It's on Sunday, Nov. 20th at 2 pm PT – the day this episode drops. You'll have the chance to get Celeste's "hot takes" reading on your natal chart, too!   01:11 – We've made it past the eclipses (whew!), where lots of folks saw changes in relationships – some unexpected, perhaps. Celeste reviews some of the news stories since eclipse season began and correlates them to the planetary action: the attack on Nancy Pelosi's husband; the Twitter fiasco; the US election results and lack of a "red wave"; and Donald Trump's reputation following the US election.   08:38 –This week's theme is: Return to Joy! This week's three big things: First, asteroid Vesta enters Pisces. Vesta is related to the home and hearth. When transits happen to your natal Vesta, it can often be related to your home or your sister. Also, if Vesta is strongly placed, it can be related to devotion and/or to a life of service.   11:46 – Second, Sagittarius season begins on Tuesday! Jupiter rules this fire sign and is currently transiting Pisces, one of its homes. Hopefully, we'll be feeling more joy and optimism. Do you notice a lightening of your emotions this week? Sagittarius's energy is lighter than intense, deep Scorpio.   12:33 – Third, we have a beautiful New Moon in Sagittarius on Wednesday at 1 degree Sagittarius. This New Moon is conjunct fixed star Toliman, the teacher. Venus and Mercury are conjunct in this sign too. Take time to celebrate with friends and family. Time to get back into the joy of life, woo hoo!   14:09 – On Sunday, the theme is OPTIMISM. Consider the glass half full. The balsamic moon phase begins at 13 Libra at 3:07 am PT. Vesta enters Pisces at 1:17 pm PT.   15:33 – On Monday, the word of the day is COMRADERIE. It's a great day for a meeting where you will focus on future collaborations. The Moon enters Scorpio at 9:15 am PT.   16:38 – Tuesday's focus is ABUNDANCE. Share your wealth with those less fortunate. Consider a charitable donation. The Sun enters Sagittarius at 12:20 am PT.   17:40 – On Wednesday, the word is MAGNIFY. Dig into the details of important projects or contracts. Read the fine print. Jupiter stations direct 28 Pisces at 3:02 pm PT. The Moon enters Sagittarius at 12:15 pm PT. The New Moon is at 1 Sagittarius at 2:57 pm.   19:43 – On Thursday, the theme is GRATITUDE. Happy Thanksgiving!   20:42 – On Friday, the emphasis is FORGIVENESS. Forgive someone for their trespasses. The Moon enters Capricorn at 1:17 pm PT.   21:34 – On Saturday, the word is REFLECT. The Crescent Moon begins at 19 Capricorn at 9:40 pm PT.   22:41 – Thanks for listening to Celestial Insights! 4.18.21The Living Full Out Show with Nancy Solari wants to support you in times of grief. Perhaps there was a time when you lost someone close to you. Maybe you had difficulty establishing a new routine without that person and had trouble moving forward. Allowing yourself to mourn and express sadness can be a source of relief. Putting your life on pause to reflect and properly deal with pain may give you more closure down the road. Our first caller is Jean, who is having difficulty taking steps to change his occupation. Nancy shows Jean that believing in himself and saying his goals out loud can become forward momentum. Creating a network of people Jean respects in the job area he is going into can give him insight and expertise. By making a plan of exit, Jean can transition his career path at a pace that suits his needs. Our second caller is Dominic, who wants to fit in at work despite being much younger than his co-workers. Nancy instructs Dominic to ask questions and do research on what the other employees enjoy to create more camaraderie. Dominic can also rejuvenate them by bringing a youthful energy and keeping his co-workers informed about what he likes. By being curious and showing respect, Dominic can learn more about his job through the advice they provide. Our inspirational guest is Stacey Skrysak. After struggling with infertility, Stacey continued to try different options until she become pregnant with triplets. When there were complications with the pregnancy and during labor, she stayed strong and remained optimistic. After losing two of the three triplets, Stacey relied on others to assist with the grieving process. Stacey was able to turn her pain into a celebration of the time she had with her children. By cherishing the moments she spent with them, Stacey is able to move forward with her life. Our final caller is Marylynne, who wants to be less anxious about her step-children coming to visit. Nancy tells Marylynne to continue to be kind and civil to make the most out of the time. If her step-children are still distant towards her, Marylynne can take pride in the fact that she made an effort. If the meeting becomes too difficult, Marylynne can find ways to reach out to friends as support and switch the energy. When someone you care about passes away or leaves, you may feel a greater sense of loneliness. Reaching out to people who love you for support can lift some of the burden pain creates. By finding ways to remember the person you lost in a positive way, you can manage grief and live full out.

#12: Deconstructing great partnerships and teams with Don Yaeger.

My guest for this week's episode of the Ultimate Guide to Partnering is Don Yaeger, whose latest book with Chicago Cubs Catcher David “Granpa Ross” just landed at #10 on the New York Times Bestseller list. In this episode this 10-time NYT best-selling author and award winning speaker discusses the attributes of successful partnerships and teams ! As a former Associate Editor for Sports Illustrated, Don built a reputation as one of America’s most provocative thought leaders. As a speaker, he is often sought to discuss lessons on achieving greatness, and learned from experiences with some of the greatest sports legends. And he’s been invited to every major talk show – from Oprah to Nightline, from CNN to Good Morning America. Learn more about Don here. Don and I discuss the attributes of great teams and great partnerships gleaned from his book Great Teams.  Some key takeaways from the interview: A shared "purpose" at a deep level is important to the success of both great teams and great partnerships. Understanding "leadership style" and how to apply it to your partner and team's situation is important. Its equally important to understand your partners leadership style and adapting to ensure the most successful collaboration and the long term success of the partnership. "Comraderie" and a sense of "collective direction" were key to the 2013 Boston Red Sox's successful turnaround and drive to a World Series and how these attributes apply to teams and partnerships. Why "embracing change" is critical for partners looking to survive and thrive in this age of rapid digital transformation - the best teams are constantly out ahead. How David Ross changed his "mindset" to serve his team and ensure his destiny. More can be learned in Don's latest New York Times Bestseller, TEAMMATE - by David Ross and Don Yaeger. As with each of my episodes, I ask Don to share his advice for our listeners on personal and professional growth. Best advice you were given when you started out - When Don graduated Ball State with a degree in journalism in 1984, his dad suggested he use each interview to learn a lesson that would also serve him. In over 2500 interviews, Don asked this one question, "If you could point to ONE HABIT that allowed you to do what others could not do, what would that habit be?" Don distilled this to his book "Greatness - The 16 Characteristics of True Champions" - by Don Yaeger.  Favorite lesson - from his interviews and talks with legendary coach John Wooden, "constantly pay attention and manage your inner circle". Don was a part of John Wooden's mentorship program and met with him often, resulting in the book - A Gameplan for Life. Favorite Quote - "Make each day your masterpiece" - from John Wooden. Advice he'd give his 25 year old self - "Slow Down". Which is great advice and something I'd recommend to all early in career listeners. Favorite or most gifted book - "The Notebook"- by Nicholas Sparks". What Don would put on a billboard, "Greatness is a journey and not a destination". You access Don's complete collection of books here, you can reach Don at donw@donyaeger.com and follow Don on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram. I hope you enjoy this episode.
