Wild Wisdom

Since the beginning of time, the pelvis has been a sacred part of our body. It is the seed of our safety and security, the familial history which carries DNA of generations prior. Women, in general, are more familial and tribal. Research shows that when women gather together and we are under stress, we have a stress-release hormone that cascades and brings us back to the center. Research also shows that women are prone to a lack of self-worth and tend to look for external factors to receive validation. We do this because we have learned it over time, passed down by generations before us. But there is a way to break this cycle.  My guest, Dr. Sara Smith, shares her profound wisdom on how to access your Core Confidence through the pelvic floor and its intricately woven dome of not only bones and soft tissue, but the strong energy it carries. Dr. Sara explains that years of generational conditioning, or sometimes chronic pain, has made us dissociate ourselves from the pelvic floor, yet this is a powerful part of the body where all the great wisdom lies...mind, body, and spirit. With Core Confidence, we can develop a deep trust in the messages and direction in which we are going and this comes from the pelvis and influences the gut {yes, it’s that gut feeling...bingo!}. If we learn to tune into this area on a regular basis, we will leave a mark that will not only leave a legacy for generations to come but also do service for ourselves. Join us today to learn how to tap into true stability, access your authentic voice, and empower your lives and relationships. In this episode you will learn: Dr. Sara’s journey into pelvic floor physical therapy and connecting with practical, energetic practices  How to connect with the pelvic floor to access your core confidence Links Mentioned in this Episode: Learn more and check out Dr. Sara’s NEW website:: http://www.drsarasmith.com/ Follow the Wild & Bright Journey: Sara Smith Wellness Facebook Sara Smith Wellness on Instagram Sara Smith Wellness on YouTube Join me in the Wild Wisdom Collective, my FREE Facebook group Get your hands on my NEW eBook -- 7 Natural Methods to Reclaim Your Health

Last year was a very hard year for me, I haven’t shared this publicly, but I had to have multiple surgeries. Without going into a lot of detail, the result was a medical malpractice lawsuit.  Faced with a long ugly process, and little, if any reward, I felt God telling me to drop it, to trust Him, and to move on with my life. The moment I did, the floodgates of clarity, creativity and energy poured in. God put a new song in my heart and lit a fire in my soul.  The morning after I let it go, while I was in prayer, I felt called to finish a big dream I’d had for years  – write a faith and fitness devotional. With 20 years in the fitness industry, as a cover model, competitor and writer, I wanted to share how complete surrender of my appetite, fitness goals, and body image issues were the game changer. The difference Jesus made in my fitness was a lasting answer, and I’ve wanted to share for years. (to learn more about this, go here.) https://www.kimdolanleto.com/fit So...I woke up every morning with a mind full of words and a heart full of purpose. The minute I put my fingers on the keyboard, the words poured out. Isaiah 61:3 sums up my experience perfectly, God gives us beauty for ashes…  God takes our pain, trials and failures and makes something beautiful out of them. Just when it seems impossible or too much to bare, He makes a way and gives you a new start. If that sounds like you today, I pray you’re reinvigorated with hope. Come take my free Strong. Confident. In this episode, Brynne shares how she guides professionals to establish a thought leader and subject matter expert brand, find and engage the right targeted market, and leverage online platforms to attract, teach and engage targeted markets. Check out these episode highlights: 01:28 – Brynne's ideal client: Anyone who is selling to B2B and that their prospects are hanging out on LinkedIn. 01:42– Problem she helps solve: Anyone who's responsible for bringing in new business, struggle with the very top of the pipeline. They really have a hard time scheduling that very first sales conversation. And either they're coming across too pitchy or they're afraid to make phone calls or reach out. And they freeze, "if I could just be in front of more people, I would kill it". And so that's what we do. 02:40 – Typical symptoms that clients do before reaching out to Brynne: The bottom line is that you're not in front of enough targeted buyers in a high credibility way. In a way that they're excited to take your call and really interested in learning from you. 03:56 – Common mistakes people make when trying to solve that problem: It's connect and pitch, or connect and ignore, or not connect at all 04:45 – Brynne's Valuable Free Action(VFA):" Identify who your targeted buyers are by company, by title, by industry, and looking, searching for them using LinkedIn's magic, second-degree filter. That allows us to see who in our network is connected to us through a shared person or shared connection." 06:54 – Brynne's Valuable Free Resource(VFR): Calendly, you can have people schedule calls with you. 07:57 – Q: "What do I do about, 'if I'm not a blogger with content?'" A: Learn how to curate content. Content in your industry that your buyers would be interested in, read through it and add your own two cents and just engage on other people's stuff. Tweetable Takeaways from this Episode: “Learn how to curate content in your industry that your buyers would be interested in, read through it and add your own two cents and just engage on other people's stuff.” -@brynnetillmanClick To Tweet Transcript (Note, this was transcribed using a transcription software and may not reflect the exact words used in the podcast) Tom Poland 0:09 Hello everyone, and a very warm welcome to another edition of Marketing The Invisible. Melanie Johnson and Jenn Foster review tips from expert Robert Kiyosaki, during SellerCon 2019, about becoming rich. Learn about cash flow quadrants, taxes, selling toward your audience, and making a passive income. Best known as the author of Rich Dad Poor Dad-the #1 personal finance book of all time—Robert Kiyosaki has challenged and changed the way tens of millions of people around the world think about money. He is an entrepreneur, educator, and investor who believes that each of us has the power to makes changes in our lives, take control of our financial future, and live the rich life we deserve. What You'll Learn in this Episode: Learn how to create recurring passive income. Even kids can learn these strategies from playing Monopoly. You want to get enough passive income that it takes care of all your regular monthly expenses. The Cash Flow quadrants: Top left corner is "E", which is the employee. Underneath "E" you have the "S", which is self-employed. So the left bottom quadrant is self-employed, but what happens is some of those self-employed people feel like they're a business owner, but they're not because all they've really done is create a job for themselves, and that's why they're on the left-hand side of the quadrant. So on the right-hand side, on the top right, we have "B" the business owner. The bottom right is the "I", investor. You want to be on the business owner and investor side because the that is were the reoccurring income is coming in. A big difference between those two sides of those quadrants, especially when you're a business owner, and you're an investor, you get a lot more tax breaks. So the tax law is written for capitalism (check out last weeks Podcast for more depth into this concept), so you get a lot of tax breaks because the United States is built towards building businesses. Where do you put your money for it to go to work? Where's the first place you want it to go to work? Robert suggests that the best place to put your money is into real estate and rental properties If you want to sell something on Amazon, you don't start with what product you want to sell. You actually start with the audience. Make sure you're in the best tax bracket!

This is someone that has a fanbase, and it’s a 4 ½ star.” Download the Complete PDF Show Notes Free for this Episode Learn 3 Reasons why book Reviews are important Jason's 5 Step Process to Getting Book Reviews on Amazon How to find reviewers How to ask for reviews When your should start thinking about getting book reviews on Amazon What format to send your book to reviewers Download the Complete PDF Show Notes Free for this Episode Connecting with Jason I have a very extensive webinar on this subject.  You can check it out at RealFastResults.com/bonzai.  And, if you haven’t picked up a copy of Write and Grow Rich, which is an anthology that I recently contributed to, you should buy one for $0.99 soon.  They are selling for that right now, since we are in pre-publication.  If you get it now, you will also receive a big package of really great bonuses.  For example, there’s one that will help you learn to emulate New York Times bestselling covers for your Kindle books, for free, using Canva.  There are other great bonuses, contributed by other authors of the book as well.  As previously stated, you can check out this offer at RealFastResults.com/wagr. I’m honored to share this Episode #42 of the Mother’s Quest Podcast, a special conversation released in conjunction with ALS Awareness Month with Mary Huffman. Mary is a wonder woman unlike any I’ve ever met, who relishes life with exuberance, and shares her love with everyone in her midst, even when facing the greatest of challenges. I’ve known Mary and her family, her husband Ted, and her two children Anna and Jonny, for the last eight years, where we’ve been sharing one week out of every summer at a paradise known to us as Bruin Woods, UCLA’s alumni family camp in Lake Arrowhead, California. But the last summer we came together, Mary arrived in a wheelchair, suffering from a mysterious set of symptoms which she later learned was a fast progressing form of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. ALS is a progressive, neurodegenerative disorder which has currently left Mary almost bedbound 24/7 . This diagnosis has been devastating, as you can imagine. But through it all, Mary has focused on trying to stay positive, continuing her life goal of helping others, and making memories with her family and friends. In our conversation, we explore all the ways in which Mary has lived with grace, positivity and optimism her whole life, and especially since her diagnosis, when instead of falling into despair, she has determined to “Stephen Hawking the crap outta this,” cherish every moment, especially with her children, and find ways to live her legacy. This conversation covers a lot of territory, including the inspiration of her mother, who taught her so much about helping people, a year abroad in Russia during the time of Gorbachev, becoming the first college graduate in her family and then continuing to Stanford’s business school, and her entrepreneurial endeavors creating adult coloring books to reduce anxiety, something she has learned to conquer. She gives us a challenge to commit to coloring each night before we go to bed to reap mental health benefits and invited us to contribute to her Master List of Life Tricks. And of course we talked about her family…especially her husband and children who she adores. It was such a blessing to have this conversation with Mary during a time when she had full use of her voice. And, although we didn’t know when we recorded that we would share it publicly on the podcast, we decided afterward that doing so could contribute to her legacy of helping others. And that, as you’ll learn when you listen, means everything to Mary. Mary has so many lessons to teach us.. I hope you’ll leave this conversation, as I did, with a deep appreciation for living your E.P.I.C. life to the fullest, finding the ways that you can help others with a generous spirit, facing any challenge that life brings you with tenacity and optimism, and remembering as Mary and her son Jonny say that there is always rain before a rainbow. I’m sending you and your family so much love Mary as we release this episode out into the world. I hope those of you listening will join me in sending positive thoughts and wishes. This episode dedicated by: Mary’s friend, Marcella Klein Williams. Topics Discussed in this Episode: UCLA’s Bruin Woods, the magical place where Mary and I, and our families, have spent the last eight summers and a favorite memory of mine of Mary there singing karaoke to her husband The fast-moving form of ALS Mary has, the inspiration she takes from Stephen Hawkings’ legacy, and how she hopes the fast-moving version will become the curable one The video “There’s Something About Mary” that her friends and family created for her and the custom “ALS Mom” and “Team Mary” T-shirts she and her supporters have had printed The inspiration of Mary’s mother to help people and the many ways her mother and Mary have opened their homes and extended kindness to others Mary’s approach to engaging with her children by spending time and listening to them, giving them permission to make mistakes, and helping them understand the ups and downs that come with life. Her adventurous life path, including becoming the first in her family to attend college, a year abroad in the then Soviet Union, graduate school in business at Stanford, and management consulting abroad. The ways Mary has built strong connections her whole life and a key piece of advice for how to handle criticism that has served her and her relationships well How stumbling on a coloring book of her mother’s led her to co-create adult coloring books with a friend, and how coloring can have the same benefits as meditation Mary’s experience battling anxiety and her strategy for defeating our “anxiety monster” How Mary got started creating “Mary’s Tricks for Life”, and the “Master List of Life Tricks” that we can all contribute to The E.P.I.C. snapshot moments that revolve around her children and why they mean so much This Week’s Challenge: Mary challenges us to: Try coloring 15 minutes each night before going to sleep. Check out the special coloring pages that Mary has created if you don’t already have your own favorites. Tale a look at the list of life tricks at Mary’s website and send in your own so she can add it to the Master List of Life Tricks. 6 Ways to Do Business with Influencers: Even if You Don’t Already Know Them

One of the fastest ways to grow your company is to do business with influence centers in your niche. The problem for most business owners is they have no relationship with influencers who could help them. Fortunately, doing business with influencers in your field is not as hard as you might think. Why is this?  It boils down to this one simple truth: everybody needs something. This basic concept is the engine that drives the economy. You can use it to create and nurture relationships with top influencers in your market. What Does Not Work in Creating New Relationships with Influencers Before we jump into these strategies it would be helpful for you to understand what does NOT work in creating new relationships with people who could help you.  Download the Complete PDF Show Notes Free for this Episode One of the worse things you can do when you want to do business with someone new is to approach them as an unknown person and ask them to do something for YOU.  This happens frequently in my business.  People will email or call and ask if I can promote them or send an email to my list for them.  All too often I have no clue who these people are, the quality of their products and services and most importantly their business ethics.   So I usually respond with a polite “no thanks” if I give them a response at all. My point is this: [bctt tweet="Don’t start a new potentially beneficial relationship by asking someone you don’t know to do something for you." via="no"]In fact, it is best to take the polar opposite approach. That is, figure out something you can do for them and remember the sage wisdom that “everybody needs something.” Download the Complete PDF Show Notes Free for this Episode Learn: 6 Ways to Start a Business Relationship with Influencers Video Testimonial Blog Review Twist Blog Interview/ Podcast List Building Share Their Content On Social Media The Cool Kids Club Influencer marketing Real Fast Results Community If you are diggin’ on this stuff and really love what we’re doing here at Real Fast Results, would you please do me a favor? Today’s guest, Michaelangelo L’acqua is one that I find truly fascinating as he does something that is very rare and unheard of, but also completely inspiring. He is known as a music lifestyle curator for the W hotels. He gets to travel around the world to their hotels and curate the musical experience for their guests -pretty awesome. He’s actually been to one of my dream places, the W hotel in the maldive Islands, which I’m dying to see. He also DJ’s huge parties around the world, which he considers just a “hobby”, but in the grand scheme he just loves curating musical experiences for people. Michaelangelo has also created an amazing mentorship program for DJ’s that we get to hear about and we also dive into how big personal branding is for DJ’s and well anyone in the creative field. I’ve always thought that if I weren’t a photographer, I’d be a DJ, but after talking to him, I realize how much photography is something that is much more natural to me. Especially as he talks about the vast musical knowledge that a real DJ should have to take their career to the highest level. We also get to talk about the process of curation and how in this day in age it’s necessary to stand out above the digital noise. We met at Summit Series a couple years ago, and Michaelangelo has always inspired me in what he does, and it’s a privilege to get to dive into it with him. So lets jump in! "Once you define what you've become, you defy the infinite possibilities of what you could be." Some things we learn in this podcast: Learn about the best profession in the world: musical lifestyle curator How he got his start in high fashion The pitch that led him to success as the Ambassador for W Hotels Sonic Branding vs. DJing - How does one choose? The inexplicable value of traveling the world as personal development The quest for mastery and how committed Michaelangelo is to it The skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur All about the mindset of professional DJs Why egos have no place in the music industry Working with Amfar to make AIDs a disease of the past How to Acknowledge the people in our life Skills to stand out from the pack Links Mentioned in this Episode: Learn more about abolishing Aids: Amfar Connect with Michelangelo Instagram | Twitter | Website | Soundcloud
