras took the win but despite a long lap penalty Rueda finished second and still has a commanding lead in the championship. In Moto2 Holgado lead every lap to take his first Moto2 win. The best par of the race was Munoz's pass of Dixion going into turn one. I was a masterful outside to inside maneuver but sadly Dixion was able to get back by in the late stages of the race. In MotoGP Marquez won, no not Marc, but Alex. Alex was unbeatable by anyone but himself as he crashed out of a comfortable win in the Sprint and handed the win to his brother. On Sunday he was unbeatable taking a commanding win after an early dice with Marc. For the Glory KC is back with the 144th episode of the show!Sporting Kansas City broke a nearly two-month winless streak on Saturday night against the Colorado Rapids. The streak went back to their last win, also against the Rapids, on July 4th in Commerce City. And while "winless" is technically right, it was worse than that. Between victories over Colorado, Sporting KC were 0-5-1, with just a single draw against NYCFC.The defense was still flawed, and defense often starts further up the field, so there is blame to go around. Colorado should have scored far more than the two goals they put in, if not for outstanding individual efforts from John Pulskamp, Robert Voloder and Ian James. But it was something else that stood out on Saturday. With Manu Garcia still unavailable due to injury, Kerry Zavagnin finally used Santiago Munoz as a straight up #10. You could call it a second striker, but he was floating all over creating opportunities. He was involved in so many attacking sequences and seemed to unlock Sporting KC's creativity. Not every sequence ended with a shot, but there was so much promise.Another move I've been asking for is not starting all three strikers together. It leaves no impact subs on the bench to play forward. With Mason Toye starting on the bench, it was a combination of him subbing on and Santi unlocking the midfield that led to the game winning goal. Munoz played a perfect ball to Toye to finished with precision to push SKC over the line for their seventh win of the season.Of course, Sheena and I talked about a lot more Sporting KC happenings in this episode, including:Our favorite goal of the night (there were so many good candidates)Pulskamp heroicsThat James save off the line!Daniel Salloi showing man strengthInternational callups and so much moreThe KC Current did what we basically expect them to do at this point. Just keep winning. They've won twice since our last podcast and clinched a playoff spot. They aren't that far away from locking up the NWSL Shield. But ultimately, the season will be defined by what they do in the playoffs. Before we get there though, we talk through the victories over the Portland Thorns and North Carolina Courage. In the Digital Crawl, we hit on a few more topics, including:St. Louis fire their Sporting DirectorBarbra Banda done for the yearThe USWNT game at CPKC StadiumHere is a rundown of topics and start times:Sporting KC's big comeback victory - 8:22SKC make moves and Intl. Episode 79 This episode covers some very hard topics. With my guests, Clinton and Charity Munoz, we talked about restoring marriages to wholeness after pornography addiction and sexual betrayal and brokenness. But in spite of the difficulty of the topic, what we found is that we can both laugh and cry together because God is with us in it all. The three of us have personally experienced God turn our painful story into purpose and that is worthy of joy and hope. It's a story worth telling! What Clinton and Charity share is that people in broken and hurting marriages need: honesty and vulnerability and then stories of hope and healing. And they do an incredible job with that. From well-meaning but harmful advice that didn't do a thing for healing Clinton's addiction, to Charity finally reaching her limit and giving him a hard boundary that he would have to get help healing or leave, they walk us through it all. And Clinton shares that Charity's boundary was the greatest gift he'd ever been given. Sometimes the most loving thing we can do is call someone out on their sin. Just like the prophet Nathan with King David. Ultimately, they decided to pursue healing separately and together and eventually they created their organization, Restored to More, to bring couples like them together. Restored to More is unique, so powerful and filled with hope! I love the work they're doing. Lastly, if you are thinking, “this episode isn't for me because this isn't my story,” please listen to this podcast. Clinton shares the most beautiful example of a friend who educated herself on this topic in order to be more informed and available to her friend walking through this valley. May we all follow her example because there will be a day when we need to be that kind of friend!
