Nicola Campogrande"Liberi tutti"Esce per ARIA classics "Liberi tutti", il nuovo album interamente dedicato alla musica orchestrale di Nicola Campogrande, tra i compositori italiani oggi più eseguiti nel mondo. A interpretarlo è l'ADDA Simfónica di Alicante diretta da Josep Vicent, affiancata da tre solisti d'eccezione: il pianista Claudio Bonfiglio, la chitarrista Anabel Montesinos e il Meta4 Quartet.Il disco raccoglie quattro partiture che disegnano un ritratto ampio della scrittura orchestrale di Campogrande. Si apre con "Decisamente allegro", pagina che dichiara fin dal titolo la cifra ottimista e comunicativa del compositore torinese, per proseguire con "R. Un ritratto per pianoforte e orchestra", cinque movimenti — Home, Occhi, Conquiste, Notte, Finale — affidati a Claudio Bonfiglio. Segue "Cinque modi per aprire un concerto", e poi il "Concerto allegro" per chitarra e orchestra, nei tre tempi Andante, Larghetto e Andante gioioso, con Anabel Montesinos solista. Il disco si chiude con il brano che dà il titolo all'intero album: "Liberi tutti. Concerto per quartetto d'archi e orchestra", con il Meta4 Quartet impegnato in un serrato dialogo con l'orchestra lungo i tre movimenti Moderato, Largo e Allegro.Proprio "Liberi tutti" è il cuore del progetto. Commissionato dall'Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano, dalla Punavuori Chamber Music Association finlandese e da ADDA Sinfónica, il concerto ha debuttato il 6 giugno 2025 all'Auditorium di Milano, per poi essere eseguito in Finlandia e in Spagna, dove ha ottenuto grande successo di pubblico e critica. Campogrande stesso ne ha raccontato la genesi in un testo che accompagna la partitura, "Sciogliere le categorie": un brano nato pensando a un presente in cui «le categorie si sciolgono in continuazione», dove i riferimenti logici sembrano smarriti e regna «una buona dose di caos» — ma affrontato, scrive il compositore, «con ottimismo, con allegria, immaginando che dalla confusione del presente possa emergere una vita diversa, consapevole, luminosa». Non a caso nel brano cadono anche i confini di genere: per alcuni tratti è musica sinfonica, per altri musica da camera, con il quartetto che dialoga al proprio interno secondo la tradizione e insieme si apre di continuo al confronto con l'intera orchestra.È una musica che parla direttamente a chi ascolta, senza bisogno di mediazioni intellettuali: lo ha notato la critica spagnola, che dopo la prima esecuzione ad Alicante ha scritto di una «avventura dello spirito» capace di restituire, tanto nell'esecuzione quanto nell'ascolto, «una sensazione di libertà lontana da canoni e rigide considerazioni prestabilite». Un giudizio che si potrebbe estendere all'intero album: quattro partiture diverse per organico e occasione, tenute insieme dallo stesso timbro riconoscibile — luminoso, generoso, capace di restare popolare senza mai essere banale."Liberi tutti" è disponibile su Spotify, YouTube e sulle principali piattaforme digitali. When a murder ends in suicide, investigators lose one of the most important pieces of the puzzle—the person who could explain why. In this episode, I take you inside several recent murder-suicide cases from across the United States, including tragedies involving entire families, intimate partners, and parents and children. From Michigan to Oklahoma, Delaware, and Florida, these heartbreaking cases remind us that every scene tells a story, but it's the evidence that reveals what truly happened. As a forensic death investigator, I explain how investigators reconstruct these complex scenes by examining body position, injuries, blood evidence, trajectories, fire damage, digital evidence, timelines, and countless other details. When there is no suspect to interview, no trial, and often no suicide note, the investigation must rely on science, careful documentation, and the facts left behind. We'll also discuss why protective orders don't always prevent violence, why investigators avoid speculation during active cases, and why it's important to distinguish between homicide and suicide when understanding these tragedies. Throughout the episode, I share the questions investigators ask, the evidence they search for, and why the answers aren't always immediately clear. These cases are difficult to hear, but they also highlight the dedication of investigators, first responders, and forensic professionals who work tirelessly to uncover the truth for victims and their families. Join me as we explore the investigative process behind one of the most challenging types of death investigations, and the questions that often remain when murder ends in suicide.

La comunicazione e la cura per i dettagli rivelano il modo in cui un'organizzazione lavora, stabilisce le priorità e cura i dettagli. Se non si riesce a organizzare efficacemente una manifestazione, l'effetto simbolico rischia inevitabilmente di estendersi alla percezione della futura capacità di governo, se mai questi leader verranno messi alla prova in quel senso. Dall'approssimazione del Campo Largo passo poi a Roberto Vannacci, che continua a conquistare attenzione attraverso azioni fisiche capaci di trasformarsi immediatamente in contenuti politici. Il suo triathlon sportivo in Liguria è un esempio di “credibility-enhancing display” (CREDs), un comportamento costoso che aumenta la credibilità percepita di chi lo compie. Il sottotesto è semplice: se ci metto il corpo, significa che credo davvero in ciò che dico. È lo stesso meccanismo che da tempo analizzo attraverso numerosi casi della comunicazione politica contemporanea: Javier Milei che porta una motosega sul palco, Zohran Mamdani che si immerge nelle acque gelide durante il Polar Bear Plunge, Beppe Grillo che attraversa a nuoto lo Stretto di Messina, Donald Trump e Silvio Berlusconi che trasformano il corpo, gli oggetti e le immagini in moltiplicatori della credibilità politica. Vannacci utilizza lo stesso codice e rilancia persino la competizione corporea con Grillo: il mio corpo è più resistente del tuo, quindi la mia convinzione è più credibile della tua. Il problema è che molti politici, soprattutto a sinistra, continuano ad amplificare proprio il frame di Vannacci. Ogni attacco, ogni dichiarazione indignata e ogni intervento televisivo contribuiscono a mantenerlo al centro della scena. Pier Ferdinando Casini ha sintetizzato la strategia più razionale: ignorarlo. Perché, come sappiamo, persino una smentita continua ad alimentare l'inquadratura che vorrebbe cancellare. Analizzo poi la comunicazione di Silvia Salis durante la missione istituzionale a New York, in cui si mostra viaggiare in Business Class. Ancora una volta, il punto è il significato prodotto dalle immagini: un racconto patinato, ambienti esclusivi e una rappresentazione visiva che rischia di trasmettere distanza rispetto alla vita quotidiana delle persone non fa bene alla sinistra. La comunicazione del lusso è legittima, tuttavia nel marketing politico diventa un problema percettivo. In politica il mezzo diventa messaggio: l'aereo, l'elicottero, l'abbigliamento, il luogo e la distanza prossemica contribuiscono tutti alla costruzione del personaggio, così come nel mondo non politico: da Papa Leone al concerto di Ultimo a Tor Vergata. Parlo inoltre del rapporto comunicativo tra Giorgia Meloni e Donald Trump, della notizia relativa ai contatti con Recep Tayyip Erdoğan prima del vertice NATO e del successivo meme pubblicato da Trump in cui parla di "ordine restrittivo" per lei. Quando diventa pubblica la preoccupazione per le possibili iniziative comunicative di un interlocutore, l'emozione trasmessa è la paura. E la paura colloca inevitabilmente l'altro in una posizione di dominanza. Trump conosce perfettamente questi meccanismi e produce imprevedibilità, costringendo gli interlocutori a reagire all'interno della sua cornice. Nella puntata commento anche la nuova strategia di Matteo Renzi con la campagna “Quando c'era lei”, e la scelta di costruire fin dal titolo il frame del “dopo Meloni”; l'uso ormai ripetitivo dell'accusa di fascismo; il il rischio di provocare reattanza psicologica negli elettori; la stretta di mano tra Trump ed Erdoğan al vertice NATO, impegnati in una reciproca esibizione di dominanza non verbale; il ruolo degli occhiali da sole nel rendere indecifrabili le emozioni e propongo ancora una volta l'estensione dell'approccio di Trump con il celebre esperimento psicologico della “still face”. Prima di definire pazzi i protagonisti della politica, dovremmo imparare a osservare gli effetti concreti delle loro azioni comunicative. Perché corpi, immagini, oggetti, distanze e movimenti raccontano spesso molto più delle parole, e delle nostre paure.

Peter Layton is a pioneering British glass artist and the founder of London Glassblowing, one of the most influential glass studios and galleries in the United Kingdom. He played a central role in the development of the studio glass movement, helping to establish glass as an artistic medium.Born in Prague to Jewish parents, he and his family escaped in 1939 and settled in Bradford, where Peter counted the artist David Hockney among his friends. A trip to the United States in the 1960s to teach ceramics led him to his first encounter with glassblowing, and when he returned to the UK he set up a studio called London Glassblowing. Its ethos of collaboration and openness remains the same 50 years after its founding, and members of the public are welcome to see Peter and his colleagues create spectacular pieces of art out of glass.Peter's work is influenced by many things: early pieces tackled political issues, and he finds clouds, pebbles and other natural forms particularly inspiring.
