Sister Jean woke up Monday morning, went through her email, greeted some students, did some media, then sat down and talked to us for AN HOUR. She lead lead us in prayer. She explained what a chaplain is to her. We attempted to get piece of her life story, of which included her having a pet monkey named Jerry. We got the story of how she became the LUC Men's Basketball Team Chaplain. We asked her about her longtime co-worker and friend Dr. Tom Hitcho. Buck and Lu talk about a 1-1 week that was in flux due to Covid cases within the Drake program. Our matchup with the Sycamores was put together with less than 48 hours until game time. In the first matchup, we begged for the lineup of Tom and Cam. We didn't get it, and the Blers lost. In game 2, we got the lineup and the Blers were victorious. Coincidence? I think not.
