An opening day defeat to Man City doesn't tell the whole Wolves story. On this week's Wolves Unpacked, James Bird and Dave Edwards reflect on a moving tribute to Diogo Jota before diving into the performance at Molineux. The team sheet revealed Wolves' intent, Ki Jana Hoever offered an outlet, and Vítor's tactical plan showed signs of promise - even if it was a day of nearly moments. Dave and James debate Marshall Munetsi's impact, why his positives outweigh the negatives, and where Wolves still lack guile. With green shoots expected from new signings such as Jhon Arias, and a second-half full of lessons, the lads ask: do players really target former teammates when they face them? With Pereira's controlled, high-intensity style at the heart of recruitment strategy, the duo explore what is required. In this week's episode of Wolves Unpacked, James Bird and Wolves legend Dave Edwards unpick Wolverhampton Wanderers' thrilling 4-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur, making it four wins in a row in the Premier League. From a vibrant Molineux atmosphere with an end-of-season vibe, to how Vitor Pereiera's side completely outwitted Spurs' notoriously aggressive high press - the lads break it all down. They spotlight “Sir” Emmanuel Agbadou's domination and how Marshall Munetsi - the unsung hero - set the tone with his relentless press, tactical awareness, and growing influence in the squad. Dave and James also explore how Andre and Joao Gomes are fast becoming Wolves' midfield heartbeat, baiting Spurs' press with the same swagger that once defined Joao Moutinho and Ruben Neves - and ask the question: are we witnessing Wolves' next great pairing? And don't miss the love for Rayan Ait Nouri, whose under-the-radar performances get some overdue attention. The conversation also touches on manager Vitor Pereira's growing bond with fans - including a pint at The Moon Under Water - and the warmth from Wolves supporters towards Matheus Cunha, as the Molineux faithful show their class. Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Broadcaster Russ Williams alongside Patrick Tyrant and Marlon From Spurs Kings TV as Wolverhampton Wanderers moved closer to Premier League safety and heaped more misery on Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou with victory at Molineux. Postecoglou made six changes to the Spurs side that drew 1-1 with Eintracht Frankfurt in their Europa League quarter-final first-leg tie, before a second meeting on Thursday that could shape his future. Wolves cashed in with a crucial win that moved them up to 16th place and 14 points clear of the bottom three with six games left. Vitor Pereira's side were on the way to a fourth straight top-flight victory for the first time since January 1972 inside two minutes when Rayan Ait-Nouri scored after latching on to Spurs keeper Guglielmo Vicario's punched clearance on the edge of the area.Wolves doubled their advantage seven minutes before half-time in a moment of high farce, with keeper Vicario pushing Marshall Munetsi's header on to backtracking defender Djed Spence and into his own net. Spurs pulled one back just before the hour mark when Mathys Tel bundled home at the far post after Wolves defender Nelson Semedo made a mess of clearing Brennan Johnson's cross. But Wolves restored their two-goal lead five minutes later when the excellent Ait-Nouri beat Cristian Romero far too easily before crossing for Jorgen Strand Larsen to complete the formalities with a simple finish and scoring for a fourth successive game.Substitute Richarlison gave Spurs brief hope four minutes from time when he bundled home after Wolves keeper Jose Sa touched Romero's header on to the bar. But there was more drama as substitute Matheus Cunha, on for Ait-Nouri after serving a four-match suspension, confirmed 15th-placed Tottenham's 17th league loss this season when Lucas Bergvall lost possession and the Brazilian raced clear and finished calmly. Sammy James is joined by Elizabeth Barnard, both Molineux attendees, as they digest a bounce-back victory against Wolves. Tuesday night brought five changes to the starting line-up from Marco Silva, surprising and unnerving many Fulham fans. This gamble paid off after two goals from Ryan Sessegnon and Rodrigo Muniz. There were tears in many's eyes as Sess opened the scoring within the first minute, rolling back the years to his first stint at the club. Fulham recovered from Wolves' equaliser, stinging the home side with another early goal in the second-half from a lovely Muniz fish and chip finish. Sammy and Elizabeth discuss Marco's tactical changes and how the result provided the perfect reaction to an uncomfortable loss to Crystal Palace at the weekend. They debate whether fans were too quick to judge a poor weekend performance with the other evening's results suggesting that Fulham remain in the mix for European contention. In part two, they look forward to a looming Manchester United fixture in the fifth round of the FA Cup. Can Fulham avoid another painful 1-0 defeat and put emotional memories of previous FA Cup visits to Old Trafford aside to overcome Amorim's poor team. They answer some of your listener questions including some recent tasty Fulham statistics and why Leno has lost the captain's armband.--SHOW-LINKS:If you enjoy Fulhamish, please consider contributing a small amount monthly to help pay our costs.
