Ever wonder how someone can pull off a $100 million launch weekend? Sounds insane, right? Well, that's exactly what Alex Hormozi just did with his newest book, The $100 Million Money Models. And in this episode of The Happy Hustle Podcast, I break it all down, what made this launch historic, why it worked, and most importantly, what we can learn and apply in our own launch. Here's a little context: I've known Alex and Leila through Russell Brunson's Inner Circle and at Funnel Hacking Live. While I wouldn't say we're close, I've watched his rise from the sidelines, and this latest launch left me both impressed and inspired. Alex not only sold millions of books in a single weekend, but he also set a Guinness World Record for the fastest-selling nonfiction book of all time. That's no small feat.So how did he do it? A few big lessons stood out:First, Alex built massive goodwill with his community long before the launch. By consistently giving value through his previous books and free content, he primed people to trust him and want in on whatever he released next. That's a reminder for all of us: give first, sell second.Second, his live stream wasn't just a sales pitch; it was a nine-and-a-half-hour marathon of pure value. He and his team created urgency, included mystery speakers, and turned it into an event. Production quality was top-notch, and he positioned himself as a teacher, not a salesman.Third, the book launch itself was the lesson. He demonstrated his money models in real time by making the launch a meta example of what the book teaches. That kind of alignment between message and execution builds unmatched credibility.Fourth, the offer was genius. From the $6,000 “donate 200 books” bundle to the $18,000 upsell, Alex stacked so much value that buyers felt like they'd lose money if they didn't say yes. And he layered in scarcity and urgency with real deadlines—no fake extensions, no gimmicks. Finally, he gamified the whole experience. Affiliates had leaderboards, customers got share codes, and the whole thing became a status game. People weren't just buying books—they were competing, contributing, and spreading the word.Watching Alex pull this off was like a master class in monetization. But here's the real takeaway: success leaves clues. You don't need to hit $100 million to apply these lessons. Build goodwill, deliver crazy value, align your offers with your message, and create experiences worth talking about.I've got to tip my Happy Hustle hat to Alex on this one. Absolute baller move. Communication Queen | entrepreneurship, marketing, storytelling, public speaking, and podcasting
What happens when everything you thought defined you—your marriage, your career, your home—vanishes in a single day? For Whitney Joy, a sixth-generation farm girl turned adrenaline junkie, that collapse wasn't the end. It was the initiation. In this raw and radiant conversation, Whitney shares how losing it all became the portal to discovering her intuition, reclaiming her truth, and writing her debut book, The Cure for a Broken Heart. Kimberly Spencer, your unapologetically empowering host of the Communication Queens Podcast, dives deep with Whitney into the messy middle of transformation—where grief collides with manifestation, where surrender must dance with aligned action, and where vulnerability meets fierce boundaries. This isn't just a conversation about writing a book. It's about the universal story arc we're all living: facing resistance, embracing evolution, and daring to trust the unknown. Whitney's journey mirrors skydiving—terrifying before the jump, but euphoric once you surrender to the freefall. If you've ever wrestled with imposter syndrome, resisted your own visibility, or wondered whether your story matters, this episode will meet you right where you are. And spoiler: your story not only matters—it's medicine.

In this episode of the Push Pull Legs podcast, Dami and Tom Hall dive into a world of nostalgia, discussing their favourite crisps from childhood to today's high-brow flavours. The conversation gets surprisingly detailed, covering everything from classic Walkers variety packs to underrated French Fries and knick-knacks. They then pivot to a different kind of snack—the success of Alex Hormozi's world-record-breaking book launch. In this episode, I break down the incredible launch of Alex Hormozi's new book, $100M Money Models, and share the 7 key lessons every real estate professional can apply right now. While most people focused on the message (and yes, it was powerful), I paid attention to the strategy. From promoting early and consistently, to leveraging long-form webinars, to building trust through proof and community — these are the moves that made Hormozi's launch a massive success. Here's what you'll discover in this episode: Why promoting early and often is critical to creating buzz. How long-form webinars can build authority and trust. The power of proof — using stories, testimonials, and results. The role of consistent content in building audience reach. How tiered offers can increase perceived value. Subtle but powerful presentation techniques that close deals. Why giving value first creates long-term community and trust. If you're serious about leveling up your marketing, attracting more leads, and becoming the go-to authority in your market, this episode is for you.
RED SHADOWS AT SAUGATUCK Darrell Henshaw hoped he was past it all. After all, no ghosts had visited him for years. Instead, he learns his five-year-old-son, Leo has inherited his “gift.” Now, they both can see ghosts. Upon his parents' insistence, Darrell agrees to drive his young family 800 miles to celebrate his Aunt Gertrude's 80th birthday. But, once in the resort town of Saugatuck, Michigan, their participation gets derailed by the spirit of a Native teen who went missing weeks earlier. When he and Leo inquire about the girl, the locals dismiss their concerns—"Those girls run away all the time.” Still, as questions pile up and threats grow, Darrell senses they may have stumbled onto something far worse and even more evil than one missing teen. Can Darrell continue to pursue justice for the girl if it places his wife and five-year-old son in danger? TOPICS OF CONVERSATION About Red Shadows at Saugatuck and the Haunted Shores Mystery Series – Randy shares how the series grew from a single novel into four books, with this latest installment focusing on Darrell, Erin, and their young son returning to Michigan. Family, Parenting, and Leo's Gift – The story highlights family relationships and parenting dilemmas as Leo, a precocious five-year-old who also sees ghosts, propels his father into solving the mystery of a missing teen. Setting and History in Saugatuck – The novel blends a richly detailed sense of place with the legend of the ghost town of Singapore, capturing the charm, beauty, and history of the Michigan lakeshore. Social Issues and Authenticity – Randy discusses weaving in the real crisis of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW), informed by conversations with tribal elders to ensure cultural respect and accuracy. Book Launch and What's Ahead – He reflects on the warm reception at the Saugatuck launch, shares how each book in the series stands alone, and talks about possible future entries alongside other projects.
