Maddy talks about what head coach Willie Fritz did to reverse his team's fortunes, including making a very late offensive philosophical shift over the summer after the team didn't look as good as he wanted moving the ball in the spring. They also talk about some of the star players for Tulane including running back Tyjae Spears who lead the Green Wave with 212 rushes for 1376 and 15 touchdowns, averaging an impressive 6.5 yards per carry. Quarterback Michael Pratt has also shined in this new offense, completing 64.5% of his passes while throwing for 2776 yards, 25 touchdowns and five interceptions.
