Status-quo dropouts and creators of WorldTowning, Jessica and Will Sueiro are avid adventurers who have been traveling the world with their free-spirited children, Avalon and Largo, since 2014. Together, they've visited 70 countries in their quest to provide their children with a global education, while building a deeper bond as a family. WorldTowning is a company committed to helping individuals broaden their global experiences through coaching, immersive group expeditions, and sharing their entire journey on their YouTube channel. In part 2 of this interview, Will and Jessica talk about their approach to long-term global travel, from staying on top of healthcare to letting their kids pick which countries they go to. You'll gain insight into the challenges and uncertainty of leaving behind the American Dream, the mindset required to live a nomadic lifestyle, and why parents shouldn't wait until their kids are grown up to travel. If you felt HEARTBROKEN after doing today's crossword, well, that's probably just a side-effect of the theme - the word HEART, appearing in words with an increasing number of other letters being inserted in between. Otherwise this was a fun crossword, with a few notable clues -- 34D, Communication at Gallaudet Univ, ASL (marking the second time that has appeared in as many days); 46A, Stage name of Adam Yauch of the Beastie Boys, MCA (!), crossing 46D, One of the Spice Girls, MELB (which is not, apparently, short for MELBATOAST or something similar). Jean got through the crossword, PRESTO, as musicians like to say, while Mike was more LARGO, getting hung up on 37D, Euro rival, in brief, USD (not USA, which he had equated with an abbreviation of Europe). It's Triplet Tuesday, and Jean goes down swinging.

My friend Tiber suggested that I make a recording of this poem as there seems to be no spoken English version of it to be found yet, so here it is. I hope you enjoy and that it is also useful given the poem's rich conveyed wisdom. Music: J.S. Bach - Concerto in D Minor BWV1043, Largo played by Daniel Estrem Time goes by, time comes along, All is old and all is new; What is right and what is wrong, You must think and ask of you; Have no hope and have no fear, Waves that rise can never hold; If they urge or if they cheer, You remain aloof and cold. To our sight a lot will glisten, Many sounds will reach our ear; Who could take the time to listen And remember all we hear? Keep aside from all that patter, Seek yourself, far from the throng When with loud and idle clatter Time goes by, time comes along. Nor forget the tongue of reason Or its even scales depress When the moment, changing season, Wears the mask of happiness - It is born of reason's slumber And may last a wink as true: For the one who knows its number All is old and all is new. Be as to a play, spectator, As the world unfolds before: You will know the heart of matter Should they act two parts or four; When they cry or tear asunder From your seat enjoy along And you'll learn from art to wonder What is right and what is wrong. Past and future, ever blending, Are the twin sides of same page: New start will begin with ending When you know to learn from age; All that was or be tomorrow We have in the present, too; But what's vain and futile sorrow You must think and ask of you; For the living cannot sever From the means we've always had: Now, as years ago, and ever, Men are happy or are sad: Other masks, same play repeated; Diff'rent tongues, same words to hear; Of your dreams so often cheated, Have no hope and have no fear. Hope not when the villains cluster By success and glory drawn: Fools with perfect lack of luster Will outshine Hyperion! Fear it not, they'll push each other To reach higher in the fold, Do not side with them as brother, Waves that rise can never hold. Sounds of siren songs call steady Toward golden nets, astray; Life attracts you into eddies To change actors in the play; Steal aside from crowd and bustle, Do not look, seem not to hear From your path, away from hustle, If they urge or if they cheer; If they reach for you, go faster, Hold your tongue when slanders yell; Your advice they cannot master, Don't you know their measure well? Let them talk and let them chatter, Let all go past, young and old; Unattached to man or matter, You remain aloof and cold. You remain aloof and cold If they urge or if they cheer; Waves that rise can never hold, Have no hope and have no fear; You must think and ask of you What is right and what is wrong; All is old and all is new, Time goes by, time comes along. Tony and Kevin (and Scott!) begin listing all eleven things that are wrong but halt on Carson Daly, about whom more than eleven things are wrong, so the whole question became overwhelming. They then went on to list what was wrong with the two segments on this episode: “A Man Called Bamby, part 3—the extended version”—in which Mr. Bamby and Michael the bartender/novelist peer through the window into the bar as Mafia Goons Aiden and Largo consult their boss's mother, Mrs. Giuliani, about how to protect themselves from her son's wrath, and Bamby's voice-over persona tries to flirt with Michael's voice-over persona while lying flat in a near coma, talking to himself. Next, in “Mr. Skids Saves the School Bus Children,” the unreliable, drunken old lout, Mr. Skids, takes a couple of surly teenagers on a bus trip to the Art Museum, but he doesn't even wake up enough to fall asleep at the wheel. Is this a job once again for 9-year-old Billy? Isn't it always?

#danielhabif #Inquebrantables --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/daniel-habif/support

Opening Song:  Holy Spirit, Living Breath of God by Keith Getty and Stuart Townend Lyrics: Holy Spirit, living breath of God, Breathe new life into my willing soul. Let the presence of the risen Lord, Come renew my heart and make me whole. Cause Your Word to come alive in me; Give me faith for what I cannot see, Give me passion for Your purity; Holy Spirit, breathe new life in me.   Holy Spirit, come abide within, May Your joy be seen in all I do. Love enough to cover every sin, In each thought and deed and attitude. Kindness to the greatest and the least, Gentleness that sows the path of peace. Turn my strivings into works of grace; Breath of God show Christ in all I do.   Holy Spirit, from creation's birth, Giving life to all that God has made, Show Your power once again on earth, Cause Your church to hunger for your ways. Let the fragrance of our prayers arise; Lead us on the road of sacrifice, That in unity the face of Christ May be clear for all the world to see Passage:  14   For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, 15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, 16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.   20 Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (Ephesians 3:14–21 ESV) Musical Reflection:  “The Four Seasons,” Violin Concerto in F Minor, Op. 8 No. 4, RV 297 “Winter:” II. Largo by Antonio Vivaldi, played by Joshua Bell and the Academy of St. Martin in the Fields  Reflection Notes:  The middle movement from Vivaldi's “Winter” violin concerto showcases a violin melody in singing style, constantly moving, rising and falling, and growing in scope and ornamentation.  Prayer: Merciful God, who sent your messengers the prophets to preach repentance and prepare the way for our salvation: Give us grace to heed their warnings and forsake our sins, that we may greet with joy the coming of Jesus Christ our Redeemer; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Doch was heißt das überhaupt?
