This week on the show the Locked & Loaded Latinos discuss Parkland massacre survivor Anthony Borges' effort opposing the reelection of disgraced former Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel, the rising civil unrest throughout the country including confrontations between militias in Louisville, the Chinese diplomatic detente with the United States, and we end the show with 3rd Amendment in Spanish.
Join Jim and Greg as they serve up three new martinis Thursday! First, they applaud the Florida State Senate for permanently removing former Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel after his horrific leadership before, during, and after the Parkland high school shooting. They also shudder as a majority of Americans favor rewriting the first amendment and nearly half want to ban hate speech without ever defining what it is. And they discuss the high drama on Capitol Hill as Democrats conduct impeachment-related depositions in secret and Republicans hold a sit-in to protest what they see as a lack of transparency.
A new poll finds Florida voters are evenly split on the impeachment inquiry of President Donald Trump. Journalists John Kennedy and Zac Anderson discuss the latest impeachment news out of Florida and some early action in the Legislature, including an abortion bill and a vote to oust Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel.
President Donald Trump is facing impeachment over his dealings with Ukraine and now Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has his own Ukrainian problem. Journalists John Kennedy and Zac Anderson discuss a controversial donation DeSantis received from two Soviet-born men who have been helping Rudy Giuliani dig up dirt on the Biden family in Ukraine, the Florida GOP's renewed focus on climate change after a "lost decade" and the upcoming Florida Senate trial for former Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel.
Ep. 87b (Show Aired March 3rd, 2018) YouTube Bans Us for Telling Truth About Sheriff Scott Israel & His Parkland Failures. In the aftermath of the shooting at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland Florida, we exposed the past corruption of Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel before anyone else. What did we get for it? Youtube banned the video and gave us a strike. Three weeks later when Sheriff Israel's corruption could be kept from the public no more, some of the very things we initially exposed and got banned for, found its way into the national media. What's the lesson? Telling the truth before the truth is acceptable...is unacceptable. Thank you to everyone who has supported the show via Paypal, Patreon, and in a variety of other ways. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis fired Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel—who served as the 16th sheriff of that county—on January 11, 2019. Many would argue that his firing was long overdue. His agency was derided for failing to take control over a shooting at the Fort Lauderdale airport in 2017. Then, in 2018, deputies with the agency failed miserably in their response to the mass murder taking place at the Stoneman Douglas High School. In April 2018, the Broward Sheriff's Office Deputies Association opened a no-confidence vote—it tallied 534–94 against Israel. In this podcast segment, Jim and Doug discuss Israel's dismissal, and what it means for law enforcement leaders nationwide.
Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America applaud new Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for suspending Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel and naming two stellar judges to the Florida Supreme Court. They also discuss Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard joining the 2020 presidential race and how her defense of Syria's Bashar al-Assad could impact the campaign. And as many breathlessly await the Mueller report on Russian meddling in the 2016 campaign, ABC's Jonathan Karl reports that the report will likely be anti-climactic.

Jim Geraghty of National Review and Greg Corombos of Radio America applaud conservative columnist Mona Charen for speaking the hard truth that too many on the right are willing to look the other way on President Trump's personal behavior - and even the Roy Moore story - in an effort to achieve political goals. They also rip Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel for looking at the litany of mistakes and missed opportunities for authorities to stop the Stoneman Douglas shooting and flippantly concluding, "If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, then O.J. Simpson would still be in the record books." And they shake their heads as NBC interviews Ivanka Trump at the Olympics and asks her whether she believes her father's accusers.

Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel said Sunday he would not resign in the face of criticism about his agency's response to the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting. School districts that already have armed teachers stand out as an example for what schools with “gun-free” designations can do to ensure student safety. More than a dozen restaurants have been sued over surcharges they've added to diners' bills to help cover higher labor costs related to minimum wage hikes.
