With the ethos of “No Future” brought forth by the Sex Pistols, hardcore punk was walking in the door with the blueprint for aural chaos. But how does one tear down society when the scene is so opposed to being a part of it?   To be viewed as “authentic to the culture” one must reject dominant infrastructure, insulating the scene from corruption of our corporate overlords.
