The Wear Many Hats podcast is a hidden gem that I discovered through a friend who was interviewed for an episode. From the moment I started listening, I knew I had stumbled upon something special. The depth of the conversations on this podcast is rare to find in the world of podcast interviews. Host Rashad has a unique ability to create a comfortable and intimate space for his guests, allowing them to fully be themselves. This authenticity shines through in each episode and creates a truly engaging listening experience. It feels as if you're eavesdropping on a conversation between two friends.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the diversity of guests that Rashad brings on. He interviews people from all walks of life - from creatives to conversationalists, personalities, and talents. This variety keeps each episode fresh and interesting, as you never know what topic or perspective will be explored next. It's also worth mentioning that Rashad has a keen eye for identifying talented individuals before they "blow up". So diving into the archives can lead you to some hidden gems.
On the flip side, there are few downsides to The Wear Many Hats podcast. Sometimes the casual and conversational nature of the interviews can lead to moments of rambling or tangents that may not be everyone's cup of tea. However, this can also be seen as part of its charm, as it feels like you're just hanging out with friends having a relaxed conversation.
In conclusion, The Wear Many Hats podcast is a must-listen for anyone looking for insightful and hilarious conversations with creatives who deserve to be heard. Rashad's talent as an interviewer shines through in every episode, creating a welcoming space for his guests to share their stories authentically. It's refreshing to listen to conversations that go beyond surface-level topics and delve into deeper discussions about life, passion, and creativity. Give it a listen - you won't be disappointed!

I met Hush with friend and guest of the show, Jonathan Richetts out in the Lower East Side then crossed paths with Hush at The Hoxton with friend Bobby Whigham. Lo and behold I ended up creating music with Jonathan at their studio and in the other room I could hear Hush cook up new sounds. I was instantly hooked. Look Closely. Time Traveler. Rare Value.
