With the Episode VIII trailer drop during Monday Night Football, we had to whip up another podcast and break it down. While the trailer didn't reveal too much, we still have some solid theories as to what we can expect when the film hits theaters December 14. Tune in for details on what the new Episode VIII trailer revealed: -Character development for Rey: With father-figure Han murdered, Rey is out for revenge. We all know this isn't the best foundation to build a Jedi on, so what does this mean for her path? -Luke is afraid: The trailer confirmed that Luke is definitely on that planet for a purpose, not just to hide. What is he searching for? -Kylo's next step to the dark side: Will he complete his journey to the dark side and murder his mother? The trailer alludes to this. -Meet non-hologram Snoke: We get to meet the mystery villain in the flesh; what will his showdown with Rey reveal? -We still know nothing: What we love about Star Wars is that they don't give too much away. Benicio del Toro and Lauren Dern were absent from the trailer, but we know their characters serve an important part to the new film. -We make fun of each other: We of course tease Pat about his love for the prequels, and Liz yells at Eric for ragging on Luke. -Miller Lite is horrible: Since we live in Indiana, we can't buy beer on Sundays, and all we had available was Miller Lite in the back of Liz's fridge.
