Je krijgt de antwoorden op al deze prangende vragen in de Brievenmaandag van maandag 18 mei 2026. Komt er nu wel of geen Splinter Cell reboot? Iemand uit de community vraagt zich af of hij zijn jonge zoon al aan Crimson Desert kan zetten? Waarbij hij natuurlijk meekijkt en speelt. Het menneke vindt deze game namelijk leuker dan Pokémon. Wat vinden vaders Boris en Skate hiervan? En wat vinden we van Kickstarter initiatieven? In het verleden waren hier niet alleen positieve geluiden over te horen. Is dat te wijten aan de partijen die hun projecten aanbieden? Of moeten mensen gewoon goed nadenken en zelf beter research doen, voordat ze iets 'backen'. Leven we met z'n allen in een simulatie? Dan is daar de kwestie van de babyduif. Boris, Jasper en Koos hadden het een week of twee geleden over de gedachte dat we misschien in een simulatie leven. Jasper meldde tijdens deze discussie dat bijen eigenlijk spionnen/drones zijn, waarna Boris zei: “Heb je ooit een babyduif gezien?” Is dat het bewijs dat we inderdaad in een simulatie leven? As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” 22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”Seeing and Believing24 Now Thomas, called the Twin, one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. 25 The other disciples therefore said to him, “We have seen the Lord.”So he said to them, “Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe.”26 And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, “Peace to you!” 27 Then He said to Thomas, “Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Because the Jewish leaders did not want the bodies left on the crosses during the Sabbath, they asked Pilate to have the legs broken and the bodies taken down. 32 The soldiers therefore came and broke the legs of the first man who had been crucified with Jesus, and then those of the other. 33 But when they came to Jesus and found that he was already dead, they did not break his legs. 34 Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus' side with a spear, bringing a sudden flow of blood and water. 35 The man who saw it has given testimony, and his testimony is true. JOHN 19:1-16 - CRUCIFY HIM - BRIAN SUMNER - 2025JOHN 19:1-16 "So then Pilate took Jesus and scourged Him. 2 And the soldiers twisted a crown of thorns and put it on His head, and they put on Him a purple robe. 3 Then they said, “Hail, King of the Jews!” And they struck Him with their hands.4 Pilate then went out again, and said to them, “Behold, I am bringing Him out to you, that you may know that I find no fault in Him.”Pilate's Decision5 Then Jesus came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. And Pilate said to them, “Behold the Man!”6 Therefore, when the chief priests and officers saw Him, they cried out, saying, “Crucify Him, crucify Him!”Pilate said to them, “You take Him and crucify Him, for I find no fault in Him.”7 The Jews answered him, “We have a law, and according to our law He ought to die, because He made Himself the Son of God.”8 Therefore, when Pilate heard that saying, he was the more afraid, 9 and went again into the Praetorium, and said to Jesus, “Where are You from?” But Jesus gave him no answer.10 Then Pilate said to Him, “Are You not speaking to me? Do You not know that I have power to crucify You, and power to release You?”11 Jesus answered, “You could have no power at all against Me unless it had been given you from above. Therefore the one who delivered Me to you has the greater sin.”12 From then on Pilate sought to release Him, but the Jews cried out, saying, “If you let this Man go, you are not Caesar's friend. Whoever makes himself a king speaks against Caesar.”13 When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus out and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called The Pavement, but in Hebrew, Gabbatha. 14 Now it was the Preparation Day of the Passover, and about the sixth hour. And he said to the Jews, “Behold your King!”15 But they cried out, “Away with Him, away with Him! JOHN 18:1-27 - JESUS ARRESTED - BRIAN SUMNER - 2025JOHN 18:1-27 "When Jesus had spoken these words, He went out with His disciples over the Brook Kidron, where there was a garden, which He and His disciples entered. 2 And Judas, who betrayed Him, also knew the place; for Jesus often met there with His disciples. 3 Then Judas, having received a detachment of troops, and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, came there with lanterns, torches, and weapons. 4 Jesus therefore, knowing all things that would come upon Him, went forward and said to them, “Whom are you seeking?”5 They answered Him, “Jesus of Nazareth.”Jesus said to them, “I am He.” And Judas, who betrayed Him, also stood with them. 6 Now when He said to them, “I am He,” they drew back and fell to the ground.7 Then He asked them again, “Whom are you seeking?”And they said, “Jesus of Nazareth.”8 Jesus answered, “I have told you that I am He. Therefore, if you seek Me, let these go their way,” 9 that the saying might be fulfilled which He spoke, “Of those whom You gave Me I have lost none.”10 Then Simon Peter, having a sword, drew it and struck the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus.11 So Jesus said to Peter, “Put your sword into the sheath. Shall I not drink the cup which My Father has given Me?”Before the High Priest12 Then the detachment of troops and the captain and the officers of the Jews arrested Jesus and bound Him. 13 And they led Him away to Annas first, for he was the father-in-law of Caiaphas who was high priest that year. 14 Now it was Caiaphas who advised the Jews that it was expedient that one man should die for the people.Peter Denies Jesus15 And Simon Peter followed Jesus, and so did another disciple. I always taught in synagogues and in the temple, where the Jews always meet, and in secret I have said nothing. 21 Why do you ask Me? Ask those who have heard Me what I said to them. Indeed they know what I said.”22 And when He had said these things, one of the officers who stood by struck[e] Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, “Do You answer the high priest like that?”23 Jesus answered him, “If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil; but if well, why do you strike Me?”24 Then Annas sent Him bound to Caiaphas the high priest.Peter Denies Twice More25 Now Simon Peter stood and warmed himself.
