The Inventors Doug Stebleton part 2Doug Stebleton has been working in the entertainment business since 1987. Born and raised in Glasgow, Montana, he came to Hollywood at age 19 and has lived and worked in southern California since then. His expertise is music publishing for film and television. His company owns a catalog of songs that are licensed to the film and television studios and to independent productions as well. Doug is not only a film producer, but an author, praise God! But it is his love of history that drives him to make films and documentaries that are inspiring, informative and educational – all at the same time. His love and passion for history led Doug to create and produce the film, “Mother of Normandy,” which he has turned into a hard cover book an e-book. Doug is also part of “Good Fight Ministries,” which exists for the glory of God and for equipping Christians with the Truth, by exposing the unfruitful works of darkness (Ephesians 5:11), while maintaining a heart to win the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Good Fight Ministries specializes in teaching and encouraging spiritual warfare against the powers of darkness, as well as sharing important insights as they relate to biblical prophecy and the end times. The tools that Good Fight make available have proven to be incredibly effective in leading thousands of people to Christ and encouraging Believers in their walk with the Lord. Doug Stebleton was on a few years back and we have maintained contact since then… I consider Doug a great friend and when I found out he has just published another amazing book…I just had to get him back on to tell us all about it. Amen! This is book number two in the “Hollywood Time Travel” series, titled, “The Inventors.” I was just published on Amazon on August 28th of this year… amen. Book one is titled “It's A Wonderful Time” and was published in 2021…and that book was absolutely amazing! I enjoyed it so much – I gave it out as Christmas gifts to family. Amen! Doug also produced a documentary on the Normandy Invasion titled “The Mother of Normandy,” which I'll give him a chance to talk about that film AND a brand new book, also titled, “The Mother of Normandy – Special 80th D Day Anniversary Edition.” Amen! With that being said… help me welcome back to the program, our good friend, Doug Stebleton. Doug, it is so good to talk to you again, brother! First question I always start with is this… other than that brief information I just shared, can you tell us in your own words, “Who is Doug Stebleton?” I know you autographed a copy of your first book in the “Hollywood Time Travel” series for my daughter – and she just loved it… as well as I. That book was just one of those books you can stop reading… I think I told you I read the entire book in like two days. I would work and when I took a break I'd pick up the book and read a couple more chapters, etc. I'm an avid reader… I read upwards of 20 books a year… so that averages about 2 per month… but, like I said, that first book was finished in two days… maybe three, tops. I can't wait to read, “The Inventors…” - from what I understand, this is dealing with something that we are very familiar with today, wireless cell phones and Bluetooth technology… but, this is set in 1941. Can you share with us a little bit about your book? This book also has your two main time traveling characters, Evan West and Dr. Cooper, from the first book. Is that right? The first book was set in, if I remember correctly, 1946? In the first book, a car accident launched Evan through a portal of...

The Mother of Normandy Doug Stebleton pt 2 http://www.motherofnormandy.com/ ()June 6, 1944. Commonly referred to as D-Day – the Normandy Invasion. Every year, more and more of the heroes of that day are passing away. Soon, there will be none. When that day comes, a page will turn in the history books. But to capture the heart and soul of that day, to keep it forever in the forefront of our memories, became a passion of our guest today. Doug Stebleton decided it was time for the world to know some of the people that turned survival into victory. That turned their fears into courage. That turned the sorrow of over 5,000 dead and buried in one small town into a life-long ministry of compassion and to tell the story of many stories, all in order to honor those who gave their all to keep the world free. Doug Stebleton has been working in the entertainment business since 1987. Born and raised in Glasgow, Montana, he came to Hollywood at age 19 and has lived and worked in southern California since then. His expertise is music publishing for film and television. His company owns a catalog of songs that are licensed to film and television studios and to independent productions. Doug is not only a film producer, but an author as well. But it is his love of history that drives him to make films and documentaries that are inspiring, informative and educational – all at the same time. His love and passion for history led Doug to create and produce the film, http://www.motherofnormandy.com/ (“The Mother of Normandy,”) which he has turned into a hard cover book and, recently, an e-book! Praise God! Doug shares how the cemeteries in this town came to be and how the “mayor” of the town started to receive letters from American families wanting information on their fallen soldiers… Simone Renaud became famous when a photograph of her in “Life Magazine” showed her putting flowers on the grave of Brig. General Teddy Roosevelt, Jr. How did her life change after that was published? In the book, is it Maurice took over staying in contact with relatives of GI's and things like that after his mother passed away? As the soldiers and families of that era pass away, has he noticed a falling off of interest in visitors and inquiries? There was a US Paratrooper that landed on the church steeple in Sainte Mere Eglise, and that Mayor Alexander Renaud and his son stayed at his house when they visited the United States. I bet that was a great reunion. Amen! How did the making of your film and the research for the book affect your perspective of D-Day? Doug, as June 6th is now upon us again, I believe there is a renewed interest, I pray there is a renewed interest, in learning the behind the scenes activities of the heroes and heroines that supported the liberation of France, Europe and ultimately the defeat of Nazi Germany. How has your film been received? I know, when I was a Cavalry Officer, I studied military history – and that has continued to this day. Especially World War II history. I also believe if we do not learn for the lessons of history then we are doomed to repeat history. In that light, how can someone watch your video and purchase your book on http://www.motherofnormandy.com/ (“The Mother of Normandy?”) CONTACT INFORMATION: http://www.motherofnormandy.com/ () http://www.motherofnormandy.com/ (www.motherofnormandy.com)

The film and book we are talking about is called, http://www.motherofnormandy.com/ (“The Mother of Normandy,”) which details the life of one woman, Simone Renaud, who lived through the German occupation and witnessed the 82nd Airborne and 101st Airborne Divisions parachuting into their town, Sainte Mere Eglise. What initially led you to start researching her and ultimately, creating a documentary honoring her? Her town was the first town liberated by the Allied Invasion. So they were taken by surprise by the invasion, like the Germans? They Sold Their Souls for Rock and Roll Pastor Joe Shimmel pt 1 https://www.goodfight.org/ ()Have you noticed how far society and our culture has fallen in recent years? Not quite the “Leave it Beaver” generation anymore, is it? How many times have you seen the news reports of someone doing something so despicable that you hear comments like, “That's evil” or “They must be demon possessed” or something similar. Though I agree in more ways than we have time to go into today, the question is, “How did they become demon possessed?” “Why are they doing things so evil?” To help us delve into that realm today, I have a very special guest who was drifting into that realm of reality, through something that many people often listen to and participate in. I'm not going to spoil it here, as I would like Pastor Joe Shimmel to explain it for us. But I'm telling you right now, this is an interview you will want to pay particular attention to and share amongst your family, friends and co-workers, as he is going to pull back the cover and be discussing things happening right in your own home and you are not even aware of it… Pastor Joe Shimmel is the senior pastor of Blessed Hope Chapel in Simi Valley, California. His background is one that many teenagers in the 1970's followed, myself included, as we seemed to fall into the “sex, drugs and rock and roll” mentality. It was about as far as we could get from serving the Lord at that time, my life included. Although I was beginning to dabble in the occult and hard rock as a teenager, the military actually served to prevent from following the same path Pastor Joe ended up on… That being said, let's jump into the program! Help me welcome to the program, Pastor Joe Shimmel! Pastor, thank you for taking the time to join us today! I do appreciate it… Revelation 12:11 says we conquer sin and Satan's plans by the Blood of the Lord and the Word of our testimony… I'd like to talk with you about your testimony. I've listened to it. I've talked with Doug Stebleton about it, and I definitely wanted to get you on the program to share your testimony with our listeners. I know there are many people who will be able to relate to the things we will be talking about today… But before we do that, the first question I always start with is this. Other than that brief information I just shared, can you tell us in your own words, “Who is Joe Shimmel?” So, you started off listening to and then writing your own lyrics to music. What first got you interested in delving into that realm and how did the occult work its way through that to you? The Bible has spelled out many words that we use in demonic references, such for cuttings, drugs and serving demonic beings, correct? Can you give us some examples, like Dungeons and Dragons, etc.? Folks, as I stated in the beginning, this is not new. It's been going on since the Garden of Eden if you want to get technical about it. The devil does not have anything new up his sleeve. He's the same yesterday, today and forever. His tactics are as well. But our God is also the same yesterday, today and forevermore. And Jesus has defeated the devil and all that are with him. Pastor Joe Shimmel has been shining the True Light into the darkness of the entertainment industry for decades. I encourage you to go down into the show notes and click the links there. I especially encourage you to watch the video, https://amzn.to/3E2atDB (“The Sold Their Souls for Rock and Roll.”) I watched a few years ago and it changed how I viewed things that I thought were normal, everyday things. I'm telling, Pastor Joe is making an impact for the Body of Christ by exposing these things and I am really, truly, looking forward to the upcoming release of http://www.marveldcexposed.com/ (“Marvel and DC War on God.”) CONTACT INFORMATION: http://www.marveldcexposed.com/ () Website: http://www.marveldcexposed.com/ (www.marveldcexposed.com) (to...

In 2014, Doug produced and directed Reagan at Normandy, a short film for the Airborne Museum in Normandy, France, and in 2017, he produced Heroes of WWII: The European Campaign. Other projects he is producing include a cable TV show on film and TV cars called Kars & Stars and a feature film, Big Life. Doug has a love for history and hopes to keep making films and documentaries that are inspiring, informative and educational. His passion for Hollywood films and time travel inspired him to create The #HollywoodTimeTravelSeries. It's a Wonderful Time is his debut novel, which he coauthored with Reinhard Denke. Reinhard Denke, a native of Texas and graduate of USC Film School, got his start in 2009 with his spec script Sex, #Greed, Money, Murder and Chicken Fried Steak about the Cullen Davis murders in Fort Worth, Texas. The script was optioned by Johnny Depp's infinitum-nihil company and chosen for the prestigious 2009 Hollywood Blacklist. In 2013, he wrote Far Below for David Oyelowo, and was hired to rewrite 2015's Captive, starring Oyelowo, Kate Mara, and Michael K. Williams. He also wrote a TV pilot and series entitled Golden Gate about 1960's era San Francisco that has been optioned by Demarest Films, and wrote the limited TV series Vanished for Straight Up Films and Truly Original Entertainment. Reinhard adapted The Lives of Beryl Markham for Rock Island Films; it is now entitled Undaunted. He wrote the screenplay Ackia for the Chickasaw Nation and award-winning director Nathan Frankowski. Also for the Chickasaw Nation, Reinhard wrote The Chickasaw Rancher, which is to be released in 2021. He adapted The Madman of Music, a bio of composer George Anthiel and movie actress Hedy Lamar. He wrote Moonchild, the story of Linda Kasabian and her ordeal with the Manson Family, for director Marcus Nispel and producer Adam Krentzmann. Reinhard also co-wrote Mizmoon, about the Patty Hearst kidnapping, for director David Brown and Clear Horizon. The Hollywood Time Travel Series is a compendium of novels that revolve around a young time traveler named Evan West. Evan lives in present-day Hollywood, California, a typical millennial working in the entertainment industry as a #filmtrailer editor, a job he does not particularly relish. Evan dreams of one day becoming a successful screenwriter and Hollywood film director, climbing to the top of the very slippery pole called success. He has the typical problems in his life – never can find a girlfriend who appreciates him and always at odds financially. But he lives, breathes and exists for everything film, his heart beats at 24 frames per second. He's an expert in film #history as well and a stickler for detail. Highlights of the Episode: Doug and his early journey What was his inspiration behind the time travel series Who is his favorite character How did he escape the writer's block Why write an old Hollywood inspired plot

It's a Wonderful Time Doug Stebleton pt 2 How many times have you watch a movie and wondered, “What if…?” “What if “this” would happen?” “What if the plot was twisted just a bit?” And then let your imagination just run with it? What would the results be? In this world that is growing darker and darker it seems every single day, sometimes, we need to just let our imaginations go back to far simpler time. A time when family values were cherished and not trashed. A time when life as, well, simpler! Even if it is only to take a brief mental and spiritual break from the rotten here and now. Amen! Well, my guest today has been helping people to just that. Some of the company's credits include Blood Diamond, Borat, Little Miss Sunshine, Zoolander, Big Bang Theory, Blue Bloods, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Sopranos, Ugly Betty, CSI, Scrubs and ER. Doug is also a film producer, which we will get into in just a moment, as well as an author. But it is his love of history that drives him to make films and documentaries that are inspiring, informative and educational – all at the same time. His passion for Hollywood films and time travel…yes, “time travel,” has inspired him to publish a great book, titled, https://amzn.to/30pZ9Sq (“It's a Wonderful Time.”) This book is based on the film that has been played at Christmas time for over 50 years, “It's a Wonderful Life,” with James Stewart and Donna Reed. But we will get into that in a few minutes – and you will definitely want to hear all about this book. You also produced a film titled, “I Want Your Money” that was released in over 500 theatres across the US back in 2010? If I remember correctly, this was about big government getting out of control. Is that right? And now you are also working on a television series called, “Kars and Stars” (with a “K”). What is that about and what channels will it be on? Right now, you are co-producing, “Big Life,” with a projected release date of March 2022? This is about a truck driver who spends too much time on the road, causing problems with his son…but now the dad needs the sons help as they try to patch up the relationship. Does that about sum it up? Your book, https://amzn.to/30pZ9Sq (“It's A Wonderful Time”) has its roots to something you observed way back in 1985, while you were driving for Mr. Tebet. Can you share with us what happened and then how the inspiration for this book came to you? Give us the brief synopsis of your book, https://amzn.to/30pZ9Sq (“It's A Wonderful Time.”) You have received some rave reviews since it was released, right? This is just book one in a series? What is the name of the series? When will your next book be published? What's the time frame you're looking at? Now, you also are involved with a ministry in Simi Valley, California, where you're from, called https://www.goodfight.org/ (“Good Fight Ministries,” ) with Pastor Joe Schimmel. I was intrigued by the website and all they are doing to expose the dark side of the world of music, Hollywood, cults, pop culture, etc. They have a variety of resources to help understand the day and time we are living in. I was amazed by how much information is actually on the website. The videos alone are worth going there for. There is one series, “They Sold Their Soul for Rock and Roll” and others… hard hitting but spot on truth. Amen! How do you help out https://www.goodfight.org/ (“Good Fight Ministries?”) Doug, this is all so interesting. How can someone obtain a copy of your book, https://amzn.to/30pZ9Sq (“It's a Wonderful Time?”) Is it on Amazon? Support this podcast

Help me welcome to the program, Doug Stebleton! Doug, thank you for joining us today! I want to get into a bit of your background before I dive into the book, https://amzn.to/30pZ9Sq (“It's a Wonderful Time.”) I believe our listeners will come to know you a bit more and then the discussion of your great book will make more sense. How did you come to the decision to make the move from Montana to Hollywood? And then you parked cars as a valet…but not just any hotel, right? You were asked to be the personal driver for the person who ran Johnny Carson Productions. How did that happen? So you truly started, I guess you say, from the bottom and worked the jobs that most people would overlook. But God was opening doors for you even back then, right? Were you were working with struggling musicians, actors, etc. at the hotel? Possible contacts that you could use to open doors later? My uncle owned a recording studio back in the late 1960's up until about the 1980's in Detroit called “Sound Records.” I know some of the stories he told in producing music, it sounded like a nightmare come to life sometimes. How did you get started in the music publishing business? But you are also a movie producer as well. You created a documentary called “Mother of Normandy.” Can you tell us a bit about that movie and how it came to be? You also produced and directed a short film titled, “Reagan at Normandy” as well as “Heroes of WWII: The European Campaign.” I take you are a history buff, right? I am as well, especially World War II. I'm a George Patton scholar, I guess. I've read so many books about him… The movie with James Stewart in “It's a Wonderful Life” is a classic that is still watched by millions of people every year. Doug Stebleton's book https://amzn.to/30pZ9Sq (“It's a Wonderful Time”) just takes us down a slightly different path to the movie – but one that is truly entertaining. On Dec. 10, 2021 the Frank Capra holiday classic "It's A Wonderful Life" celebrated it's 75th anniversary. Like so many, Lisa and I have seen the movie multiple times, including a nostalgic visit to the theatre a couple years ago to see it how it was meant to be seen (on the big screen). The movie has fans around the world. Our guests this week were inspired by this 1946 Jimmy Stewart showcase to co-write a classic of their own. Using the element of time travel juxtaposed against a nefarious heist caper, authors Doug Stebleton and Reinhard Denke tell the compelling tale of Evan West, a modern day film afficiando suddently transported to the set of one of the greatest movies ever made. With characters like Donna Reed, Henry Fonda, Frank Capra and John Wayne intermingling with Evan and his partner in time, William "Coop" Cooper, be prepared for a great new take on the celluloid masterpiece. Read "It's a Wonderful Time" over the holidays. Merry Christmas! It's a wonderful time. Well, no, it really isn't. But the 40s were. Wait, no, they weren't either. Was any time ever wonderful? How about the time you spend reading It's A Wonderful Time? That's gotta at least be better than how things are going. After we talked with Doug and Reinhard, it's a sure thing, because the idea of going back in time to fix mistakes is something we've all thought of at one point or another. Plus It's A Wonderful Life is a classic. A recent classic, apparently. It's complicated. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
