It was a pivotal moment Brian Robbins tells us he'll never forget: stepping onto a makeshift stage to address some 400 employees just minutes before a key 8-K filing would publicly announce the potential sale of a major business unit. The room bristled with anxiety—people worried about their jobs and the future of the company. Robbins recalls that, instead of relying on scripted talking points, he spoke from the heart and vowed to keep everyone informed as events unfolded. By offering that openness, he reinforced his belief that finance isn't just about numbers, but about building trust and forging a clear path forward.Today, that spirit of transparent communication fuels Robbins's approach as CFO. Above all, he prioritizes strong relationships across every organizational function, from sales and marketing to product and engineering. This is why go-to-market execution, he explains, has become the centerpiece of his strategic leadership. Robbins embeds dedicated finance professionals alongside revenue-focused teams, helping to fine-tune territory splits, refine pricing, and calibrate product positioning based on real-time data. “Head of the Class” is a sitcom that aired from 1986 to 1991 on ABC. The show centers around a group of academically gifted students, and their laid-back history teacher, Charlie Moore (played by Howard Hesseman). Charlie's unconventional teaching methods and his efforts to show the students that there's more to life than just academics form the crux of the series. “Head of the Class” received positive reception during its run, particularly for its unique premise focusing on exceptional students, which was a departure from the typical high school sitcoms of the time. In a thrilling announcement that has fans of both franchises buzzing, Paramount Pictures has confirmed the upcoming crossover movie featuring G.I. Joe and the Transformers. This iconic union, hinted at in last summer's "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts," is set to bring together these two legendary Hasbro brands in a cinematic spectacle. The exciting venture will be executive produced by none other than Steven Spielberg, a nod to the seriousness with which the studio is treating this ambitious project. While the film currently has no director attached, the concept was originally developed by Steven Caple Jr. during the making of "Rise of the Beasts." Lorenzo di Bonaventura, a name synonymous with the Transformers franchise, will return to produce the film alongside Mark Vahradian, Michael Bay, Tom DeSanto, and Don Murphy. This powerhouse team has been integral in shaping the Transformers universe and are now poised to do the same with this crossover. Brian Robbins, CEO of Paramount Pictures, announced during CinemaCon this morning that di Bonaventura's production deal at the Melrose Lot has been renewed, ensuring that the veteran producer will continue to bring his expertise to this and other exciting projects. This crossover draws on a rich history, dating back to the 1980s when G.I. Joe and the Transformers shared storylines in Marvel comics, creating epic narratives that fans still reminisce about. This film aims to capture that nostalgia while introducing these characters to a new generation of viewers. As anticipation builds, fans eagerly await more details about the film's plot, cast, and eventual release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this groundbreaking cinematic event.

Shirleon joins Melvin in summarizing the late-90s Kenan & Kel hit, Good Burger! From it's absurd burger-flippin' hijinks to Ed's silly antics, the two discuss the positives from the 90s aesthetic, the loss of entertainment complexes, and borger! Topics: (PATREON EXCLUSIVE) 37-minutes discussing what goes into professionally archiving material, why it's important, how it's influential, and how the loss of various Quibi media is ultimately a very sad thing. (PATREON EXCLUSIVE)Good Burger starts with a lot of chaotic silliness. Even so, Shirleon realized there wasn't a whole lot about the film she remembered.Ed can be frustrating and annoying to some, but Melvin and Shirleon feel he balances well into the "lovable doofus" category.Melvin talks about how he misses multi-entertainment complexes that serve food, games, arcades, etc.. Good Burger made him nostalgia for that kind of thing again.Figuring out, based upon what we hear and see from the movie, makes up Ed's "Special Sauce".Celebrating dance numbers in movies that otherwise seem like they would not have dance numbers.Recommendations:Loki (2021-2023) (TV-Series)Malum (2023) (Movie) Support the showSupport on Patreon for Unique Perks! Shoutout to our special guest @KennEdwinTV Good Burger is a 1997 American teen comedy film directed by Brian Robbins, written by Dan Schneider with Kevin Kopelow and Heath Seifert, and starring Kenan Thompson, Kel Mitchell, and Abe Vigoda. It is based on the comedy sketch of the same name on the Nickelodeon series All That, with Mitchell reprising his role. The story follows a high school student who takes a job at a fast-food restaurant called Good Burger in order to pay off the damages he made to his teacher's car. The film was produced by Nickelodeon Movies and Tollin/Robbins Productions, and was filmed from March to April 1997. It was released worldwide on July 25 of the same year by Paramount Pictures. When Mondo Burger sets up across the street, sneaky Dexter and burger-obsessed Ed realise they need to fight to keep their fast food joint going.
