The Rich Zeoli Show- Hour 2:  World Cup Update: The United States defeated Iran 1-0 in Qatar on Tuesday and will now advance to the knockout stage of the 2022 World Cup. While speaking with Jake Tapper on CNN, Dr. Anthony Fauci stated he is “almost certain” that the National Institutes of Health (NIH) did not fund gain-of-function research that could be responsible for a Wuhan, China lab leak resulting in the spread of COVID-19. Dr. Fauci conceded that the origins of COVID-19 have not been definitively proven but emphasized that it was “molecularly impossible” for the NIH funded virus research to turn into SARS-CoV-2. Is Dr. Fauci at least now acknowledging the NIH funded gain-of-function research in Wuhan? Two-term Philadelphia City Councilmember Helen Gym has resigned from her position and is now expected to announce a run for Philadelphia Mayor. When asked whether the White House supported zero-COVID policy protesters in China, National Security Council (NSC) spokesman John Kirby stated, “the President is not going to speak for protesters around the world” but did emphasize that the administration supports peaceful protests around the world. Did Leonardo DiCaprio almost get booted from "Titanic" film for being a diva?

Chris Licht faces an uphill battle at CNN. He got the CEO gig in the midst of a prickly merger between Warner Bros. and Discovery and right after the shocking exit of beloved long-time boss, Jeff Zucker. In his first six months, he's shut down CNN+, ousted Brian Stelter, and shuffled anchors around, including Don Lemon and Jake Tapper. This week, the network chief held an internal town hall meeting where he faced a staff of thousands and discussed upcoming layoffs. Shortly afterwards, he sat down with Kara — who grilled him, of course. She asks Licht whether he has any real actual power or if he's simply executing orders from Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav — who is in search of cuts, as the company stares down the barrel at $50 billion in debt — and billionaire board member, John Malone, who has said he'd like to see more “centrist” programming from CNN. They discuss Licht's vision for the newsroom, his plan to build trust with journalists who fear losing jobs, and how CNN will cover Donald Trump during the 2024 election. Before the interview, Kara and Nayeema discuss the challenges facing journalism in an era of disinformation. Stay tuned for Kara's closing rant on “citizen journalism” and Elon's latest broadside against the press. You can find Kara and Nayeema on Twitter @karaswisher and @nayeema. Washington Post pretends to understand rural Republicans Ep_410-Hr-1

THE THESIS: The Washington Post's writers are utterly unaffected by the policies of The Left and the impotence of the Professional Republicans. As such, they have no ability to relate to rural Republicans. In North Idaho, where I live, President Trump is still the people's President--it's that different from D.C. In conservative Trump Country, I have never once met a person who describes their reasons for voting Republican the way the Washington Post scribbles. They vote Republican for one, huge reason: the GOP is less evil than the Democrats. They vote Trump because he called the evil out and largely kept his word. THE SCRIPTURE & SCRIPTURAL RESOURCES: The hardest thing for a lot of us to do when we read pieces like that is the thing that Jesus told us all of the commandments depend upon. I have to constantly pray to not give into hatred of people who are so blind. Matthew 22:36-4036 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.' 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”THE NEWS & COMMENT:Have you ever met a Republican who says these things? I haven't either, but I have met plenty of Republicans--even us “rural dirt eaters”--who watched The Party rig the game against Trump with Covid, Black Lives Matter, Inc., and Antifa and, of course, the rigging the bragged about to Time Magazine in the infamous piece. We vote Republican because of evil like this. The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 ElectionThe Washington Post pushes for censorship of Americans who stray from The Pary's narrative. Even us “rural bumpkins” know what the media does to us with message manipulation. We vote Republican because we know the Mockingbird Media must lie to get people to vote Democrat. Covid was the election and the election was Covid, we all saw what WAPO and the rest of The Party did with Covid. Now, we have Jake Tapper who--three years late--wants to talk about lockdown damage. [AUDIO] - Jake Tapper: "I have to say I'm surprised that there hasn't been a national conversation about the damage done to kids because of these school closures"Did he forget what Trump wanted?
