Episode Description: In this episode the Fly-Fishing Insider Podcast, Greg Speaks with Ryan Willis and Elliot Martin. As Greg has made it part of his mission to grow the small businesses with in fly fishing. Bot Ryan and Elliot are the owners of tandem fly box a really cool little box that is made right in the USA. Greg and the guys talk about how this simple but needed design was created from many trial and errors of using a 3D printer after what they thought was missing from current fly boxes. The guys tell us how their day jobs would bring them into lakes and such in the back country and they never had a set up with them, that they could just quickly tie up and start fishing. We also cover the story that the guys have had along the way the ups and many downs to get this company started and off the ground. But Ryan and Elliot tell me the amount of time and money invested in the product as it’s a fair bit and they are certain this box is going to make it. John tells us a fair bit about the company’s background and how he and his partner Morgan met, as well as how two guys who got laid off from the same job due to the owner jumping ship abandoning the business one day met and decided to create this great rod travel storage system. Greg & john talk about the many challenges the guys faced while getting this company off the ground. And even at one point almost got sued by the USA Olympic committee due the naming of one of their products. John also tells us the the brand was a success on Kickstarter which what really push the guys into new area and opened them up for creating storage systems both for fly fishing and Mountain biking. Guided EP # 2 Alice Owsley. Episode Description: In this episode the Guided Podcast, Greg speaks with Alice Owsley the owner of Riverside Angler guiding, based out of Yellowstone Montana, USA. Greg talks to Alice about how she started her journey into Fly fishing while on a trip to the Oregon area. Once there it begins her love of the sport had begun. Until the early age of 15 when she decided to emancipate herself from her foster family and start life growing up on her own. Kayla opens up fully about her family history with substance abuse and how her family was not present in her or her sister’s lives. Episode Description: In this episode the Fly-Fishing Insider Podcast, Greg speaks with Geoff Klane the owner of Brackish Flies and guiding, Based in Lowell, Massachusetts, USA. Greg talks to Geoff about how he started his journey into Fly fishing with his LL Bean rod and Reel combo.
