Mercury rules communication, transportation, and commerce. It oversees our mental processes, coordination, writing, documents, instruments, electronics, cars, siblings, and things close to us. It also is the steward of our central nervous system, our fingers and hands, and the tubes in our body! Speed is in line with Mercury, as is dexterity, flexibility, agility, and wittiness! It swiftly goes around the Sun every 88 days. It's known as a trickster, and its shadow energies include lying, falsehoods, hurtful words, malicious gossip, and wishy-washiness. Mercury is at home in Gemini and Virgo. It is in detriment in Pisces and Sagittarius. Mercury in Taurus brings practical, stable thinking and plans. Complete something you started while Mercury was in Aries. The first aspect Mercury will make is a square to Pluto on Monday! Will we see an announcement from Congress about plans for TikTok or some transportation-related news? 08:03 – Second, the Sun conjuncts Chiron at 15 Aries on Wednesday. Will we see news about a celebrity or a world leader with an illness? The Sun spotlights things and is about authority, and Chiron is about wounds and the head. 09:28 – Third, we'll have a Full Moon at 16 Libra on Wednesday! It is part of a Lunar Phase Family that began mid-October 2021 with a Libra New Moon; the First Quarter Moon was early July 2022; now we have the Full Moon. One more point on this ingress: Mars will be reporting to the Moon while it's in nostalgic Cancer. There tends to be a lack of stability with this because the Moon changes signs every 2-3 days – thus our emotions tend to shift a bit, too. Also, at this ingress, Mercury is in Aries, and Mars is in Gemini – this is mutual reception, so they can help each other out. We also have an Aries New Moon at the first degree – so much fresh, new, fiery, bright, inspired energy! What are your intentions for new goals? Use the energy to feel inspired, articulate, and confident. You can achieve your goals! 10:08 – Second, Pluto enters Aquarius on Thursday! Pluto and Aquarius are both known for extremes. Pluto is a transformer. It eliminates, unearths, and has a volcanic force. Aquarius is the sign of technology, science, the internet, birds, and anything that flies (e.g., drones or astronauts). It also rules groups, clubs, friends, Congress and statehouses. Aquarius is also related to society and the collective – will we see more revolutions and/or pushes for authoritarian governments? Pluto transits Aquarius from March 23 to June 11 (staying at 0 Aquarius); it re-enters Capricorn (and gets back to 27 Cap) from June 11 to October 10; it the re-enters Aquarius on January 20, 2024; and retrogrades again in 2024, leaving Capricorn for around 248 years on November 19, 2024. 15:19 – Third, Mars enters Cancer on March 25, after a long 7-month stay in Gemini! It will leave Cancer for Leo on May 20. Cancer is the sign of Mars's fall: People may be more emotionally reactive and passionate. But it's also very creative! It can also be highly sexual (sex as self-care – be safe out there!). Shadow side includes being moody, accusatory, and having a victim mentality. Mars is the masculine principle and is yang, outward-directed energy. Mars is at home in Aries ("I am") and in Scorpio ("I desire"). It rules enthusiasm, striving, fighting, fornication, survival, and protection. Mars gets us out of bed in the morning – no jellyfish here! It can also sever and separate. Mars is in detriment in Taurus (like a ticking time bomb, where pent-up anger leads to an explosion of violence or sexual misdeeds) and Libra (it wants balance, but in a fight, there is only one winner, after all). Mars is exalted in Capricorn, where it can be an incredible leader or decisive manager. And it's in fall in Cancer, where fighting energy gets misdirected, and it can get caught up in emotional fights (though we like Mama Bears!). Aspects this week include: On Tuesday, Mars squares Neptune for the third time since it entered Gemini. How do you use your energy when you come up against unclear paths? And how do you handle frustration? Have you learned anything since last August? The Sun and Mercury in Pisces will also both square Mars this week. Leave extra time; plans can go awry. And if you have addiction issues, use all your tools this week to stay healthy. 10:20 – Second, the Sun conjuncts Neptune at 25 Pisces on Wednesday. You may feel more motivated to pursue your dream and higher purpose. It's an excellent day for visualizing and meditating. Write down what comes to you today. Do be careful of self-delusion and escapism. 11:41 – Third, we have a Last Quarter Moon (LQM) at 24 Sagittarius on Tuesday. The Moon is opposite Mars, and both square the Sun/Neptune conjunction, which may bring up ego matters and impulsivity. Venus also squares Pluto, and we may see some relationships ending. It can be one of the most productive weeks of the year! 04:35 – The three big things: First, we have a First Quarter Moon (FQM) at 8 Gemini on Monday. This FQM relates to the New Moon from May 30, 2022; it will also connect to the Full Moon on November 27, 2023. This FQM is conjunct fixed star Aldebaran (the right and bright eye of the bull) on the USA's Uranus. It is a hot degree, where Mars stationed direct on January 12. At the time, all the airlines grounded, so take measures to prepare for travel problems, as needed. Also, take care around fire. Interestingly, Venus joins Vesta at 8 Aries in a sextile with the Moon – think, "Crazy eights." Saturn and Pluto are also at 29 degrees, in a semi-sextile, which can speak to being in the right place at the right time. Pay attention! Aldebaran can bring success, but you must act with integrity. 08:44 – Second, Venus (love, beauty, harmony) conjuncts Jupiter (abundance, luck, serendipity) at 12 Aries – the benefics meet! Benefics give to life, rather than take away. Do you have planets at 10-15 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn? Something positive could happen this week, or perhaps you'll make great connections. Do watch out for overindulging. 11:07 – Third, Mercury enters Pisces (March 2 – March 18) on Thursday.
