Stan Against Evil Season 3 Premier Wednesday October 31 Makeup FX Press Conference with Dave Snyder and Mike McCarty from Autonomous FX, Inc. and actor Mike Ignis. https://autonomousfx.com The series stars John C. McGinley as the curmudgeonly retired police sheriff Stan Miller and Janet Varney as Evie Barrett, the current sheriff of Willard’s Mill determined to wipe out the demons that plague their quaint New England Town, along with a slate of all-new guest stars. Currently in production in Atlanta, GA, the third season returns with eight all-new episodes. Stan Against Evil is created by Dana Gould and produced by RadicalMedia. New guest stars coming to Stan Against Evil Season 3 include: Scott Adsit (Big Hero 6, 30 Rock) as Bill, an apathetic demon-plumber who becomes intertwined with the Miller household. Maria Bamford (Lady Dynamite, Arrested Development) as Nurse Pickles, a stern, no-nonsense nurse who may not be as helpful as she seems. Matt Braunger (Agent Carter, Up All Night) as Dr. Barlow, an earnest, academic-type surgeon at the local hospital. Christopher Mintz-Plasse (Superbad, Neighbors) as Zach, a character in a popular fictional vampire show who makes a connection with Stan’s daughter Denise. Eddie Pepitone (Old School, The Muppets) as Lenny, a balding, middle-aged townie who, in a prior life, dressed up as a gorilla for local birthday parties. Deborah Baker Jr. and Nate Mooney return to co-star as Denise Miller, Stan’s absent-minded, do-good daughter, and Deputy Leon Drinkwater, Evie’s right-hand man, respectively. David Koechner also returns to guest star as Kenny, Evie’s self-absorbed, oblivious ex-husband. Season 3 picks up immediately after the events of the Season 2 finale, with Stan and Evie back in Willard’s Mill dealing with the consequences of Stan traveling through time to save his dead wife Claire. In doing so, he inadvertently opened a portal between the Land of the Living and the Land of the Dead…allowing evil forces to truly take over the town and even some of its inhabitants. Although always the skeptic at first, Stan must work with Evie to once more save the town – even if it means making a literal deal with the devil. Stan Against Evil is created, written and executive produced by Dana Gould, with Tom Lassally also serving as executive producer. RadicalMedia produces the series with Frank Scherma and Justin Wilkes executive producing. Star John C. McGinley also serves as a producer. Stan Against Evil Seasons 1 and 2 are available to watch on iTunes, Amazon, GooglePlay and Xbox. Season 1 is available to stream on Hulu and will be joined by Season 2 in August. - - Please Subscribe To This YouTube Channel - - Support Us https://www.patreon.com/outbreakpodcast Thanks for listening and please rate us on iTunes !!! https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/e... Join the Damn Dirty Geeks and our special guest DEBORAH BAKER, JR. as we more fantastic behind the scenes stories of making Dana Gould’s horror comedy series STAN AGAINST EVIL, as she wrapped her second season playing Denise Miller and now about to begin Season 3 of the show. Deborah continues our winning streak with guests from the STAN AGAINST EVIL cast, including creator Dana Gould and co-star Janet Varney. She immediately got us in the mood with stories of her haunted house tales from location shooting in Georgia, related to her own poltergeist experiences from childhood — a surprise turn in our conversation for sure! Just as scary is the show’s rapid shooting schedule, which demands block shooting of all scenes at one location across multiple episode scripts. We delve into Deborah’s character relationships with Varney, Nate Mooney, John C. McGinley, and how Denise often speaks in Gould’s own comedic voice as a spokes-character. Much of our discussion centers on comedy, which leads us into a great talk about Deborah’s multiple appearances in Dana Gould’s live stage readings of Ed Wood’s PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE script. A perfect project to suit Deborah’s sketch comedy acting background, PLAN 9 LIVE turns the cult classic film on its ear with a stellar cast including Jonah Ray, Janet Varney, Baker plus many special guest stars depending on the timing and location, including Laraine Newman and Paul F. Tompkins on the most recent performance. The more seriously and literally the cast performs the script, the funnier PLAN 9 gets. Be sure to check out the Largo at the Coronet website for upcoming shows if PLAN 9 LIVE returns. Check out our photo gallery of Deborah Baker Jr.'s work and show notes for this episode at our website DamnDirtyGeeks.com a few days after this release.

“Unselfies” and photo booths make advocacy fun! We’ve seen an explosion of selfies, or self-portraits, as camera phones have become ubiquitous and people want to share photos of themselves on networks like Facebook and Instagram. Now, nonprofits have flipped the term and asked people to share unselfies -- photos of themselves advocating for a cause. In today’s Spark Change Podcast, Erin Murphy and Denise Miller share our experiences with unselfies, as well as photo booths for advocacy. At Firesteel, we experiment with a lot of new media tools as we advocate for an end to homelessness. The purpose of the Spark Change podcast is to share what we've learned, and to help other advocates use these tools. Visit http://firesteelwa.org/ to learn more and share your feedback. In Firesteel's very first podcast, Erin Murphy and Denise Miller of YWCA Seattle | King | Snohomish share ideas for using Google+ Hangouts to advance advocacy. Hangouts are a very accessible way to connect people, wherever they are, and to create an archive of their video conversations. Firesteel tests a lot of new media tools as we mobilize our community to advocate for an end to homelessness. Erin Murphy and Denise Miller of YWCA Seattle | King | Snohomish share ideas for producing simple videos for advocacy. Short videos are easy to make and share with smartphones, and they can have a big impact because of their power to create an emotional connection between viewers and people they're watching.
