“Sometimes in business, you will have to pause things, stop, revisit, find a strategy, change your mindset and you're gonna be able to keep going with it.” - Francesca Moi, 2020Today, we will talk about cockroaches… Kidding!!! I recorded this podcast and I’m not even half-way when I saw a massive cockroach staring right in front of me. I was so freaked out!!!Okay, I’ll stop talking about it. Let’s go back to the topic. In this episode, I talked about problems in business. We all have our own problems, right? Whether it’s in our personal life, relationships, or in business - sometimes it’s small and petty and sometimes it’s big and critical. Also, while on our journey, in business, for example, we thought that there won’t be any problem as long as we have our clients and we get to have money…Sorry to burst your bubble, but it’s a BIG X!It’ll be unreal if you think that there won’t be a problem. The reality is that problems are part of the business and you're going to go through them because they are actually opportunities for us to improve, to make things better, to take things to the next level. But, it depends on how we approach and solve it. We either totally messed it up or we successfully conquered and surpassed it - taking you to a whole new level (sometimes).Problems are made for us to grow. And if we actually avoid problems - if we try to put the problem under the rug, eventually, we're going to stop - we're going to stop growing, we're gonna stop being able to do things. If you want to know more about this episode, please listen now and click that play button. Also, leave a feedback on what you think below. Have a great day/night!!!What you will discover:Problems in business - people trying to not have problems is impossible. Why it’s okay to have problems. My biggest problems this year and what I learned from each one.Tips to overcome your problems and how you should deal with it.Why problems are never ever impossible to solve. Why should you appreciate the problems rather than try to avoid them?Say Hi to me on social media!!Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/themeetupqueen/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/francescamoifm/Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/francescamoi/Website: www.empoweringevents.com.auHave you joined my Mastermind program?Join here: https://members.empoweringevents.com.au/l/mastermind/Join me on my next Half Day Workshop!Online: https://e.empoweringevents.com.au/free-workshopLive: https://e.empoweringevents.com.au/half-day-workshop-liveJoin my new program:https://francescamoi.securechkout.com/fmm-online-course(Discount code: FMLAUNCH)

This week I talk about the difference between being masculine and being macho. When I think of macho I think of my ego and when I think masculine I think of my higher self. I used to think being masculine meant having elements of strength or position by being super macho. I love that we're moving into a time where there's a lot more belief of a balance of energies because females can be masculine, and males can be feminine. And I love this because there's so much power in this. I know this because me and my partner, Francesca Moi, use both of our energies and our businesses have skyrocketed ever since. What you will discover: · How to use your masculinity and not come across off as macho. · Using masculine and feminine energies to your advantage. · Importance of femininity, perhaps focusing on purpose, connection, goal oriented. · Utilizing a purpose-driven verse a profit-driven perspective when delivering your message to your clients. · Why being macho will never allow you to take your business to the next level. Social media is undeniably integrated into our daily lives. From keeping in touch with friends to connecting with our families, social media enhances our personal lives and helps maintain our relationships. What many people don't know is that social media is actually a business tool, and you don't have to separate your business and personal life online to be effective. In today's episode, Francesca Moi, also known as ‘The Meetup Queen', talks about how you can grow your business using social media. She also discusses organic ways to increase opportunities and engagement with your community online. About Our Guest Francesca Moi is a speaker and business coach who specialises in building a community using Facebook and Meetup. She is also the Founder and CEO of Empowering Events, a company that helps entrepreneurs through various workshops and events. Furthermore, she has published two books and has started an international academy to create value for business owners. If you want to learn more about growing your online community, check out the highlights below and tune in to the episode! How to Grow Your Online Community Using Social Media Mindset for Social Media Use (4:00) Starting from knowing nothing about Meetup, she began by just experimenting. Use Facebook Live for more engagement with your audience. People think that ‘business is business and personal is personal', but you actually should do the opposite. Truthfulness and authenticity excite and engage your customers. Being professional doesn't mean being closed off. Managing Your Time (8:34) Don't fall into the trap of mindlessly scrolling on social media. Scroll with purpose. Be strategic on your usage. Set timers if you have to. Use social media to create value in your community, by either commenting or posting but don't linger. Hire a virtual assistant if you need to. Strategies for Events Making (14:17) People get stuck on focusing on starting the next event. It is important to keep generating new leads. Focus on the top of the funnel by bringing new contacts and email addresses. Being consistent with your current audience can only get you so far. Social Media in the Future (16:37) People crave connections these days. Don't be afraid to start a conversation with a stranger on social media. Face-to-face and online conversations are the same if you are genuinely the same person in both. Having an initial contact in social media accelerates the relationship. Personal Business Advice (19:41) When you get to the point that you know how to make money, you shouldn't be stuck. You have to grow your business by stepping outside your comfort zone. It's essential to be transparent so that people trust you. How much you make doesn't mean anything about your identity. Jeff Brown, a podcaster and broadcasting professional; Rob Sperry, a network marketing educator; and Francesca Moi, the “queen of meetups” share with your host, Travis Chappell, their thoughts on unique ways to expand your network.   Episode Highlights:  Jeff Brown Launching his podcast was the smartest decision he ever made because it was while he was laid off from his last radio broadcasting job. Podcasting gave him global reach in a way radio broadcasting did not. He entered the podcasting space in 2012, before it was popular the way it is now. Podcasting was a good fit because of his radio background and because he loves how intimate the medium is. The fastest and most obvious way to monetize podcasting is through advertising. He’s able to make his living entirely from podcasting by mentoring other podcasters and turning it into a coaching business. With a podcast, you’re able to get in front of people for half an hour when they likely wouldn’t give you half an hour of their time if you asked them directly; they see it as using their time in a productive way and gives you a foundation to a relationship with that person. Rob Sperry Some people are givers and some people are “matchers,” who are always seeking to get something back in return for what they give. Being an “ambitious giver” starts with gaining a broader perspective and looking at it like a bank account—if you make regular “deposits” of good will and fewer “withdrawals,” eventually you’ll be able to make a much bigger withdrawal later. Build your proverbial ark before the storm comes. Making a financial investment in something is a motivation to make a greater commitment to that thing. Francesca Moi Francesca started a meetup group in all the major cities in Australia and in four months it grew to 12,000 members. People want a magic solution to getting an audience for their speaking engagements, for example, but the answer is simply to “shut up and build your network.” If you start a meetup, focus it around networking and invite an expert to speak to the group to add value. To monetize meetups, which aren’t inherently revenue-driven, Francesca built trust through her online presence and eventually turned that into a coaching business. She gained momentum for her meetups by announcing it to the current meetup participants in advance, so that by the time it’s announced publicly, there are already attendees. 3 Key Points: Podcasting itself can be leveraged as an unexpected networking tool. Your best insurance policy is your network. You have to get to know your clients in order to effectively market to them and add value to their experience. Tweetable Quotes: “I don’t know that there is a more intimate form our content can take than when we create audio content. And I think when leveraged well, it’s one of the fastest ways to build an audience and one of the fastest ways to build trust with that audience.” –Jeff Brown “I was always taught, go find someone who has what you want and listen to them and do what they tell you to do.” –Rob Sperry “The amount of people that come to me and say I don’t know what my clients want from me, and I say that’s because you haven’t been in front of them, you haven’t hung out with them, you haven’t had a dinner with your clients. Plan a dinner and ask them questions.” –Francesca Moi Resources Mentioned:  Follow Me!: Shutttupp and build your network (https://www.amazon.com.au/Follow-Me-Shutttupp-build-network-ebook/dp/B01DLINAJU) by Francesca Moi Get podcast coaching from Travis at www.travischappell.com/apply (http://www.travischappell.com/apply) .  Get your tickets for Travis new live...
