Subscribe to the Always Bayern Chelsea YouTube channel to stay up to date with all of the latest news and content. Danny opens things up with his reaction to Bayern Munich's disappointing 1-2 loss at home in Munich in the opening leg of the UCL knockout quarters. He details Vincent Kompany's lineup, tactics, match highlights, player performances, match awards, Bayern's injury crisis, and Thomas Muller. A lot happened in this match. Muller was inexcusably benched, came on & scored a goal assisted by Konrad Laimer, Bayern missed their chances, Kompany pushed the wrong buttons, and Inter Milan made a defense that wasn't used to playing together pay for their mistakes. Shoutout to Michael Olise though, good match from him. Bayern faces off against Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga for Der Klassiker this weekend before traveling to San Siro to try to mount a comeback against Inter. Jim then jumps on to talk Chelsea's 0-0 draw against Brentford in the EPL. Jim discusses Enzo Maresca's lineup, tactics, match highlights, and player performances. He mentions the weak lineup and players that he doesn't care to see going forward down the stretch. Jim breaks down Chelsea's prospects at reaching the Champions League and finishing in one of those coveted top five spots before finally talking about his friendship with Danny. Welcome back to the Always Bayern Chelsea show. We've got an exciting VIDEO episode for you here covering all the latest club football matches and news. Man oh man has there been a lot of news lately. Subscribe to the Always Bayern Chelsea YouTube channel to stay up to date with all of the latest coverage and to join this growing community of football fans. Danny kicks this one off by delivering the most impassioned breakdown of his career covering Bayern Munich while sick with a cold. Call it his flu game. Bayern Munich beat an in-form FC Augsburg 3-1 in a fun Bundesliga battle under the Friday night lights. But at what cost? Bayern Munich lost Jamal Musiala for the season with a hamstring tear, adding to the list of crucial players who are injured. It looks like Bayern will be desperate for the services of cast aside club LEGEND Thomas Muller after all. Don't worry, Danny sheds some light on this situation as well with his thoughts on how bad of a look it is for Bayern. Back to the match, we offer a full breakdown of Vincent Kompany's lineup, tactics, player performances, all of the match highlights, and even match awards for the key players. Jamal Musiala scored the first goal for Bayern Munich before getting hurt with a nice turnaround shot when Leroy Sane found him with a beautiful ball into the box. Harry Kane drew a second yellow card on a risky challenge from Zesiger sending Augsburg down to ten men before scoring the go ahead goal with a perfect assist from Michael Olise. The final goal of the match was awarded as a goal to Leroy Sane before being changed to an own goal for Matisma on Augsburg. Danny closes things off by looking ahead to the Champions League Quarter Final showdown with Inter as well as Der Klassiker with Dortmund in the Bundesliga. Lots of fun & difficult matches coming up without key injured players. Jim comes through by breaking down Chelsea's fun and exciting 1-0 over Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premiere League. Enzo Fernandez scored the only goal of the this rollercoaster match assisted by Cole Palmer. Jim reviews Enzo Maresca's lineup, tactics, all of the match highlights, and individual player performances. Jim provides an update on Chelsea's season as whole and how he feels about it as well as where they stand in the EPL table and the UEFA Conference League going forward. Chelsea players Brentford next in the EPL and then faces off against Legia in the Conference League Quarter Finals. Subscribe to the YouTube channel to stay updated! Welcome back to the Always Bayern Chelsea show. Club football is back, check out the Always Bayern Chelsea YouTube channel for the videos we posted over the International break. We kick this episode off by discussing Bayern Munich's big Saturday win in the Bundesliga against VfB Stuttgart. After a slow first half Bayern was able to win the match 4-0 thanks for a Harry Kane hat trick and the closing goal by Kingsley Coman. Joshua Kimmich clocked an assist and Thomas Muller contributed to the attack with an injured Jamal Musiala. Joao Palhinha was subbed on early as Aleksander Pavlovic has broken his collarbone and will be out for a while. We break down the lineup, coaching tactics, injuries, individual player performances, and of course hand out our match awards. Chelsea had a big match at Anfield against Liverpool in the EPL. While it was a disappointing 2-1 loss, there was much to breakdown. Nicolas Jackson scored Chelsea's only goal assisted by Moises Caicedo. We review lineups, tactics, performances, and hand out our match awards. Both Bayern Munich and Chelsea have midweek matches. On 10/24/24 Chelsea plays Panathinaikos in the UEFA Conference League and on 10/23/24 Bayern faces Barcelona in a much anticipated Champions League clash. Stay tuned for total coverage from us for these matches. Stay tuned for more! Thanks for watching and listening. In Part 1, Lee reflects on his trip to watch high-flying Lugano take on Winterthur in the Swiss Super League. What's the story behind their collaboration with MLS outfit Chicago Fire? What else has been behind the club's rise to domestic cup winners and title challengers? And could Switzerland have its first national champion from the Italian-speaking region since 1949? We also hear from YouTuber and friend of the pod TheTimTraveller about Campione d'Italia (the exclave on the other side of Lake Lugano) and their eighth-division football team. Next up, it's Paul's turn to tell the story of his visit to Welsh outfit The New Saints ahead of their UEFA Conference League clash with Fiorentina. But what about the four Welsh clubs in the English pyramid dreaming of European football? Why is Norwegian second-tier club Bryne inviting spectators to bring their tractors to matches? And why are the Vatican's men's and women's teams making a trip to Berlin soon? We answer all those questions in Part 2, which includes another guest appearance from YouTuber and Away Days host Ellis Platten. Morning Footy: A daily soccer podcast from CBS Sports Golazo Network
The Morning Footy crew react to the news that Cole Palmer has been omitted from the Chelsea squad competing in the Conference League. Part of the reason for his omission is load management considering there are an unbelievable amount of games these players and clubs are now competing in. There is an opportunity however for him to be a part of the Conference League squad later on as clubs are able to submit new rosters when it comes time for the knockout rounds. Is this a smart move to leave Palmer out at least for the time being?
