Segun Lawson, President and CEO of Thor Explorations (TSX.V: THX) (AIM: THX) (OTC: THXPF), joins me to review the optionality that being debt free with large margins from gold production is providing.  This is allowing the Company to increase exploration initiatives around the Segilola Mine, in Nigeria, as well as exploration activities at the Douta Gold Project, in Senegal.  We also discuss the ramp of exploration over at the Guitry Gold Project and exploration portfolio in Cote D'Ivoire.   Segun reiterated the 2025 guidance at the Segilola Mine is still on track for 85,000 – 95,000 ounces of gold production this year.  The Company anticipates very nice margins at the current $3,000 gold prices and a projected full year 2025 All-in Sustaining Cost (“AISC”) guidance of $900 to $1,000 per ounce.  We also reiterated the key company milestone in Q4 of the final and full repayment of the senior debt facility with Africa Finance Corporation (“AFC”). The Company now has no senior debt and has a net cash position in 2025.   The exploration team is busy with ongoing drilling around the Segilola mine, both at depth under the existing pit and also at surface delineating potential satellite pits to extend the mine life.  Any resource expansion will be very accretive as there will be no more material capex as the sunk costs have already been paid for, so this remains a key focus of the Company.   Transitioning over to the Douta Project, the RC drilling program last year was focused on increasing the percentage of oxide resources at the Makosa East Prospect, which runs parallel to the main Makosa mineralized trend and is ongoing. Then on March 24th, a press released announced that two discovery holes in its Douta-West license, at the Baraka 3 Prospect, returned 19 meters (m) at 2.46g/t Au from 29m depth, and 26m at 1.31 g/t Au from 21m depth.  Segun outlines that they have wanted to keep drilling this new Douta-West concession because it may be meaningful at the early part of the mining sequence, improve the payback and economics, and this will be factored into the upcoming Pre-Feasibility Study (“PFS”) and Mineral Resource Estimate, as the next major milestone for the company later this year.   Wrapping up we discussed the early stage exploration prospectivity and work planned later this year at their 100% interest in the Guitry Gold Project in Cote D'Ivoire. We discuss further drill results from the ongoing 2024 exploration program at the Douta Gold Project, in Senegal, as it builds towards a PFS.  We also discuss the recent acquisition of the Guitry Gold Project and exploration portfolio in Cote D'Ivoire.   Segun outlined that the gold poured at the Segilola Mine for the full year of 2024 totaled 85,057 ounces ("oz"), which met guidance, and the 2025 guidance is for 85,000 – 95,000 ounces of gold production. Full year 2025 All-in Sustaining Cost ("AISC") guidance has been set in a range of $800 to $1,000 / oz, providing solid margins at current gold prices. We also noted the key company milestone in Q4 of the final and full repayment of the senior debt facility with Africa Finance Corporation ("AFC"). The Company now has no senior debt and has a net cash position moving into 2025. The Company is exploring offering a return to shareholders via a dividend later this year.    Q4 Highlights:   24,662 oz poured during the fourth quarter 2024 Gold sales in Q4 2024 of 24,936 oz at an average realized price of US$2,497 resulting in unaudited revenue of approximately $62 million Gold produced from 247,075 tonnes ("t") milled at an average grade of 3.08 grammes per tonne ("g/t") of gold ("Au") Mine production of 383,699 t at an average grade of 2.30g/t of Au for 28,411oz   We reviewed that the priority of the Company's exploration strategy at Segilola is extending the mine life through delineation of potential additional underground resources, as well as additional geochemical sampling continued at near mine open pit targets. After the 12-hole proof-of-concept deeper drilling program in 2024 was successful, the next phased of Segilola underground drilling will consist of 7,500 meters of drilling commencing imminently.   Transitioning over to the Douta Project, the RC drilling program was focused last year on increasing the percentage of oxide resources at the Makosa East Prospect, which runs parallel to the main Makosa mineralised trend and is ongoing. Additional infill drilling was completed at the Makosa North, Mansa and Maka prospects. Remaining Pre-Feasibility Study (“PFS”) and Mineral Resource Estimate update workstreams are being completed, with a target completion in Q1 2025, as a major milestone for the company this year.   Wrapping up we discussed the signing of a binding agreement last year with Endeavour Mining Corporation to acquire a 100% interest in the Guitry Gold Project in Cote D'Ivoire. Improved controlled blasting practices are now in place to avoid a recurrence. Mill feed grade was 3.22 grammes per tonne ("g/t") gold with recovery at 88.5%. The lower recovery was due to a delayed change in mill liner during the period. The stockpile balance increased by 13% to 1,329,007t of ore at an average grade of 0.94g/t as this was mined during shortfalls resulting from events that occurred during the Quarter.   Q3 2024 Financial Highlights   18,167 ounces ("oz") of gold sold with an average gold price of US$2,328 per oz. Cash operating cost of US$585 per oz sold and all-in sustaining cost ("AISC") of US$766 per oz sold. Revenue of US$40.2 million (Q3 2023: US$36.6 million). EBITDA of US$27.4 million (Q3 2023: US$10.5 million). Net profit of US$17.5 million (Q3 2023: US$0.9 million). Senior debt facility reduced to US$3.9 million as at September 30, 2024. This debt is scheduled to be fully repaid by the end of Q4 2024 Transitioned from a net debt position of US$2.7 million as at June 30, 2024 to a net cash position of US$2.7 million as at September 30, 2024.   We reviewed that the priority of the Company's exploration strategy at Segilola is extending the mine life through delineation of potential additional underground resources, as well as additional geochemical sampling continued at near mine open pit targets. An initial 12-hole drilling program continued during the period with initial positive drill results received from the first two holes of 3.0 m grading 11.24g/t Au from 294m and 1.5m grading 3.22g/t Au from 269m.   Transitioning over to the Douta Project, the RC drilling program was focussed on increasing the percentage of oxide resources at the Makosa East Prospect, which runs parallel to the main Makosa mineralised trend and is additional to the current mineral resource. Additional infill drilling was completed at the Makosa North, Mansa and Maka prospects. Remaining Pre-Feasibility Study ("PFS") and Mineral Resource Estimate update workstreams are being completed, with a target completion in Q4 2024.   Wrapping up we discussed the signing of a binding agreement with Endeavour Mining Corporation to acquire a 100% interest in the Guitry Gold Project for US$100,000 in cash and a 2% Net Smelter Royalty. Cash operating cost of US$585 per oz sold and all-in sustaining cost ("AISC") of US$802 per oz sold. Q2 2024 revenue of US$53.8 million (Q2 2023: US$41.3 million) and H1 2024 of US$87.1 million (H1 2023: US$81.7 million). Q2 2024 EBITDA of US$37.6 million (Q2 2023: US$25.6 million) and H1 2024 of US$60.9 million (H1 2023: US$40.3 million). Q2 2024 net profit of US$27.5 million (Q2 2023: US$14.4 million) and H1 2024 of US$39.9 million (H1 2023: US$17.4 million). The Company paid a further US$7.9 million towards its senior debt facility, leaving a balance of US$6.5 million which is scheduled to be fully repaid by the end of the calendar year, with net debt of US$2.7 million as at June 30, 2024.   Operational Highlights for Q2 2024 and H1 2024 At Segilola: This Period saw the completion and commissioning of the plant upgrade and the beginning of the drawdown of the gold in circuit. Gold Poured for the Period totaled 21,742 oz (H1 2024: 40,285 oz), with a mill feed grade that was 3.42 g/tAu with recovery at 94.6%. This Period saw the highest recovery rate and highest number of ounces poured by the Company in its last five quarters. The stockpile balance increased by 37% to 1,179,693 tonnes of ore at an average grade of 1.01g/t. The significant stockpile available offers flexibility and low risk for future process plant production.   Segilola Exploration The focus was on near mine exploration and the delineation of potential additional underground resources at Segilola. Structural studies which commenced in Q1 2024 were completed in the Period and interpreted to assist the drilling programs. A 12,000 metre ("m") drilling program targeting the possible extension of the gold mineralization underneath the designed open pit commenced late in the Period. The Company's exploration activities carried out in Q2 2024 were a continuation of both geochemical target generations and drilling those targets that justify follow up testing. Regional stream sediment and soil/auger sampling programmes continued with the objective of generating drilling targets.   Next Segun and I shifted over to the Dout Project, and he highlighted the acquisition of the Douta-West License in Q2 2024, and that the company has been drilling and releasing results from these new concessions, with the plan to combine both licenses and scale up the size of a combined Douta Project for the Douta Project Resource update in Q4 2024 and the Douta Preliminary Feasibility Study ("PFS") in 2025.
